Hidden Gem in Cayo Coco

The Pullman Resort has been restored to its glory after the hurricane that hit there. The staff are professionals. Checkin was a breeze. The arrival to our room was quick and well organized. The room was spacious and very clean. Having a shaving kit and toothbrushes with toothpaste is an unexpected touch. Well done. The restaurants are very nice, well laid out. The bars were plentiful and fully stocked with every known liquor. Staff were quick to help and spoke English very well. The pool areas were very clean. Lots of places to sit. The entertainment staff were very enthusiastic and were good at their job. Get up and participate and you will have more fun than you expected. Mia, Youris, Lady, Betty, Richard and Genie in a bottle and Junior did a great job. The night entertainment was excellent as well. The rock show was well worth the 5 encores we gave them. The Michael Jackson show was as if he was on stage for us. We will definitely be back to Pullman Cayo Coco. A great week.

Great times at Pullman Cayo Coco

This was our second time around at Pullman Cayo Coco and we loved it. Renovated and expanded services since hurricane Irma. Very good and curteous service staff in the Collection adult section. Food was very good and selection also. Beach ocean and hotel surroundings are beautiful combined to a 15 minute drive from airport. Would definitely go back and recommend to Friends for easy going vacation

Great vacation!

We went to The Pullman from July 8-15. It was clean, the staff super friendly, found lots to eat but the best part was the incredible beach and ocean. Lots of cabanas and fun activities. Highly recommend this resort.

Very impressed !!!

We really enjoyed our trip. First of all, it was great to be the first ones off the bus when leaving from the airport (15 minutres). We had an oceanfront room with a great view. We usually upgrade to the adult side of resorts but did not feel we needed to here. This is not a huge resort so everything is like two minutes away. Very nice pools although we mainly stayed at the beach. There is a side of the beach with activities and a more quiet side. We really enjoyed the resort and Cayo Coc [... read more]o. Fantastic Vacation!

The Pullman Cayo Coco resort is simply stunning. The lobby and grounds are very modern and classy, the rooms are clean and well kept. The pools are great for both adults and children. The beach is breathtaking. Crystal clear blue water and white sand. The staff are very friendly and helpful, special thank you to Omelio at the pool bar for always being happy and making sure everyone was always taken care of. For Cuba the food was good! Nice resort , but ....

First thing it comes to my mind is TERRIBLE service. No matter if it was a bartender, housekeeper, cook, waitress or chef ... all of them seemed very unhappy and very miserable. I’ve been to Cayo Santa Maria 4 times and this time I wanted to experience a new place (Cayo Coco) . In Cayo Santa Maria service was just incredible amazing . I have to admit - desserts were really tasty. Resort pretty clean and taken care of . Pools nice and clean. Rooms very nice . Only problem I had when I checked in, I got a room with one king size bed and sofa ... everything would be great , but I payed for 3 adults( no couple though) . Beach LOOKS nice but make sure you take water shoes with you! Many broken sea shells ! I would not recommend this hotel because of the horrible service and terrible food .

Lovely Resort

This resort was nice for a cheap getaway. The rooms were nice and kept very clean. Staff were all very friendly. Food was typical for Cuba. Plenty of it but some of it not very good quality. However the specialty restaurants were excellent. French was our favorite. Service in there was amazing and the three musicians were very entertaining and talented. Could play anything!! We had some issues with the water pressure. We could not flush our toilet for the first day and a half and the [... read more]n we were upgraded to another room. It seems this is sometimes a problem.

Nice resort

Food is amazing, they had everything we needed, there were always chicken, pork, beef, fish,shrimps, calamari and mussels on the grill for lunch and dinner Pasta station was good as well They had a nice smoothie station for breakfast with all kind of fruits Room: was not as great as in the pictures Lobby : is a very nice area to relax and have a drink with the amazing beach view Mosquitoes is the worst thing there even though we sprayed off

Only public washrooms need more cleaning. Special bay swimming pools and bars. I never had problems with towels. Food was ok. Staff are super very friendly special entertainment staff Charlie, Choco, Amazing Amhed, Baby Junior and Dairel.Thank you gays for having god time. See you soon.

Wonderful vacation!

We had a restful and relaxing vacation at The Pullman. Loved the layout of the resort and the constant breeze, especially in the lobby area and lounge. Although a few improvements are needed it didn't impact our trip. It did seem as though there were rations in place however as you couldn't always get things regularly as they would run out of the products such as fresh fruit, mint etc.

Amazing resort

We stayed in building 24 with partial ocean view room, the view was amazing!!! Special shout out to Reny and Arielles (spelling?) who made our vacation a 10/10!! They absolutely went above and beyond our best expectations with service at the cafe by the snack bar, we now have 2 new friends in Cuba and can’t wait to go back and stay at this wonderful resort and see our new friends again 💙😎. The beach was the best I’ve ever been too, no problem to find a shaded area to enjoy the ocean. Go to the main lobby for THE BEST CAPPUCCINO ☕️ with a beautiful view from the patio.

