The hotel has a lot of issues with details that do not make it feel like a luxury 5 star experience. Butler services is hit or miss, hotel app for booking meals, seeing programming for the day etc, is not accurate, does not work properly and basically becomes useless and the information is not accurate. I would not go this hotel again and would not recommend to anyone expecting 5 star service.

This was my second time at the Royal Solaris and I really enjoyed my stay both times. The hotel is not far from the airport and Cancun downtown. Very clean with the great room service. The staff is friendly and were entertaining guests daily at the pool. Food is good, maybe less variety than in RIU resorts, but you have chicken, beef, fish. Pastries are amazing. I would recommend to the couples with or without kids. I’m definitely going back

It took us weeks of careful research before deciding to book our first family all-inclusive vacation in Mexico at Hotel Nyx Cancun, but it turned out to be the best vacation we had in a very long time ! Not too far from the airport and within walking distance to La Isla shopping center, Nyx is a winning ticket for tourists (like us) who enjoy a quaint smaller hotel with an amazing staff, delicious food and a generous sized beach. The Mediterranean-like architecture and hotel grounds are very clean, well kept and its walking alleys are complemented by beautiful tropical plants. After sundown, the discrete lighting brings them all together in a magical way. Honorio ( Jojo) was more than just the first friendly and polite staff to welcome us to Nyx and guide us to our rooms, but always ready to offer an advice or an unbiased recommendation. A little mix-up with our deluxe rooms on our arrival was promptly corrected the next morning at Reception by David and Meike who went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction was guaranteed. The deluxe rooms assigned to us initially were in tower 1 and tower 6. While both were modernized, the room in tower 1 was so small that the king size bed almost filled the whole room and facing the lagoon made it almost impossible to sleep due to the constant traffic noise on the Kukulkan Ave. The next morning we have moved to other rooms in the main tower which were still very clean, with comfortable beds, significantly more spacious and quieter, but lacking much needed updates. The complimentary champagne bottle was a nice touch and it was well received ! The house keeping did an amazing job, refreshing our rooms every day and refilling the fridges with water, soft drinks and beer. One of the fridges had a malfunction at some point, but the dispatched maintenance tech showed up promptly and resolved it on the spot despite being almost 10PM. The quite elegant Balam restaurant from the lobby serves amazing breakfast and dinner, while the beach restaurant will fulfill your lunch needs. Both serve a good variety of delicious choices and even the pickiest eater will have its taste buds tickled. Our compliments to the Chef and the kitchen staff for the delicious and rich selection of dishes, deserts and pastries which totally dismantled the all-inclusive buffet stigma as being cheap, boring and repetitive. Hugo and Gerardo made our meals even more enjoyable with their great service, while Jose JJ and Jhohn kept us well “hydrated” with masterfully crafted drinks at both the lobby bar and the pool bar. Daniel put quite a show while preparing our tasty Teppanyaki dinner at the Japanese Umami restaurant one evening, but Chianti Italian restaurant on our last night did not impress at all and made us regret missing out on what culinary wonders the buffet dinner had to offer. For those interested in expanding their taste experience with some gourmet out-of-this-world tacos, the Tacos Villanos is conveniently located just outside the Nyx entrance ramp. It only took the 4 of us about $100 to get hooked on their tacos and to set our bar so high now that we cannot even enjoy other tacos anymore ;) The beach is beautiful and there was no shortage of sun beds with or without shade. Being the top of the season for sargassum, the beach was cleaned every morning and only a small amount of the sea weed was present. We were impressed to learn one morning that the life guard was not there just to protect us humans, but he also promptly came to rescue about a dozen baby leatherback turtles that got tangled in the seaweed accumulated overnight on the edge of the beach. A couple of Nyx employees were radioed in and quickly showed up with a proper crate to take the hatchlings to a safe place until their proper release the following night. The swimming pool was nice and clean and it seemed to be quite enjoyable with lots of engaging activities during the day, but cannot comment more as we always prefer the beach and swim in the ocean. The lobby was comfortable and as spotless clean as the rest of the hotel and it offered a cool refuge from the unforgiving August heat during the noon-ish hours. Two big screen TV’s will let you watch your preferred sport or you can show your skills at the pool table for 10 pesos per game. The designated smoking area is just outside the double sliding doors as you pass the pool table. The day wouldn’t have been complete without the nice evening entertainment mix of music genres, various talented local artists, DJ and even a karaoke night, all the way to 11pm. Should you have an early morning departure on a tour or back to the airport (like we had), please inform in advance the friendly reception staff and you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find a nice lunch box prepared for you. On the second morning of our stay, we had the pleasure to meet Jacobo, the Air Canada Vacations rep which was very friendly, yet professional, and he provided us with all the essential information we needed. He quickly gained our confidence and without any pressure or sales pitches, we decided to book a day-long tour to the one of the 7 wonders of the world: Chichen Itza. It turned out to be a wonderful unique experience and the best tour we ever had. Do yourselves a favour and if you do decide to book this tour, ask for PATTY13, the tour operator that has Jose and Patricia as your guides. Jose was our super talented guide (for the English speaking group) and besides the awe inspiring objectives visited, he was the star of the trip, keeping all of us entertained with his hilarious style but also fascinated by a blend of stories and historical facts. A quick note: should you decide to bring your passport on this tour, you’ll have the opportunity of having it stamped with a special mark depicting the temple of Chichen Itza that proves you have visited one of the Seven Wonders of the World. I do realize it is a very long review, but writing just a simple phrase wouldn’t do justice and would also be unfair to ALL the friendly, polite and hard working staff that have contributed to an enjoyable and quite memorable week-long stay at Nyx Cancun. A big Thank You to all and we can’t wait to return here on our next vacation !

Fantastic Resort - amazing staff, great room, great grounds, pool, food all of this was 5 stars - service was even better, my wife chose this resort for our 25th Anniversary, it wasn't cheap but well worth the extra $$ we wanted to spend. Looking forward to returning sometime in Jan / Feb 2027.

THIS TRIP WAS AMAZING! The workers were so friendly! Especially Jonathan! My kids went to the kid club, they said Patrica and the other ladies was so friendly, they did many crafts! The buffet food was so delicious! My son loved the fish fingers. The hotel we stayed at was so nice because the room service food was very delicious also the shower was very big which was nice, we also loved the air conditioning in the room. My son told me he loved playing water volleyball in the pool with the entertainment team. Overall, it was a absolute 10/10. None of this would ever happen. without the help of the best travel agent, Nephilene. we always book our family vacations through her and she always go above and beyond. She's just the best!

This place is a must. Great food all around, very neat premises, great service Great service. I had forgotten one pill (diabetes), and customer service got my missing pill in 90 minutes to my room……..

We had a good trip. The resort is as advertised. We had a plunge pool suite with an ocean view. The resort has large rooms that are cleaned daily with turn down service too. The rooms come with a free bottle of champagne plus 3 liquor bottles which are all complementary. The resort has plent of restaurants and bars and the service is very good. The food is not so good especially at the Indian and Italian restaurants and the sports bar. The ice cream selection at the cafe and restaurants is poor and limited to the standard vanilla, chocolate, mango, caramel etc. The shows (nightly entertainment) needs to improve. Other than that the resort is good and value for money. It has top shelf drinks, great choice of cocktails and the service is excellent. Special mention of Val, our butler, Elvis, bartender, Edgar, Ghandi and Jesus, wait staff at Italian, French and Indian restaurant, Veronica and Neyhla, hostess at Indian and Breakfas Buffet respectively and Managers, Ahide and Alejandro.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Eden at Tripcentral! From start to finish, Eden was incredibly pleasant, helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. She took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and recommended the perfect resort for our getaway. Dreams Sapphire is a great family friendly resort. There are so many activities for the young and old. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I could not have asked for a better stay. Although the beach had a lot of seaweed, the pools were great.

