Beautiful and Enjoyable Resort

The grounds were well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Friendly maids. Lovely swimming pools. Beach had a few weeds and and was not clear water due to waves. We still had fun in the waves just could not see any fish. Lot of variety with restaurants. Food was beautifully displayed and delicious!

Not great

Upon arrival they offered a reduced rate to upgrade to an 'Ocean View' room but it had no view do to a a 3/4 hight wall as barrier of the balcony and a huge palm tree blocking the view, we declined it, but the alternative was a mouldy and dirty room at ground level which we declined and finally stayed at the first room with no extra charge. They didn't have much entertainment or activities for kids, some staff were rude (at spa) others were nice (restaurants). Food was ok. Great resort

We have been to Mexico many times, and this resort will remain one of our favourites. It is a quiet resort without a disco! We were able to sleep through the night. The layout of the grounds is perfect for those with mobility issues. The staff were efficient and friendly. No reservations were required for the a la carte restaurants. The seafood and cheese was especially delicious. Sadly the seaweed wreaks the view, but they do their best to clean it up. Beautiful resort with friendly staff

Hotel beautifully maintained and cared for. Love the smaller size and quick access to the ocean . Staff friendly and very efficient. They upgraded us to a king suite which was huge , clean and quiet . I definitely would come back!

Don't go there!

The hotel was good but not the service; I had to ask everyday for fresh towels which took more than 2 hours to get! And rooms were being clean on demand only with the same sheets placed correctly. There was vomit in the bar pool for two days, no one took the time to clean it. In the buffet staff were taking food for themselves first instead font servicing us. They were always after us for tips , and asking directly if you wouldn't give. The beach was smelly and nasty in our 10days stay, we flew [... read more] with singing, which will never happen again, at the plane I got some items that I never found. People there if it wasn't I theirs interest (commission) they wouldn't help you. Over all I wish I never went there. Please chose a better place!

Beautiful resort

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The grounds were beautiful and extremely clean. The restaurants were clean and the food was pretty good. The japanese restaurant was a great show so don't miss it. There was great entertainment every night.

Best resort we have been too!

This resort is a clean friendly resort. There attention to detail and desire to make your vacation enjoyable is their priority. We loved the pool drink service and Abel was amazing! We will be going back! H10 resorts knows how to give you a great holiday!

Truly a great resort

The rooms where very spacious being there was three beds,belcony was large and private.the food was amazing from breakfast to dinner, no waiting. The pool was great also with some activity daily and also at night there was always something from a musical play to just music. They had vendors come in one night if you wanted to shop. We are ocean people but the seaweed was a detorent. Over all a great week.

Food & Drinks were Amazing

Food, drinks and staff were amazing! Beach was littered with weeds, and worse the effort to clean up was negligible. After day 2 we never went back to the beach and the odour was offensive. Rooms were very nice and spacious. Service was hit and miss. Very clean, but it seemed every day something was missed...coffee refill or hand towels etc. This is the first resort ever that did not do towel ornaments on the bed everyday

Ocean Coral & Torquesa

I really wish we were told about how bad the seaweed is on the beach. I'm not a pool person and had stated that we were looking for a place where we could swim in the ocean. The water was warm and the waves were gentle but we had to wade through the seaweed before we could even get in. The water looked brownish, not turquoise. Other than that the resort was good. Awesome resort!

The resort was awesome, very clean, food was very good and the staff was very nice! I would definitely recommend this resort! The rooms were always cleaned promptly and the night shows/entertainment was amazing as well!

Really nice hotel !

Very clean and well kept grounds , rooms and lobby . Pools are beautiful and lots of room for anyone . Would recommended privelege club as club area is nice and beach area great . Lots of a la cartes , buffet good and Mike’s coffee super! Wonderful staff made for a great time!

Great resort.

The resort was very clean and well matained. The food and staff were excellent. Only complaint was the amount of seaweed and the smell of it. Water was very murky and not tourqouis. They finally gave up on cleaning it. Lovely patio.

