Exceptional service

Just got back from Sandals Royal Caribbean. Our first time at Sandals and the service was exceptional. Staff wear they mask indoor and outdoor. Tables and chairs are disinfected between customers. Felt very safe. COVID testing was very well organized. We received a note in our room on day 4 with the date and time. We were tested on day 5 and got our results on day 6, about 24 hours before leaving. We did not hear of anyone testing positive. Thanks Jenn for your assistance. We had a great time [... read more].

Loved the Resort

Intimate feel, beautiful grounds, friendly staff, amazing food. The room was beautiful with the tub on the patio. Our butlers Sheldon and Andre were top notch and made our trip one to remember. Thank you guys! Such an amazing trip and we hope to return soon!!

Sandals royal caribbean resort

french lacarte restaurant - breakfast really slow service and dinner not enough lighting had to use cellphone to read menu carribean restaurant - not enough lighting we were told we had a free candle light dinner. they told us we had to book within 72 hrs. we didn't know. poor excuse. beach chairs - 4 chairs under hut were all taken for butler service for only 2 people. the only chairs avail were in the sun. this happened all wk. airport near resort - no-one told us that the planes fly [... read more] direct overhead all day long. needs improvements. people there were the best very friendly, and food as all sandals was better than any other resorts we have been to

Great time at SRC

Resort was clean, all staff friendly. Pools are small compared to other resorts, beaches are beautiful, well maintained, small as well but we always found a nice spot. Great vacation. Crowd was honeymooners or 70's.

Just what the doctor ordered!!

Sandals Royal Caribbean is a very well maintained small resort in MoBay! We loved that it was only 5 minutes from the airport and that we could also go to Sandals Montego Bay, where they have some great restaurants (and real rum and raisin ice cream at Cafe de Paris). The food at Sandals RC was excellent, the staff was very helpful and friendly and the drinks were plentiful! Sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, beach volleyball. I would highly recommend renting a Cabana for an after [... read more]noon! It comes with a concierge and a nice cooler full of drinks. My wife claims it was the best nap she has ever had! The beach is very well maintained, but is on the smaller side. The main beach and pool area was very lively, but there are two smaller beaches that were very quiet, along with a quiet pool/hot tub area. Sandals might be a little more expensive than going to Cuba or DR, but it is well worth it!!

Great service and location

Loved the whole trip, great service, comfortable air conditioned room, epic bathtub, steps from the pool, nightly entertainment - steel drum band was awesome! Chico the entertainment manager was great, Shawayne and the rest of the food staff as well. Enjoyed all the restaurants, the included Catamaran tour. Everything is close together so you don't have to walk far to get to your restaurant or beach location. Close to the airport so take note if plane noises bother you. Beach is a little short s [... read more]o don't expect long walks on the beach :) Take the Negril tour for that. The private island was nice too, loved the bamboo jerk shack. Already planning the return trip!

Best Vacation Ever

Sandals Royal Caribbean is an amazing resort. This was our fourth visit. This time we booked through Tripcentral and got the best resort/air price combination yet. We will definitely book everything through them from now on. Better pricing than direct online booking by far. The resort was great, high quality food, and excellent service. We stayed in the penthouse suite with butler service and now have a new definition of luxury.

Amazing place with wonderful people

Beautiful maintained, great staff, good food, lovely pools, beautiful beach. The staff really make you feel like family. Would recommend staying at the club level and ask for a ground floor room in the Kensington building.

Lovely resort

The hotel was lovely. The staff were great! The food and drinks were fantastic. We had a wonderful time. We also enjoyed taking the free shuttle (10 minutes) to the Montego Bay Sandals for dinner twice during our week.

Great 4 day trip

We were there from Dec 24- 28th. Considering it was over Christmas we found the service very good and the staff friendly and no delays. We stayed in the Sandals Club area, quiet which we liked, more action at the main pool. The beaches are a little small but still nice, food was good. A little close to the airport, which was a bonus for a short trip, no long drive like to some of the other Sandals properties on the island. Overall a nice property, well maintained made a great 4 day trip. I think [... read more] a week of the planes might have been a bit much but they really did not bother us. We knew when we booked at this location we were only a short distance from the airport so planes would come with the territory.

