My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Renaissance Curacao, June 12-19, 2026. The location is the best home base for a stay on the island, plenty of restaurants at the hotel, "5 O'clock somewhere", Starbucks 2nd floor, Infinity beach club (served right to your lounge chair) , Nautilus Restaurant (main floor), make sure to note the happy hours as well at each. Rift Fort (beside hotel) plenty of restaurants, bars, coffee and ice cream shops - and a short walk to Downtown Willemstad and Village Hulanda for restaurants and shopping. The unique pool/beach is something to talk about, as there is no access to the ocean the infinity pool is located on the 2nd floor, lt overlooks the ocean and is made up of beach sand and sea water, (no fish) plenty of palm trees, sun, lounge chairs and a beach bar this makes for such a relaxing atmosphere. I felt like I was at the beach, so clean, had everything I needed, honestly loved this unique concept. There is also another regular infinity pool overlooking the ocean as well. There are many options for shopping right at the hotel, brand name and boutique stores. There is also a casino on site, many slot machines and tables, not a gambler but it did look like a great casino. Our room was #305 overlooking the beach/pool which was perfectly located and welcoming. Kept clean everyday, Perfect location to the beach, Starbucks runs and a beautiful view! What truly elevates this experience is the people, Martesano, the manager made sure we were always happy and always greeted us with a smile and great conversation, his hospitality is 100%. The doormen Roland, Alexia, and Miguel are the happiest people we have ever met at a resort. These fine people made you feel like part of their family and will leave a lasting impression on us. 100 % recommend Renaissance Curacao for your next vacation on the island! As for the island itself, make sure to rent a car, (Wheels to Go - at the hotel) parking was included at the hotel, travelling is easy, we were able to visit so many beautiful beaches and for just touring the island.

This resort is a rare gem, and tourists are taken care of from the moment they arrive, until they leave. The premises and the rooms are very clean, throughout the resort there is a lot of attention to details and everyone is friendly. We really felt welcome. The menu at "Aquarius" exceeded expectations, with healthy food items, as well as indulgent sweets, to make everyone feel good. This was our second trip to Renaissance Aruba and we will go back.

Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. The room was clean, spacious. the All inclusive package was amazing. Plenty of delicious food!! The flamingo island was so fun and the beach was so pretty. The flamingos were funny and very friendly. This holiday was one of the most incredible times we had as a family. Fresco is the italian restaurant on the grounds. The food was marvelous, and we chose to eat there every night. Delicious italian fresh food. From the manager to the wait staff were most accomodating, friendly and very professional. They would take the time to spend time with us and get to know us. the resort had a bbq night on the beach with entertainment , music and dancing. We saw a lot of young families enjoying their holiday.

Recently stayed at the Ocean suites in Aruba. Hotel was always clean and staff very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent with a wide variety to taste. Pools and beach were fantastic. The hotel has it's own Island beach so a quick water taxi ride over and you could enjoy the beach , flamingos and the restaurant . We were on an all inclusive package where the Hotel offers different packages such as discounted rates and pay as you go. The draw back was every time you get food or drink you had to give your room number to the server and were given a bill to sign. The bill already had a service charge in lieu of tip but was also suggesting tip amounts on the bill even for all inclusive. My wife felt uncomfortable giving the room number at the bar as one time another guest heard her # and then said I bet there will be a party back in the room with the same number she had just given. As a women it did not give her a safe feeling and I think it could be something the Hotel can correct for future guests.

My husband and I truly enjoy this resort! It is in a downtown locale and adult only. It is located on top of the luxury mall and attached to casino. We have also have access to Flamingo Island. Yes beautiful real birds!! Wonderful experience. Food is great. Award winning steak house part of our package. Very clean and staff very accommodating. Will be back!

Not your typical all inclusive resort. This property is very much a hotel on a street with some very unique features and amenities that set it apart from most other hotel / resorts. We enjoyed our stay. Aruba is amazing, the people are amazing and the food was out of this world. Don't be afraid to venture off into Oranjestad for dinners and entertainment!! The hotel offers a complimentary water taxi takes you to their private island with 2 beaches, restaurant, a bar & plenty of space to find a great spot under the sun. You will not be disappointed here. Restaurants, bars & service are excellent you never have to wait for a table. Standard guest rooms are small but adequate. The front desk staff were not my favorite people to deal with. Upon arrival, we waited nearly 30 minutes to check in. It wasn't a big lineup but we were continuously bypassed by Marriott "Platinum Elite" members. This was frustrating and in my mind unacceptable. Our room key cards were disabled 8 times during our 7-day stay. Returning to the front desk to get new key cards was a pain & typically resulted in some lame excuse about a "system upgrade". They were argumentative, cold and offered very little to our experience. A great trip nonetheless.

