  • Day 2 MONTRÉAL   Culinary Influences Explore during a sightseeing tour with a Local Guide including the incredible Basilique Notre-Dame. Enjoy lunch at a [LF] traditional deli. Discover the beautiful holiday displays and festive markets this afternoon. Join your Tour Director to visit Jean-Talon Market, Grand Marché de Noël de (Great Christmas Market), and Christmas Village. (B,L)

    Dine at a family-owned deli for a deliciously classic lunch and indulge in the favorite traditions of smoked meat (cured and smoked beef brisket) sandwiches--popular here since Eastern European immigrants brought their unique curing techniques to in the late 1800s. Explore the cultural capital of Canada where the traditional Québécois style is celebrated along its cobblestone streets and grand buildings in European flair.

  • Day 3 MONTRÉAL-QUÉBEC CITY   French Toasts Depart Montréal for charming Québec City for a 3-night stay in the legendary landmark, Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. Discover one of the most historic and best-preserved cities in North America. The afternoon is free to explore the holiday markets or stroll the streets of Old Québec City. (B)

    Experience castle life at the iconic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. For more than a century, this grand landmark has welcomed distinguished guests, hosted historic political meetings, and offered spectacular views overlooking the St. Lawrence River.

  • Day 4 QUÉBEC CITY   How Sweet it is! Discover Canada's only walled city with a Local Guide on a sightseeing tour. Until the British victory of 1759, Old Québec was the center of New France. Within its walls are Place d'Armes, Laval Seminary, and ancient Place Royale. Also, ride the funicular to Lower Town, where old-world houses line narrow streets along the St. Lawrence River, and see the historic Plains of Abraham.

    Visit a locally owned [LF] Sugar Shack for a traditional sugar shack lunch including live musical entertainment. Explore the unique copper creations at the Albert Gilles Copper Art Studio and Museum. Continue to the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre Shrine to see one of his greatest works of art, the hand-made copper main doors of the Basilica. Move on to Montmorency Falls Park for stunning views of a natural waterfall, the tallest in Québec and 30 m taller than Niagara Falls (weather permitting). The afternoon is free to explore the holiday markets for Christmas cheer and European-style outdoor market shopping. (B,L)

  • Day 5 QUÉBEC CITY   Christmas Carols Join your Tour Director and discover unique treasures and German-inspired cuisine at The Marché de Noël Allemand de Québec (German Christmas Market). Browse festive wooden kiosks, enjoy live musical entertainment, and soak up the holiday atmosphere. Enjoy free time this afternoon before a farewell dinner at our hotel, Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, the perfect ending to your vacation! (B,D)
