Riu Reggae: Amazing resort!!!!

Best resort ever!!! Amazing entertainment team, food and location. Very clean rooms and resort. Great for singles, couples and people looking to have a fun time. Beach could be a little nicer but water was warm and calm. Very nice pools, both with swim up bars.

Riu Reggae: Fun resort!

Spent 7 days at the Riu Reggae Montego Bay resort. Upon arrival we were greeted with mimosas and quickly checked in. The resort is very nice and modern, spacious while not being too big and has a lot of amenities. We also had access to the amenities at the Riu Montego Bay resort, which was about a 5 minute walk away. The food was great and they had lots of vegan options. One complaint though is I wish they'd have had more late night vegan options other than fruits and dry nacho chips. The rooms and resort grounds were clean, the staff gave great service and the entertainment team was amazing!! They work so hard but they're always smiling and wanting to hang out or play games with you! We're gonna miss the people here! Overall we had a great time and can't wait to come back! Btw this is definitely a party resort so be ready to dance all day and night!

Jewel Grande Resort and Spa: Great Experience

Great resort! Nice location, facilities and good food and service. Very friendly staff! Overall had great time! First time visit and had great time and our family enjoyed the time at the resort. Definitely will revisit again!

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Amazing time

We had a great time,stayed there for a week met amazing people,staff are outstanding I honestly can’t say a single bad thing about the Jamaican people unreal attitude and hospitality,the resort is super clean,food is amazing,drinks are great in the restaurants,lobby & at the pool/beach,they have a good size water park for kids under 8 years old my son loved it (5 years old). SeaGarden Beach Resort: good resort

This was our second time at this hotel in 3 years. We feel comfortable in this hotel as it is small so that everybody remembers you, even the staff after 3 years. The check in was quick and easy, the person helping us with our luggage to our room was very pleasant and told me I look like the funz (Henry Winkler). Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Renewal of Vows

Grounds beautiful - entertainment great - food a bit above average. Not enough A La Carte restaurants to accommodate amount of people. We were part of the Royal group but could only get one a la carte. Beach is man made and sand needs to be topped up - this was very evident when we experienced heavy rainfalls. My husband negotiated a price for the room, offered to put down a holding fee, because he wanted to confirm with me that we were in agreement. He went back 15 minutes later and they had sold the room. We were so upset, our guests had to go back to Kingston, which meant that they had to leave early and missed the rest of our celebration - no one cared or seemed to be accountable. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Nice rooms dirty hallways

The rooms are lovely but some of the lady staff have adittude waiters not attentive to offer water, food is great at the buffet, beach alot or rocks, poolside room that I was upgraded to was full of mosiqutos so had to go back to a room facing the unrenovated parking lot. This resort is not 5 star at all.

Sandals South Coast: Got sick 2nd day!

My husband and I were incredibly excited in advance of this trip, and decided to splurge a bit to opt for the luxury of this Sandals resort that we had heard so much about. Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy it at all. On our 2nd day at the resort, we both got very sick and spent the majority of our time in bed and in the nurses office. We believe it might have been our lunch that wracked havoc on our digestive systems. The manager Kimberley did bring us dry crackers and approved one e [... read more]vening of room service for us, which we greatly appreciated as we were unable to get out of bed, and the medical staff were so amazing in checking in on us and making sure we were staying up on our meds and fluids. There was also one thing that I did not appreciate on the day we arrived. As part of the check in process, they put a hold on your credit card of anywhere from $300-400 USD for “other expenses.” It is not mandatory, however the front desk staff do make it seem so, which did not sit well with me at all once I was informed of the optional nature of this hold. Unused funds are supposed to be refunded within 10-15 business days, however I do believe that I will lose money with the currency exchange. I can submit an update once I receive my refund. Aside from the sickness, the pros if the resort were: -lovely and pleasant staff -clean rooms -lots of dining options -clean beach -lots of beach chairs and no need to rush to save them -excellent medical staff! Special mention to Nurse Tisha, Nurse Brown, and Dr. Lawrence Cons: -the food options are not great for vegetarians at all Sickness withstanding, I am not sure that I would go back to this Sandals South Coast as I did not feel like it lived up to the luxury and romance that they sell in their marketing campaigns. Considering the premium paid for the Sandals experience, I personally did not feel that I received my money’s worth. The basics of a clean room and clean beach are things that I can get at other adults-only resorts. The main buffet was nothing exceptional, and the food options were very limited for vegetarians (although the chefs did try their best). My husband and I were very excited to go to the “authentic” Caribbean restaurant as after being sick for days, we were craving familiar food (our background is also Caribbean) and we were told that Elinor’s is the place to go however they served a bland, watered-down version of Caribbean food that left us very unsatisfied. Jasmine’s was the only restaurant that we enjoyed for their take on Asian food. Giuseppe’s was the Italian restaurant and there were a few more that we did not go to because of the lack of veg options and also because we ran out of time to try them all. In short, I did not see what set Sandals apart from their adults-only resorts, however I would be open to giving them another shot but maybe on a different island.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Good resort for kids

