Loved this resort

Great facility, excellent and kind staff, food was outstanding, our room was comfortable but could use a refresh. We rate this A +. All the onsight restaurants were well staffed with great food and excellent service.

Excellent service and seamless travel experience

From the moment we booked, the team was by our side!!! Even though we’d made errors while booking the tickets, agents from trip central owned our challenge like it was their vacation and supported us vigilantly to make our trip amazing. Thank you team for making our vacation on to remember. The flights/ transfers and resort were all fabulous and your assistance with making it happen is deeply appreciated!

Excellent stay!

Beautiful hotel with great food (lots of choices with Italian, Japanese and hibatchi as well as buffet) and amenities. Adult pool is great with swim up bar!! Beach is beautiful and really nice ocean breeze blowing to cool down when out in the sun.

Beautiful resort but would not go back

The beach was amazing, the rooms really nice! Food was good... not great. Pools were freezing cold. You can't get chairs on the beach unless you wake up at 6am and go down to put your towels on them. The a la cart restaurants we okay but we couldn't get to them cause they were booked. We booked 2 and they told us to come back and book again in a couple of days. So the restaurants could not accommodate everyone.

Unforgettable trip!

After researching for months before booking an all inclusive resort in Cancun, I finally booked Grand Park Royal Resort and it did not disappoint! Great rooms, service, food and beach! Our butler, Rocio was the best! Highly recommend booking your next trip to Cancun at Grand Park Royal! The beach was amazing but the tide was too high and near impossible to swim so just keep that in mind when going to Cancun in November.

Winter 2020 Vacation

The hotel is beautiful, clean and the staff... all of them, were extremely helpful and kind and polite. The beach and weather was beautiful, but it was windy during our trip so we were not able to swim in the ocean due to the strong current. Food was good, especially the snack shacks. Buffet was mediocre but you could always find something to eat. Café with coffee, sweets and fresh fruit was delicious. Drinks and bar staff were amazing. Our room was in the villas. Excellent hotel - terribly pushy timeshare people

We have been to Grand Park Royal Cancun Caribe 3 times now, once in 2014, again in 2018 and recently last week. The hotel, grounds, food, drinks etc are all top notch. Lots of drink selection, you will never go hungry with the delicious food they have. The wait staff, bartenders, room attendants, and front desk folks are all extremely nice and always have a smile on their face. From this perspective, you can't go wrong with the resort... However, there is a serious problem with the "Royal Hol [... read more]iday" timeshare 'slingers' at this resort. You can't walk from your room in the main part of the hotel to the bar, coffee/ice cream shop, buffet without being hounded by the multitude of timeshare sellers that work there. They claim 90 minutes of your time spent with them will net you some "souvenirs" and tequila, however, we have been warned by many people including Transat, Air Canada and Sunwing reps that this will completely eat into your day. They don't mention the 4-5 hour resort tour they take you on after the presentation. If you don't mind standing your ground with these 'clowns', the resort is a beautiful place and well worth visiting. If you are not looking for confrontation, I highly suggest going elsewhere to spend your hard earned cash.

Great resort

Just returned from a couples trip. Very clean grounds and rooms. Good food and service. Beautiful beach but rough water and very windy. Needs more seats in the shade poolside and at the beach. Steak dinner for an extra cost is worth every penny.

Great Resort

I will keep this short. We stayed in one of the villas. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff at the hotel were awesome. We only had positive interactions with them. The hotel was super clean and well kept. We were happy hanging around the pool or the beach. The ocean had large waves so with our kids we didn’t really spend a lot of time there. Overall I would return in a heart beat as we had a great time.

The Grand Park Royal in Cancun was truly amazing, not modern but very nice and creative touches making the atmosphere just perfect !

My daughter and I just spent a week at the Grand Park Royal and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. We received an upgrade because we had booked an ocean view and our room was exactly in line with the palm trees. The upgrade was right on the ocean and in a more quiet building, wonderful to wake up to the rising sun and sound of the surf. There are several eating spots on the property but to be honest we found the buffet had a great selection of food and was very tasty. As we  [... read more]moved around the resort I noticed that the staff were never just standing around but always at work cleaning or fixing anything that need attention. The beach was lovely and you could never walk the whole thing. There were two pools a main pool where there was always music and activities going on and an infinity pool that we spent enjoyable days lounging, if we were not lounging on the beach, both having bar service. As well there was a children's pool and outdoor whirlpool. There were many quaint spots all over the property and the overall feel of natural stone walkways to beautiful palm trees swaying in the breeze and a tropical garden. The Rooftop Lounge was an absolutely stunning composition in it's own right created with a variation of gorgeous lounging sofas leaving you feeling like you were the only ones enjoying this uniquely lighted ,star studded ambisonic tranquility. A wonderful way to end your day after a delicious dinner. Our room was clean and comfortable and the shower was outstanding with two jet nozzles and a 10" rainfall shower head. This Resort is primarily a membership resort so be prepared to be approached by a sales representative. This is not a timeshare and if you decide to become a member it gives you options to other resorts in other parts of the world. I can't say enough about this Resort and we felt extremely secure leaving the premises and venturing out to a local market or hopping a bus into Cancun. You are offered a shuttle to do some day shopping free of charge.

Not bad

It is my 5th time to mexico , the hotel itself was very nice , staff were great especially olivia the pool bar girl , she never stops and very friendly we will miss her ,very clean , entertainment was fine for us however if I was in my 20 I would be upset things usually wind down around 10ish .. the food was not the best needed more varity and needed bacon for breakfast . all in all not bad

Looks beautiful

This hotel was beautiful in looks, the people were very friendly but the food lacked variety, pasta was always on the menu with little else. we where approached three times by time share or up grades before we came to the hotel, and again in the hotel before checking in. Last night in hotel we discovered a hotel employee in our room going through my wallet in the bathroom with the pretense of saying he was security when we inquired what was wrong they said they had no report of any problem that  [... read more]is when I went back to the room and discovered my wallet in the bathroom.

Best resort ever

Excellent food, great service and very friendly staff, will return next spring, the room are very clean and fantastic view. The beach is very nice great for walking , the surf at time pretty heavy need to respect the red flag

GET SOME MORE UMBRELLAS'!!!!!

The hotel was nice but was no shade around the pool and no umbrellas with the exception of about 8 which of course people reserved early morning. I had two kids with special needs with me so they were nice enough to let them stay in the luxury beds- which most of them were empty anyway. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Food was good and all resaurant staff were great.