Disappointed

We have been wanting to go to this resort for for the last five years. We have stayed at one of their other resorts and we're very happy. But at this resort the rooms seemed dated and their was no dresser to put our clothes away. The closet doors you had to slammed closed or the light In the closet wouldn't go off. There was dried vomit on the tiles around the toilet. And the patio doors were not very secure. And they had a mimi fridge that had 2 beer and pop and water and that was called the mi [... read more]ni bar. The sofa in our first room looked like it was from the dump. Ripped and dirty. We paid for an ocean view and king bed. But we're given 2 doubles and a view of the trees. Front desk just said well you don't always get what you request but I said yes but I paid extra for a ocean view then you should get an ocean view. They did finally move us to an ocean view but why do you have to go through that. All the other staff that work there were really friendly and the food was OK too. .but I wouldn't go back to this resort.

Some good, some bad

Quick trip from airport to resort (less than 30 minutes). However, location of resort was not in place where you could walk into Puerto Morelos. It was over 3 km on busy, narrow road to walk out to main highway to get public transportation. Pubic areas - well maintained, lots of seating Beach - not swimmable due to the large of seaweed. Room - large and clean, but regularly no hot water and lack of water pressure. Pool - little space around the pool (narrow brick area), so the chairs [... read more] are pushed up against each other and cannot be moved. There are very little places to get any shade at the pool and the few umbrellas are not effective. Had to go out at 6 am to get chairs. Activities - very few activities at the resort. The standing activities did not always occur or the stated planned location. Restaurants - food was very good in all restaurants, with the exception of Route 66, which was terrible. Walk up to the specialty restaurants without reservations was great, only a few minutes to get a table.

Great resort!

The hotel was incredibly clean and well maintained. Our room was perfectly cleaned every day.The pools, even the lobby were always looked after by the hotel workers. A special thank you to Miguel who worked his magic with kindness and patience. It was greatly appreciated. The only low point would be the pressure sales tactics for the Premium program which is essentially a time share. We were told it would be informational in the case we would want to go back. It was the only challenge met during our week.

Awesome Resort

Great resort. Pablo, Alehandra and Johnson at the lobby bar are the best. Make you family. The layout of the resort, distance from the airport, internet throughout the resort, amazing staff, excellent food with unlimited ala cart restaurants which you do not have to reserve and clean rooms are all great options that are not offered at many resorts. We would return again ☺☺

Nice resort

The food was good in the Buffet, la Petite Creperie (which you are allowed at but it seems like you are not). The shows & entertainment staff were great. If you’re a wine drinker you’ll be expected to buy wine as the house red or white is horrible. The rooms were real nice & cleaned well daily. I’m pretty low maintenance & I’ve never paid so much for an all inclusive so I expected more. Next time I’ll go back into Playa to a 3 Star & I’ll be better off. Disappointed!

At a glance, the hotel is very pretty. Grounds are very well kept and clean. Service staff are very friendly and work very hard. I feel we paid quite a bit of money ($2,139.00) on the pretense we were to receive luxury service. We paid additional fees for the "Sapphire Club" All inclusive-Ocean view and I'm not sure how it is even categorized. As for ocean view- the only way to view the ocean was to step out to the railing on the terrace and crank your head to the left. When we first checked-in we received a "sales pitch" about upgrading to "Privilege", and we told the cost would range an additional $60-$75 US. per person, per day!! We also discussed meals, since we had paid for all-inclusive, we were told À la carte dinners are unlimited, no reservations required, but when we went to each restaurant, we were told the Privilege had actual reservations, which left us standing, waiting in long line-ups, and or having to go back to our room and order a simple burger & fry! Also, the alcohol provided at this level was less than good, but I was told if I had "Privilege" I would have premium selection or I could purchase it for $5.00 a glass. Our mini-fridge was re-stocked each day with 2 beers and when asked to have 2 each were told, no! So all in all, the weather was great.. and I enjoyed our excursions but I would not return or recommend this resort to anyone.

Amazing week!

Loved mostly everything about this resort. Food was amazing. Had to wait for the blue moon restaurant for about an hour, but we showed up close to 8pm so kind of expected that. The beach had a lot of seaweed but they were out all day trying to clean it up. Losing battle but they did an amazing job. Had no issues getting a lounger near the pool but we were up by 8am.
