Jewel Grande Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort!

Had a wonderful time we stayed in an ocean view junior king suite, the view from our room we couldn’t have been happier with, the room was very spacious and nice, lots of storage space for all our stuff! The food was good, there was always something we could find to eat at the buffet or the restaurants which is very good considering my boyfriend is a fairly picky eater, and it was really nice being able to order room service 24 hours of the day included with the all inclusive no charge. Staff was very friendly and helpful, whatever we asked for or could need they were there to help!

Sunscape Splash: Good value for your buck

Good resort but should spend some money on the interior such as the pool cots and umbrellas, also the room pillows are to small the workers are excellent especially Errol the pool maintenance man and all the guys from Segway tours as well as the on site activity workers who operate the water activities such as boating and tow rafts.the lazy river and other pools were enjoyable for my little one as well as the wife and myself how ever guests should know that because it states gratuities are inclu [... read more]ded the workers have yet to be blessed with them so everyone should tip personally for their services!Hipstreet is a great place to visit for your shopping needs and is open 7 days a week despite info from the front desk and supporting the locals really helps and you can find some really good deals, ask around for CC she’ll help you out.If you need a ride anywhere ask for Bunny the driver +1 (876) 804- 2636 he’s very knowledgeable about the Island and gives you a great rate.I say get out and visit and look around and see the real Jamaica and how people live you will have a better appreciation and understanding of the island.Other then that what a place the people will make you feel like your home.P.S you have to try the pizza and the KFC cheers and can’t wait to go back!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Massive resort

The rooms, bathrooms and grounds are very clean. The pool needs maintenance badly as tiles are falling off left right and center. The man made beach is VERY rocky and uncomfortable to walk on. This is the second time being at the luxury bahia. I had a very bad dining experience in the don pablo restaurant. My dessert was clearly spoiled (passion fruit creme brulee) the creme wasnt cold and it was not bruleed. When I pointed out to my server it smelled bad, she said well if yours is bad then ever [... read more]yone else's at the table (there was about 30 of us) is bad. Instead of taking it away she chose to argue with me. Not sure they hit the mark for a luxury resort. Will not be returning.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: 5 star in every way

Beautiful resort. From the food to the rooms the staff and the service, everything was excellent. We stayed there from June 15-22 2019 and was our first time in Jamaica. We would definitely return again and probably stay at this same resort. The bartender Raymond at the swim-up bar and his son was our favourite. The night shows were fantastic also.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Excellent Resort

Perfect location on the beach. So many choices for physical activities for all ages. The staff were amazingly supportive & respectful. Wide variety of food choices @ the buffet, but also @ various restaurants.We were a party of 9 4 teenagers & their parents + 2 seniors.

Grand Pineapple Beach: The staff left a lot to be desired

The grounds were amazing, the rooms were standard. The staff left a lot to be desired, they were not friendly and if you asked for something it was like you put them out and they were rude about it. The bar doesn't serve wine and the only time you are able to get any is during dinner service, the staff was not nice about the request for wine outside of this time. I will not return to this resort nor will I recommend it to any of my family or friends. I believe the staff of the resort can make or break a holiday, the staff of the Grand Pineapple Resort didn't make this a great stay.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Lots of fun

Our stay was great. (August 2019). Beautiful beaches, clean pool. Great food. Staff were incredibly friendly and fun! Music playing by the pool definitely gives you the Island vibe. Any issues (wifi, hot water) were dealt with promptly. The resort is a little older, but the rooms were clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view of the Ocean from the 7th floor is stunning! Thanks to Victoria at Exitnow.ca for her help in booking this!

Sandals South Coast: Would Recommend to Friends - Sandals South Coast (Bring water shoes)

Our trip to Sandals South Coast was Aug.12 - everything was inline with our expectations of a 5 star resort having booked a penthouse club level room. Lacking room service and in-room stocked bar (full bottles vodka, wine, sparking, red, white) everyday would have been a big hit on opinion though and would prob. go elsewhere for he $$ if not booking club (minor price difference). 99% of staff where extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with - we found them to be extremely friendly, and tal [... read more]ented (entertainment staff are very talented, energetic and we hope resort takes care of them very well). Probably best overall experience from staff perspective we have had from ~15 trips so far. Food options are amazing, facilities and scenery/grounds are amazing (all A+ though the serving time and staff attention at Elaenors - aside from the "head waiter" - was very lacking ...really only complaint out of the whole trip). Definitely a couples/wedding resort as anyone looking for nightlife after 10 pm or so will be out of luck as that side of things dies down soon after (martini bar, DJ party etc. run but can be pretty empty pretty fast). Water shoes for the ocean are a must... few actually go into the water for any appreciable time without. Lots of sea weed, and definitely sea urchins (tend to be in see weed). 75% of water tends to be patches of sea weed but looking around you can usually find a clear area to relax in. Water was not choppy and warm... beautiful scenary but definitely not varadero/negril/siesta key sand/water clarity (this is not your place if pristine beach conditions is a must). Main pool was very clear water, well kept - great and entertaining bar staff all around. French village definitely has "party pool", Dutch village is quiet pool and NOT having in-pool bar (but rather aside) was a bit surprising to find poorest water quality (definitely cloudy and needing lots of treatment in morning). Favorite spot was at the bar on walkout in ocean that has nets all around perimeter - spent several nights watching distant lightning and stingrays float by sitting on the nets a foot or two over the water. Ride to resort per other posts can definitely cause motion sickness... continuous winding roads and lots of starts/stops. Very scenic - drivers differ in style and would suggest asking the more aggressive types to take it easy (our initial driver held 90-100km full route passing everything vs. a much more casual return to airport driver)..... continuously winding/twisting roads are a constant, but the scenary wouldn't be what it is if the roads were straight! Ya mon!

