Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: Wonderful resort for the price!

The restaurants were lovely and the waiters wonderful. Food was above average for an all inclusive. Pool and grounds were always clean. Beach was close. Needed extra towels and housekeeping delivered them right away and they were warm!

Moon Palace Cancun: Loved Exploring each Palace Resort

Great food. Very Clean. And we totally took advantage of the reciprocal arrangement they offer... allowing us to eat and swim at all six Palaces in the area (too bad they no longer offer the free shuttle service from Palace to Palace). We explored both islands, Cancun, Cozumel and Playa all from our 'home' base of a 'new' Palace for the day.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: wonderfull family resort

Great resort food was very good very friendly staff clean rooms and grounds. this resort has a little extra to offer they have donkeys,sheep,pigs,monkeys,peacocks,parrots,deer etc Great water park for the kids.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: beautiful resort

the desk service was terrible they lied to me many times about the room service not being done till i got mad things needed to be fixed but were not dun till i lost it the biggest thing was the air conditioning never worked

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Average. Good for the price.

Lovely facility, reception area, dining area, grounds, pools and outdoor seating and lounging were great. Every staff member with the exception of one waiter were all super helpful and accommodating. A few down sides, beds were too hard, shower only trickled (should incorporate hand held as well), meals in main dining lacked taste and some meats tough. Being 'all inclusive' should really mean that and not charge for safety box (which is already in the room) and WiFi.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Above expectation

I wish I could get 10 night stay instead of 7. Almost a whole day flight to and back to Edmonton took away 26 hours Beach, food, service were amassing. The room was very spacious and clean. Most rooms do not have balcony. It is bearable. There are much pleasant things to do outside of the room. Lots of hills and stairs, which is a natural way to exercise a bit after eating. Of course having friends with me made this trip perfect. Unfortunately my room on the very bottom floor for few days during [... read more] couple hours smelled when I guess they cleaned sewage piping at night. I had to open windows and as I was alone in the room and at night and on the first floor I was uncomfortable, I could change to another room easily, I just did not want to waste time on moving. Yes, I wish to come back and I will try to get 10 nights.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Amazing Resort!!

This resort has ruined me for travel anywhere else. My husband and I travel at least a couple of times per year. This resort far exceeded any other all inclusive we have traveled to. What takes this resort to another level is the staff/customer service and the food. The staff were amazing. My favorite was Tonatich who brought a paper to our table in the morning and often carried our plates to the table. He went above and beyond to meet our every need. That is impressive with a full hotel of guests. The food in all of the restaurants was amazing. My favorite was Spice, but all of the restaurants were amazing. We didn't get to the Lobster Grill or the Mexican because we had to eat again at Spice, it was that good. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The fridge was restocked daily and if there was something we needed, it was just a phone call away. When we called and asked for something it was delivered immediately and they followed up within minutes by phone to make sure that it had arrived and was satisfactory. There were no negatives. I can't say enough about this amazing resort and the staff. Thank you for an amazing vacation.

Riu Santa Fe: Amazing resort and experience

First off, there have been some bad reviews recently. After being here I have no idea why. So happy we went and ignored the recent bad reviews. Everything was so amazing! We're a younger couple and went for a week. This place has something for everyone. Great food at all times of the day. The buffet has a lot of options. For breakfast, lunch, and supper! The Asian a la carte was our favorite. Plenty of pools and hang out areas. We hung out at every pool different days and the beach as well. The upper area has lots of room and is a little quieter. Good for relaxing days for when you're taking it easy. The lower pools, closer to the beach, are definitely a younger crowd and more of a party atmosphere. This place has 3 swim up bars. So there's really no lack of areas to grab a drink. This is high season for them and there was a lot of people. Much more of a social environment than other resorts we've been to. Which was cool with us. There was still chairs on the beach or by the pools when we needed them. No long line ups for drinks or food. Which is impressive for such a large resort at maximum capacity. All of our service was very good. They were happy to serve us and look after us. Sometimes they were so busy there was no one to seat us at a table at the breakfast buffets. That didn't bother us. We're not so picky that we need someone to pull out our chairs and pour our coffee if they are that busy. We are capable adults. If you are that kind of person, or need them to bring your favorite drinks out to the beach for you, you should be booking at a more expensive resort or the palace next door. The whole place was kept very clean and maintained well. I noticed them painting things that I would have left longer, personally. Cleaning stuff that looked clean anyways. Well done gardening. Just an overall clean, fresh, experience. Keeping things in tip top shape all the time. Not 100%, but more than enough for us, that's for sure. There was sports and activities at different times of the day. Two places to play water volleyball and beach volley ball as well. Saw several nice weddings. Room was great! Very clean. Nice bathroom. Awesome balcony. Large bed. By chance, I think we had one of the best room views in our resort. They did a very thorough cleaning when ever we left the 'clean room please' hanger on the door. Entertainment was good. Not the best I've seen at a resort. But good enough to wander down to see the show for the night. Mostly dancing shows. Extremely talented dancing. Overall the place was amazing and we will never forget it. Most people we had talked to with a lot more resorts under their belts said this was their top choice. And we can totally see why. We will be returning later in life. With a large group of friends if we can. This ended up way more thorough than I expected. But if anyone has questions, I'd be happy to answer what I can. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Fantastic Resort