This was our second time visiting this resort and we loved it! The hotels are close to the beach, pool and water park. The kids really enjoyed the water park and it helped to break up the day. The only downside is that there are not enough tubes for the lazy river so you have to get there early. Other than that it’s really good. The platinum had amazing food. The place is really clean and there’s a bar at every corner. They also have a jerk hut in the beach that was sooo gooodd! It wasn’t over crowded we always got a beach chair by the sand or by any pool. I would recommend this resort to anyone with a family,

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Mr kenrick Young

I think the rooms were excellent the huts I enjoyed the huts very much. Wi-Fi service was very poor. Oh that the Cameron can get the wi-fi system fix so that we can use it in the room. Overall I think that the place was enjoyable.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Not as advertised

Sandal's perfected the advertising and deceiving industry. They sell their resort as the most luxurious vacation that one will ever have. In all honesty that could be not more farther from the truth!! The resort is very outdated thou in my rating I didn't considered it. That didn't bothered me nor the very fact that climbing in the bed requires some acrobatic skills! I am 5.5" tall and getting in the bed was challenging every single time. It took about an hour to get the room that was paid for. I've always wanted to try Sandal's and at our 30th anniversary we decided to book it. We wanted a vacation to remember. Well it happen but for all the wrong reasons. I have had the opportunity to visit different islands in the Caribbean and I can testify that any other resorts you can get luxury for much less money than here. Here they use the cheapest raw materials that can be purchased on the market and they serve it in very small portions. If you ask for chicken your portion is 2 drumsticks of the size of chicken wings and be happy. If you try to get more that always ends in an argument because there no way that they will honour your request! All the orders are mostly hit and miss. The resort has no mineral water, nor a canned club soda! The alcoholic beverages are questionable. I never saw anybody open a seal on a bottle (except on sparkling wine). When you go to eat you have to give your room number. I found this to be a try to intimidate you so one would not complain. If that doesn't work they send in the managers who try to smooth things over. I found this to be degrading because my intelligence was insulted.They are smiling as long as you don't want anything from them. If you have a question or complain they make you feel small and stupid. One example of this: one morning I went to the wending machine to get my latte. There is no freshly brewed coffee on the resort you have to help yourself at the machine. So I started the procedure. The machine could not finish my order because there was no milk. I saw an employee and asked for his help. He came there and explained to me how the machine works. I've asked him to demonstrate it. Well he had no more success than I did. Even than I could not get an 'I am sorry'. Somehow he got into the clear while I ended up being in red. I've got so much lecturing in those 5 days that I don't even want to remember. They are doing it wrong, it's their fault and still they make you feel stupid and they lecture you all the way. Every single interaction for food or drink was a challenge! On our anniversary at dinner we asked for a bucket with ice and a bottle of sparking wine. After about 2 minutes the server comes back asking what kind of wine we want?! I am very sorry that I booked this vacation. I've spent a lots of money and got not much except bad memories I would never return here nor visit any other Sandal's resorts. My dear fellow travelers do your home work and try other resorts where you will get value for your money. I feel ashamed that I've let the commercial of a dream vacation fog my judgment and not investigate the place before I booked it. Hope my review will help others not to make the same mistake that I did.

Jewel Grande Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort!

Had a wonderful time we stayed in an ocean view junior king suite, the view from our room we couldn’t have been happier with, the room was very spacious and nice, lots of storage space for all our stuff! The food was good, there was always something we could find to eat at the buffet or the restaurants which is very good considering my boyfriend is a fairly picky eater, and it was really nice being able to order room service 24 hours of the day included with the all inclusive no charge. Staff was very friendly and helpful, whatever we asked for or could need they were there to help!

