Ocean Maya Royale: Superb Staff

The grounds are very well maintained and public areas kept exceptionally clean. Food at the buffet is above average and the specialty restaurants are excellent. Pools are well maintained with plenty of beds etc and pool service is efficient. Only disappointment is the beach (a lot of seaweed) over which the hotel has no control. It is raked daily in attempting to keep tidy. All staff are tremendous, friendly, polite and humorous.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Great time

We had a wonderful time at this resort, the bar staff were amazing and service was excellent. The place was very neat and pretty. The beach was very nice music was good, overall it was a great experience and we would go back.

Playa Vista Azul: Great resort

The resort was fantastic.The staff were very friendly.The rooms were large& very clean .The bathrooms were very modern& clean.The maids were very friendly, fresh sheets&towels every day.The grounds very clean.The food gets repetitious after a while , but good selection

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Great Vacation

We had a wonderful week at Ocean Casa del Mar. The beach was great with plenty of chairs available. Any issues were dealt with in a timely manner. There was always a good selection of food at the buffet so never had a problem finding something to eat. Enjoyed all the coffees at Mike’s Cafe.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Nice location

Thought I would let you know how unhappy we are. So far a very poor experience at our hotel. The sales pressure for future stays is very forceful. The man that approached us was very aggressive and trying to into my purse and our beach bag for the paperwork on the tours we purchased at the airport from the hotel representative who we later found out was not from Ocean Coral and Turqueta. We went for dinner at the steak house last night. Ordered Calamari for appetizer and it was horrible!!!!!! [... read more] We got 3 pieces of Heavily battered and extremely greasy Calamari! I ordered a prime rib steak (medium rare), with a baked potato and got blue rare steak, 3 small slices of cold sliced potato. Brian ordered Beef Ribs with baked potato and he too got 3 small slices of COLD potato. Our server Tony not once came by to check on our meals. When he finally came around we brought the steak and cold, hard and raw potato to his attention but there was no remorse. He offered to have the same steak put back on the grill to cook more!!! I ordered a margarita and hit it in a short plastic glass!!! Very pathetic to go to a steak house and get such awful service and food. We thought since I was still hungry we’d get dessert at the Italian Restaurant and ordered banana flambé. Excited for my dessert only to be disappointed with a very hard bite size banana tart with no taste. After our very poor dining experience we went to the lobby lounge for a drink. I ordered a Martini which arrived in a plastic margarita glass. I asked my server why he brought me a margarita and not a Martini he advised it is a Martini and they didn’t have any martini glasses!! Seriously a 4+ resort and no martini glasses?? They serve drinks in plastic glasses? Our room in situation right outside a road and traffic starts at 5 AM. I’m on vacation and definitely not interested in waking up with traffic at 5:00AM. We wanted to stay away from the traffic noise not in the have a bust road in front of our room!! So far our experience is awful. It is with your recommendation that we came here and are extremely disappointed. I am going to the front desk to see they will move us. Sorry to have to write this email but I felt you should be aware of our negative experience so far. I understand this is not your fault directly but if Trip Central is recommending this hotel then you. We’d to be aware of the hotel. On a positive the hotel was clean and the beach was not crowded. Ocean Riviera Paradise: Very nice and pretty resort

The resort was very clean, friendly and food was good. The front desk needs to learn how to accommodate their just more. Easy to get around. Very picturestique. The pools were very good and entertainment was excellent

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Great resort

Beautiful resort. Very clean, spacious rooms, great restaurants and buffets. Drinks were plentiful. Wait & bar staff very respectful . Cloth napkins were a very nice touch. Food was well prepared. Pools were very nice. Beach was nice but there was seaweed, but was cleaned up every day. Rooms were spacious, clean. Pillows, mattress, towels were great. The only thing that bothered me( personal thing) that there was no door to bathroom although there was a door on water closet. Would g [... read more]o back in a minute.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Amazing resort!

Well kept grounds, staff speak good English, very courteous. Nicest resort Ive ever been to. Food was great, entertainment excellent. Resort not too big, not too small. Rooms were outstanding, I had the best sleeps ever on that bed. Beach was lovely, hard to get a spot under grassy roofed umbrellas. Always lots of chairs at pools but have to get to beach to get good spot.

Ocean Maya Royale: Amazing Adult Only All-Inclusive

We totally enjoyed our experience. The grounds were amazing and extremely clean. As were all the buildings on the site. The food buffet was always filled with anything you could possibly want. Everything was fresh and tasty. The Italian restaurant could use a little more pasta variety and sauces. I look forward to returning one day. The pools were excellent, but unfortunately the water was very rough and the beach was a little murky.

Playa Vista Azul: Fantastic Resort and Staff!