Amazing Amazing Resort

I spent 7 days at Sandals Royal Caribbean and it wasn't enough time to explore the other Sandal resorts in Mo Bay, and take part in all the water activities they have included. I would advise you to take 10 days if possible. The beach is small but the water is clear, and never over crowded. The resort has three different beaches all private and beautiful. All the staff are friendly and they really try to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The entertainment staff are amazing. They encourage the guest to part take in daily activities. There is also a points system, so for every activity you do you earn points. At the end of your stay you get a gift depending on your points. I thought that was a nice bonus. The games and activities are so much fun. The staff makes it fun and enjoyable. The common areas are well maintained and are always clean and tidy. As for the rooms, the room that we booked wasn't as nice as we thought but we weren't spending much time in our room so it didn't bother us. If the room means a lot to you then spend the extra money and get a better room. I have nothing bad to say about this resort, I'm planning my next stay. I spoke to other guest and they said this resort was better than all other Sandals in Mo Bay and Sandals Negril. There were many returning guest. I highly recommend Sandals, it's worth every penny!!!

Great! but not typical Sandals vacation

A little about us 35-40 years old. We do a lot of traveling and this was our second Sandals vacation. Our first Sandals was at Royal Caribbean and this resort was not close to the luxury there but I will break it down for you in categories: We stayed at the beach side in the honeymoon beachfront club level. Location: it is far from the airport. Almost 1.5 hours. as long as you are aware of it, It won't bother you that much. Accommodation: STAY on beach side, the life is at the beach, we shuttl [... read more]ed to the butler side, large pool but we much preferred the beach side. The honeymoon villa is a 2 minute walk from the beach and is perfect! We did hear complaints about guests having to wait for shuttles to get to the beach. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and well decorated! BUT If you want absolute peace and quiet, butler side is for you. Walking: if you like lots of walking this resort is for you. Lots of stairs to get anywhere ...even to get to the beach! its not just one long strip of beach but its broken up so you have to do a lot of walking up and down stairs. We found it a bit tiring at times! Staff: The staff are really what made this vacation! they are so friendly and really go out of their way for their guests! Raquel, Stephen H, and Verona were all amazing and really went out of their way for us!! Food: Hit and Miss. Do NOT go to Kellys Dockside- it was horrible. Valentinos was excellent, Dinos pizza on butler side was great too! Kimonos was a wonderful experience, and great food Tex is amazing! The other restaurants were just average, we did not make it to Soy. Oh don't forget to tell the men to bring pants and closed toe shoes. We were turned away because our hubbys were wearing dress shorts at Kimonos Entertainment: beach party was fun! make sure you bring a white outfit! Steel drum band was AMAZING! Overall had a great time. I won't return because my expectations of Sandals was a bit disappointing after my first experience, but the smiles and laughs from the staff was well worth it!!

A lovely lovers nest !

This was our 1st experience with an adult only all-inclusive. We went to celebrate our 20th anniversary and it really did feel like a week long date! We received excellent service from everyone. The staff made you feel well taken care of. The staff appeared to be loving their employment at this location. We did not tip( as per their policy) and we were never made to feel that we should. The food excellent,great variety,always available with tons of healthy choices. I don't understand the alcohol [... read more]- i do not regularly drink ,i drank lots and never felt a buzz the entire week. The wine was nice from Nappa Valley. The ocean was lovely.....clear,warm,blue....beautiful. Our room was huge,clean,a/c with a view of the ocean. Down side-a peacock roosted from 5am on-wards every 5 mins and every single morning and we could not sleep. The sunrise was nice to see. The beach was ok. You could not walk the beach for exercise,too short. The gym was amazing! New equipment and no one there. The only disappointment was the nightly entertainment- simply,it was terrible. Night after night - 2 thumbs down.
