Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Tired and poorly maintained

I was expecting to have a high end experience given the elevated price for the property. The pool areas, including the washroom facilities were tired and not in good repair. At this price point I will pass on this resort and brand in future. Service was great however, no complaints there.

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Some improvements needed

I have stayed at this resort in the past when it was the Hilton and totally loved it. I have noticed a huge decline in the beach as it is no longer swimmable. We purchased a cabana as a upcharge and had great service one day and poor service the next. The dinner buffet was also very hard to find and was a huge disappointment with there being cold and undesirable foods being served.

Secrets La Romana: Amazing Resort

We had an amazing stay at this resort! The property is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a fantastic job every day. The beach and pools were gorgeous, with plenty of loungers and crystal-clear water that made it easy to relax for hours. The entertainment team kept the atmosphere fun without being overwhelming, and there were lots of activities available throughout the day. The only issue we had was the internet disconnection. It lasted for a couple of days and lots of guests pointed this issue out.

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Perfect holiday

We stayed at Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen, the first time in this area of Mexico, and we couldn't have asked for a better holiday. Our room had a view of the pool and the ocean, and we enjoyed the balcony, hammock, and whirlpool tub. Service was excellent from room service to table service. The lobby is a great place to hang out both day and night, and the party continued to the 24-hour bar nearby. The pool and pool festivities were fun to be a part of or just watch. Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: A magical stay made unforgettable by exceptional staff

My wife and I had an unforgettable stay at Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen. Our beautiful third-floor suite was the best accommodation we have ever experienced. It included an in-room Jacuzzi and a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean, complete with a hammock where we spent hours relaxing in the breeze. The entire resort was immaculate. Staff continuously cleaned and maintained the property—even promptly squeegeeing outdoor walkways after rainfall to help prevent guests from slipping. The pool [... read more] area was wonderful, and renting cabanas with personalized service made our days feel especially luxurious. Roberto provided outstanding poolside service, always greeted us by name and made sure we had everything we needed. The nightly entertainment in the enormous main lobby was excellent, including dancing, karaoke and other performances. The giant screen was also perfect for watching World Cup matches. Our couples’ massage with Bryan and Emanuel was another highlight; they were both attentive and professional. Humberto was also extremely helpful when arranging our airport transportation. The most memorable part of our visit was the exceptional staff at Spice. José, Mario, Miguel and Demetrio treated us with extraordinary kindness. They even reserved a special table for us with a beautiful tablecloth and flowers. As vegans, our only significant challenge was the limited variety of suitable meals. We often received tortillas with stir-fried vegetables, while breakfast generally consisted of oatmeal with nuts and raisins, along with fruit. The regular menu at La Casona did not contain a vegan option, and the vegan dish at Asiana, although tasty and clearly identified, did not include a meaningful source of plant-based protein. However, José introduced us to the main chef, Rodolfo García, who personally invited us to La Casona and created an extraordinary vegan meal especially for us. It was the finest vegan meal I have ever had and completely redeemed our dining experience. We hope the resort will add some of Chef Rodolfo’s creations and more balanced plant-based proteins to its regular menus. Our only disappointing service experience was at the swim-up bar, where the bartenders were sometimes inattentive and made us feel as though serving us was an inconvenience. This was noticeably different from the warm and personalized service we received almost everywhere else. Despite those areas for improvement, this was a magical vacation. The exceptional accommodations, cleanliness, entertainment and remarkable staff made us feel thoroughly pampered. We would gladly recommend Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen and would love to return.

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Great resort

Would not go back because of medical issues. Otherwise great. Food and drinks were fun.. beach is not accessible. Pool is somewhat accessible. Not to many toursbpr r versions for people with limited ability.

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Peaceful Paradise

I really enjoyed my stay at the resort the staff were very attentive to keeping the grounds, rooms, the buffet etc. very clean. The beach is amazing and the KAA pool bar was a great place to hangout especially the evenings that they allowed the fans from Canada to watch the hockey games very accommodating. If you love quiet and peace this is the resort. The only draw back is the long bus ride to and from the airport but it was agreat way to see the different villages along the way.

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Wonderful Vacation!☺️

Beautiful resort with stunning beach in a cove and 3 different pools. Our room was very clean with comfortable beds, spacious bathroom and hot showers. We also had a beautiful 3rd floor garden view. Food was plentiful and delicious! Excellent choices for breakfast including eggs, bacon, fresh breads, pancakes, French toast, cold cuts, fruits, pastries and smoothies. (24 hrs) Many activities and nightly entertainment. Several bars on the resort, in the buffet, near pools and on the beach. Lobby area is lovely and breezy, great place to relax! Wyndham Alltra Samana: Beautiful location

The food, rooms, beach, grounds were all great. I would suggest more entertainment for the adults. The cafe being opened between meals was great. The beverages were good. Need diet coke or diet pepsi

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Hyatt Zina hotel was fantastic

My trip and vacation was great. The weather was hot.l would recommend that inclusive should be clarified who is responsible for shuttle transportation from Puerto Vallarta airport to the hotel and return from hotel to the airport. It was not clear if Airtransat was the shuttle provider since at the arrival No-one was available but likely there were plenty of taxis at the airport. This item should be clarified and organized better.

