Verified PurchaserRoyal St. Kitts: Great place to stay
The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, it’s located directly across from the beach and has a grocery store right outside the hotel. Perfect place for families as the rooms come with a Kitchen.
This is an exceptional resort snuggled and hidden in the mountains and hills in Riviera Nayarit. About 2 km in length rather than the usual square or boxed in resorts with the tall buildings. At this resort you can take in the tropical greenery, the birds and the wildlife. Getting around is easy.....either get your excercise by walking 1 or 2 km per day or hop onto the 2 dozen electric go-carts that will wisk you away to the different pools, hot tubs, water park or restaurant. (You still have the option to go to Delta's beach property and jump into the ocean). The food is great, the waiters go out of their way to make you feel like at home. For my wife and I (already in our mid 80's....this was a real treat that we will never forget!! If we hold out any longer, we will return!! Joyce and Victor - Winnipeg, Canada
We had a wonderful week at Sanctuary Cap Cana once again! We stayed at this resort back in 2021 and were lucky to stay here again this past month. It was as beautiful and relaxing as I remembered. The staff is amazing and extremely accommodating. The only downside to the trip this time around is the way they are now doing reservations for dinner at certain restaurants. You have to make reservations at 2 restaurants on the resort, and not at the 2 others. The entire reservation process is extremely confusing and takes a long time to do and after sitting with the concierge for an hour to make 2 reservations, as the day(s) came around for the reservations, they were apparently no where to be found and we were told we were out of luck and no longer had an option to dine there. It is an unnecessarily complicated and ineffective process. This system was not in place the last time we stayed and it honestly tainted our stay overall because of the frustration. We have stayed at resorts that had either no reservations at any restaurants and were first come first serve AND also at resorts that were reservations for all dining. Either is fine. But this system they’ve adopted is not good at all and would probably affect my choices to stay again, I was that frustrated and disappointed with it.

Verified PurchaserRoyal St. Kitts: Frigate Fantastic
The hotel was very clean and the staff was exceptionally accomodating. All front desk met our needs but Jayce went above and beyond. The pools were good and not really busy. Beach access was easy with one directly across the road but others were very easy to get to as well. The resort and island in general seemed very safe but they had 24 hour security as well. There is a strip mall in the front of the parking lot with all amenities, grocery, drug, bakery/cafe and a Hard Rock. The restaurant on property was very good and it seems pizza is there speciality. We found that for the price this was a very good resort and would definitely return.
This resort is located about 40 mins North of Puerto Vallarta. Nestled in the mountains it has lots of fauna to shade you from the sun. It doesn’t have a beach but does offer a shuttle to the beach where the resort has a section on the beach with a full pavilion and restaurant. The resort never felt busy, lots of pool options to sit by and watch the reptiles climbing trees. Food is very good and staff were extremely friendly. Can’t wait to return to this resort.

Verified PurchaserAruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino: Something for everyone
My husband and I spent a week at the Marriott Hotel and Casino and had a great time. The property is clean, spacious and has amazing staff! The beach is beautiful, minimal waves, great spot! The chairs go quick in the morning, actually standing in line at 7:00am…The beach palapa can be rented for $30.00, or sign on at 5:00pm for free, (towel staff helped me).We were pleased with the meals and selection. We would recommend this fresh property.
Grounds are well kept and an interesting layout. The golf cart to the top of the hill was great.
Our room was lovely, and the bed super comfy.
The many interesting pools scattered throughout the property were fun to explore and try out.
We mastered calling to reserve a spot on the shuttle to get down to the beach.
The beach club was lovely with attentive staff.
Overall the food was ok, but nothing special....with the exception of the very cool "food truck" with delicious quesedillas in the afternoon.
Wish there was more entertainment as well.

I actually stayed at the Courtyard Miami Adventura for 1 night precruise....everything was satisfactory as it was part of my cruise package...the only downside was having to arrange my own transfer from the airport to the hotel...fyi hotels in Ft Lauderdale seem to cater more to airport transfers to and from complementary
Rooms are lovely and clean and spacious , dining is very good , great food and baking etc. Very expensive though , so bting lots and lots of money! Shuttle to beaches is nice to have since Marriott Beach is not there now! Staff are all amazing! Lots of restaurants close by!

Verified PurchaserDelta Marriott Orlando Lake Buena Vista: Read and listen to the other reviews
The reviews are accurate. Beautiful lobby. Dark and damp hallways. We stayed on the 4th floor. Everything is clean but yes, the rooms are outdated and peeling headboards etc. Small bathrooms. But I feel like we got what we paid for (not a negative thing).
No shuttles to Disney.
No included breakfast.
Paid parking.
At times it felt like we were the only 'family' staying there as we only saw pilots checking in/out.
Nice outdoor pool.

