Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: A pleasant resort

We had a junior suit which is actually a longer regular room. For two person I guess a regular room gives you the same comfort for less money. Pros: - the resort is clean, the room is clean and well maintained. - the air conditioning is not blowing toward the bed which for me is excellent. - the food is good everywhere but at the buffet is excellent, pay attention you get fatter in matter of days Cons: -the distance from beach to buffet is big and the shuttle system doesn't work properly [... read more]. Iberostar Waves Quetzal: Exceeded my expectations

Hotel Iberostar Quetzal and hotel Tulum are separated by a jungle like setting, with paths winding thru rock, jungle and small waterfalls. Coati, iguanas everywhere, with howler monkeys passing over twice daily. (Or landing on your balcony!) The resort was immaculately kept everywhere, rooms were large with balconies and cleaning staff that were so friendly and accommodating! The beach was groomed daily, clearly making it the best for miles. There are 2 buffets (1 in Quetzal, 1 in Tulum, identic [... read more]al), featured food changed daily, simply amazing and never ran low even for late night dinners. I did not book an a la carte, the buffet had EVERYTHING! With 350 rooms this resort was the perfect size. In building 24 ground level, 1 min to pool, 2 min to beach, 1 min to nightly entertainment which were of high quality. My favorite still the quiet lounge at hotel entrance, the singing left me in awe. There is a quiet pool, the main wrap around pool with hourly entertainment at the far end, kids pool and the cold swim up pool. They even babysit/entertain your kids for a bit, unsure of details, just watched them having so much fun! If you are a smoker just tell them, you'll go to building where your neighbors won't hate you. Mostly it's the staff made my week the best ever, they were amazing. Hit Mexico over 30 times now, at least 20 were at resorts, never hit one a second time, until now, will definitely revisit Iberostar Queztal. Recommendations: Bring a few mx pesos or USD, (tips) don't use the ATM at front desk, you'll pay hard. Hit a bank ATM in Playa off 5th ave, (ATM on 5th ave more subject to breaches) go back, front desk great at breaking large bills to small for tips. Don't hit a bank use ATM. Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Don't waste your money.

The outside is kept neat and tidy, however the rooms are very bad. We had to argue to get moved to a room that had functioning air conditioning and then it didn’t function that well. The beds are made in the rooms but that is all. There is dirt on the walls, doors, trim, and balcony railings and chairs that never get wiped down. I contracted a planters wart from the shower, therefore it was not being disinfected properly. We ran out of toilet paper twice. The cleaning staff didn’t refill  [... read more]the holders despite giving her many gifts and money. The food is not good, most of it is cold when it should be hot. I know that most food on resorts is mediocre, however, this was inedible. I survived on bread and pizza. I don’t eat bread at home but that’s all there was. The beach is beautiful of course but they don’t rake it and there is garbage strewn about. I’d say that about 60% of the staff is surly. And I don’t blame them because they don’t have support from Iberostar. I’ve been to many, many resorts and this doesn’t even compare to the worst I was at before this. There is a huge gap from this one to the next worse. There is not free Wi-fi, you pay 1 convertible peso per hour. I could go on and on about all of my frustrations with this resort but I think you get the idea.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Recent stay at Iberostar Paraiso Maya

My family and I recently stayed at Iberostar and we can’t say it enough the place is amazing. From the cleanliness of not only the rooms but the whole resort to the amazing food and drinks. The entertainment team is amazing and they put on great shows and always have activities during the day. The resort is also great if you have kids. Star kids. They have interactive shows that they do with the kids, they then perform in the evening. They have kids water park and programs for them. The pools  [... read more]are amazing, the have a wave pool, lazy river and a great beach and all very clean. They also have a shopping centre if you want to do some shopping. The staff are very friendly and always happy to see you. Also for amenities, you don’t need to bring a thing, they have big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, hair dryer, towels, robe, slippers. We did not see one bug and I have to mention the smell when you enter the lobby is amazing. We highly recommend this resort and we definitely will be returning.

Iberostar Selection Cancun: 5 star

The resort is spotless the food is excellent and the staff are helpful and friendly. The beach is well kept. Highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is about a 10 minute cab ride to downtown Cancún and ideally situated

Hotel Bella Costa: Nice

L’hotel est propre, la plage très petite, la bouffe, c’est Cuba, faut pas trop en demander. Le personnel amical et serviable. L’animation est faible. Mes besoins primaires étaient comblés, bon lit, eau chaude, mais bouffe souvent froide. Est-ce que j’y retournerais, oui mais à très faible prix. Bonne vacance à vous!!!