Our stay at the Renaissance Curacao was one of the best experiences we have ever had on a vacation. The staff was exceptional ! The hotel itself is nice but not 5 star. The customer service makes up for that.

Just got back from a week stay at this resort. We stayed on the adult only side, however had full access to the family side across the street as well. Was a beautiful hotel inside a mall and also had a casino. This hotel is located right in downtown so local shops were within 5 mins walking distance and a 10 min car ride to palm beach. We went with the all inclusive package, which was so worth it. Food and drinks were amazing!! So many choices of different meats, seafood etc. I am vegan and was worried about eating, they had a ton of options and are very familiar with what vegan is. If you let them know they will happily make you special things or point on what you can eat. The private island was one of our trips highlights. Took a 5 mins boat ride out every morning and enjoyed a not so packed beach with flamginos and iguanas! Overall very nice hotel. Very clean. Service was best I’ve ever experienced, the servers go way above and beyond. I will definitely be back to Aruba!

We did the all inclusive. The best food in any of the Caribbean islands by far. The food and variety at the Aquarius was fantastic. We stayed at the Marina hotel. Great staff.....very helpful and courteous to everyone. One day I saw one of the cleaning ladies helping an elderly woman take her walker up to the pool level to be able to see the ocean from the hotel.

Truly enjoyed the location of Renaissance. Right downtown across from ships and marina. Shopping and casino right in hotel superb! Walking distance to additional hotel on Ocean front. Pool and furniture nicely kept. No limit on towels. Lobby and bar very nice as well. Staff delightful and very polite. Service for food and beverage a bit slow. Private island stunning!! Would return without a doubt. The option of All Inclusive the way to go. Many wonderful options with that package.

The staff were great and the hotel was extremely clean. We loved the pool side bar and the food was good and reasonably priced. Loved that there was a Starbucks in the hotel as we r a fan of their Frapachinos. We would definitely return and recommend the resort to friends.

stayed there for 7 days last week and had a really great time. we paid for all inclusive and the package includes a lot of things except for a few signature cocktails, premium liquor and higher end steaks at the L.G Smith steakhouse. they have a total of 7 restaurants/bars you can pick from. On the Marina side (adults only) they have the blue bar (the bar beside the pool with great variety of good quality food), the aquarius buffet and the LG Smith steakhouse. the lounge (which is the lg smith steakhouse that opens midnight to 6am and obviously with different selection of food than during the day). On the Ocean Suites side (kids friendly), there's the Sole (bar and grill) and the Fresco (italian food). On the renaissance private island, there's the papagayo restaurant on the family friendly side and the mangrove beach bar on the adults only side. my girlfriend and i stayed at the marina side and we got the "island king room". originally we got room #07 but the view was of a shorter building right next door, so we got it changed to room #45 and got good island view and partial ocean/marina view. room is very modern, clean, and bathroom is also the same with a standup shower, no tub. all the staff were very friendly and helpful. eric at the front desk helped us out a lot. in terms of tipping with the all inclusive; we tipped very sporadically. you will see that on every bill (they give you a bill to sign every time even tho you are all inclusive as there are others that aren't) there's a service charge included already, so we weren't very generous with the tip. the private island is the best part of the resort. there's a boat that comes about every 15 minutes to pick you up from either one of the hotels to go to the private island. on the adults side of the private island, that's where the flamingos are and you can buy bird food on the bridge to the beach to feed them. the mangrove beach bar is there and you can also order food. the island spa is also on the adults only side, we got a massage there but i would definitely recommend paying more so you get to use the spa hut for an extra hour and 40 minutes; you get a really nice view of the ocean with 2 lounge chairs and a hammock inside the hut all to yourself. overall, great experience and i would definitely go back to this resort if i come back to aruba.

