We had been dreaming of this vacation for close to 25 years, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived at Club Med, we were met with hospitality and warmth. This remained throughout our stay; the staff at Club Med made every opportunity to ensure our time there was special and memorable. The resort itself was immaculately maintained, with rarely a dirty dish left on the table. The food was some of the best we ever had a resort, with something for everyone and never ran out of anything. Even when they were serving some of the largest prawns I have ever seen, everyone was ensuring they had seconds. Never had to wait more than a minute to be served at the bar. The pools were excellent, with a large pool for families and an adult zen pool where you could always find a place to lay your towel. The staff were attentive but never pushy. Could not recommend Club Med Phuket enough.

We had a wonderful stay at Club Med Turks & Caicos. The resort is beautiful, but what really made our trip special was the staff—especially Girardo. He was incredibly friendly, energetic, and always went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a great time. Whether it was during activities or just around the resort, he made us feel welcomed and included. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely passionate about their work. Girardo truly made a difference in our experience, and we will definitely be back because of people like him. Highly recommend!”

This resort offered a great atmosphere. We were there for pickleball but got so much more we met amazing people the beaches were outstanding. live music everyday. cons, pool was cold and the rooms were not great. Clean but the beds were very uncomfortable. I would go back in heart beat!

The hotel is not new but very clean and beautifully located on the best stretch of beach. Food was very good, and we loved the concept of plated buffet, no lineups, huge variety and is not repetitive . Fantastic breads and deserts as well. Very happy with the choice.

The rooms in Club Med need to be renovated as do the bathrooms. The resort is old and need to be updated. The main restaurant also needs to be renovated as is the only restaurant there. The beach needs to be cleaned more often, and the beach sand should be levelled off.

We had a very warm welcome when arriving at the hotel and the atmosphere from that moment never stopped. Excellent and very friendly staff. Grounds are immaculate. Room was perfect. 2nd floor with a view of the ocean, but we didn't spend much time other than to sleep as the beach was soooooo beautiful. The app for Club Med was spot on (giving you the activities for each day, dress code for dinners, and all the information for your flight home). Our luggage was brought up to our room on arrival and taken for us on departure. Felt completely safe and well taken care of on our holiday. Food was excellent each and every meal! Absolutely not 1 complaint. I believe we have now become Club Med travelers lol! You won't be disappointed at the hotel (and if you are, you are not appreciating what the hotel has to offer or appreciating the kindness of the staff) We will definitely be back! Good job everyone!!!!

I absolutely loved this trip, the water, the food, so relaxing. A lot of the staff were off standish, and the drinks were watered down. The beach is so beautiful. I would return, just for the water. The resort was small, the rooms even smaller. I had the luxury of having my own room. The bed was a king size and very comfy. My friends said they would return, and just rent a condo.

Downfalls are: French is the language spoken with very few employees that speak English. Communication was difficult if you don’t have any knowledge of French. Some food labeled in both languages but a lot were not. The appetizers did come out until dinner was opened at 7pm, which I find late to eat. No drink service on the beach. You had to walk back to the bar which wasn’t close for a drink. Martinique is not a tourist island. The resort is at least an hour to any kind of shopping and there are no shuttles to take you around. I have to say the resort itself is beautiful and so is the beach. The rooms were very nice but only English speaking tv channels are CNN and one other I don’t remember. Not that you are there to watch tv but at the end of the evening it would be nice . They had evening entertainment, again mostly in French. When the live entertainment played the did sing some songs in English. There were activities that could be joined in everyday. Overall if you are bilingual you would enjoy yourself.

Very good food buffet style but with so many options. Beach was clean and amazing best beach on the island. The Geos were more friendly than the locals. Service was amazing at check in and shuttle was fast.