Not a single complaint. Service, food, cleanliness.... This resort and staff were amazing. The only think that is a good to know is resort is not on the beach (in the jungle) so a bit cooler ... But transportation to the beach is perfectly planned... Every 10 mins , and storage in the room is limited, but room is clean and gorgeously decorated.

Riu Flamingos: Not what it should have been

Sewer back up smell In rooms (6th floor). Mattress cover in pieces (very inconfortable) Very noisy adjacent property mainly at night (south side) Few times we had to ask to have the room done before 4:00pm. (Too busy hotel or not enough employees) Same with restaurant : service very slow even when you see the employees rushing around. Dry and wet food left on supposedly clean dishes. Red flag on the beach for the 14 days stay.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Wonderful place!

Lobby, dining and beach are very good. Kids and teen area amazing. Very clean place. Staff very helpful. Entertainment know their business, show are interesting. Animals are friendly, very good impression

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Perfect Vacation

Without a doubt the Playa Mujeres Excellence held up to its name. Fabulous vacation, beautiful beach and pools. Food was outstanding and the staff always attentive and professional. This was the vacation of a life time. From the moment we entered the gates your made to feel special with the landscapes and tropical paradise. Upon our arrival we were met with cool face clothes and sparkling champagne. Once through a quick check in we were escorted through the building by our luggage carrier Brando [... read more]n who was able to explain the where and when's of our building and directions of everything. Concierge Amurani and Erik were also very accomidating with ensuring that our stay was perfect and that all our needs were met. The restaurants all served amazing meals with a 5 star flare that enhanced the atmosphere to make each guest feel special. At the grill we were met with Martin, Freddie and Angel who made our dining experience enjoyable. Toscana restaurant Alberto and Rigo made our evening with an amazing Italian dinner served with style that befitted royalty. The morning and lunch buffet if you choose to dine there was also just as classy, you were met at the door by Andrea and Monica who again escorted you to a special table and ensured that you had a great dining experience loaded with outstanding choices. All the bars at this resort we were met with friendly smiles and attentive staff. We throughly enjoyed the Martini bar with Hugo and Cesar, each delivering a special form of entertainment with their amazing talent of bar tending and Cesar's acrobatic movements and service. From there we would head for the Cafe Kafe bar outside to be met once again with Diego the bartender, who would always remember your likes, and be served by Virginia or Cecilia the waitresses with quickness and smiles. The Sol Bar near the pool was my favourite, near the hub of the daily entertainment. We were served by Cindy and Julianna the waitresses, bartender Jose. There was never a moment that we didn't enjoy being pampered by the pool. Entertainment was perfect, there was not a day of our 10 day visit that was not for filled. Each area of this resort had something to offer, the elegance of the evenings was my favourite, weather sitting at the theatre or any of the bars music was always outstanding. Events throughout the day could keep you busy if you chose or a pampering at the spa just to relax. I have stayed at the Excellence chain in another country, but without a doubt the Playa Murjeres is the place to make memories and treat yourself to the best vacation ever!

Riu Santa Fe: Not the Swankiest but FUN!

The staff/servers were delightful and very helpful. Great ocean and pools! The view is stunning + you gotta check out Lover's Beach!! Buffet is decent. Avoid "Asian" restaurant at all costs - horrific!! Steak house + Mexican were decent. Terrible plastic sheet on our bed, but we took it off and slept comfortably. 2 out of our party of 6 people had their cell phones stolen.