This resort was the best resort we’ve stayed at in Cuba thus far! It was very clean, beautifully decorated, staff were very attentive and it wasn’t so huge that you felt like you had to walk miles from one end to the other. The food was rather good but I heard many complain as always with Cuba but we liked it. You have to consider where you are. I get how Latin culture is a bit more “sexy” and less conservative but this time we literally had ladies on stage in their thongs shaking what mama gave them! Lol They were beautiful but moulin rouge and twerking in your underwear isn’t a family show! So simply just make people with families aware of that. The pools were wonderful and the two beach options were also splendid! We liked the smaller beach the most with the snack bar nearby. The sand was nicer and food and drink were accessible. They could use more umbrellas for those who prefer shade.

The grounds were beautiful and well kept! The staff were amazing and so was the food. We thought it was the best resort that we have been to because the staff were so friendly and willing to help in any way whatsoever!

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great hotel

I was pleased with every aspect of this resort. The room was nice, comfortable and clean. The food was amazing. The staff was great to deal with. The beach was nice but during our stay, the water was rough almost every day. It did not hinder our vacation in any way. The weather could have been better (hotter and less rain) but we cannot control mother nature.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Great Family Vacation at Ocean Sand and Blue!

We were a group of 13 people, older adults, younger adults, teenagers and youngsters and there was something for everyone... The kids club (called the Daisy Club) was great with outdoor climbers, a trampoline and a club house set up for various activities. The teens enjoyed playing video games, bowling and foosball at the teen club. The food at the resort was really good, no one got sick, the drinks were great but service was mediocre. Overall, I would still recommend the Ocean Blue and Sand as long as expectations are not set too high.

Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: Excellent resort

Very clean, grounds and pools were well maintained. No reef for snorkelling. A la Carte were terrible other than Brasília gourmet. Excellent piano bar band. Entertainment above average. Didn’t like the fact you had to pay if you wanted to use the hot tub.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Just like the pictures

This was a really great hotel. My husband put a really thorough review on Google with pictures if you want to see it. I found the hotel to be very nice, newer (built in 2013 I think) great staff and pretty decent food for Cuba (seafood was the best). The beach was beautiful with white sand beaches. We didn't have a lot of sun when we were there but it was because of hurricane Irma that went through not long ago. There is some residual rain and cloudy days, but usually Cuba is perfect in Jan/Feb. [... read more] The best thing about Cuba though, as always, is the people. The staff is always amazing and they have such a beautiful culture. We did a day trip as well to the coal reef and dolphin center which I would very much say is worth going too. Great time, lots of dolphin interaction and wonderful lobster lunch. I would very much recommend this resort.

Playa Vista Azul: Beautiful Clean Resort

The resort was extremely clean - which is always a good sign the staff were extremely hard working and the most friendly staff we have met in Cuba. They always shook your hand - remembered your drink - and made sure you had everything you needed in the bars. The buffet staff were sometimes quite slow to provide you with your water or coffee but once you did have the drinks you were good. The cooking staff were always happy to cook your omelets or pasta to your liking as well. The resort is v [... read more]ery well laid out with the main pool as the entertainment area and the beach area - which was quite small on the one side and quite crowded was kept clean and if you did not like the small area the larger beach was on the other side of the buffs - which was a very short walk away. All in all we had a most excellent stay at the resort with exceptional service and would definitely stay at the Ocean Vista Azul again.

Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: Beautiful resort

We had a wonderful time. The service was awesome, food was great. The specialty restaurants were nice but the food a little bland. The gardens were beautiful and the staff very friendly. The rooms were okay, they were clean but for a newer resort the room seemed a bit run down. The curtains were hanging off, the shelf in the showers was loose, chairs on balcony broken, minor details but noticeable. The main annoyance was the lock on door, the cards would work a few times and then we would [... read more] have to replace the card in the lobby, this happened four times. Other than that, it was a beautiful resort and lovely beach.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Exceptional treatment

The staff was so accommodating and the food was so much better than I expected . My room was so clean and I had the best time . The only thing I didn’t like is the last day I was supposed to have a full day but instead I had to wait at airport for 5 hours cause only one bus from my resort

Food and variety was awesome Coffee shop vanialla latte was out of this world! Great relaxing holiday would recommend. this resort for families, groups and couples The grounds were well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. Nothings really to complain about at this resort.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Amazing resort but...

I have been to several 4 or 5 star resorts and this one was one of the bests in term of quality of amenities, cleanliness, friendly staff, convenience, attention to details and such. I recommend the resort to my friends for sure. However there were two issues that I didn’t like. First was the reservation problem; when we arrived at the resort at 11pm after hours of traveling to check in, they said they don’t have any room available!!! They were going to send us to another resort for the nig [... read more]ht (20 minues from the resort) and ask us to come back the next day to check in!! But after they saw us resisting to leave, all of a sudden they found a room available in the resort and they said it’s because there was a cancellation, we can give it to you now!!! The second issue was the quality of the beach... I was excepting to see a torquise blue beach but what we had was a beach full of seaweeds... which made us spend the whole time by their pools. Other than these two issues, I truly enjoyed my time in that resort.
