Riu Flamingos: Great resort

Clean, pleasant staff, good entertainment, great food, lovely Christmas decorations. Only complaint would be, no Wifi available in rooms, but they are working on it. Would love to have coffee maker in the room!

Riu Vallarta: Super great stay

I have nothing bad to say. Good food, drinks. Super clean. What we enjoyed most was all the live bands they bring in. The evening entertainment is so fun. Only bad thing was family rooms next to ours so it could be noisy during the night and early morning. You can’t go wrong here

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Beautiful Resort

The resort is fantastic, the staff are friendly and accommodating. We had a great time lots of restaurants to choose from as well as 5 pools to relax around. The beach is gorgeous and yes you can walk for miles down the beach in each direction. Very clean both the accommodations and beach

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Mediocre resort

The hotel was ok. The rooms were a good size. Beds were old and uncomfortable. We asked for a cot because we had two children and they brought in a 3rd bed. Had no room to move. Food was absolutely awful, they only made 3 waffles at a time. No bacon. Undercooked sausages.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Iberostar

We travel 2 times a year to hot destinations. This hotel I would rate as a 4 star. Considering what we paid I could not justify the cost for what we got. We have been to so many Mexican resorts and sadly this one I would not visit again. We had a great time however the cost on this one, I truly was expecting more.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Amazing family friendly resort

Really amazing family oriented resort. The animation was great, entertainment team really worked hard. The beach was awesome. Very friendly and helpful staff. We are going to this resort next year again.

Everything is great about this resort. Easy to get around, always lots of pool and beach chairs and no waits for food. Did not care for the reservation method for the La Carte but works for them. No beach or pool services however lots of bars just steps away. Staff were all great

we can't say enough about our two week stay at the fiesta americana . it's a beautiful resort and very well kept . the resterants were all very nice and the food was excellent .our room was very well kepted . the pool and beach areas were very spacious and well kepted too. we will definitly be returning to the fiesta americana. thank you for a wonderful holiday .

Playa Los Arcos: Amazing hotel

Perfect location. The Beach fun so close and staff to set you up. Yes the hotel is aging they seem to be working all the time. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, really comfortable and clean. Fluffy bath towels. Fantastic maid. We got everything we asked for. As I said need to spruce the rooms up a bit ..food was good ..drinks were awsome..nice pools. Could of used 2 working elevators!! The amazing ..amazing thing is the staff!!

Las Palmas by the Sea: I like this resort,have been here before, very good value, just never had the negatives before!!!

Everything about this resort was exactly as expected with the exception of arrival, booking in and the room we had the first night. Checking in became a huge problem, despite having three requisitions for the transat flight and the room the desk said they were not correct??? Don't know why or what was wrong, My name was right there in their computer for the appropriate days, they said we would have to wait till they completed the crowd check in and then they would verify my reservation, I sort o [... read more]f lost it, I had payed for this trip more than two months ago. We finally got our room, dark dingy in the corner, security lock did not work, door did not fit properly, toilette seat was broken, bathroom was not clean and there were no towels and it turned out there also was no hot water. After more aggravation, we were move the next day but we did not receive keys to the room till mid afternoon so we had no place to go and they moved our luggage so it was also unavailable to us. Fortunately things improved for the time remaining. .Interestingly not once did I hear any apology or even concern for the problems they had caused!!!!!

Sheraton Buganvilias Puerto Vallarta Hotel: Nice resort

very nice hotel . at night too loud the music too many drunk people. in the pool big problem for the children and adult.........everyone smoke like a chimney. food is good ,staff friendly. As all the resort they will invite you for a presentation of time share.

Riu Flamingos: Great time!

The resort is beautiful, clean and quite big. The rooms and bathrooms were well kept, and I have very high, specific, standards (some would say princess) when it comes to this. We did ask for new sheets as there were random hairs (assumed to be from the house keepers) but they came up and changed them very quickly. Staff was great although many don't speak english apart from the lobby staff. We simply left the DND sign up the entire trip and requested things needed while we were present. NO issues. Drinks and food were great too, buffet has the better variety IMO. There is an Asian restaurant behind the Mexican one that many seemed to not notice. Beach has darker waters but many told me it's due to the season and obviously this has nothing to do with the hotel itself. ATV tour is highly recommended. Take a 10 minute taxi ride to the nearest city or I found out later you can WALK along the beach to the same market.There is an AMAZINGG restaurant that you MUST try "Seafood the Fat Boy" I wish I found it sooner. Street level is hotel after hotel so for those who like to explore you would need to take a cab out further or walk along the beach. If looking to party in the city, we took a 40 min cab to a club called Mandala. Beautiful club and fun, safe, vibe. Overall amazing trip, left too soon and I would definitely return!

