Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort

This resort is the most amazing resort we have ever been too. Check in was smooth the staff is amazing the rooms are spotless and the food was great. Earl our butler made our vacation he was the best. We have already booked this resort again in March 2026.

Royalton Punta Cana Resort: Review of Stay from Sept 27 to Oct 3rd 2025- Royalton Diamond club

Hotel, accommodation, grounds, beach, food, staff was all excellent EXCEPT THE BATHROOM Bathroom OLD and not to standard. Sink was spewing water on the mirror when tap was running. *Shower: MOLD and Mildew, dirty looking. When taking a shower, water leaks out to the floor. Needs to be totally refinished to be acceptable. Toilet, bolts were missing the cover and it was black and nasty looking.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Mediocre resort

This is definitely not a 5 star resort. Not very good amenities.rooms were a little dated.nickel and dimed for everything. No activities for kids outside the lazy river.definitely overated and will not be going. Back

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Would not return

I didn’t enjoy this hotel at all for the following reasons: - I found it dirty and not spik and span. Floors were grimy, doors were worn out and grimy which could be fixed with a fresh coat of paint - the pools had a film and debris in them. I don’t see anyone cleaning them the entire time I was there - the food was horrible, even for Cuba. - the washrooms lacked hand soap and paper towels. Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Pleasant Experience

We stayed at this resort in September 2025 for our honeymoon and over all it was a very pleasant stay. The staff is super friendly and the resort grounds were amazingly well kept. The food and restaurants were very good as well we only wish they were open more. The beach and pool are very beautiful as well..though we’d suggest some netting over pool bar roof raptors as there was lots of pigeon droppings hanging down above the bar. Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Nice resort

The hotel is nice but too much mosquito. The food is correct in anyway it’s Cuba. The beach is wonderful and the service is perfect. We have a nice week of vacation. I will return to this resort for the next vacation.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Great Waterpark for Kids!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Royalton Splash this September 2025. We upgraded to Diamond Club and enjoyed the perks. They had a separate check-in area for DC members that had A/C, snacks, drinks, and a bar with top-shelf selections. Our Junior suite was very spacious located in building 27. We were assigned one butler which delayed services however, he did a good job. The main pool always had great entertainment and games to get everyone involved. The Waterpark was a great time for our 13 [... read more] and 8 year old, us parents had a ball as well! The waterpark has tons of seating and doesn't allow food inside which helps keep the park clean. The buffet was below mid with not much selection to choose from. I suggest shuttling to Royalton Punta Cana as their buffet is much better. Under the Sea, ZEN, and Mexicana Cantina are the restaurants we enjoyed the most. The steak at Under the Sea was better than Hunter's Steakhouse. The night entertainment at Royalton Splash was great with magic shows, Karaoke, trivia, dancing, and much more. We had a great time on our excursions and highly recommend the Monkey Sanctuary and the Seaquarium. The Shuttle to Royalton Punta Cana was very frequent however, seats fill up quick! The beach is a short shuttle to Royalton PC(2-5 mins), walk straight through the resort and you are at the beach(less than 15 mins) On the DC side of the beach, there was a lot of seaweed which we were not fans of. Overall the service should improve at Royalton Splash however this is a good resort for families.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Very nice overall

Staff are amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Food was quite good in the a la carte's and the buffet. Beach is beautiful and clean. Pool was clean and warm. Mosquitoes were really bad, likely the worse we have ever experienced in the Caribbean. Be sure to bring insect repellent. No air conditioning in the buffet which is disappointing. Our room never got below 22 degrees but the ceiling fans work well to keep you cool. This was our 2nd time at Royalton Hicacos.

Most beautiful resort in Varadero, came here for second time, last time was in August 2024, very nice staff , nice upgraded rooms close to the beach,delicious food and drinks.My favorite is bistro Cafe as it's opened 24 hours serving tasty coffee or cappuccino with options for sandwiches and delicious pastries

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Very Nice Resort

The resort is very clean and well-maintained, which was great. However, the food was a bit repetitive, with little variety between days or even between lunch and dinner. We stayed for a week and only saw one show, so the entertainment could definitely be improved. Additionally, communication was a bit unclear at times. For example, one evening we didn’t have a reservation at any à la carte restaurants, only to find out that the buffet was closed that night. We managed to find another option, but [... read more] there were several instances where information wasn’t communicated well. One major disappointment was that we requested earlier to be close to another couple we travelled with and discovered that the request was not accommodated. The resort was not even half full. When we asked if we could be placed closer to the couple we were traveling with, we were told it wasn’t possible. However, we were then informed that if we gave a $50 tip, they would accommodate our request and provide us with rooms close to each other with an ocean view. This left a very bad impression, and I was quite disappointed by the experience. For this reason, I don't know if I would come back. :(

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Enjoyable resort

Very clean resort, with modern rooms and technology in wrist bracelet to unlock room doors. Many excellent restaurants, along with coffee, ice cream pastries shop. Also many different pools along with lazy river, water slides, and of course nice clean beach areas.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Complete disappoint, AVOID

I've been to Cuba 15 times,this was my 16th trip. Complete disaster I paid same amounts for other hotels but gigantic difference between this and the others bad room service dirty rooms which were not cleaned every day cockroaches in room as for the food it was a complete disaster restaurants same problem breakfast was okay but the rest were terrible ,unfortunately I ruined my well-deserved trip by going to this hotel . To top it all I had to pay almost $110 baggage fee back and forth . Please b [... read more]e aware of going to this hotel or reserving with WestJet because there're hidden fees . Unfortunately in the reviews you have to put one to five stars if there was negative star I would put it.

