Grand Oasis Cancun: Could have been better

If your looking to party or hang out with 20+ year olds this resort is great. The food was mid grade. Our room was cleaned twice in a week... that I was not happy with. I was not happy with the minimum bar options and that there are some bars you can’t get into at all without paying 25$/person per night you stay. The views were nice from the rooms, but the top floors balcony’s are much smaller then the other floors. It was nice to get away but for the extra money I would go somewhere else.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Nice resort but too big

The hotel is very clean and beautiful but for my taste its too big you need to walk a lot for everything. The pools are very nice and clean. The buffet you wait in line for all meals for at least 20 mins. The a la carte are not as long to wait and are good. The rooms are clean but the last day we were there we found 3 cockroaches. The service in the room for great. The shows as night are beautiful. The wifi was not free and some other stuff that was told we were getting we couldn't get we had to [... read more] pay.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY

Good value for the money. An older hotel. Rooms clean. Food decent. Get your reservations in early for any of the restaurants because they fill up fast. The pillows on the bed are terrible and way too small. The elevator service is very bad and cannot accommodate the amount of people that use them. But they were working on them while we were there. Thank God for the adult swimming pool. It was a god send. Overall a very good vacation.

Occidental Costa Cancun: Wonderful Vacation!

We had a fabulous stay at the costa cancun. It is a small resort, so all the staff gets to know you well. The staff is amazing, especially the recreation staff and the restaurant servers! The food was very good, and a great variety. The resort is kept very clean and well maintained. This is the only resort we have ever been to where we could find lounge chairs available any time of day at the pool or beach, they are very plentiful! This resort has very good use of space and everything is within  [... read more]a short distance. Also excellent if you are going on excursions, because right around the corner from the buffet restaurant is the port of take off for all sorts of fun things, like the ferry to Isla Mujeres, Pirate ships, dance and party boats, jet ski. The beach is a bit small but other than that this was a great resort and we enjoyed our week very much!

Grand Oasis Palm: Not suitable for everyone

It was a very busy resort where there were two hotels using one number of services/beach space. Very long line ups for the restaurants and buffets had limited options as well as trays would at times be empty. It seemed that in certain areas, they were understaffed for the very high number of guests. Limited space both by the beach and pool. Lounge chairs need to updated and not enough for all the guests. Some people were sitting in the sand or sharing chairs. More suitable for families with chi [... read more]ldren as well. Kids apparently stay there free. Hence, there were a lot of children at this resort.

Grand Oasis Palm: Great family resort.

Great pool and beachfront on the family side. Restaurants aren’t too bad...very relaxed atmosphere. Lots of excursions available, but the resort offers quite a lot of things for kids/families to do also.

Grand Oasis Sens: Amazing Adults Only Vacay!!!

This hotel was very good at maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds, rooms and overall area. There was always someone cleaning up dishes, washing floors, giving out towels and sheets for the outdoor beds, making sure you had what you needed etc. Everyone for the most part was friendly but the only thing I would suggest is they need more than one bartender per bar. They looked a bit overwhelmed but always were polite and served everyone as best they could. The food was amazing at all of th [... read more]e al a carte restaurants and since they are unlimited you should go to them as often as you can!!!! The buffet was open at breakfast and had your typical items and was good. It was closed at lunch but there was always other options to choose from. The Italian place was really good...who doesn't want steak and shrimp for lunch? The buffet was a bit disappointing for dinner but overall it was acceptable. It was just a bit small with little selection but since there were so many al a carte's, there was no need to visit the buffet. All you have to do is visit the al a carte you want to go for dinner about an hour before and make a reservation. Be there early because everyone lines up. They don't do the "make all your reservations" on one day or even on the morning of. If your bar fridge doesn't get any bottled water just visit the lobby bar as they give some out there as well. The night club is basically on level 2, which is the main pool level at the back. If you don't mind thumpety thump from 10pm until 2am each night.....I suggest getting the rooms we did on the main walk out level 2. It is a bit of a weird set up since its a pyramid style hotel....lots of stairs and its great for exercise but not wheelchair/disability friendly though. As an example if you want to be able to walk out of the sliding doors right to the pool, bar and sushi bar....get an EVEN number room. Either 218,220,222,224,228,230. there were a couple around the corner next to those but they didn't have sliding door access as you would have to walk around. Its great at that spot as you can sit outside your door they have two loungers for you to use. Plus there are 3 oversized beds which are basically oversized loungers for groups to hang out or couples. I suggest you get up early and put a couple towels and maybe a shirt or two on it to save it. By around 8am all of the spots get taken.....just don't got it for the day if you only plan on using it for an hour :) The entertainment was really good and I suggest reserving a spot for the Cabaret show at the Oasis Pyramid - they provide transportation and its free! The night club has a show each night and do NOT miss the burlesque show its hot!! One last thing....don't miss the foam party in the topless/hidden pool.....that was fun :)

The Pyramid Cancun: Wonderful family trip!

The resort was very clean and well maintained. The gardens were immaculate and beautiful and everything we wanted in a resort. I loved the peacocks roaming the property. The beach was stunning just like out of a magazine. Our favorite restaurants were Le Buffet and Maki Taco where the service was top notch. I wanted to thank one special staff at Maki Taco restaurant. Our server Abraham was especially amazing. Always smiling and joyful. Grand Oasis Cancun: Stay away

Not a place for an enjoyable vacation. Old and dated hotel, terrible service all around, definitely not family friendly. Go somewhere else!!! Emporium hotel a few doors down is superb for families with children. Clean and quite.

