Beautiful resort!

We love just about everything when we spend our time here! The view was beautiful, the pool was amazing to hang around, the food was incredible, and the staff were the best! Santiago served us most mornings, was one of the kindest gentleman and making us feel very welcome! The only sad part about her stay was the lack of entertainment during the evenings, this is a very chill resort. If you are going for a calm place, this is exactly where you would go!

Not the first time but definitely the last.

Let me start by saying I have been going to Cabo for 11 years. While I wasn’t satisfied with the hotel, I also was not very happy with the flight schedule that Tripcentral provided. We ended up with an 11 hour layover in Toronto. As for the hotel we found their policies to be bizarre. We had booked with breakfast included and they wanted us to wear a wrist band. They had several different colours of wrist band for a number of different options. I have travelled extensively and except for a stay [... read more] at a remote resort never was asked to wear a piece of plastic. I carried my band in my wallet to use at breakfast only. Secondly, hotels usually ask for your credit card to use for room charges. They did take my card number but when I tried charging a drink to my room, I was told that inly incidentals could be charged. I tried to explain that a drink charge is an incidental but to no avail. At the pool where there is space for only a fraction of the guests they have an unusual system where individual cards are used for towels. Perhaps theft of towels is an issue but I felt like a criminal the way I was monitored. The marina view room was small with a bathroom so small the door couldn’t be opened fully because the toilet was in the way. We tried using the air conditioner but the result was clamy air with a musty smell. Food at breakfast was plentiful but two things you think of with Mexican food, avocado and tomatoes were absent. The coffee was flavourless and the “cream” was really evaporated milk. We found out from a couple that didn’t have the breakfast plan that the cost was $33 US per person. We made the best of our vacation and only used the hotel for sleeping. Sleeping is difficult however as there is the constant barking of sea lions day and night. Hopefully I have said enough to make people take a look at an alternative hotel.

Best Location in Cabo

Great location for restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Very nice pool. If you’re going to plan on eating and drinking at many places, you can’t beat the location. I would definitely go back. ***They’ll try to sell you a vacation club membership. We unplugged our room phones and skipped the appointment***

Clean Hotel

All staff friendly and work hard to make sure everything is okay for you. Rooms and Restaurants and pools were always kept clean. The restaurant off the lobby doesn't get enough publicity. It was by far the best food at the resort and the head chef checked on us...wish we would have tried this one earlier in the week. Great easy walk to everything and the local bars and restaurants.

Great resort

We loved being in the middle of town and being able to walk to great shops, restaurants and bars. The food is very good at this resort. We chose the all inclusive package. The only annoying part is that even though you are wearing a bracelet they make you sign for every meal and drink. We even had a server knock on our door because we forgot to sign for a bottle of water.

Where you want to be

One word only....Outstanding! Centrally located, clean, comfortable. Great buffet breakfast. Huge, beautiful complex in adobe style. Short walking distance to El Taco Loco, most amazing fish tacos I have ever eaten and inexpensive. Bank and exchange right in hotel

Loved our stay at Tesoro Los Cabos

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Tesoro Los Cabos for the 1st week of February 2018. We were very happy with our decision to stay here. From check in to check out our experience was a positive one. Rafael, the front desk manager, was very helpful and patient in letting us view a few rooms before deciding on his original choice. We booked a Junior Suite which had a marina view with a balcony. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, with an amazing view. The beds were co [... read more]mfortable, the AC worked well and the shower was great with endless hot water. We read complaints about the long walk from some rooms to the pool area. While this is true it isn't that bad. The hotel is spread out along the marina to provide more marina view rooms so a long walk is inevitable if you are located at the farther ends of the hotel. We were at the far end of the hotel and we would choose the same room if we were to go back. The location of the Tesoro is amazing with the marina right out front and in town with dozens of restaurants and bars a close walk out the back doors. If you like to be close to the action and great food options then this is the place to stay. If you want to have easy access to the beach then you might be a little disappointed. The beach is about a 15 to 20 minute walk along the marina or through town and another 15 minute walk down the beach to some of the beach bars. You can also take a water taxi right out the front of the Tesoro for $5 US per person one way. We had a breakfast plan at the Tesoro and it was wonderful. There was an omelet bar with plenty of options for fillings. You could also choose between pastries, french toast, pancakes, fresh fruits, juices and cereals. The service was very good and it was a great way to start the day. We only ate dinner at the onsite restaurants once and it was okay but nothing thrilling. The best part of the Tesoro location is the easy walking access to dozens of fantastic restaurants. Everything from small taco shops (Tacos Guss), larger Mexican establishments, great seafood (El Pescador), Italian cuisine (Il Forno) and many other options. If you are the nervous type you will be happy to know that the security at the Tesoro was amazing. While there was plenty of security on site and along the marina you never felt intimidated or uncomfortable. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating while keeping a close eye on everything. We had a great time in the pool area. The pool is very nice with 2 hot tubs and a swim up pool bar and a restaurant. They provide towels in the pool area which is nice and there was plenty of seating and loungers. The young man who served us everyday was so polite and hard working. He was amazing. Our only complaint was the music didn't have to be so loud but it wasn't a big deal. All in all the pool area was great. If you love to try different restaurants every day, go to bars in the afternoon and evenings, walk around town with hundreds of shops and mingle with tourists and locals then the Tesoro is perfect for your stay. Never a Bad day at the Wyndham Cabo Resort :)

The hospitality begins when the cab stops at the main entrance . From the front desk host to the pool boy and waiting staff, your on vacation and they "Get It" " I Love the Wyndham Cabo San Lucas Resort"

Niced place

Very nice hotel.. Some rooms are a very very long ways from the elevator and then climb narrow stairs to the room .....Nice view when you get there. Other rooms are closer to elevator but not as good a view and over the pool area could be noisey...We were a long ways from the pool ( did not use it) ... Also the hotel is a very very long walk to the beach ( should take a cab ) about 120 pesos.... one way.