I just got back from a week-long trip with my parents to the Riu Latino (August 2026). The resort is impeccably clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pools are very nice and the drinks are great. The food is average, nothing spectacular but definitely edible and there is a lot of selection at the buffet. The only issue we had is that my mother has limited mobility and uses a cane, so we were unable to take advantage of the beautiful beach as it is a long walk in the sand to the beach chairs and to the ocean. People tend to stay up late at this resort and wake up late, so there is no need to wake up at 6am to go reserve chairs at the pool or beach. Even later in the day, there are plenty of chairs available by the pool (I'm not sure about the beach as I only walked down once), and usually chairs with shade are available. There are plenty of activities going on throughout the day, which is a great way to meet people. The resort is secluded, so you need to take a taxi, an Uber, or a tour to go anywhere. The resort has one shop but since it is so secluded, the prices are very high ($26 USD for a bottle of sinscreen), so make sure you bring everything you need. I would rate this resort 4.5 stars out of 5 and would definitely consider going back.

Rui Latino is a modern, very clean resort that provides lots of entertainment with an amazing staff who provide excellent customer service. The food was good but be found the choices of entrees at the a la carte restaurants to be limited compared to other resorts we've stayed at. They have large water slides and activities all day long and with optional trips with provided transportation to sister resorts for Riu parties. We found that it was a long walk to the beach so as I have reduced mobility I wasn't able to use it. We were there in August and it was extremely hot to the point that the temperature of the pools was like that of a hot tub. At a different time of year and for a young crowd this is a fabulous resort.

We had a great experience at Ocean Allure. We have stayed in Costa Mujeres before at a family resort, but this adults-only resort felt like a much better value for the money at a similar price point. We booked the Prestige package because I was concerned about dinner reservations since there is no dinner buffet. However, the resort seemed to be operating at about 60% capacity, so we had no issues getting into any of the à la carte restaurants. But we probably could have booked the regular package and enjoyed the resort just as much. The food and drinks were excellent. The breakfast and lunch buffets offered a wide variety of options, with hot food that was actually served hot and tasted great. There was a nice mix of local Mexican dishes and more traditional European-style selections. The à la carte restaurants were outstanding. You could order lobster and high-quality steaks at most of them, which was a pleasant surprise. The alcohol selection was excellent, even with the regular package. Each bar had its own signature drink menu, which made it fun to try something different. Of course, the bartenders were also happy to make or customize any drink you wanted. The beach bar had a great selection as well. There was some seaweed along the shore and in the ocean, but it wasn't nearly as bad as in other parts of the Riviera Maya, so we were still able to enjoy swimming in the ocean. The pools were beautiful. During the summer they were naturally quite warm, but the large activity pool had the most comfortable water temperature. As Prestige guests, we received a complimentary one-hour visit to the spa, where we enjoyed the sauna and hydrotherapy circuit. It was a wonderful experience. You can also book massages, and Canadian guests can request a receipt to submit to their insurance provider, as the therapists are RMT registered. Every employee we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly hardworking. The resort was kept spotless, and we frequently saw managers walking around with staff, making sure everything was well maintained and addressing even the smallest issues. This isn't a large party resort, but there are plenty of activities during both the day and the evening, making it a great choice for both younger and older adults. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return in the fall!

This is a good hotel. The food and drinks were good. Reservations at restaurants were sometimes difficult but we got to try them all. The grounds were super clean The buffet had a variety of choices. Our waiter Alberto was super nice and always waiting for us lol

Small so easy to get around - I loved that I’m not a fan of giant resorts. Buffet was great, had Italian à la carte and it was very good. Pool is great but typical loud - beach is very small and shallow would be great with small children - no real ability to swim it’s a tiny cordoned off area - but we walked quite far down the beach to number of other resorts, and they were very weedy. Great service other than check-in, which is always painfully slow for some reason at these places. A real benefit is that it is right beside the fairy dock so you can take a ferry so easily to Isla Mujeres and have a fabulous beach day there. If you’re a pool person, it’s a great resort seemed very easy to get chairs, etc. if you’re a beach person you really need to just go over to the island. It’s ok for a day or with small children but really limited

Great food was offered at the buffet and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Location is convenient to the ferry terminal. I would definitely stay there again. The only improvement I could suggest is to add ceiling fans in the lobby.

Just finished a week on the family side (non-Star Class) and wanted to share my thoughts. I've stayed at countless resorts, and this one ranks near the top for me. Yes, you need to get up early and play the towel game, but that's the reality at most resorts. It didn't bother me since I'm an early riser and enjoy reading by the pool. There are definitely a lot of paid "extras," but we didn't spend anything beyond what was included and never felt like we missed out. I can't really comment on the evening shows. After a full day in the sun (and a few drinks), they just weren't a priority. My son made some friends, and they had a great time hanging out at night. Restaurant rankings: Excellent: Sunset Strip Steakhouse / Teppanyaki / Indian / Breakfast buffet Good: Mexican / Dinner buffet / Guy's Burger Joint / Wood-fired pizza at the Italian restaurant Not my Fav: Sushi / Italian The lazy river was a great bonus, especially since the water stayed cooler than the pools in the July heat. I'd recommend bringing an inexpensive float from Amazon and leaving it behind for someone else when you head home. The pools were nice, the bars were great, and the drinks were solid. My only disappointment was that mezcal was surprisingly hard to find. We also did a snorkeling trip to Isla Mujeres, which I highly recommend. Rent a golf cart for an hour and explore the island - it's a fun little adventure. Overall, I'd absolutely return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this resort. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We had an amazing week.

This was an amazing family resort! From the beautiful well maintained and clean hotel, spacious rooms, to the Most friendliest staff, amazing bars and bartenders, delicious food, best ribeye steak, chefs KISS ?! Lots of pools, for adults, kids and family, fun activities and a gorgeous beachfront! I highly recommend this resort!

In late February 2026, my C/L and I booked our stay for 2 week and we were very pleasantly surprised by her Aunt and Uncle who came for the second week, we enjoyed the hotel and all the amenities.The hotel was in good shape, things were clean and well looked after. New construction was underway in the main lobby area of the hotel but it wasn’t an inconvenience at all. It was being done quickly and it looks like it will be a few nice additions. The hotel had nightly entertainment, the shows were pretty good. Vendors set up small stands in the main lobby every 2nd night which was nice. Very talented crafts people with a wide range of items.The food at the main buffet was very good with a wide selection of different kinds of food, different food stations, overall it was impressive. The different pools were nice, the swim up bar had a good selection of premium alcohol. Our room was on the 8th floor (top floor), our room had a huge jacuzzi tub and a great view of the ocean. There is a 8th floor only lounge that offers premium beverages, a small but tasty breakfast, very friendly bartenders. The beach bar was very busy, but the staff very friendly. The hotel is family friendly with plenty of things for kids to do. There were kids cocktails which were a nice change for adults if you wanted. The beach snack bar had hotdogs, burgers, fries, there was a Chinese buffet close, lots of people kept the place busy, the food was fresh and tasty. The different bars were all well stocked and bartenders and servers were all friendly. Our room fridge was kept well stocked. There’s a main lobby late night snack bar (10 pm-6am), the cook was busy but always had a smile. Fresh hotdogs, hamburgers/cheeseburgers and fries were always cooking. The beach area was busy, you had to put your towel on a beach chair by 5 AM most mornings or you wouldn’t get a shade umbrella. To get a shaded lounger at the swim up bar area was almost impossible, I was there one morning by 5 AM and everything was taken. There was a lot of “sea weed” in the ocean during our 2 week stay but it apparently was everywhere so no big deal. We had issues booking A’ la carte restaurants and issues with slow or broken elevators. Overall, we found the hotel to be a very good experience and we have recommended it to family and friends. We plan on returning in February 2027.

