Fabulopus Vacation!!!

Check In: was efficient and fast. Bell Boy / Driver was super duper friendly. Hotel: Was one of the most well kept hotels I have ever stayed at. Rooms were spotless, towels were replaced daily, fridge was re stalked everyday with beer, water and pop. Beautiful towel creatures made with real flowers tucked in every day. There was never any garbage laying around. Spotless Spotless resort! Gardeners were always trimming and pruning and making everything look lush and beautiful. Early in the morning [... read more] the staff was cleaning pools, spotless spotless! The Pools :were so clean and gorgeous! The Beach: was amazing and clean. There was a bit of seaweed but again there were workers cleaning it up .The Buffet: You were given a huge variety of different foods to choose from. Everything was warm and extremely yummy! Walter who booked our Specialty Restaurants was amazing juggling our group of 11 around so we all could get the same time to eat together. The Specialty Restaurants: Staff and waiters went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and made sure you had everything you needed . Bartenders: Were superstars the were like energy bunnies making sure everybody had a drink in hand. Activity Staff: Wow what incredible fun energetic people! What a wonderful fun exciting trip! We will recommend this resort to our friends and will for sure come back :)

This was a beautiful resort and very clean

Rooms were very neat and clean, staff was very helpful and kind. Restaurants were clean and and waitors and waitress were very friendly and constantly wanting to help in anyway. The grounds were very neat and clean, and if not they were always trying to make it look better. The pool was awesome, it was so big and had the lounge chairs in both pools with swin up bars. The only real probelm we had was the ice machine did not work, we told them but it never did get fixed. However, we were able to g [... read more]o into one of the other buildings to get ice so that was okay.

2nd time to Iberostar Paraiso Beach

We vacationed at Iberostar Paraiso Beach last year and enjoyed our stay enough to want to return again this year. There are nothing but good things to say about this resort, from the great food in the buffets and a la carte restaurants, the huge pool, (you never felt crowded), beautiful grounds, enjoyable evening shows and hard working staff. Good service

Only one thing wrong with this place; only one.....its big! Grounds, while gorgeous, well kept,and lovely are huge. Maybe that's too much for me in my early 70's but a lot of walking is required. Otherwise, and I mean it.....otherwise it's wonderful! First are the people: friendly, eager to please, good sense of humour and accommodating. Second is the resort itself: clean, beautiful (coati, swans, flamingos, peacocks and hens, etc) well laid out. Third is food: too much of it, beautiful presenta [... read more]tion, tasty, big variety. Fourth is rooms: marble floors, comfortable beds, great showers, spacious. Lots to do, beach is great but we hung around the pool. Good place for kids. Won't be back because of size; this could be a problem with small kids too.

Great time ......except

Clean, excellent staff, huge, great food, my husband broke his foot while we where there so we couldn't do any excursions , we really wanted to go snorkelling but he broke it on the 3 rd day so that was out of the question :( all we could really do was go to the pool, they did get us a wheel chair, thank goodness , they where very helpful

Great place to vacation!

Beautiful resort, very clean, great beach! Very hospitable and friendly staff too. Would definitely recommend for families. Wish the night entertainment was better though, this is the only think lacking.

Amazing resort!

Loved this place. So clean. Good food. A la cartes were great. Grounds were immaculate. Lots of walking but that was good. Internet usage was not fair. Paid for one hour but the one hour was only usable for ONE day. Did not tell us that when we bought Internet time. This needs to be reviewed. No other resort does this. Still, we will return some day!

Only two complaints

Resort was exceptional We were given an upgrade to get into the building we wanted. Food was very good. Ocean and beach were beautiful. Pool was exceptional. Entertainment was mostly very good. Wildlife was wonderful Negative. Air Canada Vacations would not accept our $100prepaid card. Julie Renaud from Air Transat Vacations got it approved for us. Amazing resort

We just came back from a week in Iberostar Paraiso Beach in Mexico first the rooms were really nice beds great and the maid did and excellent job we had room 3244 top floor and when you go outside if you go out back way you just walk few steps to the pool and poolside bar they organize activities everyday and shows every night. The food was excellent and service too the ala carte resturants we tried Japanese, steakhouse and Mediterranean very good, snack bars on beach and bar of course -friendly [... read more] staff always willing to help we had been to Mayan before so we didn't do tours we were down for a rest so it was nice to relax we enjoyed our stay very much and 30 deg every day who could ask for more.. My only disappointment was that we could only use the del Mar iberostar next door and I wanted to use the lazy river at Lindo iberostar since I can't swim and you can't use their pool but otherwise great ocean just beautiful can't wait to go back.

Excellent service!

The grounds were very nice maintained. The food was good. The entertainment team awesome! The room was cleaned thoroughly. The beach was nice and the people serving at the bars and restaurants very polite and helpful .

The perfect relaxing escape

We were at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach from Jan 4 to 11 2015. We loved it! It was our first trip with our 10 month-old. The facilities were all there to accomodate our little one. High chairs, crib, baby pool. And very helpful staff all around the resort. The beach could have been better since it was very windy all week. But thats not controlable! All over, a perfect relaxing escape!

Trip to Mexico

We are lucky to got this trip,everything was perfect.Room was clear,food delicious ,beach nice,entertiment great.Stuff was very polite,always ready to help.We went with kids 2 and 8 years old,they were happy.