To start, the Club Med app provides little or no information even with the update. When you click through an activity you expect more information not just a bare bones description. So much more detail could be provided. Just one small example: they had a poker night. It didn't really say what kind of poker, how many people could participate or if there was a cost. Secondly the lack of English speaking G.O.s in key positions. I felt isolated and unimportant. Trying to find out if the in room tablet could could be in English, the thought being it would have more information, we were told to change the settings but no one new how. Thanks to Tarik (aqua gym and snorkle G.O.) checking in with our group once and awhile, helped ease some of our problems. Finally the food. Last year when I was at Turks and Caicos, I was so excited every meal. There were so many plated meals along with self serve options. The quality was much higher in my opinion. This trip I struggled to find some thing great. I expected more refined French cuisine not pots of stew and cut meats which were not often warm.

The resort is spread out on a very long stretch of beautiful beach. Resort is very clean and well kept. There are only 2 bars, which-are quite a distance from the beach area’s. There is no pool or beach service. There is also no snack bar. Buffet is only open for a few hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food was just ok and had repeat choices everyday. If you love fish, this place is for you. No coffee service ( you have to get your own) from a machine. Wine is the only selection at dinner and lunch. Our group was English speaking. We fully understand this is an island owned by France, however there was really no one who spoke English even though the resort indicates French and English. On our way to the resort from the airport, the hotel representative spoke for approximately 10 minutes in French only. We were given no information regarding the resort. We just had to figure stuff out for ourselves. We went to Club Med Turquoise Turks last year and it was amazing! We unfortunately found out that all Club Meds are not the same. This resort is definitely not a 5 star. Spend your hard earned money on a true 5 star resort, not this resort.

Club Med went over and above with all their services. Food was great! Each day brought different menu options and the created dishes were easy access. Saturday night was an elegant dinner night with white linens and chairs covered with white linens and dinner and show that night was over the top! Snorkeling, sail boats were available twice a day, every day, except on a bad weather day. Beach water was warm, beautiful, however, a little deep for me, 6', I was glad I brought my floaties. Most people brought their floaties too. Room was small, but cozy, and comfortable single bed. Entertainment was excellent every night, with dancing afterwards til 2pm. Great for singles and mingling. I would love to vacation in other countries choosing Club Med!

If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere, with amazing food and a beautiful beach and wonderful smily faces and happy people, this is the place for you. Highly recommended for couples and singles..

The resort and food was amazing. Every meal was different Lots of chairs on the beach and at the pool. Rooms are a bit outdated but very clean. Staff are very engaging with visitors. Lots of activities if you want to participate.

Grounds - The resort has a long coast line, wrapped around the southern point of the hotels zone. More beach than garden space. - The grounds are generally clean and well maintained. - Two receptions: - Main - for general public - Auqamarina - for pricier rooms - There is an exclusive area of the club named Jade. No access for the general public. Rooms - We found the rooms smaller that you average hotel in this price range. - No strange smells - A/C and hot water worked well. Public Areas - Beach - The sandy beach is on the North end and it's sheltered by a natural wave-break. - Good for swimming. - White sand, does not get too hot in the sun. - Plenty of palapas for shade. - One can snorkel on this beach and can see some wild life. - The main entertainment is happening here. It can get loud at times. - The guests are not in the habit of reserving lounge chairs, which is nice. - The rocky beach on the East is where the snorkeling is supposed to happen, is more exposed to the winds. The sea bottom is not very populated and you may see the occasional plastic bag or other garbage. - Further south there are narrow quiet and somewhat rocky beaches with lounge chair and umbrellas. - Pools - There are two pools for the general public - One by the main beach. Did not see too many people using it, unlike other resorts where most guests are crowding the pools. - Another on the South end - by the Aquamarina reception. - The Jade are has its own pool. Dining - The buffet is generally ok. Selection is limited, probably due to inflation and other economic factors. - A nice touch are the pre-set dishes which invite to a properly portioned meal. - The A La Carte restaurants are pretty average. We visited once and did not have a reason to return. - The drinks/cocktails are not great. The alcohol content seems to be halved from the bottle already. Not a big deal, but still ... - They offer vine and other alcohol for sale, which is marked up a lot. - They have lager and amber beer, which are fine. - The complimentary wine is ok. - The coffee is also ok, except the ones from the automatic machines. We preferred the pot coffee and the one prepared on the classic espresso machines. - The restaurant staff is generally very nice, except the occasional young waiter seemingly reluctant or overwhelmed. Features - The Gym is clean and open almost all day. Well furnished with working machines. - Wifi is available all around the resort. - They have a Kindergarten to entertain you kids. They seem to be running on business hours (9 to 5). Activities - Nice to have a resort where you can hear French as the default language, for a change. - The G.O. team is on top of this. They work had to keep you entertained if you whish so. - Evening shows all week. - Pre-shows they have great singers to perform. - Post-shows you may have a party in the main bar. - There are a lot of activities to participate. One can check the Club Med app for up to date info. - Yoga, dance lessons, aqua-aerobics, stretching, etc. - Included kayaking, and sailing. These can be limited by the weather conditions. On our trip were mostly closed due to a government weather advisory. - Some sea excursions leave from the resort Laguna, which is very convenient. Nice touches - The resort manager is omnipresent, constantly keeping in touch with the guests. I did not see this in any other resort we visited. - The commute from an to the airport was very good. Short drive, plus they check on your flight for you and accommodate for delays. - Tipping is appreciated but never hinted.

