Riu Dunamar: Sunny Days

We spent all of our time down on the beach, because as my Husband likes to say we have pools at home. Bar service and a beautiful beach for walking and getting a tan. The room was very modern and kept clean. All the food and drinks were great. Liked hanging in the sports bar, although no hockey games were on.

Riu Reggae: Amazing resort!

Everything was great, clean and comfortable! Love the atmosphere, the staff, the entertainment and the food. Interaction with staff always a pleasure. Cannot say anything negative! Great vacation!!!!

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Great resort !

Hotel was great, clean and a variety of everything for everyone! The best is that you can go to all of the RIU’s and the Riu Santa Fe pool party’s are a blast for dancing .. even if you aren’t a drinker like me!

Riu Santa Fe: Fantastic Resort

Riu Ocho Rios: Fantastic Resort

My family and I stayed at Riu Ocho Rios for seven days and we had a fantastic time. The atmosphere, food, staff, facilities and various activities were second to none. Over the years, my family and I have been to several Caribbean resorts and Riu is overall the best by far. Riu Palace Paradise Island: Always a pleasure

This was our 4th time at the RIU and we always enjoy our stay. Everyone is amazing. The grounds are beautifully manicured. The beach is great and the ocean brilliant. The rooms are clean and the food is delicious. I wish they would bring back making reservations at the restaurants though. I’m not a fan of standing in line for 45 minutes. We will definitely return!

Riu Emerald Bay: waste of a holiday

this hotel was our favorite place to go not any more up to a 16 min wait for elevators not very many reapeaters are happymany many mexican people no manners what so ever big storm while there all lower floors flooded out,

Riu Yucatan: Nice

It was good, good food however very repetitive. Loved the beach. Always able to find a lounger. The monkeys were so amazing by the bridge. Our rooms were spotless everyday. Next time I would choose the Riu Tequila.

Riu Palace Aruba: Amazing Resort

This was my second trip to this hotel and it did not disappoint, it was awesome. Very well maintained grounds and rooms and the people were outstandingly helpful and always ready with a smile. I will be back and recommend to all my friends. thank you, Mary Melanie

Riu Vallarta: Great Resort

Hotel was newly renovated. Grounds were freshly manicured and kept prestige at all times. Rooms were very clean [Not all rooms had new furniture - Junior suite - new bathroom but old furniture, and the standard room - new bathroom and new furniture]. Food was standard buffet but pretty good.

Riu Palace Las Americas: Awesome trip!

We recently stayed at this amazing hotel for a 4 day getaway. The staff, the food, the weather, the hotel! Everything was perfect! One of our best trips yet! We have been to a lot of resorts in Mexico and I think this is one of the best trips we have had! We will definitely be returning!

Riu Flamingos: RIU JALISCO

Overall the hotel lived up to its 4plus rating. Food was very good and the beach was perfect. Loved that we could walk for miles along the beach. The room was clean however needed a little TLC. Service and staff were pleasant and helpful. We had an amazing time and we’re very pleased with our choice.

Riu Playacar: Another great trip to Riu Playacar

This is the second visit to Riu Playacar in the last 4 years and it was as great as I remembered. This is a nice relatively small resort where everything is a short walk away. The staff are exceptional- unbelievably hard working and very friendly. Although we ate at the buffet the majority of the nights, it was great to not have to make reservations at the ala carte restaurants. We ate twice at the steakhouse and enjoyed both meals. Riu Palace Macao: Great vacation spot

My husband and I really enjoyed the resort and its offerings. Very clean rooms and surroundings. We particularly enjoy the buffet since it offered a variety of foods. Although they had several restaurants that you could go without reservations, we preferred the food at the buffet. Beaches are very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly. They only [... read more] drawback I would have is that this hotel would need renovations since it's dated and they would need to keep up with all the newer hotels in that region. All in all it was a great vacation.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great Resort

Second time we've stayed there. The hotel has been totally renovated and looks amazing. The grounds are well tended with two large pools, and the beach is beautiful. The food at the buffet as well as at the restaurants is very good and the service is spectacular. Definitely coming back again!!

Riu Palace Pacifico: We really had a wonderful time.

The food was very good. The beach was beautiful and the ocean was the warmest we have ever experienced. The room and grounds were very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. All was perfect. If I was looking for a flaw, the only thing I can think of is that there were too many smokers who were smoking around the pool and hotel, they limited where we could sit at the pool and beach but that did not let us bother our great experience

Riu Ocho Rios: Wonderful staff

Beautiful resort. The rooms are kept very clean, the housekeeping was extremely thorough and found the perfect balance between keeping my things organized and maintaining boundaries with my personal belongings. The staff was extremely welcoming and the entertainment at night was very good. The pool and beach areas were also kept very clean. There’s a separate pool in a secluded area of the resort for kids so while kids are allowed in the other pools it’s not overwhelming. Ocho Rios is a little bit of a drive from the airport, just over an hour but it’s a short drive away from the dolphin cove and Dunn’s river falls. The food was absolutely amazing! Zero complaints. There’s a variety of restaurants to choose from and the buffet consistently has your favourites if you’re not adventurous but offers other different meats and proteins to choose from each day.

Riu Palace Antillas: Pleasant Surprise

The hotel was kept clean, the grounds were well cared for with lots of shade, staff was very pleasant, hats off too FREDIE, and JUSTIN. The beach area is fabulous, very convenient to bar and bathrooms.The buffet was probably the best we have ever eaten at. Will be visiting again next year, thank you

Riu Emerald Bay: Wonderful vacation

Everything was well organised. I had problem anywhere throughout my trip. Resort fascilities was also very good. Ample choice of food were also there. Staff people were very cooperative and nice........

Riu Emerald Bay: Not at all impressed with this last trip

Nice upgrades to the new family area. Major upgrades needed to the existing Riu Hotel. Many issues such as problems with elevators being closed, floods in the bathroom, toilets not working and they are overbooking the resort. We need to wait another week for a change if any. We were given the second floor with no view, The front desk said the problem is with the Travel agency not giving them the proper requests. This was not the case because I had a copy of our TripCentral reservations with deta [... read more]ils outlining our request. We were told they had overbooked sorry and no change at this time. Overall not at all impressed with the service received on this last vacation. I had read may trip advisor comments and really did not believe that this resort has lost its charm. I will not consider the Riu again as there are many others! The remaining staff around the grounds and pool bar and coffee bar truly are truly faithful and committed to making you stay as pleasurable as possible.
