Room was clean, service was impeccable. There’s a free shuttle bus to Disney and Universal. Many thanks to Susan Williams for nicely organizing everything at the last minute. She’s a pro! We will call again for sure for our next trip.

Good for price but no warm and fuzzies when your heading back to the hotel for the night. Phone in room did not work - found out the hard way when we had someone try and enter our room at 2 am on our second night. Good thing we had dead bolt on because the key worked!!! Tried to call front desk but learned phone in room didn’t work... had to turn on data and use cell phone ...they let me know everything is fine and the issue had been corrected? Without admitting to it or really apologizing ... it seems they assigned a guest arriving late to our room. Very scary when unfamiliar with the area and in a dark unlit part of the resort. Set the tone for the rest of our stay - spent as little time as possible at hotel.

The hotel is in a good location. Lots of great tourist gift shops, restaurants and attractions around. We found it easiest to take an UBER everywhere as the shuttle times meant we had to be up very early every day during our stay. The hotel staff are nice and friendly. The buffet dinner is a good option for a meal at the hotel. Didnt get to have breakfast but I'm sure it would be good too. The room was nice. I'm not a huge fan of the motel feel (doors on the exterior/outside for each room). The room did smell a bit weird. We had some air freshener on hand that helped. The water pressure was a bit weak for the tub, but not too bad. The microwave in the rooms makes it easy to do groceries and make your own meals to save on costs and eating junk food the whole time during your stay.

Hotel room was clean. The bed was comfy. The AC was a bit noisy but worked well. The pool was clean and very warm. Location is fantastic. Tons of food and close to Disney Springs and all the parks. Service was excellent at check in. Very friendly. Will definitely return for another family vacation. For the price, I can't complain at all.

Quite the experience at Clarion. We arrived there early afternoon and we were told rooms were being cleaned. We checked back several times throughout the afternoon. We had asked for ground floor and close to pool as I had a bad knee. Each time we asked we were told rooms were being cleaned. We watched as several people received rooms. At 5 we were told they did not have a room. After getting a bit firm they gave us a room on the 4the floor the room furthest away from pool and office. They told us to back the next morning and they would change rooms and get us a room as requested. We returned the next morning and were told we had to pack up and move out of the room before they would look for a room for us. We packed up and they told us to come back after lunch. We returned after lunch and they starting looking for a room on ground floor near pool. They finally gave us a room on ground floor the furthest away from pool as possible. Plus they were doing construction on the other side of our room. Staff not very friendly.

“We booked this hotel as a package through Sunwing. We knew from previous reviews that we were getting a basic accommodation. After flying in to Orlando and travelling from the airport to the hotel which was pre-booked and pre-paid, we were told that there were no available rooms. We were sent to a sister property at Pointe Orlando for one night. This was extremely inconvenient as we had plans to go to Tampa early the next day. We had to alter plans or take our luggage with us. The Rosen Inn was identical to the Clarion, just a bit newer or better maintained. We were able to transfer back to the Clarion the next day. For our inconvenience, the hotel offered free buffet breakfasts. We are still waiting to hear from Sunwing rep! Rooms Clean and comfortable. The beds were surprisingly comfortable with 4 pillow choices! The fridge and microwave came in handy. The lighting was poor near the closet. The toilet didn’t flush well and the tub drained very slowly. Despite having rooms facing the freeway, there was only light noise. We never heard anything from our neighbouring rooms. Pool Clean and warm. The lounge chairs had mildew stains. Food Buffet breakfast had a variety of hot and cold foods. The fresh fruit and Mickey Mouse waffles were a favourite. Evening buffet was good for cafeteria style foods. Hot dishes were hot and there were several choices each day. Gift shop There were a variety of souvenirs and snacks. The free shuttle to Disney picked us up at the hotel. All in all, this was a great value hotel close to Disney, shopping and restaurants, within a few minutes of interstate. I would recommend it for a base for exploring Orlando.

We booked a Sunwing package to Orlando through Trip Central. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told they were overbooked and we’d be moved to their sister hotel, Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando ! Not a huge deal, except we had plans to leave our hotel early for a day trip in Tampa and switching hotels provided a big challenge! Why offer a package if the hotel is not available to those who booked well in advance for all nights of their package! That being said, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The only issue we had with our room was our toilet and tub were both slow to drain- we dealt with it, just something that could be improved. We took advantage of the pool- lots of pool towels and chairs/loungers available. Breakfast buffet was amazing! Full size and mini Mickey Mouse waffles, fresh fruit and a large variety of breakfast foods! Great way to start the day!

Good no frills hotel for our purpose; a place to sleep after full days at the Disney Parks. Free shuttles to Disney and other theme parks. Ask for a room overlooking the parking lot as they are much quieter than those at the front.

This hotel is wonderful. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast buffet was delicious. The one thing that needs to improve is the shuttle service. Shuttles are run down and there needs to be more times for pickups at the hotel and at Disney. But other than that we had a fantastic time and will return in the future.

