We enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff and clean premises. Efficient service. Needs transportation services within resort ie., trolley system that reliable. We would recommend. Other suggestions are to have good air condition systems in the rooms at least. To get a break from heat.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Iberostar Paraiso Lindo more positive then negative

The grounds are very lush and beautiful. It always very clean. The pools are huge and well maintained. Pool Water was a little bit too warm to feel refresh. But the ocean with turquoise water was fantastic some days and with sea weeds other days. The beach with its soft white sand is great for nice walks. The only negative point is for the buffet. It is small the food is just okay and too repetitive. The Restaurant ms were better. It is a resort that I would return to.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Very nice place.🌞

I like Cuba 🇨🇺 Very nice place and I have great memories . Awesome beach , friendly staff great food, clean rooms. I made beautiful pictures. I would recommend this great resort. Place where to return.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Amazing resort

The resort is huge as it combined 5 resorts together and can share all the facilities. Scuba dive center is amazing! All staffs are friendly! The pool and beach are beautiful! Only issue of the resort was there were lots of bugs or fleas or bed bugs and all of us got lots of bites. But Overall was a great resort!

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Sort of good

1) Rooms are average. 2) Beaches are fine. 3) Food is So - So 4) Communication between front desk staff and room staff - Very Poor. 5) Lights at night in the walk way are Very poor. (One afternoon I saw a snake on the walkway) 6) Presentation from Sunwing representative should be on the same day. (Lost two days due to this 1st day and 2nd day) 7) Drinking water - it was told that there will be 2 bottles every day. Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: BEST MINI CLUB FOR KIDS EVER, BIG THANKS TO THE STAFF

STAYED 2 WEEKS AT THIS HOTEL IN JULY 2019. THE STAFF AT THE MINI CLUB FOR THE KIDS WERE JUST SO AMAZING (PROBABLY THE ONLY GOOD THING THAT HAPENNED). THE HOTEL WAS CONSTRUTED OVER 2 YEARS AGO BUT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS 10 YEARS. CERAMIC IS BROKEN EVERYWHERE. BATHTUB LEAKING INTO THE ROOM. LIGHT BULBS WERE NEVER REPLACED. THEY REALLY SHOULD PUT SOME MONEY TO RENOVATE SOME AREA. THEY WERE REDOING THE BEACH (PUMPING SAND ON THE BEACH FROM THE OCEAN FLOOR) SO WE COULD EAR AND SMELL THE BIG DIESEL TRUCKS  [... read more]MOST OF THE TIME. THE BUFFET WAS QUITE GOOD AND THE SERVICE WAS FINE. THEIR RESTAURANTS WERE REALLY BAD (BETTER IN THE BUFFET). THE STEAKHOUSE WAS CLOSED. THEY CLOSED THE KIDS POOL LOTS OF TIME. I HAD ACCESS TO THE KAYAKS AND KATAMARAN ONLY A FEW DAYS WITHOUT NOTICE. I CAN KEEP GOING BUT I'LL WRITE FOR HOURS... REALLY NOT WHAT I BOUGHT ON THE INTERNET... THERE WAS NO BEACH AT ALL LIKE ON THE PICTURES...

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Family trip

Beautiful hotel, amazing pool and beach, nice star prestige amenities, some of the rooms ere looking old and tired . Mexican restaurant is the best , I would avoid the others . Great bar and restaurant staff including the housekeeping .

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Very nice resort

Overall very nice resort , amazing service at star prestige bar in the lounge as well as the beach . Very good breakfast and excellent lunch buffet , good Japanese and excellent Mexican restaurant, avoid all others for dinner . Beware of the some of the restaurant managers try to push for cheaper wine when you ask for star prestige wine list and selection.Kudos to the housekeeping staff as well as the bell boys and golf cart shuttle staff around the resort .

Iberostar Waves Quetzal: Could have been better

One bad meal broke the trip for me but my family did enjoy the resort since they did not eat the same food. This resort is in the PlayaCar complex and getting in from the airport took forever. I guess this is the price for security so plan ahead if you are arriving with kids. The 45 min ride took 1.5hours. The a la carte Mediterranean restaurant (black squid risotto with fried calamari) ruined 5 days of my trip which I spent running back and forth to the washroom. Let’s just say I am h [... read more]appy to be back home eating food I know I don’t need to examine before I eat it. The rest of my family did enjoy the entertainment team. The energy from this crew is top notch and the freshly made food on the beach is the safest bet. The sangria when they serve paella on the beach was a nice surprise. The entertainment team a lot of energy and offers lots of options if you want to get into the spirit of the resort. I should mention there is a lost and found which you should check as someone did take my slippers and I found the kids goggles at the lost and found. You need your passport to exchange from USD to peso and no one has small bills! Take lots of small bills so don’t have to scramble later. We had a ocean view room which was amazing. Especially if you are stuck in doors and you can relax(recover) while you order room service. Honestly I had a better experience at Melia resorts and upgrading to the level instead of paying the premium for a better room at Iberostar where you don’t get as much perks as Melia.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Best Beach in Cuba: Ensenachos

Ensenachos beach is gorgeous, best beach in Cuba. Service was great and the staff is friendly. Hotel grounds are well maintained. Rooms were decent and the food was ok. Great value for a family getaway.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Iberostar daiquiri 4+

This resort was beautiful , the grounds are very well kept and the beach is breathtaking . Staff are very welcoming and took care of every need . I traveled with a small child and a person with mobility issues and we had zero problems . Kids club , ramps etc . I would 100% recommend this resort for family's and couples looking for a mellow getaway !!