We stayed at this resort during our second time staying in Curacao. This resort was located close to all the activities of Willemstad and although it had a small beach it was all you needed to get some sun and swim in the salt water of the ocean or fresh water in the two infinity pools. The food was excellent and the staff were very pleasant and helpful they would go out of their way to help you for what every you needed. The view on the balcony for the ocean view rooms was detracted by a barge that was constructing a pier for the expansion of the cruise port which will be better once the construction is complete. The rooms are clean and well equipped and the wifi was excellent throughout the resort even at the beach.

This is a fabulous hotel with many features. We enjoyed the private Island with the flamingos, the restaurants had a nice variety of food, the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and nice, the location was great-right on the main street. We enjoyed the pool/beach area as well and enjoyed watching the cruise ships come and go.The only complaint was that we had to carry around our card with us and sign for every meal and drink. It was most inconvenient at the pool bars as the service was slower because they had to enter in our room number, swipe the card, then have us sign it. We would have preferred to wear a bracelet indicating that we were all inclusive. Overall we had a fantastic week and enjoyed exploring the Island.

The hotel and service was great, no problems. Food was great, something different every day. The pools and man made sandy beach was something to see. Over all, I have not a thing to say bad about this resort. Jim Wlker

The Renaissance hotel's rooms at bothe side of the resort are renovated and they are clean. The beach and the grounds are very clean and well maintained. Every time that we go there we see changes and improvements. The service at the restaurants and bars It is great. The staff is very genuin helpful any given time. We loved the most the Aquarius and Papagajo restaurants. All the staff are super helpful and serves with a big smile in no time, Lina, Juana @ Aquarius and Vanie and Maria and jenn at Paoagajo. All staff know you and your requests without asking. During your stay you are under the impression that you are visiting a big family. This is one happy island and one of the kind hotel. The management of the resort it is very open minded and knows how to please visitors. I been in so many other places beach or other vacations, caraibein islands, like st Barth, st marten, Anguilla, Phuket, Greece and Italy beaches, but the service in Aruba it is in s different level. I consider myself lucky to be introduced and be able to come and spend my vacations in this wonderful resort that I give 6 stars if the highest rating is five stars. All Inclusive Resort stay After reading some reviews about this Resort I wasn't certain what would await me. Checkin was quick and easy although it was a Sunday. He rooms were ok. If there was anything that would elevate this property it would be to refurbish the room. Even some little details. Example , our soap dish had chips on the side. The bed and pillows were top notch, as were all linens. We loved the private island and access to the boat in our lobby. We also loved being able to use both resorts. The food and drink in the all inclusive were perfect. We basically had access to everything, from delicious buffet breakfast to the Steakhouse ( our favorite) I would definitely recommend the all inclusive. Transportation to and from the airport was provided by Nexis Tours. On our return to the airport we had to take a cab, as the bus was too late. We (8 of us) were reimbursed by cash by a Nexis agent at the airport who apologized and said that an accident caused the pick up bus to be late. We were impressed by the service they gave us.

Excellent hotel for adults looking for an urban/beach holiday. No direct beach access, but the water taxi and private island fill the void well. Pool area was good - but they could change up the unrelenting electronic music. Food and drinks were very good - we did the all-inclusive and it never had that "all inclusive buffet" feel. Staff are lovely and helpful and room was small but clean and best of all - not musty!

The hotel is so very well situated. Right in town, for shopping ( jewelry anyone?) big name designer clothes , souvenir markets. You have so much fun and feel safe there.We did an utv tour - what a blast !!!!! We' re looking forward to going back!

I stayed here with a girlfriend for a week, on the adults-only side. We did venture to the family side for dinner one evening and found it inferior in terms of food quality and service. That being said, we didn't spend any other time on that side. The private island is lovely. We sprung for a cabana one day and definitely recommend! Hotel location is right downtown and convenient for everything but we also did the all inclusive package so did all our eating and drinking on the resort and island. Quite good food at both places! Especially loved our poolside staff, particularly Nelson!

With all the extra fees, this hotel is a poor value. Self-parking is extra at $22/day, extra resort fee, wifi in your room extra at +$15/day. Located walking distance away from SeaWorld, I assumed this was a family oriented hotel, but most clientele (at least in January) were from large business organizations that were holding meetings there as well. The hotel at night was quiet in the hallways and our room which was a positive. The staff also provided great service providing a microwave, crib, and a new fridge for the broken one in our room.