I’ve been to many resorts in my time travelling and hands-down. This was one of the best from food to entertainment to just all-around great atmosphere. I recommend this resort to anybody especially with kids lots to do on the resort and I will definitely be back.

We travelled as a family group of 11 from 3 provinces in Canada and had a great time. The food was good and the beach was kept pretty clear of sargassum. I use a mobility walker and found it easy to get everywhere including the beach. There were a few areas that left room for improvement. It would be better if there was more than one spot to get beach towels and also they need more towels because they seemed to run out frequently. An app to book a la cartes would have been a better way to go. The system they have made it difficult to get bookings. And lastly, we didn't like that there weren't doors between the living area, bedroom and bathroom. There was no privacy to get changed after showering. Ok if you are travelling as a couple but not ideal if you are travelling with children or friends.

Everything was wonderful: a wonderful beach, excellent hotel rooms. The food was also okay. Not a huge selection, but the quality and preparation were good. One small drawback: every food order, every drink, required a signature on the receipt stating that you weren't charged. It was a bit unnerving at first, even though the package said it was all-inclusive. We've never encountered that anywhere else.

In May, I organized a group trip to AVA Resort Cancun for 10 friends and family members. Since several people in our group had never experienced an all-inclusive resort before, I wanted to choose a property that would showcase the best of what an all-inclusive vacation could offer. Having visited Mexico three times previously and enjoyed excellent experiences, I was excited about AVA, especially since it was a newer resort. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to expectations. Let's start with the positives. The resort is conveniently located only about 10–15 minutes from the airport, making arrival and departure very easy. The property itself is massive, with plenty to see and do. The ambiance is beautifully curated, and the grounds are well maintained. Public spaces, including the coffee shop, ice cream area, and common gathering spaces, were aesthetically pleasing and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were modern and visually appealing, and the resort offered a variety of amenities and activities. However, the downsides became apparent almost immediately. Upon arrival, the lobby was overwhelmed by a very strong perfume scent. After spending time at the resort, I understood why—it appeared to be masking the odor from the large amounts of sargassum seaweed washed up along the shoreline. One of the biggest disappointments was the beach itself. Due to the excessive sargassum, there was essentially no usable beach during our stay, which was unfortunate for a beachfront resort. The saltwater pool was enjoyable and became our preferred place to relax, but the dining experience left much to be desired. Throughout our stay, food was often served cold, both at the buffet and at the specialty restaurants where we had reservations. Because our group was large (10 people), reservation times were limited, often pushing us into very late dining slots. On multiple occasions, we waited an hour or more for our meals after being seated, sometimes not eating until after 10:00 p.m. Another disappointment was the condition of the resort itself. Although only a couple of years old, parts of the property already appeared worn and run down. While there were many amenities available, I was surprised by how many activities and services required additional payment. For a resort positioned as a luxury all-inclusive experience, I expected more to be included in the upfront price. Overall, I would rate AVA Resort a 3 out of 5. While the property is visually impressive and offers plenty of amenities, the food quality, long wait times, beach conditions, and additional charges significantly impacted our experience. For the price point, I do not believe the resort offers enough value, and unfortunately, it is not a place I would return to. If you're considering AVA Resort, it may be worth exploring other all-inclusive options in Cancun that provide a stronger overall experience for a similar price.

Went in June 2026 with my wife and we had a wonderful stay. Had some some downs, but many ups! Ill break down each section Beach and Pools: Very clean and well maintained. The staff for those areas were great and provided great service. The staff are very clear not to drop your towels to reserve seats by the pool. They will take them. That didn't stop people from leaving their floaties. When it came to the seaweed the staff were on top of making sure the beaches were clean. There was lots of space to sit and relax in the sun or the shade. There is an infinity pool where a lot of the club member only people go. Lots of space in the pool and daily activities. Service: We checked in the adults only side. Check in was welcoming fresh towel and drink and whisked away to the adults only section. When we checked in we wanted a king but 2 doubles. They said the resort was completely booked. Still grateful to have a room, they did move our beds together. When we spoke to the butler, they were a little surprised we were told that and the next day they were able to get a room with a king bed. When the bellhop came to deliver our luggage, they asked where we wanted it, they didn't place it there. They kind of then cornered themselves in the far end of the room waiting for a tip taking the slow walk out. We had to get our money first from the bags. Little challenging. When we were able to give the tip, he appeared ungrateful and received a glare. Luckily the butler noticed this and was accommodating. (we try to tip where we can for everything). Everyone else was fantastic. Butler kept us posted with events and activities through whats app. Food: THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! They are very serious about allergies and with my wife being gluten free, there was lots of options. They will also send someone over to go through the menu for you at all the ala carts. If you do room service make sure you mention your allergy. We were able to try a different restaurant everyday and never bored. Be sure to check whats app every day because there is at least one restaurant closed every day. Make sure you hit the coffee bar in the main lobby. Great speciality coffees to have. Rooms: They were spacious and clean and never had any concern or complaints. We were usually back at the room by 330-400 and the rooms were done. You did not feel cramped in the room at all. Value. We felt we got our money worth. They do try to make sure you get the most out of your experience. Just make sure to watch the prices. Location: Great location. Clean beaches, white sand, It was about an hour from the airport. We were shuttled on a bus there, and on the way home, they didn't have enough people to validate the usage of a bus, so they gave a taxi straight back to the airport Overall: We will go back probably one year. This resort is more of a wedding hosting resort. Lots of weddings happening but also enjoyable and comfortable to be at.

Our second visit to the Catalonia was even better than our first. The food is great, the room was large and beutiful with a gteat view and the staff were amazing. We ate at the taco stand every lunch. Had avocado toast for breakfast every morning.

This resort is average at best. It is newer and quite clean. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was prepared nicely and the housekeeping staff always did something special for us. We weren't satisfied with the view even though we paid extra for Ocean View. The view is mainly of the courtyard. To see any of the ocean, you need to go onto your balcony. The air conditioning was very loud and made it difficult to have a restful nights sleep. The food was average and the same almost everyday. We didn't go hungry at all. There was a bounty of food and options but limited gluten free. Kulinarium restaurant was not good at all and the power went out for 30 minutes while we were dining there. They asked us to leave without serving us our dinner so we left and then the power came back on so we returned to the restaurant but the staff didn't seem to be so happy. We were not impressed with the meal. The steakhouse was the second worst of the restaurants. It was way too bright and loud inside. The ribeye steak was all fat. The Asian restaurant was a buffet style and we ranked it third worst. We enjoyed our meal at the Milan Italian restaurant and we went back a second time. We never went back to any of the other restaurants. The buffet was a somewhat better option than the restaurants. We enjoyed the lobby bar before our dinners but the mosquitos were terrible at night and made it hard to enjoy a drink or two in the open air lobby. The pools were decent. We enjoyed our time around one of the quiet pools which is right next to the waterslides. It was much quieter than the other pools which tended to get very loud and rowdy as the day progressed. We went down the waterslides once during our stay. It is something different that other resorts don't have. People seemed to enjoy going on them. The landscaping is very sparse. The building itself looks very bland. There is zero character. It felt as though we could literally be anywhere. It was so nondescript. We love going to beaches but not this one. We were charged a beach cleaning fee when checking into the resort that we had to pay by credit card. There was tons of seaweed which they tried to keep cleaning but it just kept accumulating. The tractor would pass by all the time and we would smell the strong gas which polluted the air. Walking from the building to the beach was difficult as we had to walk a very long way through deep soft sand. There were no washrooms by the beach. The ocean had lots of seaweed and actual human feces on more than one occasion. It was so bad that we stopped going to the beach altogether and decided to stay by the pool instead for the rest of our vacation. It was disgusting and shocking...something we have never witnessed before in other resorts in Mexico or anywhere else. We think this Costa Playa Mujeres area has a big problem. The entertainment was average and typical. Nothing really stood out to us. The type of guests at this resort ranged from late teens to elderly but the majority was a younger crowd who liked to party and get wasted. We felt it was very ghetto and trashy at times. We observed many incidents of people getting completely intoxicated and falling down, passing out, needing medical attention, screaming and yelling, being pushed around on wheelchairs, fighting with staff and even the police had to come one evening to deal with guest/staff fights. Overall our time at Riu Latino was not worth remembering. We will certainly not be back. There are so many other places to go which are far better Save your money and go elsewhere.

