Riu Playa Blanca: Great vacation

Over all, we had nice vacation .Weather was incredible, area has nice walking beaches, not far from the hotel. No complains on variety of food, not too much, but very tasty. Great quality of fruits and vegetables, always fresh fish. Perhaps service require some improvement, especially waitresses with bringing any drinks during meals.

Riu Playa Blanca: Amazing resort

The hotel was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and clean. Had 2 minor issues and the problem was fixed within an hour or less. Pools were busy. It was good to see life guards making sure children stayed out of the adult pool. They maybe should put more signs going into the adult pool. Staff was always cleaning. Very friendly.

We had such a wonderful time at the resort. The food was amazing and so was the cleanliness of the place. The only problem was that one of the pools bleached my bathing suits. Other than that, we had a great time.

THIS PLACE HAS AN EXCELLENT LOCATION. WITH GREAT SERVICES, WITH GOOD GRUB. HAS FANTASTIC OUTTINGS AND WITH SOCIAL PERSONEL. GREAT PLACE TO STAY. THAT IS VERY SOCIAL AND A TON TO DO. HIGH CLENLINESS. WITH EXCELLENT DAILY CLEANING. FRIDGE IS ALWAYS FULL!

Grand Decameron Panama: Great resort

All areas were well kept. Clean. Food very good. Always a variety available. Rooms very comfortable and clean. We had upgraded our package, that way we had a fridge in our room which was stocked daily. Only little issue is that employees speek minimal English so a good time to practice your Spanish.

Riu Playa Blanca: Amazing Resort

The resort is very nice. The food is great. Very friendly workers. Room very spacious and clean. The beach is not the best though. The water is not very clean and we had to get away from the jelly fish. The resort could use more elevators. We had quite a walk from the elevators to our room. The only other alternative was to take the stairs that were closer to our room but we had to climb 79 steps to get to the 4th floor. All in all, we had a great time

The Buenaventura Golf and Beach Resort: Amazing Resort

First time in Panama and it was such a wonderful experience at Buenaventura Golf & Resort. First I will start with the one con and then move on to the amazing pros! The only con we had was just the overall clarification on what the package included as it was stated 'Almost All Inclusive'. The first few days we had to just make sure and clarify with staff that what we were ordering was included in our package. It was stated on the welcome sheet, that items not included would be clearly marked on  [... read more]the menu, however it wasn't. It's not the biggest issue, however I feel like this should be corrected for future guests. NOW onto the amazing positives: The hotel was very clean and there was staff at all hours available to clean your room, make up your bed, bring fresh towels, etc. The food was very good!! Great portions, good options at all three restaurants. The only downside, the breakfast buffet was tiresome after day 3, nothing new, same food daily -- if you are visiting the resort not at an inclusive package, its not worth the 25 USD/person for the breakfast. (Back to the pros) The staff was super friendly, as the week went on they really got to know you and your preferences, they were great to us the entire stay, a few staff members however only spoke Spanish so there is a bit of a language barrier, but not a big issue for us. Lastly the views of the pool and beach were so AMAZING!! We went during a slow period for the hotel so there was plenty of room at the pool and beach and just taking in the surroundings was just gorgeous!! We will definitely return in the future to Buenaventura, maybe stay in one of the villas near the beach, would definitely try a different experience with them! Thank-you to the hotel staff for a wonderful vacation!

Doubletree by Hilton Panama City: A great way to start our holiday

We found the rooms to be comfortable, spacious, clean and enjoyable. The hotel itself was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the poolside restaurant. The food was delicious, the service very personable and the ambiance delightful. The morning buffet was also ample and delicious.

Great ocean view from our room Friendly staff, great meals with plenty of foods to choose from ! Excellent entertainment and overall atmosphere ! Resort personnel works constantly to maintain the cleanliness the 5 star requires We had a Panama Canal tour that was well planned and very informative ! We will come back !

Nice resort that is very clean ! Grounds are well maintained. Lots of pools ! Nice staff and very safe environment. Good resort for families Rooms are a little dated but still functional No drink service at the beach though..

Dreams Playa Bonita Panama: Nice Resort But...

This is a purposefully designed, nice size, but rather an old resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful, however we got an impression that there was not enough personnel (i.e. the room's mini bar was refilled sporadically, constant line-ups to the only bar by the pool area). The other problem was a bad quality audio system playing loud and squeaky music in crowded pool area. Our major disappointment was food; both the quality and the restaurants. Breakfast menu was very limited and offere [... read more]d food of poor quality. Although there are four restaurants there, the best one was opened only sporadically. This resort is advertised for its beach but the water is murky and the low tide renders it practically un-swimmable and unsafe with plenty of sharp rocks exposed. Another serious issue was the package misleading advertising. The description did not mentioned an almost three hours transfer from the remote Rio Hato airport. A good thing is that the resort is located only a few kilometers from Panama City. This allows for visiting the city and the Panama Canal.

The hotel, grounds and pools were very clean and modern. Rooms were modern, adequate and spacious but the only place to put clothes was the closet— no chest of drawers. Staff were always polite and friendly, at times the dinning rooms were short of staff and service was slow. Communication was lacking as to what venue the buffets were being served in, it would have been nice to have a schedule or signage indicating location. Service at the pool was excellent

We had a great time at this resort. The rooms were nice &cleaned everyday. The grounds , pool & beaches were also cleaned on a daily basis. Lots of walking on The resort. The food was very good. The service from the employees were excellent. The resort is very close to the ocean. Only problem was for meals you never knew which place to go. No posting of meals but you can book a la carte. Doubletree by Hilton Panama City: Beautiful hotel

Our room was beautiful. The staff were very friendly even though we didn’t speak the same language. We are from Canada and this was our first time in Panama. It was a great first experience . The waitress in the evening was very helpful with food selection and translating her best. The following morning the gentlemen outside were very helpful with our luggage and helping us find out taxi.

Grand Decameron Panama: Excellent time!

We had a great 11 days at the resort. The buffet food is great, the alacartes were excellent. The weather averaged 33 degrees. The rooms were clean and cool with a/c. Well kept grounds and beaches and the staff was very friendly. We were only 10 mins from the airport. Will definitely go back!

The resort grounds were beautiful with amazing large mature trees and flowers and they were all very well maintained. All staff were very friendly, saying hello anytime you walked by. The bar staff were quick and friendly, even when they were busy! The beer tent on the beach is a fantastic idea to take the pressure off the bartenders for people who just want beer and great for people who just want beer to not have to stand in line at the bar. The food was acceptable with a great salad bar and wonderful fruit selection. There was always plenty to choose from and none of our group (15) went hungry. The beach was great with lots of loungers. It was such a long beach it was great to walk it every day. The sand was a little coarse but felt kind of good on the feet. If there weren't so many other places in the world to visit I would definitely return to this resort.

We loved Riu Playa Blanca. The food selection was the best we've ever had at an all inclusive. Staff were very friendly and most could speak some English. The grounds were beautifully kept. The room was really nice but our room had a bath/shower combination and the bath was deep for short people. A fantastic resort...would definitely recommend.

this was such a beautiful place we had a ground floor ocean view and it was perfect the housekeeping staff was amazing and courteous the food was great especially at the a la carts (although the one was always booked up and there seemed to be preference given to guests that had been there before or were regulars ) I also found that the entertainment staff was not as engaging with guest with children and we were never aware of anything that seemed to be going on but that being said the r [... read more]esort its self was kid friendly and lots for them to do but on a whole we had a great vacation and would recommend this place
