Grand Oasis Palm: Great family resort

Nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. Good service. There are several pools and kids are welcome in all of them. Nice, sandy, sheltered beach which means little to no waves. Lots of beach chairs and umbrellas. Great location. Right beside the ferry to Isla Mejures and some pirate ships! Food is good but not great. Lots of options in the buffet but if you have specific dietary needs, you might be less than thrilled. Staff were not very helpful when I asked about gluten-free options.  [... read more] My kids didn't like the kids club. They thought it was too scheduled and not very fun. Their only other kids club experience was on a cruise and they loved that one. I'd stay here again. We all had a good time.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Worst Resort I have EVER stayed in, in my entire life

I will start by saying the beach and ocean was stunning and beautiful and the pool area was standard. I have NEVER in my life received worse service. My biggest issue was not being able to have water. I have never called down to a front desk to have them tell us they were bringing water up and just blatantly never came multiple times. We fought the whole 7 days for drinking water which is completely unacceptable! The room was also the worst I have ever stayed in. Filthy when we arrived. It serio [... read more]usly looked like the place got robbed as there was no furniture minus a broken table, metal chair and the bed. The walls are paper thin and connected to the next room with no proper door or lock. My partner and I could hear everything going on in the room next to us. The service at the restaurants was generally poor and the food was lower-medium quality. I felt like most staff was rude or stand off-ish and we tipped well so this was a big disappointment. You can only really get drinks in the pool and it was busy at all times, so getting drinks was sometimes tough. Their website gives false information RE: the upgrade to the black wristband. My boyfriend and I made the best of our trip but I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Super staff!

The food was excellent. The concierge was more than helpful when my husband got sick. The beach was beautiful and we had sunshine everyday. All the staff were happy to work there and it showed. They were amazing. I would highly recommend this resort.

Temptation Resort & Spa: Nice Resort

Grounds were impeccable in great shape and well kept at all times very picturesque. The food was very good the issue would be that during the day after lunch and between dinner there was nothing readily available to eat unless you went to your room and ordered room service. Suggestion would be to set up a BBQ hut off the pool area to offset all of the alcohol being consumed it may make for a better atmosphere. I told them I was in Jamaica and the pool was the most active party area during the day and the pool was warm and made it very comfortable for everyone to enjoy rather than have everyone sitting to the side of the pool trying to stay involved in the activities but staying out of the frigid water. The rooms were small but nice and up to date very clean and kept that way our entire stay. The views are lacking to say the least but clean and well kept just the same. The time share people are relentless and being sales for 23 years I understand their responsibility to the resort and the task at hand for them but No should mean No. The approach they took with us was, " Give us one hour of your time and by the time you have finished your breakfast you can tell us yes or no and at minimum you will receive a $500 credit for a one day pass for two to Desire. " We in fact sat for over four hours and politely told them on 9 different occasions that the program was not for us. Regardless we sat for the entire presentation only to learn that if you sit long enough the price comes down 500% but with all our patience we never did get our pass for Desire so very upsetting. The entertainment was good but only lasted an hour and so at 11pm if you are not prepared to simply dance like you are at a high school dance there is nothing left to do, very disappointing based on it being a resort of this nature

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun: Great resort!

I thought its a great resort for all the amenities offered in the price. However I thought it was not fair for me to have to pay for spa services that I booked but could not attend due to falling sick. Even after complaining to Front Desk and the Spa itself, they did nothing to rectify the situation and forced me to pay for those services even though i called in advance to try and cancel my reservation.

Occidental Tucancun: Superbe stay

Amazing the staff was the best rooms were clean the waitresses were one of the best I have seen polite smiling and attentive thank you very much we have just good comments unfortunately it was very windy the entertainment was Special

Grand Oasis Palm: Grand Oasis Sens

Cancun mexico is a really fun atmosphere. Grand Oasis Sens was a beautiful resort. The food was great, I was told this was a party resort but it really was not. Being an adult only resort there was a lot more of an older ground 30+. The service on the other hand was not great. I got to the resort expecting a beautiful balcony view only to find out our room has no balcony only a window. We tried to upgrade our room and the front desk people lied to us on numerous occasions about method of payment [... read more] and would change the price each day for the upgrade.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Great Hotel

It would've been nicer to have some service at the beach. There's no bar at the beach. Bartenders were limiting drinks. Perhaps it was because it was March break for certain countries. Food was mediocre at best. Buffet was the same old thing day after day. No meat no nothing no themes . Not much to do at night.

Moon Palace Cancun: Not As Expected

Had to pay for day passes ($210.00USD per person/day) to visit certain areas of resort as they were separated in 3 different classes. Beach was non usable due to heavy weed contamination. Resort credits were followed up with a 16% tax. Long waits, up to 1/2 hour or more for a golf cart taxi to get from one end of resort to the other. Food was no ore than average at the best. Constant heavy winds. Would not return.....Not worth the price paid...

Sandos Cancun: Great resort!

It was our first resort ever and first time in Mexico. The beach is clean. The staff is very welcoming and always smiling. The downsides are some staff members can be a bit pushy about their exclusive deals on the hotel chains and there’s not hot water. The room service is amazing. You can order even at 2AM! Also, the walls are not soundproof.