Lovely resort with amazing food! If you want to do activities all day long there is lots to do - tennis, circus school, yoga, gym etc.. If you want to be quiet on the beach there is lots of space for that.

Rooms are dated but very clean and comfortable. Food was very good and changed at every meal time and different selection at every service. Beach was Amazing Best Beach we have ever been on Clear Water, White Sand No Weeds in Water. Free Activities. The Shows at night were all fabulous especially the Music Factory Show. The Staff are all Amazing and very Personable.

The resort needs some sprucing up. Food was good but not great. Entertainment excellent but repetitive Beds were great, bathrooms need updating. Staff friendly and helpful. Make sure to bring bug spray or you will be eaten alive by mosquitoes. But other than that it was a good time with friends

An amazing place to visit. It was on my bucket list for last 10 years and finally were able to make it. August was a cheap month to travel however it was extremely HOT. Amazing property don’t expect a huge room and luxury, it served the purpose. The mattress was not good 😌 I woke up tired every day. Food was amazing 🤩. One thing that bothered me on this resort was all admin staff was either white or Spanish the labour positions were filled by black people. The admin staff was allowed to party at night with the guest but the rest couldn’t. I would go back again but a different time. Everything was expensive. But I didn’t see too much tipping on this resort. We visited the local grocery store and a whole chicken was $35 USD.

All resort staff were extremely friendly! White sand beach with turquoise water and a resort full of flowers. Room was modest but clean as the entire resort. All restaurants are open spaces on the beach, great food and nice atmosphere. I recommend the trip with the catamaran around the island. Great vacation, we will definitely return!

Amazing resort. We really love these smaller type resorts with one pool , one restaurant steps away for all our meals and then the piece de resistance : The Beach. Literally seconds away from the pool and gorgeous. Rooms are nice and also not far away. We don't need several a la cartes and 15 bars. People were great , lively all the time but not too noisy. Smiles all around all the time was essential. Great job Club Med and thank you Trip Central and especially our agent : Susan Snider. Have been with Trip Central for over a decade , and will continue on into the next decade. Kudos to everyone !!! William Ribaric

Club Med Turquoise was excellent…..phenomenal beach, terrific food, great activities and fun GO's…..safe island with all double vaxed at the resort and on the island itself and pre antigen tested too….PCR test at the resort for return to Canada…..Club includes Covid insurance in the package too…..a big thank you to agent Sue Snider for all you assistance with the booking….we will return to this club……

Great food, Great entertainment, Great time. didnt want to leave. Great customer service. The bread was amazing. Food was good. couldnt ask for more. The beach was amazing. The room was good nothing crazy but with a beach like theres who needs to be in a room all day.

