People at this resort sandals Montego Bay was just truly an Awesome time everyone who I ran into where just amazing people the grounds where just amazing food out of this world this is my second trip to sandals in which I have so Been impressed that we just booked Negril for Christmas.thank you to all who I crossed path with as you have again made my 36 trip to Jamaica and from here on in it will be Sandals thanks Butch what a view a True Gentleman with awesome ideas.

Top notch trip!

This was our 17th stay at sandals hotels. Our first time at Montego Bay and this was the hardest trip to say goodbye on. We met so many people who work there that our incredible people mainly our butlers Nasha and Cameal ( sorry for the spelling) so many amazing friends we got to meet on this getaway. Staff works hard to keep resort in top shape and bartenders make sure you have a drink in hand at night!! We will be back in May for the second round . Simply Excellent!

Loved every moment of our vacation. Resort was awesome. Staff were attentive and went above and beyond often anticipating our wants before we asked, Food was fabulous. Location was great. We will return again.

Honeymoon in Montego Bay

Hotel was good (bad location because of the airport noise), very nice, spacious beach with many water activities, food was clean and made okay but, not much variety. for Adult resort I was expecting activities until at least midnight, all activities finishes around 10 pm and it wasn't that good, Beer selection is very poor, they only have their Red Stripe and Heineken considering %75 of their customers are from US and Canada. The trip costs $7,000 Canadian dollars and honestly it shouldn't bee [... read more]r more than $3,500 max, we got the club Sandals level (the upgraded level) for better service (which we didn't receive). Their staff is very poorly managed, anytime I look at a Supervisor or a manager I see them playing with their phones and in the mean time their employees running around and not knowing what to do even at their a La Carte restaurants. most of the mornings I had to go out of my room and ask the employees to keep it down because of the joking and noise they are making at early morning hours. I was calling room service daily because they forgot to refill soap, shampoo, fridge....etc. I spoke with one of their club Sandals managers and she said she will have it corrected and Apologize, same day the cleaning lady came over and forgot to place Body shower and hand soap (which they didn't place a new hand soap for a week). The resort is right behind the airport and I would not recommend anyone to stay their because of the noise all day long from airplanes take off.

Amazing!

From the food to the rooms and great staff this place has it all! Service amenities, attention to details were above expectations! Highly recommend this venue to couoles who want to indulge in pure luxury and relaxation.

Great Resort

The grounds were well maintain, the pool area was kept clean as was the beach. The Staff were very Friendly and Helpful with any issues that we encounter. The only complaint that I would have was the variety of food was limited and that depending on your room type no alcohol was in the Bar Fridge in the room.

Not up to other Sandals standards

This was not our 1st experience with Sandals resorts. The resort was well maintained but disappointed with the amount of floral plants. The room was nice in that we could walk out to the beach from our patio. We had to call the very first night for several reasons the safe being the 1st and not being able the get the closet door open because of the area carpet on the floor laid to close to closet. We experienced a few problems with room, the safe didn't work after being asked several times. They [... read more] finally fixed second last day of our stay. We had an unwanted guest in our bedside table the 1st night. We asked several times for the robes that our room was to have but never received. So considering the value paid the the conceige customer service they left us disapppointed. The pools we're way the small and not very inviting. Also too close to the airport with planes flying over head all day long. Yes 10 - 15 minutes to airport but that's the time it take to drive around it. The food was nothing to write home about considering it was Christmas a festive time to celebrate. The Reggae Cruise was fabulous the crew we're so great they got everyone one up dancing and having a blast even in the 8 foot or higher waves. The highlights were Dunn river falls climb, the bobsledding, the snorkel , margaritaville and the Reggae Catamaran cruise. We did have a excursion to the Appleton estates was cancelled and we replaced it with dolphin swim and a mix up of listing made it that we didn't go there either...BUMMER....It was to be a great 35 Anniversary trip for us but it was a disappointing. Perfect size for quick getaway

Great resort. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Great beach. Lots to do or plenty of places to relax. Sandals never disappoints. Close to the airport which was just what we needed for a quick getaway!!!

Amazing

A dream come true!! The workers are so helpful and friendly! Felt totally relaxed while there! Food was amazing! Back again next year but will stay longer. Rooms were very clean and the beach was well taken care of.

Great resort

Grounds were clean and beautifully manicured. The service was second to none! I would definitely return to this resort! The reason I didn't give it 5 star was the room was a bit outdated, but it was very clean, and I had a spa pedicure and was shocked that they used previously used tools on my feet. I thought that was pretty diagusting. The technician was wonderful and did a great job but I was very put off by her rummaging through a makeup bag to find the "least used" emery board to file my nai [... read more]ls with. So, I wouldn't recommend a pedicure!

Awesome resort

Very nice resort extremely clean and the staff are very welcoming. The choice of restaurants was awesome, there is something for everyone! The beach is absolutely beautiful. Whats nice about the resort is it its steps from the airport but you are not bothered by thr planes. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends!

Tropical Paradise

It was our 45th wedding anniversary and we couldn't have asked for a more romantic celebration. The resort was great, and the staff catered to our every whim. It was an absolutely awesome place, from mouth watering food in the fine dining rooms, to the beautiful beach and very tasty drinks from the many bars. All the staff are outstanding! We will return here for sure. Can't wait until next time. A very friendly and happy place. Loved it.

Great People

The food was good. The rooms were a bit dated, but very clean. The beach was beautiful. The resort is directly across from the airport, so planes fly overhead all day, very close to the resort. You get used to the noise pretty quickly. The very best feature of this resort are the people. Great, fun staff.
