Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Great resort

This resort is great for families and couples. Amazing grounds, with beautiful beach and pools. Tasty food at the restaurants and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Great evening entertainment for all ages.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Relaxing Resort!

Pros: Clean rooms Well manicured lawns, shrubs and flowers Excellent food in all restaurants and ala cartes Beautiful huge pool, cleaned daily and nightly Junior suite is perfect room size, bed was very comfortable Great water pressure for showering, toothpaste/toothbrush provided along with extra magnifying mirror, shavers provided as well Hallways where no rugs were, always kept clean Staff are always friendly and easy to talk with. Our housekeeping lady, Shakekeisha L. was such a sweetheart and an amazing house cleaner. She always had a smile on her face, we really liked her. Our room was always immaculately cleaned. Chovuanie Pringle was one of the best servers in the buffet dining room She’s fast and efficient along with a bubbly fun personality... we loved her! Ronaldo along with lots of other buffett staff, I don’t have the names but they were great. Elevators - good but slow Lots of stores to buy tourist items, T shirts, sundries etc. Good nightly entertainment can be found all around resort. Beautiful private spot for weddings. Cons: This hotel charges $30.00 US per day for. Wheelchair Some areas are not handicap accessible. Need more lobby bar staff at the bar in the evenings. Grumpy bartender by the children’s water play pool. He never smiled or acknowledged you half the time. Same with the server during lunch time in the buffet, she never made you feel welcome and you felt like you were bothering her . She wore purple lipstick everyday and do not know her name. The tours are quite expensive to go on. Jewelry store on site very pricey. Bag of chips are $8.00 & up per bag in the shops there.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Amazing Resort!!! Staff was always smiling and so friendly!!!!

The food was amazing and I'm a very picky eater. Hotel check in was quick and painless, no long lines. The grounds were always clean, staff was amazing, helpful and always smiling. Everything from booking the vacation at trip central, to check out time went amazingly smooth. I will and have recommended this resort to others and I will return. The hotel rooms were a bit dated but it was still amazing and reasonably priced.

Sandals Dunn's River: A little bit of paradise

The grounds were kept very clean. The staff was always busy making sure things were kept tidy. Beautiful flowers and trees made the grounds look amazing. Food was very good and there was always such a variety to chose from. The rooms were kept clean. Only complaint were the tiny bathrooms. Staff everywhere were very pleasant and accomadating. Enjoyed my stay.

Jewel Grande Resort and Spa: Wonderful!

Great views, great food, even better service. Top notch experience from start to finish! Had a problem with flight being delayed (Sunwing) getting to Jamaica. Hotel stepped up big time and upgraded us to a beautiful 1 bedroom suite with two balconies and impressive ocean, sunrise and sunset views! (thanks Avia) Jewel Grande Concierge saved the day at the end of the vacation as Sunwing delayed us yet again - for 7 hours - NEVER book with Sunwing, what a disaster! Gave us and the other three [... read more] stranded families a suite to use, access to the bar, pools and restaurants while we waited. It was like we never checked out! Would we go back?..... easy decision, YES!

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Royal Decameron

Staff were friendly especially Pauline in housekeeping. Rooms were in good condition and ground were well kept, over all resort was clean and well maintained. Buffet always had something for everyone but if you chose to eat later during the seating sometimes selections were limited.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful

The grounds were beautiful. The beaches even more beautiful. I loved how kid friendly the resort was my 3 yr old son and 4 yr old niece enjoyed all if it shows included .theres fun all around for everyone of all ages. I enjoyed the gym aswell The only complaints I have is the the flooring in the kids water park is extremely slippery. My son slipped twice and so did a dozen other kids as well as adults not to mention my sister who slipped fell on her knee and had 2 swollen toes. Also our room had [... read more] a funny smell to it and never enough towels and I had to go through 3 room cards , other then those things we had an amazing time .

I hated the fact that our flight was cancelled and the front desk or Sunwing Representative did not see it necessary to advise us before we went to check out when they knew ahead of time. This was distasteful!!!

