The European Sampler is a sample of some of the major highlights of Europe. Start with two nights in London where sightseeing with a Local Guide includes a visit to St. Paul’s Cathedral and time to watch the Changing of the Guard (if held). Board the Eurostar train to Brussels; then begin a comfortable drive to Amsterdam where a welcome drink and sightseeing by way of a leisurely canal cruise await you. Drive through Germany’s Rhineland and Black Forest, and stop to visit the famous cathedral in Cologne and to take pictures of Heidelberg Castle. Of course a cruise on the romantic Rhine River is included. In Switzerland spend two nights in charming lakeside Lucerne to relax and enjoy the Alpine scenery before driving through the Burgundy wine area to Paris where sightseeing with a Local Guide includes all the highlights of Paris and a ride up to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Extension returns you to London from Paris by Eurostar train and includes one night in London.  You will be escorted by one of Globus' professional guides in a luxury air-conditioned coach.
