Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Still a favourite

This is my third time to this resort. The best place to go relax! The location on this Bay is perfect! I didn’t leave the resort for 7 days but whether it’s 4 or 14+ days. There are many shopping, walking, outings to take in if that’s your goal. It’s still a 2.5/3 rating. I’ve stayed at 4 & 5 star places and this is still a favourite. My group of 4 took in New Years there. The meal was amazing! The entertainment was ok, and fireworks were surprisingly fabulous! My only disappointment was the stinky smell of our headboards, and we never got face cloths in our room. Both kind of minor really.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Super

Facility, rooms , grounds in excellent condition. Food and service great. Good location adjacent to Bucerias with plenty artsans , markets, restaurants. Cold beer, easy and safe to wonder around . Great!

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Royal Decameron Complex, Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerias

Our family booked Royal Decameron for a Christmas carefree holiday and we LOVED it!! We were so pleasantly surprised that at least half of the vacationers were Mexicans and their families, others mostly Canadians. It's a great family resort, with lots of activities, ie, tennis, ping pong, shuffleboard, ceramic painting, etc. not to mention the great quality of their evening shows. The food, staff, rooms, restaurants, layout of the hotel blocks and pools, were excellent! And, Leopoldo, barten [... read more]der at one of the bars, was so quick with service once he knew you. Manuel, server at one of the restaurants, and so many other servers were just so nice and pleasant every morning! We really loved the layout and evening activities to stroll around in the evening and explore, see the artisans on site, and just enjoy the resort. The rooms were clean and spacious and our family was all together as we had our rooms close by. Bucerias was walking distance, good local food, and fun to explore and not too touristy. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Fantastic

Had a great time - paddle boarding, surfing, sailing, kayaking, beautiful paths, amazing shows, and dancing the night away, this place has it all. Food is great, the place is beautiful. Everyone was absolutely great - special mention to Carlos Yamazaki for being awesome all around and making the vacation memorable, Victor for making sure I had fun in the sun and the sea, Jesus for getting the party started, and Pepe for a great manicure. Housekeeping needs improvement- no clean towels for 2 days!! they eventually showed up but I was forced to complain. Overall all 3 of us had a blast even though we were all doing different things, and with all the exercise and stuff going on, we even lost a bit of weight, even with all the great food.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Will not return!

Too far from airport. 1.5 hours on bus. Hotel is very old and in need of major upgrades. Extra charge for safe in room. No fridge, hair dryer, ironing board, bedside clock in room. Beds are very hard and all of the furniture is falling apart. Have to ask repeatedly for extra bottled water at front desk. Food is only ok. Buffets have limited hours. Not all inclusive! Beach nice but very busy.

Occidental Nuevo Vallarta: Nice Resort but "less than expected "quality of services

It's a beautiful resort, clean and well kept. The beach was beautiful and we could walk for miles on the fine sands, good for beach lovers. -It wasn't the most of welcoming of check -in that we have been experienced. The front staff offered slow services and some appeared not knowing how to provide good customer service. -The room was nicely setup but it was too small for three adults. we had an exactly similar room as our son's with similar size and arrangement but he paid for two  [... read more]guests and we paid for three. Although we had paid triple and had requested a room with 2 double beds and one sofa bed, we were offered a room with only 2 beds, without sofa bed. We were given only 2 sets of towels, 2 glasses, 2 cups...and had to repeatedly asked the housekeepers for extra daily. When we asked the front desk that we had reserved a room with sofa bed, we were told that it's a busy time and they have none available but they do have one in the Royal level with an extra charge of 3500 pesos per day, or 2750pesos after the discount ( we had a discount coupon ). We told them that we don't need Royal service but just need a bigger room with enough beds for three persons, they then asked us to pay 2500pesos extra per day. We felt not being fairly served and decided to stay in the same room. -the wifi was another disappointment. They charge US$12/ day/ device. Unlike other resorts, there was no wifi available in the lobby at this resort. - the food was just ok. There were limited selection of food at the buffet in the first few days when we arrived, but we had better selection from The XMas day, though nothing special. The restaurants food were much better. We like the services at the Hacienda and Tokyo. - the entertainment were ok. We like the Michael Jackson show, but too bad the announcements were all in Spanish, possibly the resort wanted to entertain the majority of the Spanish speaking guests. -some of the staff were very friendly and some bartenders provided good services. We can't forget the good services and good conversations we had with Ricardo Marcos, Miguel, Jesus,... at the Hacienda and with the staff at Tokyo restaurants.