Family vacation.

We went as a family of 6 to celebrate a birthday and 2 graduations. The Pullman is a good resort for all kinds of travellers. The beach was beautiful and the grounds were keep very clean. The food for Cuba standards was very good, the live entertainment was great we watched 3 shows. The rooms were cleaned every day, there was always clean towels and our fridge was restocked everyday. Now for the downside of The Pullman, the front desk service was poor, the rooms were assigned incorrectly and it [... read more] took 2 days out of our vacation to fix their mistake ,, and they never apologized . Alot of the staff could not speak English , for a resort that rates itself as a 4.5 the communication was very lacking. I will end my review by saying we had a great time.

Great stay at Pullman Cayo Coco

First off the beach at Pullman Cayo Coco is amazing! The food was very good; not upscale, but always a nice variety and the staff at the main buffet was outstanding. Fun drinks, great "café con leche" at any time of the day. The pool was not my ideal but we spent our days by the crystal clear waters at the ocean.

Good resort to stay

Excellent swimming pools, grounds needs attention, poor to no grass, fences need mending pathway to and from facilities and beach poor, lobby elevator in poor shape for most of the week was not operational. Beach towels old we received one set with a hole and in another occasion with bleach stains. Found snack restaurants table mats with stains on several occasions. Ground tiles broken and chipped . Overall good!

Beach is beautiful, staff are friendly and food was decent - lots of options, bbq snack bar on the beach was awesome..resort was not super well maintained and you can tell it’s starting to require lots of maintenance but overall one of the best resorts I have been to in Cuba- entertainment staff were awesome including the shows and the lobby was cool to hang out in - Loved how the lobby was raised and could see the entire resort - I just wish the cleaning staff were a little more thorough wi [... read more]th their cleaning! Overall Disappointment

The resort itself is very nice and the beach is beautiful. This was our first experience at a family resort as 2 adults we usually travel to adult only resorts. To our surprise the kids weren't a huge issue of course there were times at the swim up bar where they were annoying as the parents were drinking and they were running around but most of the time not a big concern. The rooms are updated most of the staff is very nice and if you think a big BUT is coming you are very right. During our 1 [... read more]4 day stay this resort ran out of beer, vodka, wine, fries, ketchup and the most important for a hot destination they ran out of ICE. Yes several bars on site ran out of ice. I cannot stress enough how horrible it is to drink warm drinks, when they had those drinks that is. The strangest thing is you could walk across the resort and get ice at one bar or another but they wouldn't bring ice or beer or vodka to the bars that were out. Such a simple thing, you run out at one bar you get a truck to bring it over to another bar. Lack of service IMO. The line up at the bar at peak times is unacceptable. Management needs to staff the resort properly. There is a general lack of staff at key times. Check in, late night snack bar, all bars all under staffed. The toilet paper situation is ridiculous. Most times there is none in any of the public bathrooms. They have a beach party with 150 people and lock all the closest bathrooms make you walk across the resort and none of the 6 bathrooms have toilet paper. When I go to the front desk I'm told to go back to my room to use the bathroom there. No joke. How hard is it to stock TP. The rails on the walkways to the beach are in such a sad state several guests fell thru them and injured themselves during our stay. We heard during our stay they were fully booked but I feel they must know this before guests arrive and adjust accordingly. During our excursion we spoke to guests at other hotels and they had no issues with beer liquor or food concerns, which leads me to believe this is a management issue not a supply issue. The pools are very dirty and the swim up pool bar is borderline dangerous with missing and sharp tiles throughout and on the stools. It was horrendous. The pizza at the snack bar is terrific and those guys are the hardest workers in the resort. The a la carte food was also very good and the cappacino was wonderful. However overall I would never recommend this resort to anyone based on our experience.

Amazing

This was an awesome place to go. Evening entertainment for every taste. Staff very courteous and welcoming. Not a lot of selection in buffet but the food actually had taste and was very good. Never experienced good food like this in Cuba. Pools are extremely clean and beach was to die for. Amazing beach. No need to save place at beach as there are more than enough shade and chairs.

Pullman Cayo Coco

This vacation at the Pullman was fantastic.This is our 5th time at the resort and everything was wonderful.I have not one negative thing to say.The beach,room,food,staff was all amazing.Truly home away from home.We will certainly be returning.5 star in my books. I will recommend by word of mouth

Fantastic Vacation

Resort is nicely laid out most rooms are a comfortable walk almost anywhere. Food was good. However very similar items every meal. Drinks were great. Busy nights at the main lobby could have used more servers or bartenders. Lobby entertainment every night. Shows were very good. Talent was much greater than most resorts. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Beach was huge always chairs. Need more shade areas at pools. Not alot of options if you wish to go off resort.