Iberostar Coral Holguin: First Class Destination

Tranquil and beautiful resort within a resort. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They all face the private Coral pool, which is a few steps away from the rooms. The second floor rooms have very private and comfortable balconies. The rooms come with a male or female "butler" who is available to assist with tasks that would take time away from your vacation (such as booking dining reservations or excursions). The Coral restaurant provides a fine dining experience every day. Maria and the  [... read more]dining staff provide excellent service and high end menu choices (better than most hotels in Canada, IMO). The idea that Cuban food is boring is a dated stereotype. The food is not spicy, but it is tasty. As a bonus, excellent varietal Chilean wines are served with dinner and the bottle is left at your table. If you're in the mood for something different or quicker, there are several choices at the main resort. The Japanese restaurant is fun, but for the most part, you can't beat the Coral. There is daily morning and evening housekeeping service, if you want it. The evening service will replace your beach towels, which is a nice touch. Lots of loungers with proper pads, which avoids the unhappy dynamic you get into at the resorts down the beach where rudimentary loungers are in short supply. There is a quiet reading area off the Coral lobby (with books "donated" by other guests) if you get a rainy day, but there are few of those during winter. We had ten perfect days this year. The weather in the Holguin area is reliably warm all year, so you know what to pack for your perfect vacation. The Coral is an adult-only luxury experience. It does cost a little more, but the Tripcentral format makes it very easy to compare and for my money, the Coral is well worth the extra.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Enjoyed the Resort

Iberostar Paraiso Lindo is a wonderful family resort. Very clean, food excellent, staff friendly, very interactive, beach was excellent, no seaweed so far. Seen they did a lot with children. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Great family resort

My fiance and I came to Iberostar early November for a week getaway. The staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We spent most of our time at the beach and the main pool. The beach was beautiful and well maintained - you will have to swim atop corals to swim and float at the beach, beware of jelly fish as we both got stung. The entertainment crew was great and fun through the day from entertaining beach volleyball and games to pool activities. The resort is big as well so you a [... read more]re able to roam around and walk all over without the need of golf carts to get from point A to point B. Our rooms were great as well, spacious and clean. The restaurants were wonderful as well with plenty of options - would highly recommend this resort for families and young kids as there were a lot of entertainment for kids and lots of families. We had a great time but if you’re looking for an adult crowd, may not be the right resort for you.

We had a great family time at the resort. Pros: Wonderful resort, great shows, beach close to resort and private, good pools. Rooms were good Cons: Food(Bland - no spices) less - no vegetarian option

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Amazing resort

Our vacation at lberostar Grand Rose Hall was for the second time wonderful! Starting with the employees : they all were struggling to please us. We were greeted every morning with smiles and questions about how we feel. They all work very hard. Hotel is very nice and rooms are kept clean permanently. I want to give special thanks to our maids who did such a wonderful birthday room decoration. Our butler Andree was top notch, permanently struggling to please us. We had the opportunity to meet all the managers, even the general manager, which is a lovely young and energetic lady. The food was great at buffet and at almost all restaurants. The only one complain we have is next to the Italian restaurant. They should pay more attention to the recipes and cook properly. The serving is also very slow. The Surf and turf restaurant was perfect from all point of view : the serving, the ambient and the quality. The Japanese restaurant was an other dissapointment. We had to wait more then 40 minutes until the chef came and he was too distracted and made too many jokes about marihuana. The entertainment team was awesome! They were permanently in great shape and always joyful. In conclusion, resort is great and we had a superb vacation. Thank you to all employees for doing such a good job. For sure we will come back.

Everything was amazing! Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. There grounds were well kept and beautiful! They offered plenty activities within the resort. It's like it's own little town. Very safe, and beautiful a wildlife in the resort

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Amazing Beach

We stayed in the over 18 section and the rooms were nice and clean. Our maid Mai was friendly and had a different towel art each day. The pool in that section was quiet and the staff were great. Our favorite part was the beach at low tide. You could walk out to a sand bar at the far end of the beach and see star fish and all kinds of other fish and hermit craps etc. We will be returning to this resort again .

Loved the resort!!perfect for family! We went to celebrate my husbands birthday we Got upgraded to a suite from a normal room! The day of his birthday they brought basket of fruit and chocolate for him in the room which I thought was very thoughtful of them.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: A great experience

Fantastic staff, great cocktails, an amazing beach and a clean pool. Couldn’t have asked for much more from our stay here. The rooms were clean and the rooms were cool to give you a break from the hot sun. The beach at this hotel is extremely clean. There is no seaweed and the water is crystal clear.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: EXCELLENT RESORT!

The property was absolutely clean. The wild life was beautiful. Our room was safe and clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant electives were fun and the buffets were plentiful with options. This was my 6th visit to this resort and not my last.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: The resort was nice and clean

The grounds were always kept clean. The food was good and there was always plenty their waitress were very warm and welcome and the service was amazing. Everything about the resort was great starting from the bed being made and the care that they took in doing it, everyone being welcoming and nice the food was great a large variety of things to eat at lunch, at the buffet for breakfast and dinner we were able to eat well. The vacation was very relaxing we enjoy it very much

Really nice resort with excellent food and very pleasant staff. We liked the gourmet and specialty restaurants. The star cafe is a pleasant surprise, offering excellent coffee and sweets. The room was tastefully decorated and spacious.

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Amazing resort!

We had a fantastic family vacation here (ages 3-60). Hotel was clean. Food was great. Staff was AMAZING! The beach was clean and we had no problems finding lounge chairs. The shows were great. Amazing performers. Would definitely come back to this resort.

Iberostar Selection Holguin: Nice resort

The grounds are big but easy to get around with a little leisure walking and golf carts are readily accessible anytime! The food was good! No complaints and that’s with having a restricted diet. A la cartes were very good! The rooms are great as well! Staff were very friendly from front desk to maid. It’s Cuba not Canada (spoiled?) Only thing that really needs attention is the No See Ums! Very bad for some people!
