Growing up, Shannon loved to study the Road Atlas while road-tripping in their family motorhome to her Dad's car races around the US east coast, or on their annual family trip to Walt Disney World. She wanted to be Media Director of the Walt Disney World Speedway so she studied Broadcasting and Sport & Event Marketing in College. Lucky for her, from 2003-2004, she got to partially live her dream and worked at Walt Disney World! Shannon was a Merchandise and Attractions Cast Member in the Walt Disney World International Program working in EPCOT's Canadian Pavilion. It was one of the best years of her life, hands down. When she came home, Shannon worked in the sports industry for several years before stumbling into the travel business working for Transat. After nearly five years, Shannon decided to become an agent and has been loving it since then! Shannon's travels take her to Walt Disney World annually, and she's also been to Disneyland in California and in Paris. Her bucket list includes all the Disney parks around the world! Shannon also travels to places that don't sell mouse ears though, usually with her trusty travel companion, Beaners, my stuffed dog (yes, you may see her taking pictures of a stuffed animal in super cool places!) Beaners and Shannon joined her sister on a Cosmos bus tour of Europe, and have travelled to Scotland and England several times. In 2015, Shannon finally tried an all-inclusive and was hooked. While Shannon's favourites include places where she can get out and explore like ATVing in Curacao, Ziplining in Costa Rica, or Skydiving in Florida, she prefers lounging on the beach in places like Jamaica, Dominican, Mexico or Cuba. She has hit many spots in the US and Canada, often working her travels around catching an away game of her favourite team - the Toronto Maple Leafs. She finally made it to Williamsport, Pennsylvania for the Little League World Series in 2023 and toured the Oregon Coast in the spring. Outside of work, Shannon loves to spend time with family and her fur baby, MacTavish. While her body thinks it's time to retire, she loves to play softball and won her League Home Run Derby this year.