As former G.O's, we have always enjoyed club med and had experienced other villages but this was our first time in Cancun. The team was wonderful..props to Shilou and Tino who were energetic, friendly and available as GO's should be. The Aguamarina building is far from the main area but perfect for quiet and getting a third level ocean view room was the way to go. It is a French company so there are a lot of French speakers but a lovely ambiance. Club Med's beach was the best on the whole strip. Would definitely go again. We went to Moon Palace (the Grand) last year and would never go back. It is close to the airport which was lovely. Beware: Air Transat was late their and back....with no consideration to the passengers. go another airline if you can. As always, Debbie Maguire was and amazing agent and would definitely use her again...as this is my 6th one with her!!

Nous avons adoré le club med colombus isle Tout y est super, la nourriture, le resto au bout de la plage est extra le midi, le bar adjacent, on peut s'y reposer, lire, la mer ouff que dire extraordinaire!!! Pour les ados, les adultes tout est bien aménagé les chambres sont propres et bien aménagées...

The resort was great for our large group of families - small enough that we could always find each other but spacious enough to have time to ourselves. There were large connecting family rooms, very good food at the buffet restaurant and a beautiful sandy beach with no rocks or weeds. The grounds were clean and the staff were gracious. Loved the sports programs including trapeze, archery, soccer, beach volleyball, bacci and basketball - the kids used these facilities daily. The only criticism I would give: We would have liked to have a balcony (not aware that this was not the case until arrival) and the rooms are dated. Otherwise great family holiday and perfect weather in March.

Pros: staff are wonderful, beach is surreal, weather is perfect. Cons: resort is very run down, we had bugs in our room when we arrived, and there are cob webs in all public areas. Needs a full refurbishment. Some aspects I would consider a safety issue, like poor lighting in eating areas and walkways at night. We will definitely return to this island but will look for alternative accommodations.