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Excellent location but poor services

We were impressed by the beaches and chef Luciano's gourmet food served daily at the buffet. The spark of these excellent marks was diminished by the lack of consistency in services, the fact that room service is ending at 5 pm and if you need an extra bottle of water they refuse to give it to you. We have to use the same beach towels for 4 days because nobody knew when they'll be able to provide fresh ones. The public toilets run out of toilet paper plus they were in a desperate need of repairs [... read more]. I found crouches running on my chair in the Japanese restaurant so our appetite just disappeared and we left the restaurant. The sofas and chairs in the main hallway need a very good cleaning and overall a good cleaning may help the hole resort. I will give a 5* for food and beaches and a 3.5* for services

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Pure Pradise!

We feel we were picked up and placed in Paradise! We stayed at Paradiso Maya with access to the other 3 resorts. Besides some restaurants, our two boys were happy to stay at the Maya - there was so much to do there. All the staff are terrific no question. The bartenders at the main bar in the Maya are a hoot!! The place is spotless the food wonderful. Bland never came to mind with the food. We would definitely recommend the place and would return in the future.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great little resort

Beautiful little resort. Very clean with beautiful grounds. Public washrooms exceptionally clean at any time during the day. Food surprisingly good, lots of choices of fish and meat for the grill. Lots of fruit, even my husband got addicted to mango. Nice and warm people. Definitely a place to come back.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Great Beach

This is an old resort that needs a lot of maintenance. The boardwalk to the beach had many holes and is very dangerous if someone miss steps. The beach is clean and gorgeous with white sand and aqua water with enough shades and lounge chairs. The food was not great, It's hard to find food any of us really liked or could get excited about. We did have some nice meals in the Cuban and Italian restaurants and the lobby bar makes amazing coffee. The staff were friendly everywhere and they  [... read more]didn't need to be tipped to get good service. One big problem was the golf carts that pick up and drop off guests. They were completely unreliable and the resort is very large. On our last day we had to walk with our luggage from our rooms to the lobby after a 40 minuet wait outside. We were in building 37 and it was quite a long hot walk. When we told the front desk they were not concerned in the least which was disappointing. We had a nice family trip but I have been to nicer resorts in Cuba

The food was great for Cuba. The meals were fresh The buffet had many food selections. The service at the lounge was slow. My impression was they weren't enough staff. If you are looking for a 5* this isnt the place. I have been to Cuba several times. The rooms in this hotel was good for Cuban standards The cleaning staff were good.

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Paradise

This hotel was just perfect. It is a small, quiet resort and the staff get to know you personally. The animation team and entertainment were excellent and engaging (but not pushy if you wanted to be left to your own). The pool is wonderful for lazing about and enjoying a drink or two. There is a small second pool for water polo or laps; something for everyone! The beach is pristine white sand with crystal clear water. There were plenty of chairs at the pools and the beach and lots of areas of shade. This is our third trip to Varadero, and by far our most enjoyable!

The Iberostar Selections Paraiso Maya is a 4.5-5 star resort. You will not be dissapointed. The Paraiso Maya is housed on the same property as four other Iberostar resorts. Guests of the Maya willchave full access to all amenities at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo, Iberostar Beach as well as the Iberostar Del Mar. The main pool is shared between the lindo and the Maya resorts. This pool is massive, so there will never be a time where you feel cramped. Minimum style room at the Parasio Maya are considered Junior Suites, complete with 1 king bed (or 2 doubles) and a sitting area. Larger than than the double standard rooms of Parasio Maya. Food was excellent from buffets as well as al a carte restaurants. Guests of the Paraiso Maya will find a slightly higher end available at the Maya buffets vs the Lindo buffet. Items such as lobster, crab legs, and various other seafood available.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Amazing Resort

This resort is very good, excellent people and the food is very good. The resort is only for adults I like because it’s more private. Everyone see you like a family. And the beach is clean and clearly and the people who are the entertainment like Suly, Jessica, Guisell, Joná and everybody are very nice.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Repeat customer...

We love this resort and are very much looking forward to our next visit. However, I was very disappointed to get an email from them charging my credit card an extra $100 for keys that we most definitely returned! I would appreciate that being put back where it belongs, on my credit card. It was very early morning check out and perhaps the concierge missed picking them up or forgot we gave them to him, but they were returned.
