Very nice Hotel in excellent location, very good transportation hub. Spectacular roof lounge with 360 degree view. Buffet breakfast well worth it, good selection and attentive staff. Room very clean, good size, and modern. Main lobby area, very welcoming, and staff very helpful. Easy drop off and pick up location Nice restaurants, Saturday closed street market, and best of all, very close to Waterloo Train Station that has variety of stores including a pharmacy, take away food store (Marks and Spencer foods), and ticket office to help get you around either via train, tube, or bus.

Our time staying at Citadines while visiting London was excellent. The location was great for everything we had planned for our visit. Access to transportation was quick making the airport journey easy. Citadines' staff were welcoming, ready to assist with any of our queries, and friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean, amenities were excellent, and it was great to relax in after a day out and about.

This hotel was undergoing renovations when we stayed there so from 8am to 5pm weekdays there was constant construction noise. Weekends were very quiet so when the renovations are complete it will be a very quiet hotel. Upon check-in, I realized that the beds were like a rock so went to the front desk to upgrade the room to one with better beds. I paid for that and then found out that the beds were the same. I ended up going to a department store and buying a foam topper to put on top of the beds to make them bearable, but that only worked partially. If you like rock hard mattresses, this is the hotel for you. Unfortunately I have an injury from my service in the military and have to have softer beds. This is not available at this hotel at any price. The phone wasn't working upon check in but was fixed in a timely manner though. As for the hotel, it was nice. It has no AC like most hotels in London, but since it was fall, opening the window worked for sleeping. The staff were great and had good relations with them. The breakfast buffet was very good. My wife is a Celiac (not by choice) and there were plenty of options for her to have every morning. The hot food was excellent and unlimited. Great way to start your day. The lobby is almost always busy because it is a big hotel but there is no where to sit for any elderly or disabled people. If you need to sit down during check in or while waiting for a shuttle when you leave, you are out of luck. There are many things to see nearby and several great places to eat on the street level of the hotel, so plenty of selection there. The Russel Square line underground station is only 150 meters away and is the best way to get around London. If you have no problem sleeping in a rock hard bed, then I would recommend this hotel provided you wait until the renovations are complete.

The staff at this hotel was amazing, especially Eliana. She was awesome. The location of the hotel and the food in the restaurant were great. The only thing I was not happy with was that my room was in the basement. I was travelling solo and I guess the smaller rooms are situated there. I didn't raise the issue with the hotel, so I don't know if I would have been able to change the room. Otherwise I have no complaints.

Just spent 2 weeks at the Tavistock. Good points include: breakfast has a good variety of choices including eggs, bacon, ham, sausages, cereals, hot oatmeal, croissants, beans, & potatoes. Excellent location with easy access to buses & underground. Staff is great, pleasant & accommodating. Lots of hot water. Not so good: on their website it states they have: a swimming pool, sauna, bowling, exercise gym, jacuzzi. All of these are available nearby but not on site of the hotel. Very misleading & false advertising. They also state that there are safes in the rooms which is not true. You can use a safe at the lobby desk for an extra charge. Beds & pillows are very hard. No air conditioning & if you have a room on the street side it can be noisy at night with your window open.

Great location. Easy to get to from Gatwick. Tours meet and end very close by. Nice lobby. Concierge was not very helpful. Rooms were adequate, fast service if there was a problem. Very tiny bathrooms. No drawer space to unpack. Very poor lighting and not enough electrical outlets.

This hotel is perfectly situated near the underground and bus routes. A stones throw to Hyde Park, it offers a quiet area despite being in the city. The hotel was clean, but you can tell minor renovations are taking place (replacing door jams and baseboards). Staff is friendly and the option to check your luggage before you check in was great! The shower was fantastic, bed was comfy, heating and fan worked well. Only downside was someone in the room next to mine was snoring and it was audible through the walls. *did not eat at hotel but restaurants around are fabulous

The hotel was amazing; great location. We either walked to Westminster Bridge or took a taxi over the Thames. Not as bustling as Trafalgar Square so nice to come back to after a day or touring. The room was clean and spacious. We had a comfy bed and coffee maker. The staff were pleasent and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and included with our package. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting London.