We had an amazing time during our stay at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres! We originally booked to attend a friend's wedding, but we were blown away by the beauty and service at the resort. The grounds and buildings were all clean and beautifully decorated. The beach and pools were clean, and we appreciated that there were so many chairs/beds so we had no problems finding spots in a great location every time. The service at the restaurants and bars were excellent. The food was phenomenal! We appreciated having plenty of options for everyone. Every staff member we interacted with were always so helpful, whether it be the excursion information at the towel booths/Go Majestic, or the concierge and check-in staff. We booked on the Adults only Club side and loved our butler, Novelo. He always went above and beyond, ensuring we were taken care of. We are extremely pleased with our stay and can't wait to return!

Beautiful spot wonderful property and the food was amazing. The golf course and the staff are great. The only thing was the seaweed on the beach, your contract company did a great job cleaning up. Looking forward to our return to the coral resort.

Our first time at this resort and we loved it. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Our room was a good size and the fridge and bar was well stocked. Lots of food choices and plenty of it, you won't go hungry. Bar services were top notch, and they do not water down the drinks. All the pools were great, and we had no trouble in getting a lounge all week. All the staff were top notch. The nightly shows were fantastic. We highly recommend this resort.

My Friend and i spend an amazing week at RIU Palace costa Mujeres and loved every minute of it The room 3156 was spacious and bright, comfortable location, easy access to all amenities . Service was top notch , very attentive staff everywhere. The resort itself well maintained and super clean. Food was plenty and good variety, we were not hungry. Delicious drinks at the bar. Beach was big good for walking, plenty of beds. 5 big pools if you prefer a different setting. I would definitely come back for my next vacation. Loved the lazy river. Service was excellent. Food and drinks were mid. Juices were so wateres down?. Loved the ice cream bar! First room we got that was on the ground floor was not clean. Second room we were moved to was much better. Water parks were under maintenance when we were there, found out about a day before the trip, which sucked. Overall I would give the resort a 3 out of 5.

This was the first time we returned to the same Hotel Riu Latino, Plaja Mujeres. Unable to book online with Tripcentral, we called and asked for assistance. Our travel advisor, Sandra De Faria, was incredibly helpful from start to finish. We truly appreciated her professionalism and her willingness to quickly resolve price issues that occurred during payment. Thank you again for the patience and attention to every detail to organize our great vacation. The fact that we returned to the same hotel, demonstrates the previous positive experience a year ago. The resort was modern, the staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the food selection was excellent with lots of variety every day at the buffet and specialty restaurants. The beach and pools were beautiful, and there was always entertainment or activities going on. Overall, it was a great value for the price, and we would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.

We had a wonderful time at the Haven Riviera Cancun! The facilities were excellent, and the service was great! It's the first resort that my husband said we should come back to... While the beach had lots of seaweed, this is to be expected at a resort in this area. There were lots of spaces for loungers, and we never had trouble finding somewhere to sit around the pools.

The resort has everything you need, clean and modern rooms, good food, good daytime entertainment and at night. There is a pool for every adult. Quiet and laid back pools or party pools or in between party and laid back. The RIU app is great, informs guests about all the organized activities. I enjoyed the yoga class, dance lessons and abs class. The staff were super friendly and attentive. I have nothing negative to say about RIU Latino… I will go back again and refer to my friends and family.

Just came back from 7 amazing days at Riu Palace Kukulkan and everything exceeded expectations! The food was delicious with so many great options every day, the grounds were beautiful and spotless, the rooms were modern and comfortable, and the beach was absolutely stunning. Such a relaxing and fun vacation — would definitely come back!

The beach was wonderful and clean. We also liked the location along the beach for long walks Your favourite restaurant was the Hidden Garden. We enjoyed the food. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Our last-minute trip turned out to be the perfect 3 days and 3 nights getaway for my partner and me at Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres. First Impressions: The lobby looked and smelled incredible, which immediately set the tone for a relaxing stay. We were welcomed with mocktails, which was a really nice touch. The only downside was the immediate upselling during check-in - staff strongly encouraged us to upgrade to Prestige/Premium packages and pushed a breakfast discussion even after we politely declined. Aside from that, the check-in process itself was smooth and efficient. Food: All-inclusive resorts sometimes get a bad reputation for food, but we were pleasantly surprised. Buffet Los Corales offered a wide variety of fresh and flavorful options for breakfast and lunch - definitely check out the fresh fruit section! The coffee shop also became part of our daily routine thanks to the friendly staff and excellent lattes. The à la carte restaurants were overall very good. Our favorite was Margarita for Mexican cuisine, while the Steak House was another standout. Our least favorite experience was at La Locanda (Italian), where we encountered an unusually rude server who incorrectly claimed ginger ale was only included with a Premium package. The risotto there was also meh. Suites: We booked an ocean-view suite, and it was beautifully decorated, spacious, and very clean. The only issue we experienced was inconsistent hot water regulation in our room. A very minor nitpick, but the towels and robes felt rougher than expected for a 5-star resort. Resort Amenities: Although we didn’t participate much in the resort programming, we thoroughly enjoyed the lazy river and swim-up pool bar service. The oceanside loungers and furniture also felt clean and well-maintained. Verdict: Highly recommend! It was our first time visiting Cancun and our first time staying at a 5-star resort, and Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres definitely impressed us.

Very nice vacation. Everything was very good, food, service, location, beach, room very clean. I have intentions to return and stay longer at least 10 -14 days, in future, when will be possible for my family.

The resort is very new so is clean and well maintained for obvious reasons. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. Not so sure the Pristige package was worth the extra money. Never ever saw one of our two concierges. Just spoke through messages. The fact that there is no dinner time buffet available thoroughly put me off. When I go on a vacation to get away and relax, I don't want to have to worry about which a la carte I'm eating dinner every day of the week.

grounds and public areas excellent , food buffet for breakfast lacks variety , lunch buffet Ok evening buffet hit and miss , deli quick bite and Italian and Asian restaurants very good . Room (king size ) lacking some furniture like a small loveseat, king bed old and lumpy as was same king on a lower floor , should be replaced, my back still hurts, wouldnt give me a double bed room becuase have to save it for families even though lots of vacancies (bush league) gut feel management trying to maximize income in otherwords cheap . Servers and hostesses the best people . NO English movie or spoerts chanels all Spanish except BBC CNN and FOx Go to a RUI property you wont be disappointed , a class above would rate it max 4 closer to 3.75 .I ve stayed in 15 other Hotels on the strip

Had a week at Riu Palace Costa Mujeres in May 2026. Everything was great starting from smooth check-in ( all our requests were fulfilled without any problems). The food was great, we were eating mostly in buffet since it was easier to find options for our 9-year old son. The Pepe’s burger and hot dog spot at the pool area is great- freshly made burgers, hot dogs, fries every day from 11.30 am till 5 pm. We really enjoyed different special drinks made by bartender at the coffee/main bar area. Those dinks were spot-on, every night they were making something different. Live piano and saxophone music players were absolutely amazing. There were great shows as well every night from 9 to 10 pm, il Divo show was especially amazing. Water park with the slides is must-have for kids, very clean and very well supervised by lifeguards. Beach is stunning, wide, clean, lots of shade from palm trees. There was unfortunately waves and seaweed but that is problem for all the Caribbean destinations. But stuff is working non-stop to clean all the seaweed. Pools were great- very clean and well maintained. Room was very clean, mattresses are new and very comfortable as well as pillows. You can also request a privacy screen for your room because of the way it designed (the shower and sink area are exposed to the view from room, so not the greatest layout), but the privacy screen will do the job to keep it private. We had only great experience with staff, everyone is very attentive, kind and making your stay smooth and enjoyable. Resort is more quiet than Riu Dunamar (where they have lots of parties), which is great for families with kids.