Excellent vacation at Royal Decameron Club Caribbean. Clean, friendly and well staffed would definitely book another vacation at this resort. Cannot add to my comments above I think they say it all.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Worst service level - Total waste of money

Let me start with the good points - Royalton Negril has best views swimming pool is facing the carribean sea. That’s the only good point. Service level of the hotel is the worst I have ever seen. We have been going to carribean for last 10 years. Rooms are very outdated. Food is below five star level. Two days in a row we got rotten pasta from Buffett. Waiters and staff are rude and very lazy. Their Al-Carte restaurants are very dirty table mats are filled with stains. And food is worst their. [... read more] I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

It’s great resort the room excellent the service it’s great the food also amazing I. Going to refer people to that hotel only the service sometimes to slow I guess the have take that to consideration to changed

Amazing staying for 10 days: food delicious, beach very good, staff very helpful , property in good condition, also Italian restaurant the best in my family, weather very good and sea the best, close to airport

First the good, very close to airport, grounds are nice, can watch cruise ships come in and dock in bay behind hotel, food was good, great jerk chicken, buffet had good variety, has three pools, adult pool has swim up bar was never crowded and kids pool on other side of swim up bar which was nice for people with kids, they could enjoy adult pool and still keep an eye on their kids. At most resorts when you sit down in the morning for breakfast the staff are there pretty quick to offer you coffee, it won't happen here and tipping won't help I have never seen so many miserable women working at a buffet, and they are in no rush to take away empty plates. One night we waited and waited for service and ended up going to get our own knives and forks, then went and got our own wine glasses and poured our own wine while the staff watched us and never said a word. The resort overall is pretty rundown, our air canada rep said they will soon be doing major renovations at the resort, they may want to take a good look at their staff while their at it. I would not return to this resort.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Great resort!

Overall good resort; Pros: - lots of restaurants - good entertainment Cons: -small beach - make sure to request ocean view or else you’re across the street. Great country, great people. Highly recommend any sandals.

Riu Montego Bay: Beautiful resort.

Personally I think that this resort is beautiful . Not just for couples but amazing for families as well. The staffs ,security and our sunwing rep was amazing. For example I had forgotten one piece of my luggage on the bus that took us from the airport to the hotel and realized it was missing only after the driver drove off. I mentioned it to the bell man and also to the front desk. They told me that they don't have a direct number for the driver however they assured me that they would pass the  [... read more]info to my rep, who did actually worked hard on my case. after 2-3 days of calling,texting and emailing the company finally my bag was found. I was so happy and greatful. Excellent customer service!! Rooms were very clean and up to date. Beds were comfortable and firm .The air conditioner was very good as well. The buffet was always great, lots of varieties to choose from. Meals was delicious and hot. Dessert was also delicious and tasty. The pool was clean and beautiful. Filled with couples and families having a great time. Amazing and friendly staff, will definitely recommend this resort. Can't wait to visit against. :)

This was a nice place the rooms were lovely as was the staff. They seemed to be understaffed though which was frustrating for the few staff members. The beach was gorgeous, but the food could have been better.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Fantastic vacation

Right from check in we were welcomed with a drink. Check in was very quick. Food selection was great and varied day to day. Beach was loveley with shade always available.Customer service manager supplied a fruit plate and champagne to help celebrate our anniversary. Rooms are large and clean with great ocean views. Kem at the lobby bar is amazing as well as the lady bartender at the pool bar. This is a small resort with everything close at hand. Coffee bar was great. Sandals South Coast: This resort is the bomb chicadee

We had an amazing time at the sandal south coast resort. The place looked amazing, the grounds were immaculate clean and fresh. The staff was warm, welcoming and friendly. The food was of high quality in all restaurant and delicious, a lot of variety. The rooms all have ocean views and are specious , stocked mini fridge and the bathroom was big and always cleaned. There was so many activities we enjoyed all water sports motorized and unmotorized and all equipment was in great standing order. The [... read more]y enforced safety and are quick to attend to any situations. We also used the tennis court, basketball court, gym, shuffle board and played croquet. We enjoyed all drinks from the many bars, pool tables and fire tables with comfy seating. The shows were of high quality and very entertaining as well as the karaoke nights and other musical entertainment . Our favorite place was le café de Paris with real fresh pastries and on demand fresh crêpes offered also gluten free. Actually every server at every restaurant at every meal made a point to ask if there was any allergies or food restrictions, impressive. I do not have any negative comments , we loved our vacation.

Club Ambiance: Amazing staff

Grounds were beautiful and well kept. Relaxing atmosphere with lots of privacy. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Always great service from staff. The beach however needs much improvement. No beach for swimming. Water pressure for showering was low at times.
