Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Love this Resort!

We were very impressed with this hotel. Everything was so convenient with many amenities. Food was very good quality, and we especially enjoyed the jerk chicken place on the beach for lunch. The beach was truly amazing...so clear and calm. It was like being a pool! Will be going back for sure!

Club Ambiance: good week here

the place is older.. that did not bother me. was there room for improvement well i saw efforts being made and that was good enough for me. it was very clean and very adequate and i was not bothered by the other issues. the main one was the water, but no problem mon, i figured out how to work it. im easy, others not, i get that. my room, up the stairs from the lobby in one of the honeymoon rooms, was comfortable, had a great view, nice big bathroom. very nice jamaican food hit the spot. my needs [... read more] were simple, and were met. no luxuries here, as others have said, do not expect fancy. saw both good and bad reviews and wanted to see the place for myself, was curious about this one and having found a fab last minute deal with sunwing, glad i gave it a try. didnt want tours, activities or excitement.. what i wanted was a nice week to relax and that certainly was achieved. being mid-july there were not too many other guests here during my week. what else can i say. enjoyed this beautiful quiet spot on the north coast. bus to the airport for my return home was alittle late to arrive, but we managed just fine. my bug spray was liberated from me at the airport.. that was a first. thank you andrea, and from the front desk, to the bar, and kitchen, and dining room and everyone else, great staff, thank you all.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: No Beach

Overall the resort was nice; food and service was average. There was no real beach on the resort, just shallow and rocky. Also, they called us early in the morning 930am to ask about our review while we were still sleeping.

Riu Montego Bay: I want to go back

The Hotel Roy was amazing. The entertainment team make it a priority to make sure people are not only relaxed but are having a good time. The pool and beach are beautiful and they had a lot of options for excursions. The food was also amazing.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Amazing resort

I stayed at the Grand Palladium resort and Spa we had a great time the staff treated my family so amazing . The food was amazing jerk chicken to the Ackey and selfish .I recommend this is the best place to go.

Coco La Palm: Another great stay at Coco

We love everything about Coco La Palm that is why we continue to return for the past 5 years. Staff, food and rooms are all great. We like the older section of the hotel, its right there in a minute walk to the beach (don't like to climb stairs). Upgrades are starting to happen in this area can't wait to see the changes on our next trip. Thanks again for another great vacation Coco.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: One of the best !

This place was a delight to stay there the rooms were very Spacious with everthing you need and if it not there they will be more then willing to cater to your ever needs. The food was so exquisite, and there was so much to choose from .they had dishes for the young to older ones like myself .I just loved trying things for my firest time . Jewel Grande Resort and Spa: Amazing resort

This was the best resort we have ever stayed at. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The grounds were very well maintained and the rooms were very spacious and clean. They truly treated us like royalty. We were a big group of 24 and they always accommodated us. We were able to make dinner reservations before arriving which made it so much easier. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Questionable resort?!!

This hotel was definitely not a 5 star I would rate it a 2/3...no internet....no TV....wrong rooms...the hallways were dark (dangerous for women)....the airconditioner in my sons room did not work very well...i wasn't expecting 20 marriage proposals from the staff!!!! The staff seemed to need more customer service training. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Riu Negril: Stunning resort

Loved everything about the resort. From the friendly staff to the delicious food. Our room was always cleaned never did it slack. Definitely would come back to this resort!! The beach was beautiful!!!

Couples Negril: Amazing resort!

We were at this resort in July and we enjoyed it. The resort is small and we didn’t spend a lot of time for walking around to get to the restaurants, beach or room. The service and food were amazing. The best thing for us was that we had a lot of activities included: snorkeling, glass bottom boat tours, water skiing, kayaking, catamaran, transportation to different places. The beach was very nice. I would definitely recommend this resort to my friends and family.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: First family vacation amazing

The hotel was beyond amazing, we stayed 10 days at the Grand Bahia Principe Jamaica and we loved it. Check in was a breeze and the ladies at the desk were so friendly. After checking in we were shown to our room by a bell man. The room was great for our family. The view was amazing, it was all breathtaking. The food was great we loved the food . The service at the restaurants were good one waitress stood out as she helped us at the garden grill for breakfast, her name is Shadeen she is the best. [... read more] The pool vibes is lovely and we loved the area for kids. The beach was cool to chill on especially when the sun was going down. Alot of negative reviews shown on TripAdvisor but we didn't experience all other people are complaining about. Our mini bar was stocked daily too. Would we go back? Of course we would. Would we recommend the resort? we would definitely do. Thank you Trip Central. Our trip was amazing. Jamaica no problem!!

