Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Fabulous Staff

Have been to this hotel a couple of times over the years. But a few years ago I wrote that I wouldn’t go back. The food was awful even for Cuba. But we made some wonderful friends there and we decided to try the resort again. It was mainly because of the food that we didn’t want to go back. But we liked that it was small hotel easy to get around. The food this time around has improved a lot, and really the staff is just amazing. The cleaning staff, entertainment, managers, gardeners. The staff could not do enough for us. The rooms are nice and big, just not enough lighting, beds are very comfortable, some of the rooms are a bit dated, but bed, and bathroom is clean. Going into Varadero the hop on hop off bus is directly outside the hotel. It comes every 15 minutes and costs $5.00 for the whole day. The entertainment in the evening was excellent. They had a different theme every night. We only did one of the 3 alcarte restaurants. It was the Romantica it was very good. The beach was great and the entertainment staff had a lot of people participate. The Pool area was nice, But they don’t have a swim up bar. We are now planning to go back again next year to the same hotel. Can’t wait!

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Disappointing.

The people were fantastic but it became evident early in that the hotel had some issues which we attribute largely to its management. Bathrooms in main hotel were frequently filthy with no toilet paper. Room service poor, we were shorted towels daily. Only 19 covered areas on beach...totally inadequate for number of visitors. Food adequate and meat tough and in short supply. Two members of our group had stomach issues from the food. Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Above average Cuban resort

Hotel is nice, 2 years old, but low craftmenship is obvious considering cracked tiles and non-functioning doors etc. Food was good, not great varieties, but much better quality then expected. Beaches in Varadero never disapoint, so this time is the same. Staff is very friendly, quick service, much quicker with a few CUC (Cuban Pesos) tip. Sports bar open 24 hours have very good menu and friendly staff. Highly recommended spot.

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Nice vacation

I was overall satisfied with our vacation. Rooms are spacious but we had a room on the first floor without a view and there was strange smell in the room. I don't know if we could ask for another room on higher floor without additional payment. Food and entertainment were very good.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Classy Resort with Exceptional Staff

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita is a great value for a super clean, classy resort with good food and exceptional staff. We were impressed with the incredible service levels, professionalism, and friendliness of the staff in all areas of the resort. Guests needs are tended to with a smile, and the resort and rooms are impeccably maintained by the maids and cleaning staff. Entertainment team was fun and worked very hard. Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Amazing Resort

This was a 5th time to Mexico, and this resort is tops. It is very large, but you don't feel crowded. It has something for everyone. The beach is fantastic, but the waves were very high when we were there. This is absolutely the cleanest resort we have been to. Rooms were spotless, and the grounds are amazing. The people are super friendly and we have to give a shoot out to Fanny. She was a server that put on a lot of miles running drinks back and forth for us at the pool.  [... read more]We went to the Steak House twice, but there was no availability at the Italian Restaurant in the entire 10 days we were there. The Steak House was excellent, but you can get Steak or Italian Food at any of the buffets every day, so we don`t feel we missed out at all. I would recommend this resort to any age group and from families with children to couples or singles. You won`t go wrong.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Fabulous Resort!

This was our 7th time to Jamaica, we have visited many resort all along the North Coast, this was definitely one of our favourite places we have stayed. The grounds and public area were very well maintained, the beach was great we even got to go snorkeling right from shore. The room was spacious and the view was absolutely amazing, the food and friendly staff were outstanding. That being said we would absolutely return to this resort without hesitation.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Very nice resort

The food was good, keeping in mind that the food is never the reason to visit Cuba. The people are great, the beach fantastic, entertainment awesome and drinks were awesome. Sometimes the mosquitoes were annoying so keep in mind that rubbing Gin on your skin works well while anything with DEET does nothing so leave those behind.

The hotel was great, Beth is a very professional, She always was on top to resolve every single issue and concern, The only problem was with the mediterranean restaurant, Their food is not clean, I found a small piece of Stainless Steel Scouring Pad in my Pasta

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Awesome vacay in Cuba

The hotel was amazingly upkept and clean for such a large resort Clean room, friendly staff Service was A+ Typical of Cuban resorts the food was what we expected. Regardless, there was always something we could eat Our only negative is the halls and stairways need to be kept clean. Overall I’d rate this resort at least a 4

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Amazing resort

Beautiful and clean resort. Only issue we had was a broken toilet seat which was fixed shortly after staff were notified. Good variety of food. Staff were all exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Overall a great stay and we would book here again.

Beautiful Place, I travelled with my family of 10, Everyone enjoyed the stay there People are wonderful, Food was okay, Always something to eat, Maids are awesome. Waiters and waitresses are awesome. We will surely go back, My little grandkids loved the place, They Love the People..

Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: Amazing family resort

Hotel staff - extremely friendly and helpful Room - very clean and kept very well throughout our stay Maid staff - attended to any requests promptly (I.e. extra towels) Pool - very nice, cleaned everyday, great for swimming and activities. From the day time activities to the evening shows they take any opportunity to get to know you during your stay. Every night is a different show and very entertaining. We will miss the entertainment team the most Bartenders - fantastic. All drinks are served with a smile and excitement. They know your drinks as you stand at the bar. Concierge - our concierge was Heney and he was amazing. He was always there to help in whatever we needed. And provided is with any information about the Dominican we required. Spa - I am so glad we had a massage. It was absolutely relaxing and gave us access to the jacuzzi, saunas (dry and wet), bubble bath and much more. Such a relaxing environment. They offered swimming classes for kids. Overall Highly recommend this resort particularly if you have children

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great Resort

The Hotel was good nice and clean and the Gardner’s work hard to keep this looking good washroom are an issues never had tissue and did not flush properly so you just start having your own supplies in your purse . I am alway a little disappointed with Sunwing because there is always delays coming or going or most times both . Not sure l will fly with them again .

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Great resort

We found the resort very good the food was geat the service also. The only thing the bed rooms need refreshing for a 4.5 star place . The catch is upgrade to a better room at 50. dollars US a day which I don tthink is the way to get your clients. I stayed at other resorts in Puerto Plata and the rooms were much better. We lost two days at the beginning with the harrassement of agents after us to join the prestige club which I find is just to much. So be careful of that when getting there.

just for the record we are not complainers don't expect things you don't pay for this is are 7th time to Cuba we have never complained before we only went to this resort because of Iberostar the hotel it self was just Ok at best 3 star Max - the mosquito's where unbelievable no fumigating at all - house keeping room they don't stock up Toilet paper on after 2 days needed to leave note for more - have coffee machine no coffee ever left even with notes the tea bags are not restocked you n [... read more]eed to find your self - food was bad even for Cubin standards no potato's to be found at this resort no vegetables for sides a la carte restaurants 1/3 of items on menu not available the pool bar/snack bar 1/2 the time no cups available for drinks

Iberostar Selection Holguin: Very nice resort

Iberostar resort was very nice and well kept. The staff goes out of your way to make your stay exceptional. We had a good time with our friends and had some great à la carte meals. We would definitely consider going back next year.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Amazing!

This resort was well laid out, plenty of space to move about and on the beach. The rooms were clean and the service was amazing. All were very attentive and professional. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to assist.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great resort!

This resort is amazing. We had such a great time here. Staff on the resort are so kind and friendly. Very clean. Everything you need on the resort is very close together. No need to walk far distances. Pool overlooks beach. The beach is very clean and water is warm and clear. Would go again.

Had an amazing time at bella costa stayed In bungslows, #754 the food was pretty good the lady who made ommlettes was amazing and towel guy was so friendly and cute I loved the resort...see yas in February..
