Needs some improvement

I decided on this resort as they are the only ones to have royal princess themed rooms and my daughter is all about Disney princesses. I didn’t realize how far it was from magic kingdom and the bus service can be inconsistent depending on the time of day. The food was subpar at best. Pools were great. Rooms clean Would stay closer to Magic kingdom next visit.

Amazing Resort

The Port Orleans French Quarter was a great place to stay. All the people who worked there were so helpful and answered all our questions about the resort, transportation and Disney World. Our granddaughter is 5 and has food limitations (gluten free). The chefs would personally prepare her food ensuring there would be no cross-contamination. The resort is a short bus ride to Disney World and the drivers were so accommodating to two of us using scooters. The same goes for the short ferry ride to Disney Springs - no problem taking the scooters on.

Port Orleans French Quarter

resort was great. not too large but large enough to have all of the necessary things that were needed. staff was very helpful and accommodating. our grandson enjoyed the pool and the dragon waterslide. room was clean and the maid provided us with lots of towels, shampoo etc.

Great Hotel at Disney

Port Orleans Riverside was a great place to stay while on Disney property. The Royal Room was lovely. Very tasteful decor and immaculate. Beds were very comfortable. Mousekeeping did a great job of keeping our room clean and welcoming. Crew members were helpful and friendly. The grounds were well manicured. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Good Hotel

This was a typical Disney mid-range hotel. They layout of all Disney hotels in this range are quite similar but themed differently. It did stick to the theme and seemed clean. The grounds were well manicured. We had great proximity to the main entrance, gift shop and pool (Room 3232). The staff was friendly. The food court was one of the reasons we picked the resort, booking it a year early, but it was closed down for renovations, so it should be fresh for travelers now. Best resort

Very friendly staff. Hotel was very clean and food was great..who doesn't want a mickey waffle for breakfast. It makes you feel like a child again. Bring your whole family because this is an all ages resort. Loved that they had free shuttles to all the parks as well :)

Quiet and clean

Grounds were well maintained and clean. Rooms were clean and comfortable, on the small side but adequate for a family of four. Eating area was busy but not long wait times for meals. Meals at resort were "fast food" format and choices were limited. Recommend reservations for restaurants ahead of time for Disney dining plan. Wasn't impressed with the expected 18% for tips and printed at the bottom of meal receipts and how the servers presented them.

Outstanding Resort !!

Everything we did at resort was great, service,grounds,pools, rooms , staff throughout resort were helpful and was one of the best vacations i have taken , Amazing resort would come back to this resort.

Fantastic resort

All the things you expect from the higher priced resorts. Lets crowded several pools to use. Great access to all buses from the preferred room we stayed in. In the room they should have the stands to hold your suitcase.

Beautiful property

We really liked the overall feel of this property. Our favourite experience was taking the ferry to downtown Disney at night. The pools stay open late which is nice after being at the parks all day. The rooms are nice but a bit small for a family of 5. We would definitely return.

Fun place to stay

This was my families first trip to Disney and the resort was a lively fun place to be. The rooms were clean and spacious, the grounds very lovely and the pool was a hub of activity. We especially like the size of the resort, after walking in the parks for 12-14 hours it was nice to come home and not have a lot of walking.

Very nice hotel

Port Orleans Riverside is a very nice hotel. The room was very clean and sufficient for a family of five. The hotel employees were very nice and helpful. I would recommend the Port Orleans Riverside to anyone.

This is an amazing resort

My only regret is the airline got us there 13 hours late so we missed all the activities that wechad paid for. Hard to rate a facility that you did not get to see. Very helpful staff. Very easy transportation.

Beautiful Grounds-Terrible Food

Grounds were absolutely beautiful. You really do feel like your in New Orleans. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were really decorated nicely for the kids (we had a princess themed room with headboards that lit up with LED fireworks-girls lived it). Good access to parks via bus although buses were crowded and it would take 20 min to get places. You cook also get to downtown Disney via boat. Nice and scenic ride. Only major complaint pertains to the food. It was absolutely disgusting at the [... read more] resort. Very poor quality. Salty, fatty and poor selection. The only two decent places to eat we're in Downtown Disney: Wolfgang Puck Express and a Earl of Sandwich. Both places accepted Disney Meal plan but it was extremely frustrating to have to go to Downtown Disney for a decent meal.
