Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Great As Always!
This was our 14th trip to the Royal Decameron Complex. As always, the staff are friendly; the food and beverage is good; the entertainment is excellent; the grounds are manicured; rooms are clean and comfortable. Needs a bit of work regarding a-la-carte reservations, and their house wine could be upgraded. We'll be back.
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very impressed by this resort, amazing.
Had an incredible time, everything was above my expectations. Value for the price was excellent. The grounds were well maintained, rooms were spacious and comfortable, staff were very nice, food was great, definitely going back.
Casa Velas: Wonderful Resort
You won't find a better resort for adults. It's luxurious, peaceful, safe, friendly and the service is excellent. The food is absolutely superb...no buffets...and two fine restaurants to choose from. There is a spa, a gym, yoga and cooking demonstrations. Tennis courts are a short walk away at their sister hotel or you can take their shuttle bus which will also drop you at their private beach club ...the hotel is set on a golf course. It's 5 minutes from the airport and a 20 minute cab or bus ri [... read more]
Barcelo Gran Faro Los Cabos: Just amazing
Great food and hotel has great amenities including sushi bar and sky bar. Can easily walk to grocery store or nearby bars. Just an amazing vacation. People who complain about wait times or other minor inconveniences need to relax. If you want to be near all the clubs in Los cabos stay in the other side of town - it is a $45 US cab ride.
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Outstanding staff, resort and service !
We stayed at this resort from Feb. 2-9th. Outstanding staff, resort and service. We could not ask for anything more. Staff were plesant and respectful and attended to all your needs and wants. Transportation from the airport and Check in was flawless. No issues at all. We stayed in villa #53 (close to main lobby). Grounds and beach are kept immaculate. No debris or unkept areas. Akumal Beach is excellent for snorkelling. Lots of chairs available to all guests. Drinks provided and delivered to yo [... read more]
Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Good service
This Eco friendly resort was nice, staff were friendly. This would be a good resort for younger kids as there are lots of activities to do - like plant a tree, snorkel in the river and take a tour of the Mayan ruins on site. The beach is rocky though and not great for swimming. Seemed to be lots of beach chairs around the pool and on the beach. Food at the buffets and restaurants was ok but not always hot
Riu Emerald Bay: Beautiful Resort
Resort was well maintained, service was amazing and the food was great. The beach was very clean, all of the pools where amazing and very clean. The bartenders had a vast knowledge of specialty drinks which was very impressive.
Grand Oasis Sens: DIRTY RESORT
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read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great resort
The resort was what was promised. We had a great 10 days there. The food was great .The room was a bit smaller than we had anticipated from the brochure we did not spend a lot of time there as it was for the most part sunny and we wanted to spend time in the sun.
Grand Isla Navidad Resort: Best of the best
This is my second time to this resort. It really is the best of the best. The rooms are clean, up to date and maid service 3 times a day. Food is mostly of a menu with lots of delicious choices. Breakfast buffet better than all the other resorts . Antnios is just fantastic, roast duck, rack of lamb its all a taste treat and you are treated like royalty. The pool area is perfect for everyone including children with some very nice water slides and hot pools, and for a special treat there are 2 hid [... read more]

the grounds were unbelievable nice structure and design. the food was top notch. All restaurants were clean and neat, well set up, the staff were friendly and great to talk to and entertaining. The entertainment was great at night and during the day the staff offered a variety of activities.
Barcelo Maya Palace: Fabulous resort
Amazing room, property and food. Especially loved the French restaurant at the Palace. The staff were friendly and the food amazing. The beach was huge and the water warm. The evening shows were fun and they did a huge spread for Superbowl Sunday!
Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Amazing family vacation
This resort exceeded our expectations. The staff was always friendly and provided excellent service. The food was good. The buffet was the best we've had at an all inclusive. There was always a great variety of fresh food available. The grounds were immaculate. We would go back in a minute.
Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: Very good location!
This was a nice small hotel right in the middle of town. It's within walking distance of pretty much everything. Food was good. The service was hit or miss. All in all a good place to unind foe a couple of weeks!
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good time had!
Rooms were good and had lots of room for a family of 4. Only had one issue where room wasn't cleaned one or clean towels provided. Mini bar pretty good. Resturants- buffet had lots of selection, we tried 3 al cartel and enjoyed them all. Bar service could be slow at times and the odd time bartenders were not overly pleasant. Pools at Coba were great, very big and the kids enjoyed the splash pad. Coba was super busy, it I were to return I think I would stay at Tulum or Akumal section, little more [... read more]
Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: Charming old Mexican style resort
Old but clean spaces, friendly staff, beautiful Mexican art and decorations, good value for the money, a feeling of community, many of the guests were older enjoying togetherness, the food was plentiful, lots of Mexican cuisine, adorable spa area hidden near the far end of the swimming pool. A place to be appreciated for what it is, good enough not to complain about the beach being 5 minutes away, the noise of the big street being constant, the pool being small...
Grand Palladium Vallarta: Pleasant Stay
First impression was disappointing. Main lobby seemed a bit tired, with soiled couches and a sticky front desk. Check in and out went smoothly. The resort has 4 a la carte restaurants; no reservations required, first come first serve. Sometimes had a lengthy wait for the second seating but they had a good paging system when your table was ready. All our evening meals were a la carte and mostly provided good food. Some entrees were too small, so we learned to order 3 entrees for the 2 of us. Buff [... read more]
El Cid Resort Castilla: Great value.
this hotel just keeps getting better and better. One feels like you are really wanted here service wise. The food is great the hotel is extra clean and it seems like renovations and maintenance are always ongoing to make sure everything is in good shape.
Las Brisas Huatulco: Beautiful location!
Loved that this was a spread out resort that meant you could do a lot of walking. Between all the food and drink it was nice to be able to walk to buffets and beaches and rooms. (There are cart shuttles for those not interested in walking.). Resort is in enclosed bay so safe for swimming and snorkelling and no people anywhere who aren't staying at the resort. Definitely noticed a majority of folks were 60 plus and only a few younger or with families - just something to note if you're looking for [... read more]