This hotel was in an ideal spot. It was close to Disney. It had a variety of stores, souvenir shops, restaurants all within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and provided us with assistance and were very accommodating. We arrived early and were able to obtain our room so that we could venture out. The room was what was expected, clean and efficient. The WIFI worked great in the lobby areas however being on the 5th floor we had some issues with it going in and out. For the most part we were happy with the hotel's cleanliness - staff were there daily with fresh towels as needed. We would definitely stay again.

Hotel was clean and nice enough as a budget hotel. Pools were on the highway side so you need your music to block out the traffic noise. Staff were very friendly and the maids were exceptional. The area is full of bars and restaurants within walking distance which was perfect for us.

clean, comfortable, not allot of people there during the day, so the pool area is very quiet, no frills, pleasant staff, get a room away from the highway side. lots of parking, and center of everything, walk able to shop and restaurants etc.

Overall, the hotel was very clean, but there were little bugs crawling around the washroom area and desk near the room entrance. My sister who was staying in the room next door did not have this problem.

Great hotel, clean and nice staff members. Did not get a chance to use the pools because it was quite cold. The only downside is the wifi is really slow. Always have problem connecting and loads sites very slowly.

Very clean simple hotel, with a good service. Rooms are very simple, nothing special. Didn't try their restaurant, so I can't really give any feedback about that. Area around the hotel very clean. Good location

My boyfriend, two friends and I stayed at the Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista from January 2nd to 6th. It was a nice stay. The pool was nice, the hotel was not too crowded and we liked having the free shuttle back and forth to universal studios. Rooms were clean, and maids and staff were very friendly. Things to note are the thin floors? Every time anyone was running across the balcony (which happened very often at 11PM at night), it was very noisy. The water pressure in the shower wasn't awesome, but it made do for the few days we were there. We were lucky enough to stay in building 2000 that was facing the parking lot, as I noticed that in other reviews, rooms that faced the pool/highway was quite noisy. Overall, would stay again.

Convenient location near Disney World. We loved the fact that we had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in our room! Free parking was appreciated! The bed was a bit too hard for our liking. Would stay here again.

NICE GARDENS AND PATIOS EVERYTHING WAS VERY CLEAN AND ALL PEOPLE HELPFUL AND THE SHUTTLES WERE VERY GOOD, ON TIME AND AS PROMISED. NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL IF GOING TO DISNEYWORLD THE LOCATION IS VERY CLOSE

restaurant is cheap and the food is fresh, room is clean and kids like the swimming pool, the location is excellent, many different restaurants are nearby and free shuttle bus to different park and attractions.

The front staft some of them not friendly , room right at front of main highway lots of noise . They had 2 pools 1 of them closed , 1 pool for all the adults and children When you come in the loby you are presured to listen to salesperson they try to sell you thickets for parks and atraction ,and deals to go to seminars 3hours of your time for them to speak to sell their rooms I was not impressed after a long jurney that most people are tired they whant to go to their room and have a quiet time but not for us because the noise of the main highway cars trucks motorcycle .

It was a great experience and memories. We loved it there it was a good place to lay your head rooms clean food is good hopefully both pools will be opened soon lots of renos going on more shuttles to universal would be beneficial

The grounds were well attended and the rooms where very clean. My husband and I went to get away from our snow in Canada, so it made for a nice relaxing stay. I loved the security of the resort. Nice restaurants if you want to go out for dinner or the rooms having a microwave and fridge, coffee maker and coffee you could just relax in your room. Check is was very smooth and friendly. We would definitely return to this resort. I would just like to have been able to get a room that didn't face the highway due to the noise.

We got an awesome deal that included 5 nights stay at Clarion. Our room was simple, but clean and suited us just fine. It had a mini fridge perfect for milk, water, yogurt etc. that helped us cut down on food expenses by having breakfast in our room. (There was a Walmart a few miles away that had everything we needed). Truthfully the purpose of our trip was to visit the theme parks and we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. From what I saw, had we not spent a lot of time at Disney/Universal it didn't seem that we would've had a lot to do there although the small pool near our room looked nice. Speaking of disney/universal the hotel offered free shuttles. The schedule was fairly convenient but was often very full with standing room only. The hotel does not offer secondary trips if the bus is full so have a backup plan in case. Overall I found my stay just fine. We really only needed our room to sleep/shower/relax after the parks. I would likely stay again if the price was cheap enough. My only real complaint is this: our reservations said check in was at 3 pm but the hotel maintains their check in is at 4. The front desk staff seemed annoyed and uncaring that I pointed this out and wanted my room at 3. I did get in by shortly after 3:30.

We have stayed at this hotel five times now! Super location very close to Downtown Disney and extremely comfortable beds keep us returning. You just can't beat the price either! We always request a top floor room and it has been very clean and quiet. Great place for families but it suits a retired couple like us too!