My husband and I stayed here a year ago. We liked the hotel and everything was fine. A year later, a lot has changed. The staff steals during cleaning! If you're coming here for the first time, don't forget to use the safe if you have valuables or money. When we reported the problem of our expensive items being missing, the manager said, "That's your problem." I also want to point out the bartenders' work; they only respect Mexicans. If I came from Europe, am I lower class or what? This is ridiculous! I'm sorry, it's unpleasant when bartenders only hear Spanish and serve them, even though I was next in line. Dear General Manager, change your organization, otherwise you have no future. Thank you very much! We won't come back to you!

All in all, the Riu Palace Costa Mujeres was a great resort. Will we return? Not sure. It’s approximately 45 minutes to an hour from the hotel zone and the city bus doesn’t go there. We were there for two weeks mid to end of April 2026. This was our 6th stay at a Riu resort, first time at a Palace. The perks of a Palace are worth booking at least once to give it a try but it comes at a cost. We noticed an upgrade in the alcohol brands and at the a la carte restaurants. The classic Riu’s were good too. It all depends on how much money you want to spend. We booked an ocean view (sea view) room (not Elite). The room was bright and roomy but too far from the beach. The ocean view rooms are located on the 4th floor above the lobby. We never heard people walking in the corridor and never heard anything from the rooms beside us for the entire stay. The ocean view from the spacious balcony was nice and we could see Isla Mujeres but that was it. No other scenery, just the ocean (which was beautiful). If we return, we would request a partial ocean view facing the hotel zone. We had issues getting two clean facecloths multiple times during the first week. My husband requested more facecloths on the app, which housekeeping delivered quickly. Another time I submitted a request on the app for more hangers and two clean facecloths. Housekeeping dropped off one facecloth and no hangers. We ended up going to the front desk to tell them what was going on. This is also when I asked if there was anything that could be done for our uncomfortable mattress. I could feel the mattress springs against my bones. Housekeeping added a thick’ish mattress pad which helped some. It’s definitely time for the hotel to look into the condition of the mattresses and to replace them. The mattress we had at the Riu Caribe last year was perfect. A few days later I had to submit another request for facecloths on the app. This time I mentioned that there were two adults in the room and that we require two new facecloths each and every day. When we put our dirty linens on the floor to be replenished, I made sure to lay the facecloths on the floor separate from the towels so the housekeeper would clearly see that we needed two clean facecloths. We tipped well, every day! We didn’t have linen issues at a different Riu that we stayed at in 2025. If kids annoy you, don’t go to this resort. I could comment on the parents not teaching their spoiled children right from wrong, but you know who you are. Enough said. The sargassum was relentless. We’re beach people, we love the ocean. Out of the two weeks that we were there, we swam in the ocean less than 6 times. Very disappointing. Not the hotel’s fault. We’ll go to a different country next time. Beach loungers were always available. We wish there was more shade on the beach. The palm trees did a decent job but we had to move the lounge chairs to dodge the hot sun. We prefer palapas as they provide more consistent shade and protection. Watch out for palm tree roots in the sand. Be prepared to go up and down 75 steps each time you head to the beach or pools if you’re taking the stairs between the buffet and Square Garden/Cappuccino. We certainly got our steps and squats in over the two weeks. The entertainment staff were phenomenal. We would say that this team of very hard workers are the best out of all the resorts that we’ve been to over the last 20 years. The Entertainment Supervisor Emmanuel deserves recognition for leading such a great team. He was very nice and personable. We played games on the beach lead by Kevin, Dehsi, Alexis Sexy Sexy, Rebecca and another gentleman (can’t recall his name). Hi Dehsi…we miss you already. The entertainment staff were very consistent in following the games on the schedule which was great compared to a different Riu. They played at the beach, by two different pools and by a small sandy area along the walkway at the end of the stairs. They also played bingo in the late afternoon by the adults only pool. The buffet servers and chefs work hard. Everyone was very attentive. The first few days we sat in the open-air section but as the temperature got warmer, we ate inside the air-conditioned sections. We found that there were fewer screaming kids in the A/C areas. Rosario and her team were great as well as Jorge and Albert. We only went to two of the a la carte restaurants, The Steakhouse and Krystal. We went to each a la carte four times over two weeks. The food and the servers were phenomenal. Parents…if you’re going to bring your children to an a la carte, please teach them some manners and stop pretending they’re not with you. Let them know that it’s not ok to scream and cry like they’re at a playground. We went to Square Garden every night after supper. We always tried the mocktail of the day (with alcohol added) from the special cart. The servers are very talented. The specialty drinks were amazing. The bartenders Miguel, Andre, Mayu and Maya were entertaining and super nice to chat with. Miguel and Andre are the absolute best! We’ve never seen bartenders work as hard and efficient like they were. We were very impressed by them. We often sat in Isabel’s section. She’s an amazing server, always on the lookout if you need a refill and often checking if you’re OK or if you’d like some snacks. The staff from Square Garden made the most of our stay. They’re genuinely happy to be there and to be friendly with the guests. We didn’t go to many of the shows. We went to the Monday night crazy show twice. It’s a 45-minute show which was extremely funny and entertaining. They do games with guests on the stage and karaoke. The reception staff and the bell boys were very polite and accommodating. There’s nothing to do in the lobby except wait for your shuttle or sit and read or relax in the air conditioning. Lounge 24 is off of the lobby but you need make your own drinks. Good spot to grab a quick snack when everything else is closed.

We recently stayed at Breathless Cancun Soul Resort & Spa from April 28 to May 5. Overall, I would describe the experience as mixed. There were definitely positives, but also several issues that significantly impacted the trip. The resort itself has a great location, clean, modern design, good energy, and many staff members genuinely tried to be helpful. We had previously stayed at another Breathless property and had a very positive experience, which is why we booked this trip with fairly high expectations. Unfortunately, one of the biggest negatives was the Unlimited Vacation Club presentation experience. What was initially presented as a 90-minute breakfast presentation ultimately became a multi-day process involving more than 10 hours of meetings, discussions, contract review, cancellation research, and follow-up conversations with managers attempting to retain the sale after cancellation. The amount of vacation time consumed by this process was far beyond what we expected and became a significant source of stress during the trip. Another issue was that during the final two days of our stay there was active construction taking place directly outside our room in the hallway, including persistent drilling noise until approximately 4 PM daily. We were never informed in advance that construction would be occurring during our stay. While we understand maintenance and upgrades happen, some advance communication would have been appreciated, especially at a premium adults-only resort. The most concerning issue involved gluten-free dining consistency. My wife has celiac disease, and we repeatedly communicated this throughout the stay. Staff did attempt to help, however the handling and understanding of gluten-free options appeared inconsistent across restaurants. For example, on our first night at Spumante, my wife ordered the Fungi Risotto which was marked gluten free. Two nights later at Fish Nets, she ordered another risotto dish also marked gluten free, only to later be told the risotto was actually not gluten free. At that point, it became clear that she had likely already been exposed to gluten earlier in the trip, as she had been experiencing symptoms consistent with gluten exposure. This resulted in illness, medication being required, and ongoing stress around meals for the remainder of the vacation. To be fair, we fully understand that there is always some level of cross-contamination risk when traveling with celiac disease, and this is something we routinely manage successfully both at home and while traveling elsewhere. The concern here was less about the existence of risk itself and more about inconsistent information, education, and understanding surrounding menu items that were specifically identified as gluten free. There were still enjoyable parts of the trip, and many staff members were friendly and worked hard. However, the combination of the prolonged sales process, construction disruption, and gluten-related issues significantly impacted what was intended to be a relaxing vacation. I would recommend the resort to travelers who enjoy a lively atmosphere and modern property, but I would strongly encourage future guests to be aware of the vacation club sales environment and to ask detailed questions regarding dietary accommodations if gluten-free dining is important to them.

