About Egypt Tours

Envision exploring the vast desert of Egypt, historically rooted in the times of Cleopatra and Egyptian mythology. Walk the grounds that ancient Pharaohs have walked and visit the preserved temples to gain an understanding of the vivid richness that characterizes this country on an Egypt River Cruise.

There is so much to see in Cairo, Egypt’s capital - from the Great Pyramids of Giza and the 496-foot high Cheops (Giza’s largest pyramid), to the mosque of Mohammed Ali, a 9th century synagogue, and the church where the Virgin Mary and Jesus stayed.  You may also take an optional Nile River dinner cruise.

Marvel at the 40-foot statue of Ramses ll in Memphis, the ancient Egyptian capital. In Sakkara, take in the majesty of the Stairway to the Sky, the oldest pyramid. Alexandria, the city founded by Alexander the Great, is home to the National Museum, catacombs, and the Pharaoh’s lighthouse. The famous Avenue of the Sphinxes from 380 BC can be found in Luxor. This 2.7 kilometre avenue connects the Luxor and Karnak temples and holds religious significance.  The much older Valley of Kings (from 1539 BC-1075 BC) can also be found in Luxor. This archeological site is the royal burial ground of kings.  You may also have the opportunity to view the sound and light show on the Luxor Pyramids.

Egypt River Cruises are available in durations of 8-14 days and each arrive and depart in Cairo. Discover the majesty of Egypt through guided tours by an educated Egyptologist. Travel by motorboat or air to scheduled excursions, dance to Nubian music, and take part in a fun Galabya Party (get your costumes ready!).  Book your Egypt River Cruise by visiting our website or speak with a travel agent who has been there!
