My wife and I had a pleasant and relaxing time in April at Oceans Divi Little Bay in Sint Maarten. Having stayed at more than a dozen 4 and 5 star resorts throughout the Caribbean, I can safely say this resort is a solid 3 star for quality. The more expensive Oceans all-inclusive is totally integrated with the rest of the resort, timeshare owners and day visitors. Highlights: Friendly, though overworked, staff. Excellent made-to-order pizza at the "Slice" pizza shack and shrimp taco from "The Shack". Excellent three level infinity pool with plenty of loungers. Likewise at the sargassum-free expansive soft sandy beach. On the other hand the entertainment was mediocre and our room had several issues. A bonus from Air Canada vacations was that their bus, that shuttled us to and from the airport, also provided us with a 4 hour tour of the entire island (with 1 hour stops to discover Marigot and Philipsburg) for only $25 US each.

The staff truly made this vacation special. I believe people treat you the way you treat them, and everyone at the Divi was warm and welcoming. A special thank you to the ladies at reception, and to Edrick and Felix for helping us get to our rooms. We travelled with our mothers, who had some mobility issues, but the golf cart service made getting around easy, especially with the stairs and longer walks. The food was fantastic! We found the Premium option, which you can pay for when you arrive, was worth it because it gave us access to all the restaurants and cafés on site and in turn offered more dinner options. Mimi and Caron at the breakfast buffet were lovely, and Laurel at the pizza place was a friendly face we were happy to see each day. Booking dinner reservations was easy, and we were never limited when reserving. The property was clean, and the view from our third-floor Oceans room was amazing. Fort Amsterdam was also worth the short walk. We went every day to see the baby pelicans and iguanas and enjoy the beautiful views. The ocean and beach were beautiful, and getting beach chairs and umbrellas was never a problem. Every vacation is what you make of it. Things move on island time, so it may feel a little slower than what you are used to at home, but with the right attitude, you will have a wonderful time!

Oceans by Divi Bay Resorts in St Marteen exceeded our expectations! Views, setting, pools, beaches were all absolutely beautiful! Resort was clean, fun, rooms in Oceans offered stunning views of Caribbean and resort grounds! All staff friendly, professional and kind!

We had a wonderful stay at Divi Little Bay Beach Resort. The location and beach are specular. Rooms were modern, well maintained, and offered better charging options than many business hotels. Pools around the resort are plentiful and refreshing. The resort is close proximity to Philipsburg, Simpson Bay, and not too far from Marigot. The food and bar service were excellent, especially the lobster dinner and prime rib night. The only small quibbles are that restaurant service could be slow, especially at dinner. Also, we were required to check-out at 10 am and lost access to the All Inclusive Plan at that time, despite having not arrived at the hotel until nearly 4 the prior week and having a later airport pickup than check-out time. Most All-inclusive resorts don't skimp on a couple extra hours of day service in this way. Also, the Nespresso machine in our room never worked and was never repaired, despite several requests. These are small details relative to the overall quality of the resort.

The hotel is updated and cleaner than before. However.., the service is not as I remembered. The cost is about 12% higher and the service about 14% lower than before. This I’d S our 4th trip to the Divi Beach all inclusive . Some of the bar staff were difficult for no reason . This was quite concerning as we only visited them once or twice per day. Room cleaners were excellent

Nice resort with their own bay, very clean everywhere! Good assortment of restaurants! Hotel room was well laid out and lots of space. Approximately 20 min. walk from Philipsburg, bit hilly but very doable. Only thing I'd like to mention is that the flight with WestJet was operated by Swoop and that was very basic. No screen availability. Luckily we didn't have someone sitting beside us but my husband could not sit straight with his legs

Great room 30 steps from beach chair, no issue with chairs always got them without waking up at 6am and marking as in other resorts , fantastic food , even the buffet had a electronic beeper system so no lines anywhere for food choices , long sandy beach , the winds kept the sand cool so no issues with 2pm feet burn, etc just overall 10

I highly recommend the Divi Golf. Everything was top notch from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We had to change rooms due to one of the party, not being able to do the stairs and they moved us immediately to the ground floor. We were able to make unlimited reservations at the À la carte restaurants. Again, no complaints here as the food was amazing. Every morning we tried a new breakfast and we both found the Sea breeze on our resort. Site was the best. We definitely will be returning soon to the Divi Golf Aruba.