Our first trip to Calgary was a great experience. We stayed at the hotel for four nights. The hotel is centrally located, with friendly staff and a wide variety of breakfast options. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. The only downside was that breakfast should be served at least until 10 am. Verified PurchaserRoyal St. Kitts: Hotel
Trip was great. Hotel was ok. Needs to have all inclusive packages . Was given a room on ground floor. Had a flood to to heavy rains . No power , wifi or water for a day . No apologies or compensation given . On checking there was a charge of $ 5 for using the room phone to make a local call, since their wifi was out. Had to get a manager involved to waived the charge.
Also package include airport transfer but none was provided . Had to pay for my own taxis to and fro the hotel. Needs reimbursement for that .
The hotel was absolutely amazing. Had every amenity, two pools, right on private beach. The staff were absolutely the best. We did have a personal issue which the hotel addressed immediately. Madeline the manager was very accessible and addressed our concern with respect and immediately. Thank you for a great experience. We would definitely return. Verified PurchaserCuracao Marriott Beach Resort: Newly refurbished resort and they've done a fantastic job.
This resort has recently been refurbished and the results are amazing. The staff are excellent, the beach is wonderful (even some reasonable snorkeling) and the grounds are immaculate. They have several restaurants but not a big difference in levels of quality/ambience. There are very few off-premise restaurants that are within walking distance but there are a couple that offer a good change in menu.
Everything was exceptional with no complaints, except one. The only option for breakfast is a $26 buffet. While it is an excellent buffet, we really don't want, or need, such a huge breakfast everyday. If they had a menu option available it would be much better. Otherwise you can only purchase a croissant or muffin which isn't really "vacation" food.
If you are looking for a quality, relatively quiet place with excellent service, then I would recommend the Marriott. PS there is no casino at the Marriott but there is one next door at Dreams.

Verified PurchaserResidence Inn Marriott Palm Desert: Sunny Getaway
My husband and I were looking for an escape from the cold + rainy Vancouver and Palm Springs did not disappoint. We chose the Residence Inn due to both price and the fact that breakfast was included! It was also very handy to have access to a full kitchen in our room which gave us the option to eat in or go out. The service was great and staff very friendly and helpful (shout-out to Judith). We enjoyed using the gym daily (which is quite large and very quiet), and took advantage of the social events held at the dining area in the evenings. The only downside was the location, however we were aware of this when we booked. It's a good distance from any of the Palm Springs/Desert 'action'. That being said, we rented a car which allowed us to explore the area with no difficulty. We would definitely recommend this hotel for couples and families alike and will certainly be back in the future.

Verified PurchaserCourtyard Bonaire Dive Resort: Great Location!
This hotel is ideally situated centrally on the island, close to downtown, central to all shore dive locations and near supermarkets and dive shops. There is abundant parking. Staff was always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. If you are diving and staying at this hotel, it has a great rinsing station available 24 hours, lockers if you need them (free with a refundable deposit). You can dive with Dive Friends if you choose which is located on the resort. We chose to dive with AB Dive instead, but the staff at Dive Friends we met were great. Some things to be aware of if you stay here. It is located near the airport. Planes are not a problem, but the airport fire department tests their equipment every morning between 7-7:30 am every morning. Not a problem for us because we were always up early, but may matter to some people. Could try to request staying in the north side rooms if a concern. Our room on the second floor had no places to hang or dry wet bathing suits, dive shirts or towels. We got pretty creative which meant things were hanging everywhere. Some of the rooms on ground level have chairs outside for drying.

Verified PurchaserCuracao Marriott Beach Resort: Sunscape Resort - Great Place to Stay
Just returned from a week at the Sunscape Resort in Curacao. The entire experience was awesome. Five great restaurants - Italian, Seafood, Japanese, Steak and Ribs and as always the all inclusive buffet. Surprising the Blue Water Grill which had the most amazing served beef tenderloin (in various presentations) at lunch and dinner every day. The food was delicious and ample and was only exceeded by the fantastic service. The automatic response from all the staff to the question was always "Excellent" - and they are truly genuine in their pleasure to be there and serve our requirements. The only issue we encountered was at the buffet where the level of service dropped off towards the end of the week.
The resort itself, although it has been around for a while, was very clean both in the rooms and on the grounds. The beach was well groomed with beautiful white sand with a break wall that kept the choppy waters of the ocean away from shore. Temperature was constant 78-84 around the clock and although we went during the rainy season we had one downpour on one morning for about 20 minutes. Before we left the weather forecast indicated cloudy all week - there were clouds that were constant but intermittent in nature and were a welcome break from the mostly sunny skies.
We have been to Aruba, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Martin, Cancun, Cuba and the Dominican Republic - Curacao was by far the best vacation yet.