The resort itself was beautiful interior design was lovely exceptional lighting choices (some dinning rooms would benefit with dimmers). The bad news was the food mostly bad except for the privileged dining and the Italian was better than average but the Japanese Mexican seafood was really bad. Shame shame since the resort itself was so lovely.

Hotel,the grounds,washroom and hotel rooms all very clean. Can always find something to eat at the buffet at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Has dinner at all the restaurants. Least favorite would be the Steakhouse. Pool side grill okay. Found all staff very friendly and helpful. The is not a easy walk. Seaweed is a problem, not pleasant for swimming. No place to shop or even vendors on the beach. Only the hotel shop. Transportation to and from the airport was very poor. No bus for us on arrival. Close to 2 hour wait at the Cancun airport.

The staff was very attentive. Always smiling and happy. Very clean hotel. We needed our sink unclogged and it was done in 10 minutes. Beautiful beach. Central to shopping zone. Well stocked mini bar

The hotel is beautiful right from the entrance and modern. It is easy to negotiate with most restaurants and facilities in the middle of the resort. Service was outstanding after an initial miss at check in (no champagne like other guests, just a sales pitch). Room was beautiful with a great view of the water and the resort from building 9. Lots of opportunities to enjoy the outside in the restaurants and bar. The food was excellent in all restaurants except the seaside grill. Italian and seafood restaurants were outstanding and service was exceptional. Great that you didn’t need a reservation for any except the hibachi. Loved the social pool with aquafit and the instructors ( entertainment team) were excellent. Fun and a great workout. Tried the jungle pool but very limited seating if you didnt rent a cabana. Shows at the rendezvous bar were very good and time at 8:30 was very convenient after a long day in the sun. Definitely will return. The staff is amazing. Red flags at the beach every day but the hotel can’t control the weather. Shout out to Antonio at the buffet, Seina and Taylor from the entertainment team.

We enjoyed the resort, Would like to thank Nicolle Kirk for providing us with information and looking at our needs. we wanted and great gym with tennis court and a great beach. We got that. She have used Nicolle many times and was not disappointed. We always go to Nicolle for booking our vacations.

I stayed at Majestic Costa Mujeres for a week and really enjoyed the peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. It’s noticeably quieter than many all-inclusives, making it a great choice for both couples and families who want a low-key getaway. The food was very good overall, with strong dinner options and consistently fresh selections. The steakhouse and seafood restaurant were standouts, and the ice cream was excellent. That said, lunch choices felt a bit limited. One downside was the seaweed on the beach, which at times affected the overall experience. Overall, it’s a resort I would go back to especially for the calm vibe, good food, and relaxing setting.

We just returned from Plant Hollywood. Nine of us travelled. Ages 1 to 61. It was the perfect resort. All of us had so much fun. There were tons of things to do. From activities to different swimming options to places to eat to relaxing, options for all of us. Each of us had a perfect room fit for our needs. Mine was on the ground floor and with mobility issues it was perfect for me. We can't wait to return. The children are already talking about it. The price was very reasonable as well. My best friend and I just got back from this resort and its definitely not five stars. The five stars are coming from people reviewing certain employees like a bartender or a pool server or a waiter definitely not from the resort itself. When we first arrived we were excited and decided to upgrade to a swimup room then later that night we realized we payed almost three times what it would of been if we had done it online. The price was actually 65 more than the privilege swimup room. We went to the management team i do recall the one persons name which is Ramone and he just basically said it was what it was. We just wanted what we payed for but he offered us no compensation whatsoever. I told him we would warn everybody we met there and were going to rate them a one star he said yes thats fine. That was a really crappy way to start our vacation feeling we got ripped off. We went to the buffet three times had to wait extremely long for someone to pour us water and take our drink order. The food was totally a hit and a miss the Mexican restaurant was good and we liked the hibachi one. It took us about three or four days in to find anyone who was able to switch or large Mexican pesos for smaller denominations so it made it hard to tip. There were some employees who made our trip somewhat enjoyable and that was our pool server Betina and two restaurant servers Carlos and Reuben and biggest shout out to Christopher our concierge who went out of his way to help us out when needed. Would we go back to an h10 resort by the way we were treated by the front desk manager I highly doubt it.

Our family had a great time in Mexico despite this resort. The food here is awful. We basically lived on french fries as that was the only thing that tasted normal. The main buffet building was closed for renovations which was never disclosed to us prior to booking. The pivot was to hold the buffet in the conference hall and the tables were set up with cloth tablecloths that were filthy. We laid our napkins down to make a clean placemat for our dining. There were long lines for the buffet and bars. It seemed like the resort just did not have enough staff. The floors were dirty and there was a chair in the lobby of the tower we were in that had blood on the cushion the entire 7 days we were there. In the evenings we would look for a table in the common area to play board games/cards with our kids and had to clean off tables and chairs ourselves in order to have a clean surface to play on and clean chairs to sit on. The beach location was good, the ocean was great. Our family had a good time but felt like we had to put up with the resort and make the best of it. We will never return to any Crown Paradise.

Hello. Just returned from Planet Hollywood Cancun. Overall an excellent hotel but has a few things that need corrected. Italian, steak house and Sushi very good. Mexican was ok and Tapanaki was poor at best. Glass around table makes it impossible to hear cook so event is lack luster. We were to get 4 separate courses and only got two. We were rushed and they forgot dessert and appetizers. As something that people look forward to and hard to get they need to fix this meal. Our maid forget to replenish towels and remove used dishes. Dirty dishes were stored in stairwell for days. Overall place is clean, well organized, event staff are great. Beach is cleaned daily of seaweed so beach is useful. Would return. No bugs. Daily visit from iguanas were interesting. They are friendly.

You can actually get a lounge chair until 11am or later. Food is great too! With a few exceptions of course since the coffee is awful except at the coffee bar. Beef and pork tend to be tough so I had chicken and fish. Nightly shows are terrific with 9-13 pro dancers and a huge screen with theme scenes playing behind. Desserts are delicious! Waiters serve you in the pool area, just tip them and they keep coming back. Only 299 rooms. Literally located right on the beach. Very relaxing holiday!

This hotel is unbelievable, me and my husband just got back and are already talking about booking again. The staff are so friendly and accommodating but we want to.send a special thank you out to our butler's Stef and Luis who went above and beyond for us. Our swimup bartender Luis who knew we needed another drink before we even asked and our sweet inside waitress Ava who always made us feel so special and put a huge smile on our face. Oh and we can't forget Marco Polo our favorite entertainment guy. The rooms are so beautiful and clean, the whole property was so beautiful and easy to get around. We absolutely lived the fact that the beach was right next to the pools. Oh and the food was phenomenal, I can not say enough to praise this resort. If you are thinking about going do it, you will not be disappointed. If you like a resort that has an upbeat atmosphere. Or if you're looking for a quiet spot, this resort has it all.