Great all-around resort

We liked everything about this resort. The buffet food was very good, while the taco restaurant and creperie in the mall area were fantastic and a daily treat. The pool is huge and always a shaded place to relax. It's a bit chilly but great for a cool off from the hot sun. The beach was the highlight, tons of shaded huts to sit under. Turquoise water, mostly sandy bottom (watch out for the few rocks), and nice big waves to play in. We spent most of our time here. Entertainment was really good [... read more] too, with the MC Edu running the show most nights. Overall great value and great location 30 minutes from Cancun.

Paraiso del mar

We paid for the stay in Paraiso Beach ....but ....we were put in the Paraiso Del Mar side.....we were told the Beach side was full....not too happy about that at all...but the resort is a very good resort to stay at (Paraiso Beach side)

Excellent Choice

First time at this hotel and given it was an Iberostar we were confident it would be good and it was. The resort was lovely, nicely landscaped, pools were the nicest we've been to so far and the staff were very efficient. Yes, there is a lot of walking, but we didn't mind as the paths were landscaped beautifully and it was an enjoyable walk. There was never a problem finding or getting what ever we needed. Food was very good and bar service was nice, especially pool and beach bars which were wel [... read more]l located. If there was only one thing I would have liked better it would have been the ocean. The beach itself was amazing, but we found the ocean rough most of the time and also we like to snorkel and it wasn't possible while we were there. Yes, we would recommend this resort!

Great Resort for the Entertainment

We stayed at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach Resort on the Maya Riviera Novembe 12 to 20/14. We booked an all inclusive package which included 3 a-la-cartes. The free shuttle with our package was a short 15-20 minute drive south of Cancun, with Playa Del Carmen a 15 minute ride further south of the resort. The resort grounds were beautiful and the pook was huge with waterfalls, bridges across, winding and about 6 apartment block in length. There were about 40-50 grass canapies with 2 custioned loung [... read more]ers under each, many swinging canopied beds which you had to get to early and no shortage of seating. You cannot see the ocean from the pool area which is unfortunate, although the beach once again has at least 100 loungers and lots with canopies for shade. The entertainment team was at the pool every day, doing water exercises and then pool games and teaching pool patrons many different types of line dances. This fun and always smiling entertainment team also participated in some of the nightly entertainment and after the nightly show, about seven of the team would encourage showgoers to join them in more line dancing on the dance floor. The nightly entertainment was excellent with acrobatics, high wire acts, hilarious show with audience members participating, professional dancers. The steak a-la-carte was rubbery and grizzly. The Italian raviloli was doughy, the cannelloni good. The Japenese was well worth the show cooking, definitely recommend. The main smorg was huge with great selection of salad, fruits, veggies, meats, seafood, suchi and deserts with a smaller smorg near the pool and beach. We did try the Mediteranean or Brazilian as used up all of our a-la-cartes. Tip - Pay the waiter at a-la-carte for reservation and you will likely get table. Next trip we will book an Iberostar resort likely on beach in Cancun just for convenience of shopping and airport. Excellent service at all restaurants/smorgs/bars, staff always appreciative of our tips and always smiling no matter who you were. We eat out alot and have never had such excellent service at a resort/restaurant. Our tv stopped working the night before we departed and I called front desk. Within 10 minutes a worker came and checked tv, took it out of room and replaced it in another 10 minutes, even though most resorts likely would not have seeing as we were checking out the following day. We stayed at the Melia in Puerta Vallarta 2 years ago and the food choice, staff friendlines s and entertainment were not even comparable to the Iberostar Paraiso Beach. The room was okay, except for the extremely bad ceiling florescent lighting which shone a shadow over you head. As we had at the Medlia in Puerta Vallarta, there were very tiny bugs on the dresser (you have to look at one spot for a few seconds to notice them moving) so we spent some time killing those and wouldn't dare leave food on it. We kept chips, etc. in the fridge which was well stocked with beer and an assortment of pop and water bottles (large one on counter for your coffee machine). B. Pich Alberta, Canada

Beautiful,Immaculate Resort

We thought the Iberostar was absolutely lovely with many beautiful birds,a long, well shaped pool, immaculate grounds and rooms and very good food as well. We did find the front desk person lacking in any warmth or attention to us upon our arrival..He did not look us directly but continued shuffling papers,trying to deal with 3 couples at once and made no pleasant, friendly attempts at welcome. It was a disappointing first impression. However the rest of the staff made up for that in their frien [... read more]dliness, attempts to please,remembering our names, etc..Special congratulations to the entertainment staff who were amazing. We were also impressed with the welcome and friendliness of the Iberostar Cozumel staff.as wespent a day there Back at the main Iberostar we enjoyed walking around this huge property, eating in various a la cartes and taking advantage of the many activities offered. The beach was a bit windy that week but we enjoyed long walks and getting a swim in the waves.

Very nice resort

Grounds are beautiful, although spread out, lots of walking. Food was very good, service was fine. Rooms were kept meticulously! Not my favourite but if the price was right I'd go again. We had a great vacation!

Very good resort

The entire place was clean beautiful and had lots of sites to see. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. Definitely stay there again. Beach was beautiful clean and lots of room. Liked how the pool went from one end to another and you could swim or walk it

Loved our stay

My daughter and I went to the resort in late September, 2014. We loved this resort. The weather was great. Hot but hummid by late afternoon it would cloud over and make it a little more comfortable. The pool areas were amazing. There was an area for everyone. The beach was nice but the water was a little choppy due to the season. Service at the bars were good and we found the food at the buffet good as well. The only thing we could not figure out was what time the snack bar was open near the poo [... read more]l as it never seem to be open but fortunately the snack bar at the beach which is very close to the pool area as well was open. Transportation around the resort was quick as well, we never really had to wait long for a trolly to take us where we wanted to go. Definately going back.