Riu Palace Pacifico: Amazing resort

EVERYTHING about this hotel and resort was supereme quality, the best customer service and we had the very best time. Very impressed, we are planning next trip back. Stuff was very amicable and welcomed

Riu Flamingos: Excellent

Really I can not find any words to describe it, I just want to say I will go there again as soon as possible. Wow wow wow amazing. First about safety and security, it was excellent,there where a lot of security garde every where , Second hotel was very clean and all the time people was working to keep every where in Side and out side of the hotel clean . Grand Palladium Vallarta: Terrible service

Starting at the airport: Disgusting timeshare vultures that tour company should help passengers get past. We were told to walk past and go outside but almost impossible to do without getting grabbed. Airtransat should have representatives to get you through this for the amount of money paid to them. At the resort: at check in given no towel cards and again a time share vulture waiting beside you to "give you information about the resort". You have to be rude and awful to them to leave you alone  [... read more]and get on with your vacation. The information given was "log onto the the travel club chat room to request a la carte reservations". No way was I giving my name and room number to be hassled more. Our room never had AC.. We slept with the screen door open to get cool. It was hit and miss to get clean towels and facecloths in the room and the correct amount. A la carte restaurants a complete joke. If they didn't outright say they were booked from 6 pm they would tell you to come back in 30 min and check in This would go on for over 2 hours. At one restaurant people were arguing with seating people as many of us waiting for over 2 hours with no results and restaurant empty. As we were standing there 4 people walked in and just sat down. Terrible. One al la carte was never open all week we were there. The buffet restaurant good food but terrible service. There was no water, juice or anything available for you to get yourself, it was all brought to you, if you were lucky. Three of us would sit and they would only bring 1 glass of water and refill only 1 at a time. ?? no sense. Even tipping didn't seem to help. VERY upsetting with the restaurants and service. It would be different if we only paid less than $1000 but when you pay premium money it's like your treated as a joke. Do they really have that many in the travel club that no one else matters? Maybe don't promote and lose your business as not worth wasting good money on. The resort itself was very clean and bathrooms always clean and decent which is very positive. Still lots of saving beach chairs and never seeing anyone in them most of the day. As for the honeymoon perks...JOKE again. There were no perks at all for the honeymoon couple.. They got no more than we did, travel club crap and a book or coupons to get you to spend more money. Also for the Christmas eve supper when enquiring about reservations for supper as trying to feed everyone at hotel there was none. No body was concerned at all. Of course it was a total gong show and we barely got a glass of water let alone anything else.

Been at Royal Decameron 5 times and looking to go back Great value and fabulous service Close enough to go into Puerto Vallarta Lots of pools including an adult pool 2 buffetts both with different sekwctions of food Always a great time People very friendly very clean

Tropicana Hotel: Poor excuse for a resort hotel

We paid extra for a superior room. The only superior part may have been a decent view. When we arrived we asked what the room was and requested a different one that we could at least make some of our own meals in. We were told they had no such rooms. A week later we ran into a couple that had a full kitchenette although they hadn’t asked for it and they couldn’t switch either. The air conditione [... read more]r worked when IT wanted to and constantly beeped throughout the night due to a faulty timer. We asked 3 times for it to be fixed but never was in the 2 weeks we stayed there. The cleaning staff were very good. That’s one positive. The front desk people couldn’t care at all about their guests. Even upon checkout never inquired how our stay was or hoped to see us again which they never will. I wouldn’t recommend the Tropicana to people I don’t like let alone a friend.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: 3rd Time's Still a Charm!