Hilton Vallarta Riviera Resort: Fantastic Resort and Staff

Upon arrival walk into beautiful lobby to fantastic view of ocean set the tone for a great vacation. The staff went above and beyond consistently ensuring we had a great experience. Food was great and good selection. Entertainment top notch, not sure why but attendance not the greatest. All I suggest they missed some good shows. Great selection of bars. If you're going for the beach maybe not for you.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Good place to recharge your batteries

This was our second time at Iberostar playa mita. From the beginning the hotel stuff made us feel special, VIP even! The room was clean, the fridge was stocked daily with plenty of water, pops and beers. The food in the restaurants was well prepared but a bit salty to our taste. Secrets Vallarta Bay: Great Week Away

This hotel is a great spot located very near to Puerto Vallarta downtown. While on the same property as the Now Amber, there is great division between the two and we never saw any children (Secrets is adults only while the Now is for families) in our week's stay there. Food was great with our favorite being the French restaurant. Finally the Preferred Club bar has great top shelf liquor with great service. Thanks for the great week Secrets!

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Beautiful Resort

The resort was stunning and clean and gorgeous! The selection at the buffets was perfect! The weather was perfect. My husband rented a jet ski and went kayaking and on a bicycle tour. Very relaxing.

Samba Vallarta: GREAT RESORT

VERY NICE SMALLER RESORT, PEACEFUL GOOD FOOD AT BUFFET LOTS OF SELECTION A LA CARTE RESTAURANTS VERY GOOD FOOD, TOP QUALITY LIQUOR, LANDSCAPING WELL MAINTAINED, STAFF ALWAYS CLEANING FACILIITIES, EVERY MORNING POOL AREAS WASHED AND CLEANED, STAFF AMAZING ALWAYS HELPFUL VERY CHEERFUL AND ENJOYED WHAT WHAT THEY WERE DOING. Friendly Fun Vallarta: 5 star staff!

Had a great week. We were a little worried when we found 3 teams of young soccer players staying there but they were all so well behaved it was a pleasure to see them having fun at the resort. We had our first trip there in January 2017 and decided to go again in November. After going to many resorts in different countries we were surprised at how many people we ran into that bragged about the number of times they have been to Friendly Vallarta..5, 10 and even 18 times. The staff are always helpful & smiling an go the extra mile. We had a few issues with our room and they had them all resolved the day after we arrived. Don't expect a five star resort, but if you want comfortable with 5 star attitude this is the place to stay!

Riu Flamingos: We give it 2 stars

We have stayed at RIU HOTELS 7 times in the last 5 yrs. Don't get us wrong it is a beautiful resort. Our problem is with customer service, I am writing this while we are still at the resort. On Monday night our night of arrival the stair lights were out and we had 4 flights of stairs to walk up. On 8Thursday night we went down for dinner only to find the lights out again. I told her it was sore and they offered to call a Dr. Was told the cost would be a $100.00 to see the dr. We told them it was because the lights were out, they were gracious enough to offer us $20.00 off the cost of seeing the dr. There has not been one call or knock on the door to see how I am doing. Loved staying at the RIU's but this is our last time as we now see them as wanting your money and not a care at all about your health. When we checked in with the SUNWING rep regarding our flight home, we told her about the incident. She got right up and took us over to the Public Relations lady for the resort only to be told the same thing $20.00 off to see the dr. Kudos to SUNWING for this rep, She called us later stating she would issue us some vouchers from SUNWING as she felt RIU was not doing anything On another note someone had thrown up out a second floor window on the stairway that was there Monday night and was cleaned up Friday morning. This is the only RIU resort where we have noticed the reuse of food, last night chicken in the Italian ala carte restaurant is being served for lunch in the buffet restaurant. They allow locals to come in and use all facilities making it extremely busy,and they all get treated differently then the guest. The line can be busy at bar,but they are looked after first. On Sunday it was packed with them and the pool entertainment didn't even bother speaking in English. They allowed kids and babies in the adult pool, the babies not wearing diapers and kids jumping everywhere. Talked to a lot of other guest and their main compliant was AIR CONDITIONING not working and not being able to get another room for 4 days,and it was super hot there

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: A very good resort

Hello David, As per your request the following relates to our recent trip to the Decameron in Bucerious. This is our 7th trip to this location. First comment is that the weather was great, a little hot but beautifully sunny for the whole holiday. The resort is as expected - well positioned (near Bucerias), very clean with a great beach. If we have one negative observation it would be that they should be more creative when it comes to items on the buffet menu .