Sunscape Splash: Good value for your buck

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Massive resort

The rooms, bathrooms and grounds are very clean. The pool needs maintenance badly as tiles are falling off left right and center. The man made beach is VERY rocky and uncomfortable to walk on. This is the second time being at the luxury bahia. I had a very bad dining experience in the don pablo restaurant. My dessert was clearly spoiled (passion fruit creme brulee) the creme wasnt cold and it was not bruleed. Instead of taking it away she chose to argue with me. Not sure they hit the mark for a luxury resort. Will not be returning.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: 5 star in every way

Beautiful resort. From the food to the rooms the staff and the service, everything was excellent. We stayed there from June 15-22 2019 and was our first time in Jamaica. We would definitely return again and probably stay at this same resort. The bartender Raymond at the swim-up bar and his son was our favourite. The night shows were fantastic also.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Excellent Resort

Perfect location on the beach. So many choices for physical activities for all ages. The staff were amazingly supportive & respectful. Wide variety of food choices @ the buffet, but also @ various restaurants.We were a party of 9 4 teenagers & their parents + 2 seniors.

Grand Pineapple Beach: The staff left a lot to be desired

The grounds were amazing, the rooms were standard. The staff left a lot to be desired, they were not friendly and if you asked for something it was like you put them out and they were rude about it. The bar doesn't serve wine and the only time you are able to get any is during dinner service, the staff was not nice about the request for wine outside of this time. I will not return to this resort nor will I recommend it to any of my family or friends. I believe the staff of the resort can make or break a holiday, the staff of the Grand Pineapple Resort didn't make this a great stay.

Our stay was great. (August 2019). Beautiful beaches, clean pool. Great food. Staff were incredibly friendly and fun! Music playing by the pool definitely gives you the Island vibe. Any issues (wifi, hot water) were dealt with promptly. The resort is a little older, but the rooms were clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view of the Ocean from the 7th floor is stunning! Thanks to Victoria at Exitnow.ca for her help in booking this!

Sandals South Coast: Would Recommend to Friends - Sandals South Coast (Bring water shoes)

Our trip to Sandals South Coast was Aug.12 - everything was inline with our expectations of a 5 star resort having booked a penthouse club level room. Lacking room service and in-room stocked bar (full bottles vodka, wine, sparking, red, white) everyday would have been a big hit on opinion though and would prob. go elsewhere for he $$ if not booking club (minor price difference). 99% of staff where extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with - we found them to be extremely friendly, and tal [... read more]ented (entertainment staff are very talented, energetic and we hope resort takes care of them very well). Probably best overall experience from staff perspective we have had from ~15 trips so far. Food options are amazing, facilities and scenery/grounds are amazing (all A+ though the serving time and staff attention at Elaenors - aside from the "head waiter" - was very lacking ...really only complaint out of the whole trip). Definitely a couples/wedding resort as anyone looking for nightlife after 10 pm or so will be out of luck as that side of things dies down soon after (martini bar, DJ party etc. run but can be pretty empty pretty fast). Water shoes for the ocean are a must... few actually go into the water for any appreciable time without. Lots of sea weed, and definitely sea urchins (tend to be in see weed). 75% of water tends to be patches of sea weed but looking around you can usually find a clear area to relax in. Water was not choppy and warm... beautiful scenary but definitely not varadero/negril/siesta key sand/water clarity (this is not your place if pristine beach conditions is a must). Main pool was very clear water, well kept - great and entertaining bar staff all around. French village definitely has "party pool", Dutch village is quiet pool and NOT having in-pool bar (but rather aside) was a bit surprising to find poorest water quality (definitely cloudy and needing lots of treatment in morning). Favorite spot was at the bar on walkout in ocean that has nets all around perimeter - spent several nights watching distant lightning and stingrays float by sitting on the nets a foot or two over the water. Ride to resort per other posts can definitely cause motion sickness... continuous winding roads and lots of starts/stops. Very scenic - drivers differ in style and would suggest asking the more aggressive types to take it easy (our initial driver held 90-100km full route passing everything vs. a much more casual return to airport driver)..... continuously winding/twisting roads are a constant, but the scenary wouldn't be what it is if the roads were straight! Ya mon!
