Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Beautiful beaches

We had a great time at this resort. It was beautiful, well kept and very large. The beaches are private, so no one bothers you to buy something. There are two jerk chicken huts, we ate at them pretty much everyday we were there for lunch, delicious! Quieter hut is at the sunset beach further from the noise of the activities at the main beach/pool. The pool is enormous, so if you're a pool dweller, lots of space to swim freely. Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Great relaxing family vacation

I read a lot of bad reviews and was having second thoughts about the resort. Then I realized some people are stu#@d and are impossible to please. I was right. The hotel was great. We stayed in the newer part. Rooms were clean. Staff are amazing. Food excellent. Only complaint....not enough beef patties lol But honestly this place is really nice. Quiet and relaxing. Great place. Enjoyed it very much

Place is nice room very clean food excellent service is very slow That's was no representative for Sunquest there we had to call them in Canada to confirm the return Other than that it was ok thanksgiving

Riu Montego Bay: Amazing Experience

RIU Mobay was amazing for a first timer; staff were friendly and very helpful...’Excursions were the best part of the trip but the overall experience was great also; if one is friendly you can easily meet nice, genuine people through the hotels entertainment. Food was good, service was good but some of the bartenders can be trained more on making the drinks appropriately

Jewel Grande Resort and Spa: Fabulous resort!

We traveled May 3-10 and had great weather everyday that was mid 30’s with humidity. Rooms in The C tower were the most recent as it is the most recent tower. Very clean, great service, turn down service, etc. The grounds were beautiful, very clean, and always kept sharp. The service at the resort was amazing in the restaurants, at the bars, and even at the beach or pool side. No one expected any tips but they do deserve some for their hard work. The pools and beach were really nice and clean, the one ground keeper on the beach would clean the seaweed up 3 x per day as it washed up on shore. The resort had great entertainment in the evenings but never went to late. More of the resort was family or honeymooners. So was pretty quiet in the evenings. Overall was 5 star solid resort and would repeat here.

Legends Beach Resort: Totally Pleased

We needed a low key, no fuss, easy going vacation and got exactly that at Legends. The staff members are totally accommodating, friendly and helpful. As vegetarians, there were not allot of options, however, the staff went over and beyond to cater to our needs. Though not fancy, the room was clean and comfortable. Riu Montego Bay: Amazing resort

Jad amazing time great memories great resort loved the customer service only complaint would be the locals at the beach always hounding u to buy things you couldn't even walk the beach with out them bugging you

Sunscape Cove: Budget hotel at best

This was our third time staying at this resort. We had previously visited in 2015 for a wedding and in 2013 for a family vacation. In 2013 we thought the resort was amazing. When we returned in 2015 we still enjoyed our stay but felt some upkeep was needed. When we returned this time it was like a different report all together. The food was terrible, we lived on eggs and pasta the entire time. I would compare it to a very poor cafeteria style serving in a hospital. Just gross! All the other rooms look like a budget style motel complete with bedbugs an cockroaches 🤢. They finally moved us to a better room half way through our trip. It was way nicer but located at the furthest end of the resort right at the property line. Not exactly the safest for two women (grandmother and mom) and a child. Bath towels were hard to come by we always had to call and request more. They neglected to fill the mini fridge every day so we had to call down for water. the beach is nice but very small and you can only walk out about 15 ft and then you hit the seagrass were you risk stepping on sea urchin or getting stung by jellyfish (which happened to another young boy staying at the resort). The pools were disgusting as well. Tile chipping off the side and little bits of the pool lying at the bottom so you would step on it and hurt your foot. The water was dirty and rarely cleaned. My daughter ended up getting an ear infection from the water and we had to spend a bundle to see the doctor on call. for the most part the staff was incredibly friendly and you could see they were working really hard to make up for the deficiencies of the resort. It's a shame to see how far downhill this resort has gone, when with just a little bit of work it could be amazing again. At the repeaters party the management went on and on about being the most profitable resort in the Caribbean, clapping for themselves. I was appalled. They may be the most profitable but they're gaining that profit by overcharging guests and then lowering the quality of what people get. We tried to make the most of our vacation but it is definitely the last time we will ever return to Sunscape Montego Bay. There are far better hotels at this price point.

Excellence Oyster Bay: Great adult only resort

Not quite a year old. Long wait for room when arrived, despite resort only at 50% capacity. Restaurants still need some upgrades as it relates to times waiting and service, probably due to young untrained staff. Food was okay but not 5 star. Beach okay but doesn’t look like it does in photo. Nice to have room service included. Entertainment and its manager was quite good and varied. Only 40 minutes from airport. Room with pool was great, in blocks 5. Premium liquors available and ba [... read more]rtenders were very good, especially at Martini Bar. These comments are based on the higher cost of this resort and expectations because of that.