The Pyramid Cancun: Great Party Resort but wouldn’t bring kids

A group of 4 early 30s guys travelled here for 4 days and had a blast. We were in a pair of ocean front rooms and we don’t really have any complaints about anything. The food was excellent the rooms were clean and in good condition. My only suggestion is that you get the black bands which we had because apparently the lesser packages had a lot of things they couldn’t do. But black bands could do whatever we wanted. Didn’t have to wait long for anything. A lot of drug pedlars on the beech  [... read more]is another notable thing which is part of why I wouldn’t suggest it to people with kids also it’s just a bunch of people getting gooned so not super kid friendly.

Riu Caribe Cancun: Was a nice resort..

Took our first trip to a RIU resort last week- April 2018- Previous posted reviews are accurate the resort is quite nice, clean and centrally located in Cancun- The food was awful over salted etc. little day to day variety. The staff were the very friendly, helpful and engaging.. Rated as a 4 star likely more of high 3. All problems that did exist were easily overlooked. Improvements to the food would benefit the resort..

The Pyramid Cancun: Excellent

Despite other reviews we decided to give this resort a chance. So glad that we did! The pyramid had So many food and drink options, great service and amazing staff. Room was nice and clean, beautifully decorated. We traveled as a couple, 26 and 29 years old and must say there was something here for everyone. The pool area seemed to section off into family side and party side, while the entire beach was open with a convenient bar closely located for black and gold bracelet guests. Entertainment w [... read more]as pretty good aswell! No complaints from us, would reccomend to anyone looking for a luxury vacation. Food was amazing compared to other resorts we stayed.

Occidental Tucancun: Awesome Resort

We really liked out stay at Occidental Tucancun. The staff was amazing and helpful. All three pools were great, and so close to the beach! The vegetarian options at resort could be improved, but the drinks were awesome. THe 24 hour snack bar needs better options, especially for vegetarians.

Grand Oasis Sens: Don’t stay at Grand Oasis Sens

Worst all-inclusive experience ever. Staff was rude (except reception & bell boys). Rooms weren’t stocked, no alcohol in rooms except beer, supposed to be all inclusive? Bartenders would roll their eyes at me every time I asked for a drink, lights were out by midnight, food was mediocre, pool towels are rough, wifi connection shitty, just a brutal experience. I don’t recommend this hotel to anybody.

Temptation Resort & Spa: fun

this was an amazing resort. one complaint we were charged $70.00 for a stain on the duvet and sheet the first night we never changed our bedding for the duration.the rest of the stay was very enjoyable

Temptation Resort & Spa: Always a great time!

As always, Temptation Resort does not disappoint! The staff is amazing and go out of their way to make your experience a memorable one. The food and drinks were great - although the wine and bubbly is always way too sweet. It would be nice to see some other options. As well any sort of diet option for mix is impossible to come by. As a person who does not drink sugary drinks this made things a bit more challenging. The music was also way better this year - well done! It will make or br [... read more]eak the party. Check in is quite slow and it would be nice to see that process sped up somewhat. Especially since we had already checked in online ahead of time. In addition, there are often small children around the beach area and this last visit they walked up to the quiet pool area. As this is an adults only topless optional resort this was an extremely unpleasant experience. This is my third visit and the third time this has happened. It would be nice to see this issue addressed and rectified for future patrons of the resort. But, all in all - fantastic! The people (both workers and vacationers) truly make this resort a magical place!

Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: Fun Family Resort

Resort is nice and clean. Rooms are in need of a little TLC. Had read reviews prior to going down to resort and requested an odd number room as per construction of a new resort being built on the even number side. Was denied and informed that my family was put in the "Nicer Side". We arrived at our room to find 2 maintenance men painting the door - door was open and room was full of paint fumes. We enjoyed the pool(s), beach, and water park. Never had an issue with getting chairs/ loungers at any of the areas. Food court was decent. All staff (minus the check in) were fantastic. The Mexican and French Restaurant were our favorite! Avoid the lighthouse - food was 2/10. Big Ben was okay 7/10 - service was comical as the waiter looked like he would have rather been somewhere else. Even watched him sing happy birthday with co-workers to a guest and before the song was finished threw the balloon at the table and spun around on his heels to leave. Entertainment crew did a great job with kids and adults. Kids club was good and my kids (11,9, and 5) enjoyed going there. Not impressed that if we wanted our mini fridge to be stocked daily that we had to buy an additional package. Upon arrival we received 2 very small bottles of water (for a family of 5). and that was it. But you could order room service... So there is a way around it. Wi-Fi was free only in lobby. Might be an issue for some. Only had 2 TV stations available in English - one movie and the other a cartoon. Elevators were often busy - so we used the stairs quite often - sometimes the stairwell had a strong unpleasant smell. All in all majority of our time was spent 8-2 at the pool/ beach. Nap / quiet time in our room from 2-4. Kids went to kids club in evenings and my husband and I enjoyed our time. Things we learned: 1) important to travel with bubba mugs/ refillable water canteens - could have made better use of water hydration stations and the cups at this resort are quite small. 2) one bathroom for a family of 5 was challenging... Would recommend to a friend if cheaper. Not a 5 star, maybe a 3.5 - 4 star at best.

Grand Oasis Sens: Friendly crew, but not a big deal resort!

Hidden pool is the nicest place to rest, but be ready to wake up 6:30am if you want to ensure a nice place besides the pool. If you don't do that, people will put an old book and "reserve" the place for the full day. No restaurant 24h is a shame. The ALL inclusive actually is not all. The best restaurants require extra payment, something over 65 US dollar per person per dinner. Other pools have an awesome view of the ocean but are too shallow. It is a pool for babies!

Temptation Resort & Spa: Amazing Resort

The resort is great. The food, staff, rooms and service are excellent. The pool and bar at night and atmosphere around both are fantastic. If you can't have a good time there, I would find it very surprising!