Let’s start with the good - we love Jamaica and the food and friendly smiles never disappoint. We wanted a quick getaway and we’re excited to be going. Upon arrival, check in was super smooth but when we got to our room, we were extremely disappointed. Instead of a view of the resort, pool or beach, we had a small enclosed balcony with a very poorly maintained bath tub. A la carte restaurants are very tough to book but if you get in the food is wonderful! They also have fun activities in the pool during the day and a decent nightlife. With a casino, disco and karaoke bar - you will always find something fun to do! If you’re looking for something decent in Jamaica, this place is definitely worth checking out - just make sure you’re not in building 23 and don’t expect the best beach.

Very Clean, good food, comfy king sized bed, great location, small but beautiful beach, very nice people. Resort is old but well kept...update those beach chairs and i'd be back in a heart beat! I've been back 1 day and i miss it already!!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Wonderful vacation.

The Bahia is a beautiful resort. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make your stay special. The place is beautiful and immaculately clean. Our room was super clean and very comfortable. The food was outstanding. I would visit again without hesitation!!. I loved it!!

The resort was absolutely perfect, the staff was very friendly and professional in every way humanly possible. The food was very good and the accommodations were perfect. I would highly recommend booking all future vacations with trip central as there knowledge and professionalism is top shelf.

Mangos Boutique Beach Resort: Honest Opinion about Mangos Boutique

To be completely honest, this resort has full potential. It was rated 3 star but in our opinion it would get a 2. My sister and I went to this resort to get away, relax, eat unlimited food & drink and to tan. We'll cut our review into parts.. Starting with the food: They have set dining times and if you don't attend those 3 sloths, you're not eating. When we arrived (approx. 4PM) we were STARVING. we asked the front desk and said theres no food until 730PM. we had to wait 3.5 hours to eat. Lu [... read more]nch was our favourite, we enjoyed it. Really good. Dinner was alright, doable.. Breakfast wasn't that great. Second, The room: we stayed in the Ocean front room. The room and view was beautiful.. It just had poor lighting. The toilet kept running, our sink handle was missing and at times we didn't have warm water. There were no drinks (not even water bottles) in our fridge. Third, the Exterior of the resort: Pictures aren't current AT ALL. Its very run down compared to whats shown on the site.. BUT I do see the vision and as we mentioned it does have potential if maintained CLEANLINESS.. Fourth, the beach/Pool: The beach view and water was nice, but lots of seaweed. The beach had too many locals and so it was hard to have quite time because we kept getting bothered. They did not take NO for an answer. The Pool, slide and hot tub was very dirty. You can tell it's not maintained whatsoever. Fifth, the Staff: Other than the male receptionist, and the female host for the evenings event. The rest of the staff weren't very friendly. They made it seem like we were a burden. Every time we had inquires or ask for more drinks or another plate of food, they would give us attitude and roll their eyes/suck their teeth as their walking away. It just made us extremely uncomfortable. We didn't feel welcomed at all. Staff were also lounging around not really working. During breakfast the staff would enter our dining area and start making a plate for themselves. Next.. the drinks: It was good, I enjoyed it. Not watered down, good amount of alcohol and made great Pina coladas and Bahama mamas! they claimed it was an "all inclusive resort" BUT the bar is only open from 12PM-11PM. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone. It was just a bad experience overall. I hope they do turn it around because it can be such a great resort if they put the effort and proper training into the staff. Also, lots of seniors!