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Great resort

This resort is great for families and couples. Amazing grounds, with beautiful beach and pools. Tasty food at the restaurants and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Great evening entertainment for all ages.

Pros: Clean rooms Well manicured lawns, shrubs and flowers Excellent food in all restaurants and ala cartes Beautiful huge pool, cleaned daily and nightly Junior suite is perfect room size, bed was very comfortable Great water pressure for showering, toothpaste/toothbrush provided along with extra magnifying mirror, shavers provided as well Hallways where no rugs were, always kept clean Staff are always friendly and easy to talk with. Chovuanie Pringle was one of the best servers in the buffet dining room She’s fast and efficient along with a bubbly fun personality... we loved her! Ronaldo along with lots of other buffett staff, I don’t have the names but they were great. Elevators - good but slow Lots of stores to buy tourist items, T shirts, sundries etc. Good nightly entertainment can be found all around resort. Beautiful private spot for weddings. Cons: This hotel charges $30.00 US per day for. Wheelchair Some areas are not handicap accessible. Need more lobby bar staff at the bar in the evenings. Grumpy bartender by the children’s water play pool. He never smiled or acknowledged you half the time. Same with the server during lunch time in the buffet, she never made you feel welcome and you felt like you were bothering her . She wore purple lipstick everyday and do not know her name. The tours are quite expensive to go on. Jewelry store on site very pricey. Bag of chips are $8.00 & up per bag in the shops there.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Amazing Resort!!! Staff was always smiling and so friendly!!!!

The food was amazing and I'm a very picky eater. Hotel check in was quick and painless, no long lines. The grounds were always clean, staff was amazing, helpful and always smiling. Everything from booking the vacation at trip central, to check out time went amazingly smooth. I will and have recommended this resort to others and I will return. The hotel rooms were a bit dated but it was still amazing and reasonably priced.

Sandals Dunn's River: A little bit of paradise

The grounds were kept very clean. The staff was always busy making sure things were kept tidy. Beautiful flowers and trees made the grounds look amazing. Food was very good and there was always such a variety to chose from. The rooms were kept clean. Only complaint were the tiny bathrooms. Staff everywhere were very pleasant and accomadating. Enjoyed my stay.

Jewel Grande Resort and Spa: Wonderful!

Great views, great food, even better service. Top notch experience from start to finish! Had a problem with flight being delayed (Sunwing) getting to Jamaica. Hotel stepped up big time and upgraded us to a beautiful 1 bedroom suite with two balconies and impressive ocean, sunrise and sunset views! (thanks Avia) Jewel Grande Concierge saved the day at the end of the vacation as Sunwing delayed us yet again - for 7 hours - NEVER book with Sunwing, what a disaster! Gave us and the other three [... read more] stranded families a suite to use, access to the bar, pools and restaurants while we waited. It was like we never checked out! Would we go back?..... easy decision, YES!

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Royal Decameron

Staff were friendly especially Pauline in housekeeping. Rooms were in good condition and ground were well kept, over all resort was clean and well maintained. Buffet always had something for everyone but if you chose to eat later during the seating sometimes selections were limited.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful

The grounds were beautiful. The beaches even more beautiful. I loved how kid friendly the resort was my 3 yr old son and 4 yr old niece enjoyed all if it shows included .theres fun all around for everyone of all ages. I enjoyed the gym aswell The only complaints I have is the the flooring in the kids water park is extremely slippery. My son slipped twice and so did a dozen other kids as well as adults not to mention my sister who slipped fell on her knee and had 2 swollen toes. I hated the fact that our flight was cancelled and the front desk or Sunwing Representative did not see it necessary to advise us before we went to check out when they knew ahead of time. This was distasteful!!!

Let’s start with the good - we love Jamaica and the food and friendly smiles never disappoint. We wanted a quick getaway and we’re excited to be going. Upon arrival, check in was super smooth but when we got to our room, we were extremely disappointed. Instead of a view of the resort, pool or beach, we had a small enclosed balcony with a very poorly maintained bath tub. I guess the intention is to have privacy but I wouldn’t even wash my shoes in this. A la carte restaurants are very tough to book but if you get in the food is wonderful! They also have fun activities in the pool during the day and a decent nightlife. With a casino, disco and karaoke bar - you will always find something fun to do! If you’re looking for something decent in Jamaica, this place is definitely worth checking out - just make sure you’re not in building 23 and don’t expect the best beach.

Sunscape Splash: Very nice resort

Very Clean, good food, comfy king sized bed, great location, small but beautiful beach, very nice people. Resort is old but well kept...update those beach chairs and i'd be back in a heart beat! I've been back 1 day and i miss it already!!