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great resort best bang for the buck

Furniture was a little worn but the resort was clean and lots of amenities. We plan to go back soon. Staff was friendly and helpful. The reception area underwhelms but the beach makes up for it. Food was good. Always one dish on buffet that was awesome.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Best!

Amazing resort, amazing beach, amazing waterpark, amazing food, and most importantly, amazing people! Coral reef right in front of the hotel. Throw some bread in the water and you will be swimming with hundreds of beautiful fish. Better than going on any snorkeling excursion. As for excursions, highly recommend Dunns River Falls and Konoko Falls. FYI's: Drive from airport is about 1:45 ish; get your beach towels early bc they run out, most excursions serve jerk chicken only (two that we [... read more] went on); bring water shoes; atm machine right on resort; waterpark also open to the locals (who are very kind) so it tends to get pretty busy during the day, slows down after 4, stays open til 6; beach area is very windy but the breeze feels nice; hot but not humid; quiet resort; only restaurant w AC is Caribbean, however no need for AC bc of the breeze; only need reservations for one restaurant (tapanaki/Japanese); no strict dresscode; 3 pools, main pool no swim-up, infinity pool does but its pretty shallow and often full of kids (strange they would have the bar there🤷‍♀️); great entertainment, always something to do Definitely returning! Sandy Haven: Exactly what we wanted!

Sandy haven is a small luxury resort so don’t expect big fancy restaurants or a fancy pool. However, what you do get is a clean and spacious room and access to one of the most beautiful beaches. I was pleasantly surprised by how cute the room is. It’s super clean! The AC was wonderful and the room didn’t feeel or smell humid or sticky. I would 100% come back to Sandy Haven.

Riu Negril: Breathtaking Experience

This hotel was such a great place ! The staff was so welcoming, the food was amazing and the hotel was so up to date. I’m so happy I didn’t listen to the negative reviews because there was nothing wrong with this resort !

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: FANTASTIC resort

This is the best resort I have ever stayed at! The beach is stunning and well kept. The rooms and public areas are immaculate. The food is delicious and plentiful. There are many activities all day long so you never get bored. The staff are super friendly, especially Genius Williams in the kitchen who always had a huge smile for us. I would definitely visit this resort again.

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Average

The hotel was average in terms of amenities and food. I did not like the constant up-sell for liquor and $5 for coconuts is absurd. I would not return as I booked an Adult only resort and was disappointed that adults at the Ziva had access. The buffet dinners were oddly themed. Jamaica night 3 times in the week when there was a Jamaica station every meal. I loved the Brazillian and French restaurants, service and meal quality was very good.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Perfect Week in Negril

The hotel grounds were fantastic! Everything was layed out perfectly with entertainment/bars/pools/restaurants all in the center of the resort. Loved that our walk from our room (1102) to the beach was less than 2 minutes and less than 4 minutes walk got us to the buffet. The staff was great and always accomodated whatever it was that we needed. Loved having our coffee after meals in the lobby cafe/bar. The beach was very clean and there were always beach chairs available. We spent the entire we [... read more]ek on the beach and never got to the pools but the pools looked clean and were well maintained. Lot's of great entertainment at the pools during the day as well! We had an excellent waiter who would bring us drinks on the hour to our beach chairs during the day! Room service was quick and easy to access. You would never want for anything there! The buffet food was great and had lots of selection. We walked up and down the 2 miles of Bloody Bay almost daily and enjoyed meeting different vendors along the beach. We did walk over to the Riu Negril resort as well but when we realized that their lunch buffet was outdoors (on an extremely hot day) we turned around and went back to the Air Conditioned buffet at ours. Although this resort is an hour and a half away from Montego Bay, it was well worth the long drive to this beautiful oasis. My fiance and I are considering returning next year for our honeymoon!