Verified PurchaserResidence Inn Marriott Palm Desert: Nice resort except for the noise
This would be a nice place to spend some time around the pool or sitting on the deck if it wasn't for the fact that they were trimming and cutting down trees on the property and then chipping them all week. Usually a resort will advise in advance if there is construction and there will be noise that could inconvenience guests. The chainsaws and the tree chipper I am sure would have created more noise and it went all day for the entire week we were there. It didn't matter where you were on the property, including inside the room with the doors and windows closed, the noise was still present.

Verified PurchaserCuracao Marriott Beach Resort: Nice hotel
We did like the hotel, the gardens were well kept, the property was tidy and the overall place was clean. Sure the rooms are tired but the bed was comfortable and clean. Realistically you're not in your room for a long time your there to enjoy the weather and beach. However we had seen some negative reviews on the dining at this Marriot but we decided to go ahead with our trip as planned. We really should have paid closer attention to those reviews. We had opted for the "all inclusive" plan so we wouldn't have to pay for our meals, alcohol, or anything else. The breakfast buffet was good and Cerita and Gechi made us feel welcome every time we went for breakfast. They get a big thumbs up from us. Chris at the Emerald Lounge also was great to talk to and was helpful with our various questions about the island. Monique our server at the Palm Cafe was terrific! We told her we were renting a car and she gave us directions to go to various places on the island and was also very attentive to our ordering preferences. Now as I said the breakfast buffet was good, the lunch menu at Palm Cafe is OK but very limited. Dinner at the Emerald Lounge was not good at all. We ordered nachos with chicken and beef and had to send them back because the chips were stale and the beef looked like it came out of a can. Then we tried the pizza the same night. It was ok but really could have been cooked longer but we didn't send it back because we were starving. Another night we decided to try the "Marriot" burger. We were asked how we wanted it cooked and I replied medium well. It came to us a little charred on each side and bloody in the middle. How can someone screw up cooking a burger? Well their cook did. Then we tried Portofino's. First time it was edible but not great. Second time the ribeye was severely undercooked and sent back. It returned slightly more cooked but was so tough it couldn't be eaten. When you spend a lot of money for and all inclusive trip you expect to have decent meals to eat. It's pretty bad that you have to go offsite to get a good meal when you've already paid for it.

Verified PurchaserSt. Kitts Marriott: worst vacation of my life
worst vacation of my lfe. Air Canada rep informed us as we landed that the resort was hosting 600 families (Beck farmers). The resort was complete chaos with drunken fools running around daily, service was poor (except for a couple of hotel employees who tried to make up for the mayhem. we purchased all inclusive tickets but were forced to eat off resort twice because restaurants were full (due to 600 Beck families on resort)- and eating off resort is super expensive (because they don't grow anything on St Kitts). The lunch menus were extremely limited and we had to resort to eating pizza everyday (unless you like caribbean food (fish chowders and fried chicken ) which we dont. The only fruit available on the resort was cantaloupe and honeydew melons and some sour pineapple (melons are the cheapest fruits available). we booked an oceanview room but were placed in a cottage away from the main building (which was full with the 600 famiies). we had to climb 4 flights of stairs everyday because our cottage had no elevator. we also requested a kids free resort when we booked but the Beck farmers included kids. The beach was dirty (seaweed everywhere and the water was comparable to wasaga beach Ontario. we love nightlife- dancing and casinos- well NO dancing and the casinos allow locals to attend so youre constantly looking over your shoulder for fear of being mugged. The Kittitian pitt bosses know the locals so they let them get away with harassing the visitors. we definitely did not feel safe or had any fun on this resort. we will NEVER return and have already discouraged friends from visiting. I wont even get into the administration- suffice to say - check your bills!!!! we booked all inclusive but were charged for meals and drinks more than once. the front desk staff definitely require training. St Kitts must have earned a great reputation 20 years ago when they first opened but they haven't kept up since then,. the island is not developed and definitely NOT safe to wander off resort. we asked a cab driver to take us for a drive around the island and he was happy to take our money to do so but he struggled to think of what to show us because there was absolutely nothing to see but one closed down hotel, one closed down sugar cane factory- oh and he showed us their cemetery. very third world island.
