Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Great Vacation!
Had an amazing time at this resort. We are big into checking into other reviews before booking and this won our vote. We spent a week in the Sandos Select Club Adult Only area. We absolutely loved the extras we got including access to the premium club bars, the adult only section of rooms, adult only pool and an exclusive breakfast buffet. I would definitely upgrade to this again. As we had read in a few reviews before booking this area was furthest from the beach and quite a walk but that didnt [... read more]
Riu Flamingos: a great vacation spot
Great for families, good food and great hospitality. Nice beach and beautiful panorama. Very busy, but still lots of space to sit in the sun or shade. Our room had two double beds and one twin which was great for our family of 4.
Catalonia Royal Tulum: Beautiful spot
The hotel was amazing ans staff were outstanding! The walk through the jungle scene to get to our rooms and beach cannot be beat. My only issue was the annoying vendors who set up every other night and the food at the Spanish Restaurant was loaded with salt.
Temptation Resort & Spa: Amazing!! and so much fun..
This was our 3rd vacation at Temptation! The food is Excellent, lots of healthy options, through out the resort, such a fun and friendly atmosphere, the bartenders at Diego's ROCK.. The entertainment staff was the BEST .. We have our favorite servers and they remember us from year to year. It certainly has a party atmosphere for all ages from 21 to 80+. They have a quiet pool if that's your pleasure. We will be going back in January!!
Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Great Resort
As a family of 4 (2 kids under 7) we found the Royalton to be a great spot. The pools and restaurant options were great and the staff were friendly with the kids. The kids pool did have a problem with the small tiles coming off, but it did not affect our stay. We did see some people have cuts on their feet.
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great quality and value resort
Grand Bahia Principe Coba is a great quality and value resort for the whole family or on your own. The staff is friendly and professional and will go out of its way to help. The best area to relax while enjoying a nice cocktail at the end of the afternoon is located just outside the hotel at the back, close to the main entrance of the buffet restaurant. It is surrounded by palm trees where you can see colorful birds. The best section of the beach is located at the Akumal Hotel. However, you can [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful resort.
This was our second time at this resort. The first in 2011. We liked this resort so much then that we decided to go back again. The grounds are beautiful, well kept and mowed. The person who looked after our room did a great job, always lots of towels and bottled water, although I think that the lamp shades should be replaced. They were stained and looked dirty. The fridge was always well stocked. Loved the lobby, nice and big and the bathrooms were always clean and fresh smelling. The one compl [... read more]
Iberostar Selection Cancun: Great Easter Break Holiday
This hotel is just the right size--has all the amenities but still not overwhelming. Lots of activities available for teenage girls. Staff friendly and the entertainment staff really did a great job getting everyone involved . Resort was clean. Nice beach. Good food. Wonderful party/festive atmosphere.
Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Incredible Service!! Amazing Resort :)
We cannot say enough positive things about the Gran Porto Real Hotel in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Above-average service, beautiful surroundings, lots to do, tasty/cultural food, nice dining options, very clean!!
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great time with our toddler!
Had a wonderful time at this resort! Kids pool and play area was awesome and kept our daughter entertained the entire time. More live music at night would have livened the lobby up a bit. Would book again for sure
Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Clean resort with minimal facilities, food
We spent 8 days here & though nothing was terrible, nor was hardly anything good. Ok, the Mexican restaurant meal I had the one night I was able to make a reservation was amazing. But I woke up early (for me, it IS vacation!) to get down to the reservation desk for a restaurant that evening several times to find out that it was fully reserved. That desk is open 9-11, and I averaged a respectable 10-10:30am. We made it a total of once to the italian & once to the mexican. The night I finally scor [... read more]
Secrets Vallarta Bay: Excellent Resort
Secrets Resort and Spa exceeded our expectations. From the amazing staff who always made us feel special; the well prepared food that we were never disappointed with; the cleanliness of the rooms and grounds, always an abundance of pool towels available; the unique creations of the yummy drinks of the day; to the spectacular sunset serenaded by talented musicians in the lobby. One of the many highlights of our stay was the authentic Mexican Fiesta night on the beach - quite impressive!
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Family friendly fun
The grounds of the Coba and adjoining sister hotels are as stunning as they are expansive. The staff work tirelessly both inside in the buffet and other restaurants, shops and front desk, as well as outside ensuring all is well maintained. For families, the highlight for youngsters is hands down the water park from the moment the water turns on until the end of the day. The rooms, though not always the most soundproof, offer comfortable lodgings, they serve their purpose at the end of a long hot [... read more]
Casa Velas: Beautiful Resort
Finally a resort that actually lives up to their word. This resort is absolutely breathtaking. The grounds are immaculate, vibrant & we'll looked after. We stayed in the Grand Class Suite Plus & would highly recommend it. It was awesome having our own plunge pool. The food was top notch. The Beach Club was amazing & the pool at the resort was very nice. We never had any problems getting a spot around either pool. The staff here are by far the most friendliest people we have come across. This was [... read more]
Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Fantastic location!
We loved that this hotel was right in Bucerias and that we could walk to the markets and mingle with the locals! First time out of the country for my boyfriend and he loved the entire experience! The beach was also amazing - much nicer on the Pacific side!
Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: More tben we could of expected
our recent vacation at gran bahia principe tulum was wonderful..first of all i would have to say that we were so very well treated by our travel agent TanyaSmith from trip central. who worked so hard finding us a great resort.beach location and at the right price.. i had e-mailed tne manager directly from the resort and had requested that we were traveling 3 couples and we we like to have rooms i im the same villas if possible.. they quickly responded and said they could not promise but they wou [... read more]
Secrets Aura Cozumel: Nice quiet resort
Very nice room in the preference area. Limited restaurants but excellent food and no reservation requirement made it stress free. Good snorkelling and sailing right on the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful but not pushy. Enjoyed our stay.
Sheraton Buganvilias Puerto Vallarta Hotel: So clean and friendly!
My recent stay was absolutely wonderful! I especially enjoyed the comfy beds and white linens. I did not see any bugs any where. Food was great, lots of choice and top notch drink selection, also wine was available white and red which is not always at all inclusive resorts. Staff members were so friendly, especially Jorge Luise the activity director at the pool! I was disappointed that the beach was all rocky and hard to walk on in bare feet.
Grand Palladium Kantenah: Release those crocs!
Crocodiles on display had inadequate space and water habitat for quality of life. It pained me every day to see them in such conditions. My family consists of 3 adults but our third bed was inadequate for an adult. F & B were adequate. Thrilled to discover an espresso bar on the beach but were 4 days into our vacation already. Directory map was poorly done. Salt water pool was a long ride/walk & looked more like a cesspool...huge disappointment. Best efforts of crews to clear seaweed daily from [... read more]
Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Peaceful Retreat
The hotel was well laid out and very close to the beach. Rooms were sparse but with extremely comfortable beds. Food choices were plentiful and delicious. Drinks were premium quality and always served with a smile. The staff provided outstanding customer service and were eager to please. My only complaint is the evening entertainment was boring and needs improvement. Yoga and meditation on the beach is a delightful experience. Snorkelling is phenomenal and I highly recommmend it.
