Brisas Covarrubias: just cannot be beat

Best dollar value in the Caribbean!!!! Almost impossible to beat the staff and the beach. I’ve been 14 times and consider many of the staff friends. I plan to visit again in March and again in November.

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Worn out

Think this is my last time for this place. It is getting pretty worn out. Too little repairs too late. There is a huge 5 star going up next door that will consume the beach which is its only saving grace.

Brisas Guardalavaca: It feels like home to us

The grounds are well kept, as is the lovely beach. The food is, well, Cuba. The a la carte restaurants are much better than the main buffet. I always stay in the Villa section now, as the rooms are larger and newer. We did have a leak, in the bathroom above the toilet. We were told it was from the AC, but we weren't running the AC. The staff here are always friendly and welcoming, that's why this was my 7th stay here; it feels like home.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Great Resort

I stayed in the deluxe area and the rooms were large, clean and quiet. Food was great, you were always able to find something to suit your taste buds. The nice part was you did not have to stand in a line in the morning to book your a la carte, you just go to the restaurants when wanted. The staff were all very friendly.

Many things are out of the list, and many things are old and weary... but, it is still worth it to go! People do what they can... Some features on the list are out of the service... but location - is really the best! Ocean and the beach - will always be for you there!!!

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Fun place to go

It’s not fair to hold them to our standards. They give all they’ve got. Shortages that they can’t control like not having butter. We can live without it anyway. Friendly, kind and caring staff. I’m sure I’ll see them again

Brisas Covarrubias: Great beach

The resort it self ,not the same as a couple years ago.Many Canadian's are not returning . In January we only had 50-60 tourists . Last year the same time, it was full. Insane amount of mosquito's sand fly's made our stay uncomfortable.There is no money to take care of the issue. The food quality , choice's compare to last year were bad. No fruits on the first week period.They must to change the Chefs there as well. Disko is permanently out of service. Cleaning ,worse then last year ,I fe [... read more]lt the cleaning ladies only did they job ,if you left something on the bed. Safte is not as good . Some times both side of the resort are many locals walking on the beach .They also leave a lots of garbage The beach is still beautiful, just don't walk out of the resort. Hot water we only had on the last day.

À lot of steps.... little nice beach... Nice room.... good food.. good animation ...good coffee at the lobby, good mohitos lol, good people, good température, nice beach, good service, we enjoyed our sun vacancy:)

Sol Turquesa Beach: it was ok resort

this was my first trip to Cuba, many people said i wouldn't like the food. the food was good. the grounds were too big, there was never any hot water and the bugs ate us all which made for a very unpleasant days of scratching.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Beautiful resort- excellent staff and service; good entertainment,

The grounds were immaculate with beautiful landscapes. Rooms were cleaned daily and fridge in room was replenished daily with water and drinks. Overall comfortable stay. Exceeded expectations. There was nine restaurants so the many varied menus including the buffet offered a great variety of food. Some of my favourites was the fresh fish and ice cream. The entertainment was plenty and there was something for everyone.

Friendly staff ok food but great sceneray and the price just should have been better I like the rooms and the service but the price to stay in this resort was too much I will be visiting the same location as holguin is a great place to be.

Hotel was pleasant. Tip if you want good service. The pool was nice and the beach was clean. Good fun for a good price. However dont expect to eat like a king or queen. Over all good experience. Thanks air transat.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Fantastic Vacation!

This resort was awesome. The deluxe room was perfect for my boyfriend and I. The food was the best I've had in Cuba. The beach was beautiful. The staff were wonderful. I would definitely come back to this resort.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Une place pittoresque

Un hôtel à prix abordable, situé sur une belle colline avec beaucoup d'activités. La plage est intime est bien sécurisée (pas de vendeurs des souvenirs). Il y a des algues. Les restaurants sont comme si comme ça, 3 sur 5 comme presque tous les hôtels à Cuba . Personnellement j'ai aimé le voyage peut-être je vais revenir là.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: The grounds of the hotel were nice and well kept.

We were disappointed when we arrived, we were told it was a 4.5 star and I would say it was a 3.0, The rooms need to be updated and our room was above the kitchen area, so we kept smelling the odours of the food and that was on the third floor. The curtains were falling off the rods, so we couldn't close, we reported it and it was never fixed. The TV wasn't working, they fixed it but left all the loose wiring on the table and the floor. It was my 60th birthday on New Years day, and all they did  [... read more]was change the table cloth to make it look different from the other tables. And to top it off, the last night I was visited by a huge cock roach in my bathroom. (what a disappointment) Food was okay from the buffet, La carte needs to improve. If I ever go back, it will be to the newer section. New Years eve celebration was okay, but too long to entertained.

Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Great vacation

Nice resort, clean rooms. Food lakes variety, but considering that this is a 3* resort in Cuba..... you will however always find something to fill up your plate with. The operating hours of the bars are a bit confusing, but once you get used to the schedule you know were to go for coffee or drinks. Great beach and good night shows. Cubans guests are cutting the lines at the bars but you are on vacation so relax and send them back in the line.

Playa Costa Verde: Good spot for families

Great spot. Has everything. Not a place to go if your single. Large hotel. The little club inside is dead because no singles. Weather was amazing. They ran out of bread and tequila at the hotel. Limited selection of booze. No ginger ale, or cranberry juice to be found. They don’t know what a mudslide is.

Playa Pesquero: Massive Resort!

We enjoyed a great taste of Cuban foods! It’s awesome how every reateraunt serves different styles/variety of foods. Beautiful weather with 30+ each day! The snack bar and swim up bar were our favourite! Definitely would come back!