Great location, close to the pools and restaurants. Super courteous staff. Excellent food morning. lunch and dinner. Short walk to the lobby. The market is equal to a super market. Great selection of wine and beer. I could even find distilled water! Cabs at the door will drive you anywhere. The best resort we have been to. We will probably return.

The Sunwing Rep was not in the airport terminal with the other reps, she was outside on the sidewalk. No contact information was provided and she did not appear at any other time even though she was sorely needed later. See below. We were placed on the second floor of what must be the original hotel. Since Dorothy has a disability we asked to be moved to the ground floor, which was granted. This room was beautifully situated directly on the beach. It was close to the Office and a short distance to the restaurants. The furniture was nice but the bathroom badly needed a complete renovation. Water pressure was low and there was always a long wait for any warm, not hot, water to appear. The tub was a dated design and posed a hazard since it's side was dangerously high. When the shower was used water poured from the tiles, We were forced to pack facecloths and towels on the tug sill to prevent major flooding of the bathroom floor. Several restaurants did not provide coffee at lunch time and the machine in our room did not work. When Westjet cancelled the return flight at the last moment, a Sunwing should have been available to help us find accomodation for that night. No such aid was provided! The beach is not private and is often overcrouded. We paid huge money for this holiday and it was NOT WORTH IT!

Very quaint and relaxing resort. We will return. One troubling situation is the small space two parrots are living in. The space is so small they fought and it needs to be at least two or three times the size.

This was the best vacation resort we have visited. The room was spacious, and clean. Our room was at the opposite end of the resort as the bar and restaurants, which was perfect as we like it quieter. Even though it was close to the Infinity pool, it was tranquil, with little noise. This pool was perfect for us, as it was not very busy. There were other pools, but they seemed busier, which might be perfect for some people. The restaurants offered a variety of choices. Our plan only included breakfast, which was exactly what we wanted. The choices were plentiful and well prepared. The beach area was amazing. Snorkelling was great right there, and the beach was clean, and not too crowded. We cannot say enough good words about the staff. Everyone we met was friendly, very competent, and went out of their way to provide excellent client services. It was our favourite vacation location so far and we plan to return.

The room was very nice. This is our second trip to this location. We booked a garden view room each time but still had a view of the Caribbean Sea which was a bonus. Food was good. Resort was clean. Most staff were very friendly. Beaches were great. The drinks were watered down and of poor quality. That was okay because the wine (Argentinian) was very good.

We enjoyed this resort immensely. Our rooms were modern and clean with a hard working staff who aimed to please. The restaurants were great and an abundance of good food and drinks. At this resort you are able to travel easily by shuttle to the sister resort .

Nice resort, beautiful beach, great food but no variety. More for older people. Not for young people. Not many families with young kids. Very very limited gluten free options. Very few people understand gluten allergies. Would recommend for retired or older couples with no kids only.

Amazing experience. Staff were nice, food were great, rooms were equipped with A/C, daily cleaned. We enjoyed our time sitting at the bar at night where we are entertained with live music, the sweet sound of the ocean.

Very happy with the Divi. Just what we were looking for. One bedroom apartment with kitchen. Lovely pool. Numerous restaurants,bar and grocery store just outside of hotel grounds. Beach very nice but rough waters. I would suggest upgrading to pool view rooms.

Lots of fun for everyone! Great service, love the shuttle service, food was excellent, terrific location, gorgeous beach, room was steps from the ocean and service was fantastic! We’ve already recommended the resort to family and friends and they’re heading there next month :-)

The hotel beach is a 10 for sure. The rooms were clean about an 8 out of 10. The rooms were not clear of sand on the floor because they don't get vacuumed. The hotel grounds are not very nice as they are filled with buildings with no green space. There is a short boardwalk near the beach which was nice. The drinking water was excellent. No need to buy bottled water. There were several nice pools. The food was excellent, a 9 for sure.

