Hotel Playa Coco: Amazing Beach walk miles on sand bars

I was a solo traveller t I was happy not to pay an extra fee because of being single I felt completely safe. The resort was extreme like clean and while taking care of very basic sword, beautiful for children the pool access for children is wonderful. The beach access for children and older adults that have a hard time walking in the sand. Also great you can walk for miles out to sandbars. The food was quite sufficient breakfast. Hî everything was good ´for the hotel just with sun wing i take upgrade for seat elite plus and it’s worst service I have ´I pay 140.00 for service and I pay for no service thsnks norm 514 895 6185 and they sell seat for 30.00 on the plane si I been screwed

Brisas Guardalavaca: Clean, friendly, very accommodating,

Everything was so close to our #5 villa section..The grounds are so well taken care of .Beach was beautiful sand was cleaned daily lots of seats n shade .Meals were plentiful enjoyed the a la carte , buffet was brimming lots of selections. Our room was very clean, water in room always had electricity and hot water ..looking forward to another trip... We had a problem with park n fly the discount Trip Central offered was invalid..I wrote to our agent but have not had a reply..

Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Resort: Beautiful Resort

Spent the week of Jan.21/2025 to Jan28/2025 Hotel and staff were great, from grounds to pools, restaurants but most importantly the staff. From reception, bar staff, grounds keepers, servers basically anyone who worked there. They all went out of their way to make our stay relaxing and trouble free.

Melia Cayo Coco: Top Notch Everything

You CAN come to Cuba for the food - if you come here, especially at the a la cartes - very impressed with the menu, the food and especially the service. Cleaning was fastidious. The beach goes on forever and exceeded expectations. Remember that its Cayo Coco though, so the wind can come up and stay all week. Nothing they can do about that so its worth it to spend a little more to come to a resort where its peaceful and comfortable if you need to get off the beach to escape the wind - so many ot [... read more]her resorts have constant deafening music and announcements blaring all the time. Not here. Front desk staff were VERY accommodating, friendly and professional. The tennis/pickle ball scene is alive and well, thanks to the very charming and talented Marcos - a real keeper. We were also surprised with how fluent so many staff were, in English! As for TripCentral, a big shout out to the personable and attentive Manuela.

Playa Costa Verde: PCV Home away from home

Playa Costa Verde is an older hotel, that gets well maintained. It offers activities for young and old alike. The food situation was much improved from last year, despite the warnings of food and drink shortages that are posted on travel warnings to Cuba. Beach is amazing, and the ocean offers nice snorkeling spots right in the bay of the resort. During our 3 week stay we did not experience any black-out periods due to power grid problems that are regularly experienced by the Cuban people; [... read more] the resort has back up generators and it is able to draw their power from 2 different power grids, so it is not often that they are without power. Staff at PCV is super helpful, friendly and courteous. (unlike some of its guests; if you experience rude behaviour, it is mostly from fellow tourists) It is quite difficult to rent scooters or cars due to the fuel/gasoline shortages that Cuba is experiencing. Because of this issue, the classic taxi fares have significantly increased, but are definitely worth booking, in order to experience the real Cuba.

Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Best beach but not a 5 star resort

We just returned from our 9 day vacation at Coral Esmeralda. I must say this is Defiantly not a 5 star resort as you indicated. We were very disappointed with the description listed in your site and with one staff member there. The good. - Beast beach I have ever been to. White fine sand on beach and in the ocean. No need for water shoes here - Our room was huge and beautiful. We had the roof top suite - Massage at the spa are perfect. Great service and prices. Keylin and Ernesto are amaz [... read more]ing. - Lunch at the beach BBQ and the snack bar where the best meals on the resort. Freshly cooked and cooked to perfection - Waiters, cooks and bartenders are always friendly. Even if you don’t tip The Bad. - On the second day Ariel the butler manager made a racial gesture to my wife 3 times even after telling him the first time it was offensive. This set a negative tone for the rest of our stay and really spoiled our trip - Beach has no washrooms and you have to walk over 3 minutes to get to one - Lack of supplies (that’s all Cuba) - Told there was turn down service when checked in but never happened (had to go change beach towels every day to the non-Coral side) - No VIP Dinner at the resort's best spot as stated when we checked in - A la carte dinners are pre made that always come out warm not hot. Better off at the buffet - No Complimentary hydrotherapy access as stated when we checked in and according to the booking agreement - Butler service was not really there as we have had at other resorts. - House keeping was really bad (shortage of towels every day, room not made a few days until after 5pm) - Shower for the pool and ocean to wash up were mostly broken (non on the beach worked) - Maintenance at this resort are slacking with multiple items not working - Room towels are old, non-absorbent, and smell like feet

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: ENJOYABLE RESORT

I must say that I was very pleased with "Memories Caribe Beach Resort". especially the food...yes the food. Best we've had during our many visits to Cuba! Always something to choose from, one day they even had Turkey...WOW. The "snack bar" had a great variety of sandwiches and fries too! Drink choices...the lobby bar made the best Pina-Coladas and Spanish coffee! At the beach, great pizza freshly made, not everyday however grab it when you can! They are very clean however air conditioning unit isn't good for sure. It works OK, could use maintenance for cleaning etc. Had a issue with hot water the week we were there, only in the shower. The staff tried there best and were very prompt to react to any concerns we had however they were working on plumbing on the whole resort so during this week some had hot water and some not. Entertainment: always something going on either in the theatre, around the pool, in the snack bar and buffet . Love music however would recommend perhaps when the music is playing around the pool that the snack bar turn theirs off! Spanish lessons, dance class, dancing....certainly can keep busy if you want for sure! the people, WONDERFUL...friendly...aim to please!

