Tesoro resort

Hotel grounds were well taken care of. The pool area and beach area was nice. Rooms had good ac and a nice view from the balcony. Wifi only worked on the balcony and it wasn’t great. The food was ok but a lot of things served in sauce and I found dental floss in a bun 🤢. You’re also only allowed 4 water bottles a day which is annoying. Not a 3.5 star resort

First the staff was great, friendly and accommodating. The rooms were ok.. The food was boring, no specials each night. Same every day. The A La Carte was Italian -Mon. Weds. Fri. \Mexican the other days and could not get their days straight, frustrating. If you went to a la carte at 5 pm and wasn't full they still wouldn't let you in that night. the Infinity pool they didn't have working half the time. I understand not having glass in the pool ... but even in plastic or go cups No drinks  [... read more]allowed in pool or sitting on edge of pool having a drink. The night entertainment at resort was very low grade.

small resort; good staff. over all ok (was "supposed" to be a 4 star), we had a good time, but the beds were not comfortable.. by the way we travelled in Feb 2014. pros: weather - sun all the way thru; good food; good entertainment program; Cons: beds not so comfortable; average beach not good for swimming;

Ixtapa is Amazing

The hotel is nice, very clean, and the staff make the hotel! Everything is very well kept, security is very aware of what is happening and working all of the time to make sure guests are looked after. Wait staff on the beach were fabulous!! The buffet was ok - the a la Carte much better, but I don't come her for the food. I go to Ixtapa for the weather, the beach, and the fact that you can walk almost anywhere you want to go here.

Superb Service

What stands out most is the beach - a beautiful long stretch of fine golden sand - and the efficient drink service from the staff on the beach. Although the waves were big, as strong swimmers we enjoyed the exercise. The buffet, while not as expansive as a 5-star resort, nevertheless provided a nice variety of flavourful food including some authentic Mexican cuisine, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had the most awesome time there!!!

The hotel was clean, the grounds were lush & tropical and immaculately kept. The service and staff were wonderful and made us feel so welcome, would go there again for sure! The food was great, tasty and a good variety. The speciality restaurant was to die for. We were so impressed with the personal service at the pool!!!