From the moment we booked with Eliana at Tripcentral and picked the Divi All Inclusive Aruba our dream trip began. We chose the Elite Plus package with the flight and truly benefitted from the experience. The extra attention and leg room were perfect. Arriving at the hotel, we were met with friendly,knowledgeable people who provided us with all we would need to know and we were delighted with our spacious room in the pool view 4 story building. The room was relatively new and overlooked the pools and the ocean.the housekeeping personal were fantastic. We were thrilled with the food and tried several restaurants both at Divi and Tamarijn. The Red Parrot restaurant was one of the finest we have ever been to. The views the people the food just incredible. This resort was better than some of the Sandals we have been to and much more affordable. We were celebrating the end of cancer treatments and this trip was just the perfect choice. Best beach in all of #sxm! Great food, and friendly staff. Would definitely come back in a heartbeat. 🍤🍤🍤. Would like to see a bit quicker service at times during busy times, but they are always willing to try harder next meal. If you go anywhere in st. maarten, you must consider this place first! 🥂

The overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The staff was very friendly. However, the fact that the Wi-Fi connection almost never worked in our room was quite frustrating. We also feel that the resort (rated 4 star) should stock the fridge in the rooms with soft drinks. There were also some piles of unsightly construction materials on the grounds close to our room.

Amazing week at the Divi - the people are amazing and the facilities are outstanding! Well kept, clean and safe. Lots to do in and around the resort. I would recommend the Divi to couples or families looking to get away. The weather was fantastic.

Very nice resort. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, very clean, great beach. Some restaurants were better than others but acceptable food at all. Main bar in lobby always slow service but every other bar was quick. Housekeeping did a great job every day

The Divi Aruba is the perfect spot for a quiet relaxing vacation in the sun. Never having been to Aruba before, we were a bit concerned it would be too hot there. But the constant trade winds made it comfortably warm all the time. The Resort has several pools and bars, as well as a lovely buffet and 3 great a la carte restaurants. The staff is friendly, the place is nice and clean and the beach is awesome. It's a perfect location for families and couples. Not a real party place which was just fine with us. The Red Parrot a la carte was good enough for us to go back twice! Every evening there is a band or singer playing by the beachside bar, which we enjoyed. For a mere $10 cab ride, we went offsite to the nearby cruise port of Oranjestad for a half day of shopping. We didn't try any of the excursions as the beach and 'floating and bobbing' in the waves, were exactly what we had in mind this vacation. The pools are all closed from 7 pm to 7 am, which is disappointing if you enjoy swimming at night. Otherwise we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Divi Aruba to anyone wanting a comfortable, safe and wonderfully relaxing vacation in the sun.

Small resort. 5 min taxi to Phillipsburg. No other restaurants within safe walking distance other than the ones on the resort. So budget for taxi or rental car. The beach and water at resort below average.

Hotel room was very spacious modern and clean, we had a 1 bedroom suite on the first floor overlooking the golf course and a man made lake, it was a great and relaxing view!! The beach is just across the street but very easy access, also i rented a car and with my wife we drove all around aruba to different restaurants and beaches, overall in my opinion aruba is not a place to go all inclusive since there are so many great places to eat and see and price will even out in the end. Great vacation!!! Highly recommend, snorkeling, baby beach, 4x4 off roading and go see the pretty birds on display @ the hilton:)

The hotel older, in maintenance mode, and they stuggle to keep up. The odd thing is "not perfect", but the place is comfortable, clean and functional. It is monitored by Timeshare sales people. They can be annoying, but handled. You are told that tips are included in your normal price for things, but Tip jars are everywhere on the resort. The wind always blows, the surf always roars, nice beach, but not lit after dark. Beach walks after dark are risky due to the sand flys and the holes in the sand left by umbrella poles. Nightly entertainment was good. There are party's hosted by the resort, designed to convince you to buy Timeshare after filling you with free alcohol. Bar prices fluctuate based in time of day. Beer at 1 US penny per milliliter suddenly becomes twice that after sun down.

The resort was beautiful. Peaceful place to get away. Service was good, view from our room was amazing and the beach was so wonderful. It was warm every day but nice breeze to keep it from being too hot!

The grounds and beach were very nice. The beach and ocean was the real highlight. service was good, not great. Food ok. Beach made up for all of IT. Beautiful island and people. The casino and main town was Very nice

Very disappointing for a four star resort and very expensive for what you got. Loved Aruba and the people (which is why I rated our vacation two stars instead of one) but would never go back to a Divi resort. Place was very old and tired looking. Definitely needs some renos. Small pool and no hot tub! Aruba is very windy and somewhat cool at night so hot tub would have been nice. The food was awful. Needed a table saw to cut the beef--definitely not 4 star food. We stayed at Couples last year for less money and it was far superior. Plus the package included transfers to and from the airport. No one picked us up to take us to the airport on the return home and all the resort said was "we don't deal with Sunwing". After trying to call someone to no avail we hailed a cab so we could make our flight at a cost of $25 US. I have yet to be reimbursed.