The hotel was conveniently located 20 minutes from Heathrow by taxi. It is a 2 minute walk to the tube station and a 15 minutes ride to Westminster. The room was a little on the small side but was fine as you are only there to sleep. Air conditioner did not work well, it never got cool. Thankfully the windows open to get fresh cool air. Breakfast was good- lots of variety. Take the tube to Wimbledon- the town it is lovel.

It was a excellent place near and very clean.close to buses ,and walking to the Westminster bridge ,and station,and restaurants,,beautiful view from the room .i recommend to my friends ,and the people at the front desk wore very friendly and helpful,,

Hotel was located close to Covent garden and walking distance to Trafalgar Square and other attractions. Door man was friendly. Room was clean. No a/c. Quiet King size bed was great. Hotel lobby needs an update.

This hotel was a pleasant stay for our 6 day trip. Our room was quite small but it was a modern looking room with big windows, a safe, nice washroom. We had our breakfast included with our package and was very impressed with the selection and the quality of food. Internet worked well which was nice to watch movies on my phone. The front desk was always helpful and arranged the taxis for us for a couple very early morning tours we did. Easy check out and great location to get to the Waterloo station. Lots of restaurants in the area as well. The only negative things I could say is the hotel is quite small in general, not a lot to do if you just want to hang out, TV stations had nothing to watch so internet was the only real option for entertainment. Also they fill the room fridge with drinks and snacks which we asked that they be removed so we could fill with our own food/drink purchases. They did not come and we just didn't request a second time.

Good value and location,very nice buffet breakfast,no problems. Some people might find the rooms are a bit small,was fine for us though. Had dinner in Pub one night, was very nice too. Our second stay in two years ,will probably stay again if we come to London again.

Check-in was quick, efficient. Belated wishes for spouse's recent birthday was nice added touch! Room was clean, adequate for our stay. Toiletries are not provided - hand soap, shampoo, lotion, facecloths! Perhaps clients could be advised so they can come prepared. Staff was very friendly and accommodating; allowed us to keep room until 1:30 day of departure (check out is noon) due to evening flight at no charge. Breakfast Buffet offers wonderful variety- eggs, sausages, ham, bacon, croissants, toast, fresh fruit, cereals hot and cold, muffins, bagels, toast .....incredible choice. Mattress was VERY comfortable on king bed! We had top floor which was quiet. Found champagne and Dairy Box chocolates in room, along with birthday card signed by ALL hotel staff individually! Lots of HOT water and DEEP, LONG TUB. While a bit dated, we really enjoyed our stay and we will stay there again! Location is steps (3 minutes) away from Earlscourt underground rail station.....perfect!

Hotel was in a great location, but rooms very tired in need of updating. Breakfast included was terrible. Staff at front desk were great, had some difficulty with concerige helping out, but did have a couple gentlemen who were very helpful. Hotel also had a lot of students. We did enjoy our stay.

This is a very basic hotel that caters to bus tours mostly young people. Rooms very poor and run down without without air conditioning. Hardly any amenities, not even a hair dryer. The bathroom/shower areas were the best part of a low star hotel, beds uncomfortable and linens/ decorations need to be replaced. Not even pictures on the walls. We could hear everything from neighbouring rooms, very noisey. Restaurant continental breakfast terrible and very busy. Huge hotel with tons of young people everywhere. Noisey street on each side of hotel. Staff tried to be helpful but very busy and noisey lobby that could not even hear them. 1 star hotel, needs some work done!! To upgrade everything. Restaurants nearby by good but not open early enough. Weather was 80-90 degrees and no air conditioning or fans, terrible! Only good thing was hotel is close to tube and good area to get around from and meet tours from

A block away from the "tube" (subway) exit on the street so you can't go wrong. Tons of restaurants near by, museums too. Seriously fabulous location. The hotel itself was undergoing some renovations at the time we visited but the noise didn't interfere with sleep or anything and it was very clean and tidy. The staff were great too and the free breakfast was a perk. If we ever return to England we will be looking to stay here again.