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun: Good hotel but very large, prefer smaller one next time

Check in could be better organized, as it did not have enough staff on. Grounds were lovely, one pool was not accessible for someone with limitations & other pool was too noisy. Fortunately we had a swim up which suited us perfectly & very quiet. Buffet had a great choice of food, but preferred a regular restaurant & have a choice of menu which we went to. Our room was fine but sliding door was very heavy to open & close. Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Disappointed

The hotel was nice unfortunately it has changed dramatically since my visit in 2020. The resort is to small and limited restaurants to incorporate a diamond club. We never had our mini fridge restocked after asking several times. Also wrote a bote and placed it in the fridge. We never had our pool towels changed and a limit on bath towels. We had issues with our safe also had a leak in our ceiling. I know Cuba is known to have limited food but unless you were diamond club it seemed very limited for a five star hotel. Also seen favouritism amongst different people. Had to ask for everything nothing was offered. In the past everything was explained and clear as to what was included with our stay. This time it took two days of complaining to our butlers to get anything we wanted or needed. When I spoke to different people about the drastic change in the service since 2020 I was told the hotel was under new management. We had six in our party and we made the best of it. The beautiful beach and hard working staff did their best to make our stay a memorable one. I feel bad that I highly recommended this resort to my family because of My past experience only to be sadly disappointed.

The food in the buffet is mostly same every day and when you try to book a restaurant for dinner always unavailable, the price this resort charges are completely insane , I will not recommend anyone to this resort.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Had great time!!!

Royalton Bavaro was amazing! ?✨ The staff were super friendly and made the whole trip feel special. The food and drinks were decent, but honestly, everything else totally made up for it! Pro tip: If you’re getting any extra services (like spa, excursions, etc.), either pay right on the spot ? or make sure they charge it to your room ? so you can settle it all at checkout. Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Wonderful staff and location

Beautiful resort. Grounds are lovely and well maintained. The size of the resort is great if you like small and short walks between amenities. It was quiet which was also our preference. The rooms are very nice and well looked after. Our room cleaner was amazing. Also, our butlers Javier and Maria were exceptional. Genuinely caring and helpful. Most of the staff were fantastic. The beach is absolutely spectacular. You cannot beat it. There were always plenty of chairs and help to get a spot/set  [... read more]it up. Massages on the beach were a treat! This resort would be perfection if not for the food. We had higher hopes for the Royalton. The food was not only often inedible but we got very sick on our return. I hope that this can be rectified - we would go back time and time again if we had more confidence in the food. Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Terrible resort

There was hardly any fruit to eat. No lettuce or salad or any food for a vegan other than beans. 2 of the workers brought me fruit from their home town yet the resort had only papayas and once gave me a tiny plate of mangoes and underripe watermelon. Star fruit and Guava were very bitter. Orange juice tasted like powdered Tang with sugar and water…there were no smoothies or fresh juices available. Butler upgraded us to a diamond member for free which made absolutely no difference other than bein [... read more]g able to use the beach restaurant for breakfast and lunch and sitting on the right side of the beach. Maids could not provide clean towels, hand towels,floor mats or beach towels when requested as they said there was a shortage. Room service brought coffee in small plastic cups and said there was a mug shortage. The 24 hour restaurant ran out of fries and pizzas on a daily basis and seldom had any ketchup. Enclosed Restaurants were infested with flies all over the food and buffets. The mosquitos were really bad that my group bought some repellent at the market which was very expensive. The beach was awesome and the beds were comfortable and the sheets were changed daily. Expect to have a few large cockroaches sneak into the room along with geckos. The adjoining rooms can get very noisy depending on who your neighbours are. Entertainment was a hit and miss every evening although my 88 year old mother enjoyed watching them. The modelling show at the beginning of each show was to sell beach coverups which are more than half the price at the local market. The staff were all friendly and tried to help whenever they could but their hands were tied from shortages or late shipments….we weren’t sure of how or why there were no towels, or food shortages and mug shortages.

Royalton Grenada Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort

Gorgeous resort, Grenada people are one of the most friendliest people you will ever meet. The beaches are so beautiful. The food n entertainment was just ok. I didn't like the fact there was no elevator to get up and down. The resort seemed very hot n humid in the lobby area n some restaurants. But overall amazing n beautiful. Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun: 10/10 holiday

Grounds are amazing. Tons of activities for kids. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. The food was excellent all week with great variety. Zen Teppanyaki and MA Maison were our favorites. The gym and free fitness classes are super. I lived sunrise yoga. You can take out kayaks, paddle boards and hobie cats. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. I highly recommend Royalton Splash.