My husband and I went to Curacao for our anniversary from Oct. 27- Nov.4, 2016 and we stayed at the Renaissance Curacao. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such kind and courteous staff. The rooms were great! This is the first time I stayed at a resort that I can say the rooms were exactly like I saw on the internet picture. They were clean and even though we didn't have all inclusive we had water bottles in our room everyday and the little complimentary shampoo and conditioner bottles were always replenished for us. The Renaissance has 3 restaurants and Starbucks which were all very good. They had just about any type of drinks you asked for from soft drinks, beer, wine and liquors. I have to say that I was very pleased with my stay at the Renaissance and I would definitely go back.

I found the staff rude I will never stay there again we go to aruba 3 times a tear for the past 8 years this was the worse if your travel agent recommends this place get a new agent, if your going to aruba stay in palm beach please you will thank me for it later

Nice room, great beach and pool, nice staff and wonderful service. Food was great. Grounds where very clean. Also in walking distance to all kind of events and shopping, Willemstad is a 15 min walk from the hotel.

The hotel was clean, friendly, great location, good food, good pool, friendly staff. When we had a problem they came right away within 10 minutes. It was close to all the shopping you could do, and see the cruise ships coming in.

Renaissance lived up to all my expectations. room a little small put clean and the bed was so comfy. Food was great, service staff was excellent. Loved the pirate island, transportation there and back was a breeze. My only suggestion would be add nightly entertainment to BLUE LOUNGE. Entertainment at Casino Lounge was amazing however should be moved to the Blue lounge. $11 to $15.00US cab fare to high rise district, or $2.50 local transit. Aruba has allot of appealing features. Great Restaurants, great shopping and great entertainment. Wish I was still there.

Stayed at the Renaissance Hotel November 2015 with two other couples and all of us are definately planning a return trip! Wonderful hotel, great people and beautiful island - all made for an excellent vacation. Definitely would recommend.....

Very clean, exceptionally friendly staff, excellent food. Beaches on the island were so/so, would much rather stay on an actual beach. We were on an all inclusive package and found it well worth it. Lots of shopping in the area

This hotel has an amazing private beach, fantastic food, Miami -esque pool and located right on top of some great shopping with casino. The food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and happy. First time visiting Aruba and won't be the last! We were all inclusive. Definitely recommend that option as things are not cheap here.

Great value close to downtown, close to shopping. Airport is 10 min bus ride away. Resort has its own private island short boat ride away. Casino offers $10 free slot play for new members. Nice high end shopping mall on resort.

My husband and I had the best honeymoon. The resort was absolutely stunning, the private island was gorgeous, and the staff and food at every restaurant was simply superb!!! We have already decided we will be coming back again soon!!!

The Renaissance is in the perfect location for us, right in the heart of the city, wide selection of great restaurants all within a short walk. The rental car from Windward Rentals was great, we toured the entire island and took hundreds of pictures both of the traditional touristy type but also of personal interest to us of the local people and surroundings. Although my wife's home is Nassau, we found Aruba to be extremely friendly and welcoming, everyone exercises respectful rules of the road and pedestrians rights of way. We have designated Aruba as our destination vacation spot and especially The Renaissance as our home away from home..

The hotel is situated right downtown. The private island is great. I'm not a fan of the all inclusive process of signing for everything. Don't know why they can't give you a wrist band like any other all inclusive resort does

Excellent bar none this was one of the best resorts we've been to . The staff in this resort were excellent we couldn't of asked for more and if we did they would've probably given it to us . Thank you very much we will return.

Rooms were great. Food was ok but definitely thought there would be more a la carte restaurants to choose from. Did not know this was NOT a private resort, meaning randoms and locals were able to use the facilities and restaurants !!! Price was definitely high for what was received. My husband and I definitely expected A LOT more from this resort for what we paid. We were disappointed but still tried to make the best of it. Staff were great!