Stayed in October 2016,affordable,not very close to any tourist sights but close to the underground and overground.easy connection to Gatwick by train.room a bit on the small side. staff friendly,place was clean and quiet.breakfast buffet was very nice.would stay again.

The hot breakfast was a very nice start to our day. The soaker tub was a welcome ending to our busy London days. Having the peaceful back garden was perfect for a day or evening spot to relax. We would recommend the Bedford as great spot for those wanting to see the sights of London. Having the British Museum just a few blocks over was a bonus!

The Bedford Hotel is an older but comfortable hotel. It has smaller rooms, by North American standards, but provided ample space for us. The beds were comfortable; the windows opened; the water was always hot for showering, and there were lots of towels. The best feature of this hotel, however, is its location. It is situated in what I consider to be the perfect area for visitingLondon - close walking distance to theatres, the British Museum, restaurants, several tube stations, and shopping, including a supermarket and pharmacy. Really, we were able to walk all over London from this location. The restaurant in this hotel serves an excellent buffet breakfast, and the wait staff are quick to serve your coffee and tea. While I ate there only one evening, I can report that the dinner l had was also A1. I would definitely return to stay at the Bedford Hotel again and I highly recommend it.

I was very pleased with this hotel (Value for $) The location was just what I wanted/asked for (as a tourist). The room was small and clean. (As a single person, I do not need/want a double bed with 4 pillows...) The dining area was very nice, and all the staff were great. If ever go back to London, this will be my first choice.

When our travel agent suggested this hotel we were told that our room would be small and we would have a trundle bed. Much to our surprise we had a room with queen size bed in a room that was very comfortable. The room had a well equipped kitchen. The hotel was very centrally located to many of the sights such as the theater district, Buckinham Palace, high end shopping district and the London Eye. All these sights were in walking distance of the hotel. The staff of this hotel were very helpful and focused on our needs. One staff member in particular; Libanio went far and beyond expectations To ensure our stay was very enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel highly to anyone visiting London.

We would of given the hotel 5 stars except the A/C couldn't keep the room cool enough for my liking and on our last day before we checked out the shower had no hot water (probably from everyone else getting ready to leave). The rooms were a little small, but that is to be expected in Europe and we didn't both with the upgrade our room. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The hot breakfast buffet was excellent. When we had to leave early for a tour, we let the front desk know and they had a to go breakfast box set up for us early that morning. The morning staff would also fill our water bottles up with ice before we departed for the day. Hotel was located close to three subway stations which made getting around the city very easy.

We stayed in this hotel from 2 August to 9 August 2016. We found the location to be excellent! We could walk easily to the south bank of the Thames including the London Eye and we could walk to the major attractions on the north bank - Westminster, St. James Park, Buckingham Palace, etc. Waterloo Tube station was ten minutes away. Also, there were ample restaurants and bars around for quick meals. There were also mini-marts if one was looking for a sandwich or picnic fixings. Our room was a triple - hard to find anywhere. It was spacious and easily accommodated three people. It was, unfortunately, set up as an accessible room, so the bathroom vanity was very low for able bodied users. The breakfast provided was super. There was good variety of food which was always in ample supply. Our first day involved a rather uncomfortable line in the elevator hallway which was not prepared to deal with a lot of people. Thankfully, this did not happen again in our stay. Staff at the main desk were always well intended although we were not always sure that they fully understood our requests/needs. This is a lovely, well-located, well-appointed hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Our trip was great. The travel arrangements were complete and very easy to follow. The hotel was clean and very nice. Also it was near a subway station which was great. The excursions we went on were all we had hoped for., and the hop on hop off ticket gave us a chance to see where we . might want to go and see.it was a great trip. It was a pleasure to deal with our travel agent, he was great. Thank you Jack, we will call you when we plan our next trip

Near downtown London,access to train and bus,clean ground,tidy room,friendly staff,safe and well maintained,a free all you can eat breakfast buffet,beautiful view of downtown London from our 10'th floor room and honest lady room cleaner.