Sirenis Tropical Varadero: Terrific Suite!

We traveled from January 21-28, 2025 and it was our first time at the Sirenis tropical. The lobby was beautiful and the resort had two different sections of different pool styles for you to enjoy. À la carte restaurants were good, but not spectacular. Buffet always had lots of fresh fruit and cheese, real eggs and bacon every day! A solid four star resort in my opinion and I have traveled to Cuba nine times.

Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas: Loved it

We took a break from Cuba because we were tired of the resorts running out of food, and drinks, I was very impressed by this resort, it was clean, the rooms are big with plenty of drawers, the food was fantastic, they never ran out of anything, the selection was pretty decent as well. I hope the resort keeps up with good management I would like to go back

Melia Las Americas: Very good resort

We stayed in the main hotel (not the Level section) in which the rooms are a bit outdated but the lobby is very nice. The rooms were cleaned every day the bedding and towels replaced. The mini bar was stocked with beer, water and pop daily. We received a nice bottle of Havana Club rum because we were repeated customers which was a nice touch. The beach was clean and plowed every other day and it had plenty of sun beds. We had a great vacation with not much to complain. The only thing I would suggest is to have better quality of alcohol choices like whiskey, vodka, etc. What you have right now and last year on the same period are the cheapest options (whiskey from India which is pure alcohol with some color). Sanctuary White Sands: Beautiful Resort comes with some very bad service

The resort is beautiful, well laid out and easily walkable. The service at the swim up bar was fantastic. The butler we had every other day was very helpful. That's where the good part ends. The service at 24 hour bar and buffet and lobby bar was horrendous! If you want to become invisible this is the resort for you. We tipped when we had good service which was not very often. Food was so bad. The only vegetable was slightly warm over cooked cabbage and raw cabbage. No potatoes, n [... read more]o other vegetables. The only fruit was over ripe bananas, un ripe pineapple and papaya. With this resort being so isolated there really was no options for dining or excursions. The beach was beautiful but the sand was so soft that. as a senior, walking to the water was very difficult. I will never return here even if the problems are addressed. I have been to Cuba almost 40 times (even 3 star resorts) this is by far at the bottom of my list.

When it's wavy because of the drop off which levels back out in a few meters, the waves pumble you into the rocks right at/under the shore line and have a VERY difficult time getting out. Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: The Staff Are The BEST

This was our 3rd time to Club Amigo it is definitely our home in Cuba! Although you could only get omlettes for the week our favorite waitress was able to get us eggs so we could have them over easy. They didn't have butter on some days but there was always something to eat. I don't eat pork or beef but was able to have chicken and fish and salad daily. Club Amigo is so family friendly and the staff just love children. Special shout out to Inalvis, Jamilay, Dorisella, Rudolpho, Danilo, Anna, Mirta, Glexi, Peachy & Jorlan the Entertainer is fabulous! for their EXCELLENT service. The night shows are across the street by the bungalow pool, with it's own bar. Bingo everyday is so much fun. We also like that you can walk off resort and explore the village and nearby town. We will definitely be back :)

Melia Internacional: Amazing resort

Nice Rooms ,very well equipped with Daly necessities,excellent room service. Good food and easy axesss to pool beach and restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful all the time tours available to vara and Havana at a decent price.

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Amazing resort

The whole resort was very nicely kept, the pools were beautiful too. The beaches in Cuba are fantastic, and the people are wonderful and very helpful. Food is traditionally biggest issue in Cuba even in the restaurants. Amazing bartenders and drinks

Valentin Cayo Cruz: Few quests hence few services

There was only 140 or so guests most rooms were empty. Very quiet, food the worse I have experienced and travel 3 times a year to Cuba.The al carts were horrible. Beach amazing beds comfortable and housekeeping came each day. Entertainment not so good.

Hotel Playa Coco: Amazing Resort

We had a great experience! Hotel could use some tlc but the rooms are a great size. The resort is beautiful, the food was amazing and there was a lot to choose from. My families favourite was the Japanese a la carte and the pizza!! As for the staff here, they were all super friendly!! Some we made life long friendships with!! We definitely will be going back for many years to come!!

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero: For Cuba the food was the best I ever had.

For the most part, the resort was fantastic. A little dated but overall had no issues whatsoever. The food was excellent. Safe always amazing. Local Musicians entertain the guest every nite at the bar, and sometimes even at lunch time. The beach 5 *. Never ran out of toilet paper, ketchup a plenty…..for the price paid…can’t asked for better.