The Renaissance Aruba is a great hotel. We stayed on the ocean suites side. The room was perfect for out family of four. My only complaint was the shower and water spraying outside of the shower because of the half glass wall. But put some towels on the floor and it's fine. The rest of the room was very comfortable and up to date. We did the all-inclusive plan and it was perfect for us. Easy when traveling with two small kids. We really enjoyed all the fresh fruit and amazing selection of fresh fish. If you choose not to do the all inclusive plan, there are so many restaurants within walking distance right outside the resort. But if we went back, we would do the all inclusive plan again! The resort was also quite nice. Our family love the private island. The water super clear and clean. Staff work very hard and are very friendly. Overall you enjoyed your stay. We would return and recommend this hotel to others.

Excellent place to stay from the rooms to the food. We could not say enough about our staff. The boat launch was so handy and so nice to ride across to the private beach on the island. The wild life on the island was so exciting and we go t so many photos to send to friends. We loved everything about our stay. We won't stay anywhere in Aruba but here from now on!

We stayed at the Renaissance Aruba marina side from feb 25 - march 4/15. All inclusive - most of the people we spoke with did not stay with all inclusive package - thank god we did - it would have been quite pricey - i.e. $15 for one large beer and one pop. Definitely great all in price. Renaissance island was gorgeous. Hotel was clean, beds - comfy, room was on the smaller side but still ample space. Food was excellent. We did spend all of our days either at the island or pool on the ocean suites side of the resort as the music was more current, swim up bar, larger pools and access to ocean only steps from pool. The pool area was lovely on marina side but for us the music and size of pool area wasnt quite what we wanted. I would definitely recommend this resort (but only if you go on an all inclusive package due to prices for food and drink in Aruba are quite high when paying al a carte). We will definitely be going back to this resort next winter.

Third trip in 2 years and still love it. The Hotel is great, rooms clean, service terrific, we were all inclusive and food is spectacular. The boat ride and the private island are always one of the highlights - passing by the cruise ships in the morning as you head out to the island - priceless! Can't wait for trip number 4!

The place has some unique and surprisingly good features like the man made infinity pool that is filled with ocean water and which has an artificial sandy beach with palm trees. It has a great location due to its proximity to the floating bridge and downtown area. On the negative side, the lobby is filled with cigarette smoke from the Casino. You can even smell the smoke in the hallways close to the elevators on the other floors. You can tell that this place was not designed to be an all inclusive resort because of the very limited number of restaurants and staff. Besides, one can get a sense that the overall policy of the Hotel is to slow the services down and short change the all inclusive guest in different ways. This included long line ups at Starbucks as well as persistently fully booked reservation space at the Cru Steakhouse due to limited capacity. The food and staff at the Cru were excellent but food was below par at Nautilus in both selection and quality and the staff were generally unfriendly. The pool side service is nothing like the all inclusive resorts of Mexico and the Dominican Republic. You are lucky if waiters are in sight and you have to waive hard to get their attention. Once successful, you can wait a long time for drinks and even longer for food. The rooms were clean and well stocked. Surprisingly, the noise in the hallway was usually from the housekeeping staff yelling "housekeeping" or communicating loudly in the early morning. During our stay, there was no hot water for the whole week. Sometimes it was cold and other times lukewarm. There was no letter of apology under the door or any warning! They probably hoped that we will not notice. When we brought the matter up with the front desk they admitted that the "boiler was broken" and that the "parts have been delayed". On our first day, the pool was closed until 1 pm for maintenance. The Nautilus was closed on one of the other days due to " an unfortunate event" which turned out to be due to water backup. Room service was offered instead but we did not take advantage of it because the situation was not very appetizing. In the end, there were many great employees that made up for the shortcomings of the place. You can tell that they are frustrated with the lack of support from their own hotel and that they have become experts at making up excuses on their employers' behalf.

This was our first time staying at the Renaissance and it was definitely worth it ! From the moment we walked it, the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a complete breakdown to any questions we asked and seemed to be enjoying their job. I was surprised to see how big the inside of the hotel was (definitely a resort in itself). Every chance we had, we hung out in the lobby enjoying the free wifi and ice cream from the ice cream parlour located inside the hotel. The water park was a perfect size for our daughter, but the water was a tad cold, nonetheless she enjoyed it! The rooms were well maintained, cleaned and stocked every day. Even on one of the days, the cleaners left a cute little whale for my daughter to play with in the bath tub. Nice gesture ! I don't really have anythjng negative to say. Just a thank you to all the staff for making our stay very memorable !