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: I couldn’t ask for anything more!

I have just returned from 8 days at the beautiful Hyatt Vivid and it was fantastic. The hotel made sure that everything was done to make our stay a wonderful experience. Firstly, the staff. They work so hard. The hotel and rooms are spotless. The service in the bars and restaurants are efficient and friendly. There is a great variety of food, all of it delicious and made from delightfully fresh ingredients. We did not ever go hungry or thirsty! Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Great resort!!

I would definitely go to this resort again. It is very nice. The food is good, and it's so close to fifth avenue.You can go walk the strip every night if you wanted to. The only thing I didn't like is everything shuts down a bit early at the hotel.

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Amazing resort

This was an incredible vacation with my adult children and their spouses. My room was perfect, large, comfortable bed and I could hear the sound of the waves hitting the beach when I was in bed at night. There were five different restaurants all serving great meals and the buffet where we ate breakfast and lunch had a variety of delicious foods. Plenty of pool areas and a clean beautiful beach. The evenings entertainment was good and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Amazing!

This hotel is just the right size! The grounds are so clean and tidy, ample chairs by the beach, the rooms are clean and well stocked and most importantly the staff… kind, helpful and attentive! Food allergies are top of mind and handled professionally. Chef Apolinar (not sure I spelled it properly) was very attentive and aware of my daughter’s Celiac needs and was always there for us! Can’t thank him enough!

Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana: Exceptional Service, and Horel

Hyatt Zilara is exceptionally clean and well kept. The staff go out of their way to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. The food at the buffet and restaurants is above average for an all inclusive. The beach is white sand and their are tons of beach chairs available. This hotel is definitely the best of the best.

Review of Wyndham Alltra Samana Location - It is a long way from the airport. Expect close to 2 hours depending on how many other resorts the bus stops at (our’s only stopped at one other). The flights leaving Toronto 2:30 will get to the resort by about 10 . We were told by others we would get a ham sandwich upon arrival since all the restaurants are closed at 10. However, we were able to grab a few leftovers from the buffet. Can’t comment on their shampoo/conditioner since I brought my own. They do give you lots of nice fluffy towels, including facecloths and toilet paper. To the point where they rarely had to restock. I liked that. AC works well. Sliding door actually is newish and works well. Enough storage. Room (premium) had no hairdryer,robe or umbrella. Front desk gave us a hairdryer. We were in building 7, close to beach and premium pool. 10 minute walk to buffet & restaurants. • Staff – nice but very little English. • Beach – lovely, random few rocks in first couple feet but don’t really need water shoes. Very little shade; if you must have, purchase and bring shade umbrellas from Amazon. Grassy area is nice if you don’t want sand in everything and much more personal space. On the sandy part, you may find others plunking down in your personal space. That was unpleasant and rude. • Pool – we only went in Premium pool twice – it is nice. The main pool looked nice too. • Drinks/bars – mixed drinks were awful – made with syrups which were gross. Skip them if you can. For us, the main drawback of the resort is no nice bar to relax after dinner. All evening activities, such as they were, are held at a brightly lit open bar by the main pool with plastic chairs. Entertainment is basically zero, with a DJ playing music backed up with the sound of plastic chairs scraping on the floor. • Snack bar on beach – great hamburgers, pizzas etc but expect 45 minutes to 1 hour wait. Quite disorganized. And really busy – usually few available tables. • Las Galeras -nice enough little town but not touristy at all. Small grocery stores etc. • Bonus – horses on property next door. Lovely. • Overall, nice but not enough to do the long transfers to/from airport and the food not great.

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Absolutely amazing resort

Amazing location, great service, very good food, friendly staff, beautiful beach! We will come back one day and bring our friends. A great place to unwind and enjoy nature away from crowded tourist spots. Take excursions.

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Good value

Lobby should have a bar and nightly entertainment. Hard to get change made in lobby. Very loud by the pool at night. Rooms were good and clean. Very nice beach and pool. Overall good value for money. Long bus ride to resort.

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Pretty Resort!

The grounds are beautifully maintained very pretty. No faults with our room, very clean, mattress is comfortable.Food good,drinks good. Good beach,safe swimming. I would have liked to have some Palapas for shade. The only fault I had was that no one could speak English or French or German. The main reception desk were able to speak English. Be aware of long bus ride ( over an hr)

I liked our room, ground floor, garden view. Resort seemed dated . We were at the same resort 15 years ago and loved it. Not much had changed but food was a lot worse. But hyatt food left a lot to be desired. The Mexican restaurant was inedible and the staff did little to fix it. The other restaurants we better, the staff was always helpful and friendly. Really bugged me. The pool area got very loud and drunk by the afternoon. You have to rent the pool side beds for 150.00 usd.i thought that was outrageous!