NYX Hotel Cancun: Very Clean and Helpful Resort

My Wife and I, and family stayed at the Hotel NYX Cancun the week of 17-24 March, 2018. Hotel Staff went above and beyond to meet our needs and expectations, up to and including waiters, entertainment personell, bartenders etc... The hotel grounds are quaint and well maintained. Very very clean. The Master suite is a must for a view of the beach and ocean. We were a group of 11 which gave a good insight to the selection of rooms available. Food was very good. Buffet for breakfast was as ex [... read more]pected and all other meals were al a carte. You could have as much and as many things off of the menu that you wished. It was presented well and tasted good. Lunch menu was always the same, but the Supper Menu changed daily. The Chianti Restaurant that is allowed twice during you week long stay is a must. The Italian Fare is excellent amd the atmosphere the same. All and all great stay and vacation, the location is centralized and close to attractions along the Cancun Strip. The only con was, there are a lot of steps throughout this resort.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Fun times but upgrade to black

The hotel itself is beautiful, but the rooms a/c hardly worked. You also have to pay for everything wifi, lockbox in room. Which they dont tell you from the start. Upragde to black membership also. The hotels restaurants were amazing for black members (vip) which made up for all the other stuff All in all great experience. I wouldnt go back because of the hotel, but because i set that place on fire haha ( not literally)

Grand Oasis Cancun: Beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful resort and beach! Food was good. Rooms were clean. Was disappointed with the lack of entertainment on the resort. Service was slow majority of the time. Could have been due to being there over spring break. Overall, very nice resort. :)

Grand Oasis Sens: Understaffed, over rated!!!

I absolutely hate writing bad reviews but I felt this was necessary. A group of 10 of us went and we did not have high expectations by any means but it was worse than we could have thought. This resort is very understaffed and run down. Water: we were never able to get water bottles at any bar except the lobby bar which managed to run out everyday meaning you could not get water bottles unless you ordered them through room service which costed 11$. You get 2 bottles in your room and that’s [... read more] it. Being in Mexico and in the sun it shouldn’t be such a hassle to get water bottles. Food: buffet is awful, very limited selection. Only open for breakfast and dinner. We had a group of 10 and could never get a table together, they made us seem like we were always bothering them when asking to sit together. Only 2 other restaurants you can eat at without a reservation and don’t cost extra. Moonlight the Italian was by far the best restaurant in terms of service and food. 8/10 people in my group got extremely sick from the food unable to leave the washroom for at least a day. Not how you want to spend vacation. Drinks: the bar rail alcohol tastes like nailpolish remover, when you ask for Smirnoff or absolute vodka they make it seem like you’re asking for a huge favour. There’s also a limited amount of bars around the resort- 1 at the beach, 1 in the lobby and 2 at the pool that’s it. They are extremely understaffed, it takes forever to get a drink at the lobby bar you really only get one at night before it closes. As well they ran out of beer across the entire resort. Rooms: only a sheet on the bed, we had ants all over our night table every morning when we would wake up, my friend had a massive cockroach in hers. Meanwhile we were in the grand sens plus which meant we were supposed to get a stocked mini fridge which was not stocked and there was no other difference. Walls are super thin you hear everything. Beach: beach is beautiful and water is very nice. Pool: great layout and super fun during the day. Entertainment: amazing entertainement staff and activities. Participate and you’ll have a blast!

Secrets The Vine Cancun: Very modern resort

Have been various Secrets in Mexico, like the chain but this is my least favourite...Disappointed in the food, drink was not be top shelf, ...........entertainment was very good, and pool area and beach were lovely... Room we were upgraded ,,wonderful just disappointed that they tried to ask us to pay for it,,,when we said no,,,we had the room anyhow.......Not the way to impress, Only recommend those who want a metro holiday not a resort holiday...

Riu Dunamar: Almost perfect!

We were very happy at the resort! It is new, so it was very clean. The beach, the food, entertainment, pools, were excellent! There were no bugs. Just be careful when buying excursion's from the Sunwing reps at the resort, make sure that everything is in writing and take a photo of the receipt. We were told by HECTOR at Sunwing that we are getting the VIP package, that's why we went on this tour to Isle Mujeras, and upon walking into the VIP lounge for lunch were told we do not have a VIP  [... read more]bracelet. I know it's not a big deal, but we felt so stupid. We verified with the staff at the island and indeed were sold a non VIP and charged for a non VIP, so, why did HECTOR tell us it was VIP that we were getting. We were expecting VIP!! This left a very bad taste in our mouth. It ruined an almost perfect trip for us. Such a shame.

Riu Dunamar: Amazing trip

We absolutely love the Rui Dunamar, the food the service was impecticable and delicious ,all the à la cartes were great. If you are going in an early excursion the sports bar as packed lunches. The service is awesome, the beach is beautiful and goes for miles, thé waterpark is great but hurts if you burn lol The management will sit with you if you have any issues ,we stayed week but wished we booked two! Visit isla mujeres , pay a taxi 20$ to go to ferry and then pay for a golf [... read more] cart 45$ a day bring your drivers license and enjoy what it has to offer, snorkel at the beach at Mia hotel for free beautiful fish ... all and all we enjoyed this vacay so much and we travel so much. The Pyramid Cancun: not happy waste of time

This resort is very loud noise,number one party place not for people going to relax we have booked in 5 star but doesn't feels that you are treated as five star accommodation never go back and recommended to any one who just going for relax. This vacation was waste of money and time for me.

All Ritmo Cancun Resort And Waterpark: Unique, quiet resort!

We loved it there! It was Clean, great food loved the buffet and fine dining! great staff they were friendly and very helpful! My kids loved the water park, fun day games put on by staff! The weather was fantastic

Riu Caribe Cancun: Beautiful beach. Amazing service.

The beach does not get any better. Very swimmable and clean. The service was impeccable from all aspects. Food was great. Drinks were great. Nothing of note to say anything negative about this resort.