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Not for us

My husband and I stayed at the Azul Sensatori Resort in Negril in mid April. After reading so many of the other reviews of this resort, I find it hard to believe we were actually at the same place! I guess it all comes down to expectations and personal preference. This was not the resort for us. This was our 8th trip to Jamaica. Our expectation for our vacation was for rest and relaxation and escape from our busy lives. We got none of that at Azul. Our room was in block 8, second floor, overlooking the swim-up bar. So as you could imagine, during the day there was a lot going on below our balcony. After a day on the very busy, crowded beach, we weren’t able to come back and chill on our balcony in the afternoon due to the noise and commotion. Unfortunately for us, there was no end to that at night as the people below us chose to congregate and party outside their room until the wee hours of the morning. This resulted in very little sleep for us. We did mention the issue to our concierge and they offered to change our room but given that there are no rules as to noise at night we realized there was no guarantee that another room would be quieter. This resort has a lot of buildings on their strip of land. Everything is very concentrated with no real open areas or greenspace or areas for groups of people to get together and party….not a good set-up for people who want peace and tranquility! The food was just ok. The buffets were mediocre at best. The Ackee Restaurant was good, with a nice ambiance overlooking the ocean. We did not eat at the Hua Hin Restaurant due to allergies. The La Romagna Restaurant was excellent but required a reservation. We managed to eat there once, then made a reservation through the concierge for a second night, following the ‘48 hour ahead of time’ rule, and had a confirmed reservation for 8:15 on Friday night…when we showed up for our meal we were told they had no record of our reservation and they could not accommodate us….very unprofessional! We ended up eating off the resort on two nights. This is definitely not a 5 star resort, and definitely not worth the money. There are a lot of resorts in Negril…stay somewhere else!

Club Ambiance: Wonderful staff and atmosphere

This hotel is outdated,when you first get there and you see it you think oh my what have I gotten myself into.You enter and the warm welcoming atmosphere and the staff make this a great place.There are some flaws with the food but the staff definitely make it worth while.We would definitely go back there,and will next year!

Sunscape Splash: Good resort

This resort was nice food was good and rooms were clean. Other than people smoking pot in the rooms and stinking up the floor we were on it was good and security took care of the situation right away. Don't expect a 5 star resort because this is not. After a week there we were impressed with all the amenities and food. We would go back to this resort again with our children.

Couples Sans Souci: Home

Couples San Souci is a lovely sprawling 150 room resort. The grounds are one of the many features that keep us returning year after year., that and the staff. It truly is like going home, as you are remembered by staff members after only one trip. It makes returning an amazing feeling. Rooms are functional, not all glamorous like some other resorts, if you are looking for glass and marble this is not the resort for you, however if you are looking to reconnect with your significant other, hav [... read more]e great food, and ambience then this is the place for you. Beaches, there are two, one clothing optional, an the other a regular beach. Both are on the smaller side, however there is no public access to them both, so you do not have the vendors on the beach, which can be both good and bad, if you like people watching. Food is great, they will go out of their way to make sure all dietary needs are met, if you are gluten free, vegan, allergic, or vegetarian, regardless of your needs your covered. This resort has a 90% return rate for a reason!! Gym, inside and air conditioned. Spa, amazing! Room service, prompt!! Again its like going home.

Couples Tower Isle: Wonderful romantic holiday at Couples Tower Isle!

Almost everything about this resort was nothing short of wonderful! It was worth the long drive from the Montego Bay airport (~90 min), still got a nice scenic drive. The resort is well taken care of, the room we had (deluxe ocean view) was spacious enough for us and I like a nice room! The dining choices were all exceptional, even the buffet was amazing (and I have never said that of any buffet choice at a resort). The only thing that I found bothersome was the veggie bar by the beach. This [... read more] was one of the reasons we booked at Tower Isle, this was promoted as having healthy smoothies and juices with some meal choices as well (we are veggie people) - well, that much was true but the service was horrendous. Not sure why, everywhere else had fantastic service. Disappointing but we made do. The entertainment was always exceptional. And I cannot say enough about the staff - they worked tirelessly to set up, tear down (and so on) each new event taking place. Amazing!

Couples Swept Away: Amazing Beach

The food and drink at CSA is top shelf- we are multiple visitors to CSA only 1 night where we disappointed with our meal at lemongrass overall food is 9.5 out of 10 loud screeching noise from jacuzzi first 2 days but was rectified by management we needed an extended check out and front desk staff graciously accommodated our request we left belongings in the safe by accident CSA called as we were on the shuttle to the airport to inform us made arrangements to ship belongings back to us we [... read more]ll done by all front desk to make this happen!!