Our family of six (all adults) travelled from Regina, Canada to the Grand Palladium Vallarta December 14 to 21, 2017 for a pre-Christmas holiday. We all booked through TripCentral. It was Sunquest tour on a Westjet plane. We like to book the Sunquest better than the Westjet tour because the wait at the airport for your transportation is much less. This was our 3rd time here. Had the most amazing waiters, HERIBERTO and CARLOS. They treated us like family and we wanted to take them home with us. Four of us upgraded to the Royal Suites, so I think that got us more perks, plus much larger rooms. I love all the stairs. Being up on the cliffs gives the resort a lot of character and helps to wear off all the food and drink, not mention the beautiful views from up there. The drinks are NOT watered down. We really enjoyed the different cocktails at the Royal pool bar. The bartender there (can’t remember his name) made the best Cielo Rojo’s in the whole resort – thank you. Food was good as usual. Our favorite a la carte was the Ribs and More restaurant. They have the best BBQ sauce on their ribs. Had no problem booking a la carte’s, just went to the desk in the hallway at the front lobby and they helped us out. The app did not work for us. If you are in line at an a la carte by 5:30 you get in when they open anyway, at least we did. Found the WiFi to be fine, never had a problem, except it would not load the Palladium app. Took advantage of booking the spa for an 80 minute massage. It was wonderful as usual. Our daughter was sick for a few days, but she forgot to not use the tap water for anything except showering. Use bottled water even for brushing your teeth. Have no complaints, except maybe the pool was too warm, LOL, not really a complaint. You are in one of the most amazingly beautiful, friendly places, with great food and drinks. if you treat these beautiful people the way you like to be treated, you will have no reason to be unhappy. Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Great holidays

The hotel is clean and huge. Though you have to walk a lot if you are in bloque 6 to go to eat or to the beach. The food is amazing. The best A la carte restaurant was the Rodizio with more than 7 kind of baked meat. The beach is wavy but enjoyable. The staff is really friendly. The best thing we enjoyed were the night shows. Every night is a different one with high quality dancers. They are very professionals and every night you get amazed. The location is convenient as you can walk to the bank for better rate currency exchange.

Riu Flamingos: Great stay

I loved the resort , people were so nice and friendly , activities were so fun , I loved the room and how it was always clean when I came in by the end of the night the only thing is I would’ve preferred better music and different food ,

Barcelo Puerto Vallarta: Great Time!

Pros: My husband I had a great time and enjoyed all the amenities of the hotel. The hotel was clean, staff very friendly. Our room was nice and comfortable and kept clean. Cons: Only problem is that I got sick on the last night of our vacation, so not sure if it was the ice in the drink or the food. Also be wary of being caught by timeshare selling at the airport when you arrive -we were delayed with the timeshare pitch and took a taxi to our hotel instead.

Samba Vallarta: Great time

It was our first time for being to the Samba Vallarta. We had a wonderful time. The staff are amazing, so kind, polite and helpful and always ready to greet you with a big friendly smile. It is a family resort, but the way the pools are designed, youngsters had their own area with little slides, etc. Perfect set up. The rooms are a little dated, but we found them to be clean and comfortable. In regards to the food, I felt there was a good variety and one would never go hungry. The beach was clean, lots of seating. You can walk along the beach to the next town of Bucerias. I could go on and on, but to sum it up we would go back to this resort.

Barcelo Puerto Vallarta: Ok resort

The food at the buffet wasn’t great the restaurants were very good all in all a good trip but nothing spectacular the entertainment is really lacking if you go try and share whatever you can with the beach locals they really appreciate it 💕

Las Palmas by the Sea: Excellent Resort

Good food, excellent hospitality. The best Bar Tender is "The Famous David". Miguel from Activities is great at recommending the best tours. Antonio at the door will help you with everything you need carrying your suitcase and getting you a cab. Beautiful beaches! I recommend the destination.

Marival Emotions Resort and Suites Riviera Nayarit: Great family resort

Very kid friendly yet great for adults also. Food was good. Service was great. Will go back for sure. Everything went smooth and our family of 4 all would return. Liked the night shows also..good entertainment.

Riu Flamingos: Clean, Good Service, Convenient

The grounds were maintained very well. There were Christmas decorations throughout the resort during our stay a few days before the holiday. The buffet had a good variety and the first come first serve a la carte restaurants always had enough room. Our room was very clean and the maids always provided clean sheets and towels.