Room did not have a hair dryer, wash clothes, hand towels or a clock. We requested a wake up call on the day we were to return and never received it. We received a call when our ride arrived. The hotel is old and somewhat rundown

the hotel is lovely and the staff is wonderful! apparently there are several Ibis hotels in the area and calling it "Earl's Court" is a little misleading; it's closer to the West Brompton tube station than to the Earl's Court station; fortunately, the news vendor knew the hotel and gave me correct directions; this particular Ibis is extremely handy for visiting Hampton Court Palace - West Brompton to the end and transfer to the train instead of having to go to Waterloo railway station

Great centrally located hotel. Can see Big Ben and Westminster from front lobby. Easy walk to anywhere along the Thames River, anytime of day or night. Helpful staff and beautiful décor. Definitely would recommend.

We stayed for a week at the beginning of August 2015. We were greeted by a friendly team and even though our room was not quite ready, they held our luggage so we could start exploring! Our room was very clean the entire stay. I do have to say the best thing about our stay was the hot breakfast buffet. The food was fresh and delicious every day. When I return to visit London, I will definately book the Ibis Earls Court!

The rooms were poorly decorated overall and the hotel is actually smaller than it appears in it's website photo due to the fact that is only has part of the building. Front staff was sometimes helpful sometimes not.

A very well located hotel providing less than it is able to in services. The breakfast was uninspired, could not try any other meal in case it turned out the same. Would not be my first recommendation for anyone going but would not discourage either. The rooms are clean, the grounds are nice and for a central location, relatively quiet. If you do not need a fridge, safe, uninterrupted internet, and don't mind an old style key to get into your room then you will do well here. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 6 at best.

A very busy place lots of noise. Dinning was very good with limited selection. Good location within walking distance to most locations. The hotel staff could have been a little more friendlier, maybe a smile or two would have been nice.

Hotel was elegant,classic London. Love the British icon wallpaper over the bed.Love the little kitchen, just the right size.The large size windows in the room with the tree outside cast a beautiful light clearing and made me feel very comfortable, friendly and made me feel very comfortable.

For the price, I doubt there is a better place in London. Great bang for the buck! Would definitely stay there again.close to the tube stn and the all you can eat breakfasts were a great way to start the day.

Friendly family owned hotel. Rooms are small but adequate. The restaurant provides a good breakfast buffet to start your day. Location is minutes from subway and a short walk to major sightseeing - Hyde Park, Museum's, shopping and other eating places . Nice but longer walk to Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the Thames. Close to Victoria Station for express train to Gatwick Airport.

Nice rooms, good house keeping, very friendly and helpful staff, plentiful and hearty english breakfast. Good location, quiet. Very close to Waterloo station and access to the London metro system. Lots of close attractions in walking distance.

This hotel is located in Kensington with a subway, grocery store, pharmacy, post office and numerous restaurants within a short walking distance. The staff were very, very nice. The Light of India restaurant was amazing! The Indian food was the best I've had and the continental breakfast was fine, mostly cereals and toast, but plenty of it. The room was big, and the bathroom was huge with a wonderful soaker tub which we needed after walking miles and miles each day. We were in room 212. The room was very quiet and clean. My only complaint was that the mattress was a bit lumpy.

After several stays on Oxford Street, I was originally resistant to diverge off to stay anywhere but downtown London. My experience at the Ibis at Earl's Court, has changed that view. This hotel provides a perfect location for the ultimate London experience. While being ideally located to walk to any of the major London attractions, the Ibis is ideally nestled in a lovely neighbourhood that provides the perfect balance of quiet and charm after a hectic day in the hub of the big city. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the food, both in the restaurant, and in the pub is very good. The upbeat atmosphere in the indoor pub provides for a wonderful way to end an English day - where one can indulge in a big screen soccer match, and an nice cold pint. I would highly recommend this hotel. It provides a wonderfully relaxing refuge and a great way in which to experience the beauty and charm that should be an integral part of any London holiday.
