Good resort

The hotel lobby is very impressive and the grounds are well kept. The staff is very friendly.. The rooms needs updating. The bed felt humid at night. The food is ok not great. the spa was nice and the staff welcoming.

Beautiful resort - amazing service

2 queen beds. When we got to receiving, we could have gotten rooms with queen size beds but it would have cost us a $30 upgrade fee per night (for 12 days???) would have cost us a fortune so we had to do with what they offered us. Very disappointed in that. One other thing, the beach was not what they show on the pictures - water very beautiful but beaches not that nice to swim in.

Awesome family vacation

Family of five just back from a vacation on this resort. Resort was clean, food was great, huge pool but small beach (if you're a beach person this could be a problem). Very nice water park for the kids. We would definitely go back :)

Great resort!

This resort is spacious, clean and friendly. The resort was full but certainly did not feel that way. No problem getting chairs, huts, dinner reservations, etc. The food and drinks were above average. The size of the resort is NOT a problem ... we were in one of the furthest buildings from the middle of the resort and it was a short walk each way to the restaurants, pool, bars, etc. We did not use the 'trolly system' once. Amazing resort

I loved the palladium it was beautifully designed, and the grounds well kept. The rooms were very spacious and beds super comfy. The bathroom had a large jet tub and large walk in shower. The maid kept our room immaculate and met all our needs...the fridge was always stocked with water, drinks and beer. The buffets were really good, something for everyone. The main pool is massive and beautiful and well maintained, always lots of chairs available all day long. The beach had 3 sections and the cove was the best part of the three. Someone was always available to bring u drinks to your chair...super service. i would highly recommend this piece of paradise to everyone.

Great Family Trip

Very nice property for a family-oriented trip in Jamaica. Visited with two other families - 13 in total, 7 under 7-years old - and found lots to do for everyone. Easy/quick transfer from the airport. Beautiful property and layout. Huge pool and brand new kids splash pad, as well as a choice of beaches. Excellent, friendly staff (special notice for the Kids Club leaders who were not only personable, but also led nightly "mini shows" featuring the little ones). Good food, and wide range of options [... read more] - Blue Lagoon for breakfast, Jerk Hut at lunch and variety of a la cartes for dinner (Indian and Steakhouse amongst the best). Exceptional (strong) drinks from all the bars, with best eveings at the Infinity Bar. Highly recommended for groups like ours, but met people who had a similarly positive experience from singles and couples young and older.

Big and beautiful

we enjoyed it. resort is beautiful, food is great. lots to do for kids. beaches-some are very good, others are hard to swim, because of the rocks. stuff is friendly for the most part. trying to sell massages all the time though, but not too annoying.

Excelent hotel. Great food. Nice beach and entertainment. Friendly staff. Good transportation to the airport. Flexible hours for restaurants. Several small pools around the resort. Very clean and organized.

Wonderful Family Vacation Without Compromise!

We just returned from this gorgeous resort and can't wait to return! My husband, myself and 3 children had an amazing time- kids are 8,6,4yrs old. Jamaica has been a favorite destination with Sandals top notch before kids so we will thrilled to find a family resort with these standards! Rooms were beautiful , clean, mini bar refreshed, huge shower and whirlpool tub. The restaurants and buffets were delicious with theme nights but still great variety for kids. Is like to send out a special thank you with hugs to Sunshine, Candy, and Spice at the kids club! Our kids begged and nagged to go to the kids club every day and made fast friends giving my husband and I some alone time without guilt! The kids performed in the show every night which they loved and brought us to tears! Thanks so much to the staff at the Grand Palladium Jamaica!