Allegro Playacar: Enjoyed the Resort

We enjoyed the resort, however the both pools were very cold. The lobby area and all areas of the resort were kept very clean and I like the fact they were using plastic cups that could be re-washed not thrown away. I must admit the room was just OK as on the departure they stated it was a premimun room I would certainly not have paid any extra. Staff very friendly and helpful, Maria our housekeep could not do enough!

Allegro Playacar: A Mexican Dream Vacation at Allegro Playacar

My partner and I just returned from an enjoyable week at the Allegro Playacar Beach Resort Hotel. The resort has well-cared for lawns, palm trees, and gardens. There are two crystal clear pools and a beautiful white sand beach. The accommodations are in two-story octoplexes with thatched roofs. The rooms are bright and clean. The resort truly has the appearance of a Mexican paradise. In addition, its smaller size engendered a family atmosphere among the guests and staff. The food is very good,  [... read more]but it lacked the variety I would like. There were two Mexican buffets, a Mexican à la carte restaurant, a pizza kitchen, and a hamburger barbecue. There was also an Italian à la carte restaurant, but it was difficult to get reservations. The restaurant servers and bar staff are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They seem to enjoy serving and getting to know the guests. Definitely, the resort is an incredible value, a hidden gem in Playacar. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy an excellent Mexican holiday.

Barcelo Maya Palace: Great place for families!

This resort had an excellent beach, pools and waterslide park with plenty of loungers to choose from. Countless activities with the Pirates island and Dolphinaris within walking distance, plenty of places to eat and transport between resorts on the double decker buses was fun too! Clean, safe, awesome! We'll be back!

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Really nice resort

I stayed at this resort with my family. I have 2 young boys. 2 years and 3 months. The resort was very helpful with anything we needed. The food was good. Drinks were ok. It is a very quiet resort. The best part about the place is the staff! Always working always cleaning always repairing. They take great pride in their place and it shows.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: A solid 4+ resort

We were at Blue Bay in 2013 and had a great time travelling with friends. We said we would never go back to the same resort twice, but after trying Cuba last year and seeing Blue Bay priced below $1000 out of Toronto it was a no-brainer...we we enjoyed it even more! So the cons. If you're going just for the beach, go elsewhere. The beach really does suck. You need water shoes and even then there are some big rocks. The water is murky so you can't see to avoid them either. Building 6 has a musty  [... read more]smell to it and is a long way from the main pool. We moved to building 2. The French alacarte was the toughest to book but honestly was out least favorite. That's it for cons! Pro's! The people were so hospitable and friendly, simply wonderful. The breakfast buffet is awesome. Always being replenished, minimal lineups (most I had in front of me at omelet station was four people). The fruit was great, always a variety each day and the people are always cleaning up. The ala cartes were the best we've had (except for the French, it was a disappointment). The rooms were always cleaned, mini bar stocked and fresh towels daily. At the pool, there were always loungers available and never a time you couldn't get a fresh beach towel. Burgers at pool side BBQ were excellent with fresh condiments (fried onions, jalapeno's, lettuce, tomato, pickle, cheese etc) Check in was painless, check out was easy. Great fitness centre and the spa area is excellent. And only 40 minutes from Cancun, so comfortable bus ride. Complex laid out well allowing for some walking after a large meal however you always had the option of taking a shuttle if you so chose. We would definitely return. Dave

Royal Solaris: Amazing resort

We spent a week at Royal Solaris and we love every single day ,we had the best time ever the resort was in great shape very clean.The room so clean and smell fresh and nice.We had a lovely view from our room ocean view .The beach is fantastic very wide ,clean and most importent so quiet.We enjoy every single moment.All stuff are very very nice and very friendly ,Carlos best waiter on the beach and all drinks so good.The shows in the evening are great and don't miss the Mexican night with mariach [... read more]e super.The food delicious in every restaurant ,breakfast wow so many choices for me was perfect omelet with fresh orange juice.The shops with souvenirs amazing specially the jury store .And I have too say the weather was perfect no humid 80-85 F and nice blue sky every single day, and long walk on the beach every morning .We all ready miss the place and We will come back for sure .Great place for vacation .The small town is so couse the taxi cost only 7$ from hotel .

Excellence Riviera Cancun: Loved this hotel chain! Riviera cancun perfect!

Hotel service is "excellence" in all ways, from the staff to management, they made us feel special from the moment we arrived until we sadly had to leave. Great food, 1 heated pool and great beach for swimming and walking to the little town.