We recently traveled with Sunwing and had a wonderful vacation overall. The resort itself was beautiful, well maintained, and clearly cared for. The maid service was excellent—rooms were consistently clean, and the lobby and common areas were spotless throughout our stay. The buffet servers and wait staff truly stood out. They were friendly, attentive, and provided great service everywhere—even on the beach. The food offered plenty of variety and was consistently enjoyable, to the point that we didn’t feel the need to book any à la carte restaurants. We also noticed how hard the maintenance team and gardeners worked daily to keep the property looking its best—it did not go unnoticed. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, and the airport transfer service was smooth and well organized. The beach was beautiful, even though we experienced red flag conditions most of the week. A special mention to the Nexus reps, who were very helpful and provided great recommendations throughout our stay. That said, one concern worth noting: during our stay, we had an unfortunate interaction with a front desk manager who was extremely rude and displayed what felt like intimidating and unprofessional behaviour. This left us feeling uneasy and somewhat unwelcome, which was disappointing given how positive the rest of our experience was. Overall, we truly enjoyed our vacation and would return, but we hope management addresses guest service consistency at the front desk level.

The amenities inntue resort are great. The staff from the activities in the pool are friendly and welcoming. Coffee staff and bar staff are not friendly. Food was ok. Pork and chicken everyday for dinner no fish, salmon barely beef. If you dont have an upgrade to pyramid doesn't seem like they care too much about you. I had money stolen from my room. 4 bills of 50 dollars (second day of my stay) I reported to management, security but they only feed back I hear is, we are looking into it. To he honest I dont think they cared.

This is a lovely hotel which is not too busy. We easily found loungers either by the pool or on the beach. The staff are all super nice and the room very clean. We had a wonderful day and would highly recommend.

Rooms are 5*. Room and hotel layout is similar to sister Elegance hotel.The water park rocks with multiple adult and child water slides! Food is awesome at buffet and the restaurants! My only issue was you couldn't always be certain of opening times (if even open) on the hotel app. The location is perfect; beach sand here is powdery. Majestic staff is 5*!

Although we did not get the room we booked, this resort was clean and the staff aimed to please. The staff on the beach were amazing and made sure we were well looked after. The restaurants were underwhelming, especially for Mexico.Also not everything on the al la carte menus were included which was disappointing. I can understand an upcharge for lobster or certain cuts of steak, but for pasta dishes and cocktails not to be included was very disappointing.

The resort was very clean and workers were nice and most of them spoke English.. Arturo at the front desk was professional who went over and above to accommodate you..Entertainment was great Alex made sure it was fun for everyone.. Booking any incursions plan with Oscar he was very experienced and knew his stuff.. Food was good.. Drinks could have been better..

We had a pretty decent time at this hotel. It was very relaxing and the service was great. Although, we did feel that there could have been more activities planned during the day time, maybe we went on weekdays, sometime the whole vibe was dull. Food and drinks were okay, nothing super fancy. Very minimal options for protein if you are vegetarian.

The resort itself is very tired and could you a complete over haul. The beach is not great and can be quite difficult to get to, very few lounge chairs and very little shade areas. The pools are small so you have to get up very early to get a lounge chair and pray someone doesn't remove your towel. The shows were pretty good at night, but during the day was only water aerobics. Food was good, pizza was very good. The staff are absolutely amazing and go way above and beyond to help make your vacation wonderful. I would go back to Mexico but not this resort.

This was our 2nd time and there will be a 3rd, top notch all around, food, service, cleanliness and the best value for a 5 star adults only resort. Not on the beach but the beach club has that Miami vibe that's a 5 minute shuttle ride away. The views are the best in Cancun and your 20 minutes from the airport. A refined and relaxing resort with great staff and diverse activities.

very clean and friendly hotel- lots of fun things for the kids!! Entertainment and waterpark are a lot of fun. The food was really good too, everything felt like home. The pool is always happening with music and activities.

Everything was fine, except for some minor issues with check-out and airport transfer. Sanwing could have handled this more efficiently or at least responded to inquiries by phone or via website chat. Everything is included, but the constant signing in the registration forms is just annoying!!! Why sign for something that's already paid for! And the noise—the neighboring building was under construction all week. We lived like we were on a construction site, with a chainsaw, a circular saw, and all sorts of other tools running. Basically, we lived on a massive construction site for seven days.

Our stay at this all-inclusive resort was overall a really enjoyable experience. The property itself is spacious and beautifully designed. At the center, there’s a stunning open-air area with a glass roof, filled with lush plants that give the whole resort a tropical, relaxing atmosphere. There are plenty of seating and lounging areas throughout, making it easy to find a quiet spot to unwind. The food was a highlight. With around 6–7 different restaurants offering a variety of cuisines, there’s something for everyone. The buffet, in particular, has a huge selection of dishes. While some options are more on the generic side, the overall quality is good and there’s enough variety to keep meals interesting throughout the stay. The beach area is spacious and well-maintained, with lots of lounge chairs available, so finding a spot was never an issue. The swimming pools are also large, clean, and perfect for relaxing or cooling off during the day. There were a couple of minor drawbacks. On the day we arrived, check-in took longer than expected—about 1.5 hours—due to a new administrative system and concierge team. Also, because the resort is so large, room service can be a bit slow at times. That said, the staff were generally helpful and the service overall was still good. The resort offers a lively atmosphere with events and activities scheduled throughout the week. One evening featured live music in the main lobby area until around 10 PM, which added to the energy, though it might be a bit loud for families with young children who have earlier bedtimes. Rooms were clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping that kept everything in great condition. All in all, this is a beautiful, vibrant resort with great amenities, solid dining options, and a fun atmosphere. Despite a few small inconveniences, we had a really positive experience and would definitely consider returning.

This resort is beautiful. The property layout is interesting and well done with lush greenery, subtle night time lighting and curving paths interspersed with fire pits surrounded by comfortable seating for sipping a high quality drink and gazing at the stars. The à la carte restaurants were mostly very good while the buffet at breakfast had choices for every palate. We chose the Preferred Club and enjoyed our building’s location near the beach and the stunning room plus the fabulous service from our butlers, Gloria & Alfredo. They made us feel very special. The only downside was difficulty getting a poolside lounge over the Easter weekend due to the influx of travelers from Texas. After they left, it was much easier. A real highlight was our interactions with the incredible well trained staff. Their friendliness and enthusiasm are second to none. I would return in a heartbeat!

This resort was absolutely amazing. From the staff, to the hotel rooms, to the food/drinks and service. It was my boyfriend’s first time in Mexico, and made his week, we both were amazed. It helps that the weather was beautiful as well! We will definitely be returning! Also the best beach location in my opinion. Love that they have that barrier rocks to slow the waves down.

There were a lot of seaweed. There are only approximately 20 umbrellas and 40 sun loungers for a resort with about 2,000 people. One day we went at 7 a.m., and there were only two broken loungers left. People go very early to place a towel and reserve spots. No one is actually on the beach, but many loungers are already taken.

Although the hotel is a little older it is well maintained.The restaurants are very good and no lineups! what a relief.The food is above avg and the drinks are premium,The Hotel is secure as you need to go thru 2 gates to get there.No vendors on the beach also a plus.A little seaweed on the beach but they have it removed daily.Shows are fantastic Freddie Mercury and Pure Energy being the best.The staff are quite attentive and friendly im definitely going back.

We enjoyed our stay at The Vine Cancun. The service was excellent; especially Malbel, she keeped our room spotless. Adrian at the Market Cafe understood what why service in important. Our Chef at our tasting table was amazing explaining every dish severed.

We were here for only for four nights. The hotel was fantastic, the food was great and overall experience met all expectations for a five star hotel. The buffet and staff there was the stand out as well as the coffee shop in second place. Things that were annoying: the water pressure wasn’t amazing and the hot water had a slight sulphur smell, but maybe that’s a Cancun thing. The lights in the room needed a PhD to figure out. The bar tenders seemed overworked and a bit grumpy

We took a family vacation here, early April 2026. I have to say overall it was a disappointment. We’ve been to several Mexican all inclusives and while this one shows nicely, the actual experience is lacking. The staff were the biggest disappointment. They seemed very disinterested and almost resentful to serve you. I wouldn’t go as far as saying rude, but at times close to it. In the hotel there are lots of activities, but take lots of money as they all come at an additional cost in US dollars. Another thing we didn’t like was the constant approaches by the sales people to try and sell you their time share membership. They position themselves in the main walking areas and are always there. Then speaking of timeshare membership, there are certain areas, pool, patio loungers etc where you can only go if you’re a member. I personally found this frustrating considering the cost of the trip. I could go on and say that this resort is sub par in housekeeping, restaurant service and availability, pool service, pool lounger availability.. If you like the beach, don’t expect anything at this resort. I would not recommend going here.