Not good for toddlers

We just got back and we had a hard time feeding our kids. Ages 3 and 1- we couldn't take food out of the restaurants and there was no room service. So if my children fell asleep close to the meal times we couldn't feed them properly ! Also the first day we got there a lady from the uk yelled at my 3 year old to "Shut It"! He was excited to be on vacation and was jumping up and down ! The staff did nothing :(

It's number one in our heart

The grounds were very well kept. If you didn't want to walk there was always transportation. The la cartes restaurant s were the best we would rank Bubba's grill number one. But the food and service at the others would be ranked up there also. We have traveled in the DR, Cuba and Mexico the food and service was far superior at the Grand Palladium Jamaica. We can recall the first day after been traveling for the last 14 hers we were hungry and tried a young worker likely from the grounds escorted us to the sports bar for food and drinks. He did it out of kindest and wasn't looking for a tip. The maid service was number one they were friendly. The pools are very good. The relax pool great to get away from the noise and younger group. The adult pool the same as the relax pool. The main pool was good lots of lounge rs and shade. The Lady Hamilton side appeared to be for the e older group. The beaches aren't for the die hard beach lovers that would be the down side. The negatives are the time share people beware of "did you receive your free gift" you lose 2 hers of you life for two bottles of liquor. The upside they aren't as bad as

Amazing!

The resort was beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful and the GP had all the amenities anyone could want, no matter what kind of vacation you were looking to have! This is my 3rd trip to Jamaica and 1st to the GP... I will definitely return to GP!

Very nice

The signature Palladium pool was very nice, the grounds were very clean and the beach was a huge disappointment on the resort. Even water shoes will not save you from the rocks and coral that are right on the beach. The resort is so spread out there is a lot of walking, be prepared!

Good Vacation Spot

The destination wedding that we attended was awesome because of the staff, they were great! The hotel seems a bit dated but was clean and had everything that we needed (enough food and drinks). The hotel is going through some much needed renovations and should be great when they are done.

Good Resort

Good value for price. Rooms clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was good. Kids pool area under construction once complete would be great area for the kids. Beaches were nice. Lots of lounge chairs around pool area

Good value

Grounds are lovely and the pool is gorgeous. We knew the beach wasn't very good so we weren't disappointed. If you are looking for good beachfront this is not the place. The rooms need refurbishing. Especially the bathroom. Service was mixed - some was outstanding while some was poor leading to an inconsistent experience. The food was very good - especially the Mexican and Asian restaurants.

Trip of a lifetime!

Everything was nothing short of amazing! I'm still bragging. The resort was stunning! The food was great, we ate very well. Staff were very attentive. We were also able to do many excursions and scratch off things from our bucket list. Heather helped with the booking of this vacation and she's such a sweetheart! I'm still flaunting my tan, I can't wait to be back down south! Great trip!

Amazing Resort

The room was good but the bathroom could use some TLC. The beds need replacing but hey, you're only there to sleep. The service was excellent and we found the Mexican a la carte awesome. Jerk Hut was also amazing. Get to the pool early to get your beach towels. The only real negative I could say was that they were out of towels by 11 am usually and you had to hunt around to different locations to get them. The new waterpark looks pretty cool for the kids and should be completed soon.

Overpriced and overrated

Thanks for the follow up. Sadly this was probably the worst all inclusive vacation I have ever been on... The hotel and amenities were great but the service was horrendous; it seemed like everyone could care less about quick courteous service (except the maids who were great). The hotel was under major renovations so there were a number of closed a'la carte restaurants and those that were opened did not take reservations but only allowed walks in which had a waiting time of two hours. The genera [... read more]l store in the main lobby was the only place that anyone could buy snacks and they were only interested in gouging the guests at the resort. A bag of potato chips is $8 , bottles of water $4, candy bars $4 and that was at the cheaper of the two stores. Going off the resort into town was out of the question as the cab fair was $50 there and back so it would negate any savings. The beaches were absolutely horrible as the sea bed was either covered with weeds of sharp rocks and very shallow. The pool was great however there was a lack of good sunning areas and most of the deck chairs were old. There was not a lot of guest during our visit however on four occasions we were told they did not have any beach towels... Not sure how that was possible. If you want repeat customers you should warn everyone not to book at this resort. After speaking to some of the drivers they even said that the better area is Ocho Rios for beaches and people... Not sure if that would make me ever want to go back to Jamaica, but I know for sure I will never go to that resorts or any of their affiliates. I honestly don't know why this trip should cost me (or anyone) $1725.

Amazing Resort

The Grand Palladium was an amazing experience. The resort is very large and there is so much to do. With many beaches and pools, and the great staff, you're sure to have a good time at the Grand Palladium.
