Day 1 Arrival - Dublin
Visit Trim Castle the largest Anglo-Norman castle in Ireland which was the location for the epic movie ‘Braveheart’. Afterwards learn all about the Neolithic monuments at the Bru Na Boinne Visitor Centre near Slane. Then north, thru’ the heritage town of Kells, the midland counties of Longford and Westmeath and across the River Shannon to Kilronan Castle.

Day 2 Sligo & Drumcliffe
Looming over Sligo like a beached ocean liner is the limestone ridge known as Ben Bulben in an area which the poet W.B. Yeats called ‘the land of heart’s desire’. Visit Mass Rock and Holy Well at Tobernalt near Lough Gill and then the poet’s grave in Drumcliffe before travelling on to Mullaghmore for views of Donegal Bay. Then into Fermanagh to visit Florence Court, one of most beautiful Georgian houses in Ulster nestled against a backdrop of mountains and forests.

Day 3 Westport & Connemara
Head to Westport on Clew Bay in the shadow of Croagh Patrick, Ireland’s Holy Mountain, with a stop enroute at the National Museum of Country Life at Turlough Park, Castlebar. Continue to Leenane on Killary Harbour, over the Maamturk Mountains in rugged Connemara. Take a tour of rugged Connemara possibly the wildest and most romantic place in Ireland.

Day 4 Galway & Cliffs of Moher
Spend the morning browsing Galway City before heading along the shores of Galway Bay to Clare. Traverse the Burren region, a paradise for botanists and geologists and view the mighty Cliffs of Moher.

Day 5 Bunratty, Limerick & Adare
The Shannon region is richly endowed with visitor attractions like Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, King John’s Castle in Limerick City and Adare village with its line of thatched cottages to name just a few. A Medieval Banquet in a 15th century castle should appeal.

Day 6 Cashel, Kildare & Dublin
Cross the central plains towards Dublin. Take a break in Cashel and view the majestic Rock of Cashel. Enroute visit the Irish National Stud and Horse Museum in Kildare.

Day 7 Dublin's 'Fair City'
The full day is yours to explore Dublin’s ‘Fair City’, an ancient and cosmopolitan city as intimate as a village, and friendly as a pub. A Dublin Bus Hop on / Hop off tour ticket is an easy way to get around and visit some of the city’s attractions.