This resort is fairly new so maybe some kinks are still being worked out, however my biggest disappointment were the restaurants. Firstly the buffet was not available for dinner. The a la carte restaurants were very busy, causing wait times no matter what time you went there.Once inside the servers were run off their feet, to the point where they were unable to provide proper service to their customers. This made for an unenjoyable dining experience.Another point I want to make about the food is the quality of the various dishes is very poor and the size of the portions is very small particularly the Tappenaki Restaurant, the was ridiculously small. Aside from that the grounds of the resort were tidy, however near the pool areas there were not enough washrooms.

The hotel needs to decide what it wants to be. It went from foam parties to an events coordinator screaming aggressively coming to the privilege pool screaming “wakey wakey” trying to get guests that are relaxing to come over to the main pool. It was so offensive. We paid over $8,000 to be there. We assumed at an adults only resort it would be more cultured. The hotel vibe was like a 3 star party hotel. The beach is not very good either. It’s very narrow, lots of seaweed that they don’t clean unlike secrets next door which had a tractor out daily cleaning the beach. And the bathrooms on the resort. It’s shocking that it passed code. There are 3 large pools and no kidding, 3 bathrooms with 3 stalls in each. So that’s 9 toilet stalls for a hotel that occupies 600 guests. How is that sanitary? The food was somewhat hit and miss. Most of it was good quality but it was ruined by a horrible fake butter taste on everything. They use soya oil. That’s all I could taste in the food whether it was the mashed potatoes, baked good etc. They make a delicious lobster tail on top it with fake butter. What a waste! We booked a Master Oceanfront privilege suite. The top level. The butlers were useless. They didn’t get to know us at all. It was the basic daily text. Nothing personal about it. Just a blanket text of the hotels daily activities. Our room apparently because of its location took 15 minutes to get hot water. The room was clean and beautiful otherwise. And the worst part…. Is the pushing of timeshare. Disgusting. As soon as you come in they hand you over to someone who pretends they are there to make your experience better. They invite you to breakfast so that they can get you to listen to a 4 hour sales pitch to buy into their ridiculously overpriced timeshare scam. There were 4 Canadian couples that were fed a bunch of alcohol and then convinced to buy into the program. I ended up meeting them and they were so stressed about buying into the program. I informed them there was a 5 day cool off period. All of them then cancelled with clear minds. It was so disgusting I would NEVER recommend this resort. There are way better places to go to in the Cancún area for a much better price and service.

Stayed a week at GR Caribe. It was beautiful. The grounds were kept immaculate and all the employees were wonderful and so accomodating. There was plenty of food and as long as you are not a food critic, it was (to us) tasty and well presented. The adult side of the hotel was quiet (just the way we like it) you can always trot over to the family side for more poolside activities. The nightly shows and gym are also on the family side. The dinner buffet was on the family side which was a bit disappointing if you expected never to leave the adult side. The beach is lovely and you can walk for miles. The rooms were clean and adequate. Fresh towels daily, pop, water and beer stocked in mini fridge, cozy robes. Just wish all rooms had balconies. We had ocean front but no balcony. The window did open though which was nice. The adult side.had a café with coffee, sandwiches, pastries etc. Open from 7am to 3am. No excise to go hungry! All in all, we loved our stay. We wanted relaxing and that is exactly what we got. We would definitely return.buy would oay for the ocean front rooms with the plunge pools. They looked fabulous!

What a beautiful resort. Well laid out, everything was easy to find. Loved the lazy river. Staff were very attentive and eager to help you. The food was great, loved that you didnt need reservations at all the restaurants. Just the steakhouse and the Japanese. So much to do if you wanted to ( cornhole, bowling, karaoke, nightly shows)

We enjoyed the resort. It was clean, spacious. We were able to find lounge chairs around the pool. Also, lots of shaded areas!! ( which is rare at other resorts). Sports team, including sports instructor " Nacho Loco" was fun and fabulous! The one chink would be We were told no reservations needed at the restaurants however, one did need to line up to get a beeper/ buzzer to secure a spot at the more popular restaurants. Not written anywhere. We just found out through other patrons. I guess better than the reservation process. Thanks for a great time!!

My husband and I wanted to go to Mexico for his 50th birthday. I had never used a travel agent before but I did this time and Alisa was so helpful and informative. I gave her a list of wants and she recommended the sun palace. It was exactly what we wanted. The staff were exceptional, especially Juan and Daniella. The food would bring me back again in a heart beat. The whole experience was fantastic.

This hotel was wonderful. We had a great room looking on to the entertainment provides, which there was something every night. The food was good no matter where you chose to eat in the hotel. Staff was helpful and kind. Weather was fantastic!

Beautiful resort. Very clean. Staff was always super nice. The restaurants and buffet were great! Lots of room at the beach any time of day.. pools were a little busy during the second half of our stay, but that was a new wave of US spring breakers arriving. drinks were cold. bar tenders were superb. Rooms were fantastic. Balcony was great. We did find the hallways rather loud during the night once the spring breakers arrived, lots of yelling and banging on doors.. we would stay at this resort again without hesitation.

We had an amazing 8 days at Dos Playas! The view was spectacular, the staff were amazing. Most of the staff have been there for years, and were always smiling and laughing with each other and guests! The food was always great with something different every day. The entertainment was fabulous, and the beach was awesome. We had an oceanfront room, that was clean and the bed was very comfortable! If we go back to Cancun we will definitely return to Dos Playas!

It’s interesting there is no buffet option for dinner but we do like the option to get a beeper and sit in the lounge socializing till it goes off. For some reason the sports bar and bowling area were kept at freezing temperatures cold enough to need pants and sweaters? Pools were kinda cold too Check in not the best for non privileged All in all pretty good resort

Absolutely gorgeous suite we had! The entire resort is immaculate and service is wonderful. We enjoyed the amazing food, beach with plenty of beach chairs, excellent layout for access to everything just steps away. It was very relaxing, white sand and great weather.

This was a beautiful resort! Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. This is definitely not a party type atmosphere, we went to rest and recharge. Beautiful grounds and extremely clean and well kept. The pools were very nice with ample chairs and towels. The food was very good but we would have enjoyed better lunch and breakfast options. Staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. The only disappointment was the beach and seaweed. Unfortunately we were not able to swim in the ocean.

The food was also very good, with a nice variety of options to suit different tastes, and the service from most of the staff was friendly and welcoming. The beach and pool areas were definitely highlights of our stay — clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxing. We especially appreciated how peaceful and enjoyable the environment was throughout the day. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The entertainment was quite disappointing and did not meet our expectations. There were limited activities and shows, and the overall energy in the evenings felt lacking. The biggest issue we experienced was the airport transfer. It was very disorganized and stressful. There was no clear direction, long wait times, and no Sunwing representative available to assist us, which made the arrival experience frustrating — especially after a long flight. Despite these concerns, we still had a great time thanks to the resort itself and the hardworking staff on-site. With some improvements to the entertainment and better organization for airport transfers, this resort could offer an even better overall experience.

This adult only resort was really very nice. Our stay here was great. The food was very good. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lots of activites if you wanted to do them. Met some great people. Beach had some sea weed but not that bad. Beach bar with swings very fun. Our swim up room was great. Very new and clean.

The grounds were beautiful, the staff were always tending to it. The entertainment group was fantastic. Aquafit was my favourite! Highly recommend this resort!!