Since we travelled from Toronto there is no direct flight to Matinique and we had to connect through Montreal. We have friends there so visited them and stayed over night to catch our flight out at 8:30 (a mostly civilized time of morning to fly) on Air Canada. We have never travelled to Martinique nor have we visited a Club Med so this was an experience to say the least. We bought our trip through Club Med (via our travel agent) so our transfers to/from the resort were with Club Med. They have a booth at the airport where you meet the rep and get your luggage tags and wristbands. As others have said - it is VERY FRENCH!! 90% of the guests are from France, there are often 3 and 4 flights from France per day. The staff were very good about my extreme lack of French (alas, my high school french from 30 years ago has not remained with me), and my youngest teenager who has had french since grade school found it difficult to follow the quick speech patterns. Never the less, we were fine (we didn't really venture out so I can't say what might have happened in town). We had a 2 bedroom oceanview room in the 800 block, at the quiet end of the property (which is LARGE). Essentially it was 2 interconnecting rooms - great for 2 large teens to have their own room with their OWN bathroom. I love the european way of doing bathrooms in resorts - the toilet is separate from the shower/sinks so 2 can use the facilities at the same time. Being oceanview, we had a very HOT balcony in the afternoons so any sitting outside was done in the morning or late around 5 pm. The rooms were kept very clean by the lovely ladies (Poula laughed when I pouted when I said Au Revoir to her as we left yesterday morning). There is a couch/extra bed in each room and 2 twin beds that are used to make a king. BEDS - while I slept decently I can say that they NEED REPLACING!!!! My husband's was like sleping in a trough and when I looked over at the bed from the rather uncomfortable couch it looked like the gophers had been at it with all its hills and valleys. On that note, my husband did comment when we were at the airport waiting for our flight home, that the steel chair he was sitting on was the most comfortable one he had sat in all week. We found all the chairs uncomfortable (deck chairs were directors chairs), bar chairs were so low to the ground we felt like little kids in them. Ok, enough about the chairs. The beach was lovely, needed more palapas and more palm trees though. You have to search fro the right spot that will give you enough shade to shift your beach chair into as the sun moves around during the day. In France the beaches are public so there are often people on the Club Med beach who are not staying at the resort. For the most part they will be on their own towels and chairs (we did see some using the club chairs down at the end of the beach) - we found it necessary to deposit personal belongings on chairs/palapas on our way to breakfast in order to secure shady spots. There was a LOVELY breeze (often very strong, beware the steel beach chairs, they pack a wallop when the wind picks up the back section - the bump on my head is just now going down) which keeps it nice and cool for sunbathing. The water was actually a bit chilly until you get used to it (not a bathtub like Cancun) and there is sea grass about 20 feet out so watch where you put your feet. We saw a HUGE starfish in the water one morning that a lovely French man pointed out to my boys (the language barrier not withstanding). The beach is a nice long one - great for stretching your legs after sitting on the lounger reading for hours. We had the daily entertainment of watching the locals walking up and down the beach selling bathing suits, wraps,coverups, swim trunks. They move quickly as I gather they aren't supposed to engage the guests directly but I found it interesting that they truck in BAGS of product with them each morning, set up shop under a tree, walk up and down the beach all morning with "costume" changes happening on the fly to show off their goods. They most sell a lot of items this way since they were their just about every day sometimes there were 6 or 7 of them). We did not partake in any of the club activities - but the waterskiing looked like fun and went on from 9am until dusk. There were morning exercise classes in the beach pavilion if you wanted to stretch or do a step class. Food - well, it was mostly good. Some days it was better than others. I am not a fish lover so I did have to scrounge for food on Fish night - even the salads on the buffet all had fish/ocean creatures in them. Some things are labelled but a lot of the salads aren't so you will have to ask what is in them if you can't identify by sight. I certainly didn't starve (gained weight actually) if nothing appeals then there is always pizza and pasta and LOTS of lovely fresh breads. The chocolate croissants in the morning were divine! They relied on salads (greens and mixed) for veggies, there weren't too many choices in the hot veggies. LOTS of protein in various forms available. My youngest and I went on a 1/2 day tour - we were a bit concerned when the tour guide indicated he only spoke French and Creole (we had asked please for an english speaking guide) and were almost not going to go when he started speaking English to us ( he was having fun with us). We saw the south side of the island, the stop at Josephine Bonapart's house was nice but too long (had to wait for the tour) so it took away from the visit to Habitation Clement where we could have spent more time. NOTE: purchasing your rum on the tour is definitely worth it. As the French guests don't have restrictions on what they can bring home (duty tax), a few on our tour had BOXES full of rum! The island itself is lovely from what we saw. It is a part of France, so is more like a French province and less like a Carribean island (if this makes sense). There is a beautiful, newly paved HIGHWAY around the island, complete with overpasses and roundabouts. Travel around the island is efficent (though does take time given the terrain) and the main roads are very good. You do have to go farther afield to find the old island flair as it seems Martinique is much more "cosmopolitan" than the Carribean I am used to (McDonalds' with a drive thru is NOT my idea of an advancement). There are mosquitoes and I think there are sand fleas (had a few bites on my feet,ankles but not many - we were using a lavender sunscreen which I think helped). Chikungunya virus is on the island and you are warned to use mosquito repellents. The Club is taking preventative measures (sprays I believe) and does inform you on the bus from the airport. I had my family taking preventive homeopathics for it all week. Lastly, a word of advice for the airport (which is NOT the typical island airport - there are JETWAYS, no walking outside on the tarmack). There is only 1 shop in the airport departures lounge (Duty Free plus some other goods) so don't plan to do any last minute shopping there as there really isn't anything to buy. There is a small shop on the concourse before security that advertises all their products can go through security but I didn't want to test that theory. So, would I return? I think so. Nothing to keep me from not going back, but I'm still looking for THE PLACE. Stayed March 2014, travelled with family
