This picturesque fishing Village is surrounded by bear granite and coastal barrens with trails leading to its famous lighthouse. • Day 4 Western Shore/Mahone Bay   Visit the beautiful little town of Mahone Bay and stroll along the streets of historic Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If the Bluenose II is in harbour you may have the opportunity to go onboard. The Museum of Atlantic is worth a visit or perhaps embark on a walking city tour. Overnight in Western Shore/Mahone Bay
  • Day 5 Western Shore To Kejimkujik National Park / Digby County/Smiths Cove   Start the day with a scenic, cross-country drive linking the rocky south shore with the lush Annapolis Valley. Relish the amazing views you we traverse extensive woodlands dotted with lakes. You may decide to take some time to explore the wilderness of Kejimkujik National Park along the centuries old Mi'kmaq canoe routes, or follow their hiking trails into its forested heartland. Continue to Annapolis Royal once known as Port Royal and visit Fort Anne or one of the many small galleries or shops. Overnight in Digby County/Smith Cove.
  • Day 6 Digby County/Smith's Cove To Saint John   Enjoy a ferry ride across the Bay of Fundy to Saint John, Arriving in Saint John, check into your hotel and take the day to explore the downtown area. A vibrant, visitor-friendly culture reverberates around this small town. Restaurant patios offer beautiful views and fresh ocean breezes to spend the day relaxing. Overnight in Saint John
  • Day 7 Saint John   A second day at leisure in St. John to perhaps visit one of the many small museums and galleries in town or take a trip to the famous Reversing Falls - a trick of the tide that seems to reverse the water's current. • Day 9 Moncton To Charlottetown   We recommend taking the route towards Shediac today. This small village is best known as the Lobster capital of the world! Continue along the Northumberland coast of New Brunswick, a region that celebrates a rich British and Acadian history. Near the base of the Confederation Bridge is the Cape Jourimain Nature Centre, a community-operated ecotourism and environmental education facility open to the public, displaying the cultural history and environmental diversity of the region. Cross to Prince Edward Island, Canada's smallest province, over the 13 km Confederation Bridge and arrive in the charming city of Charlottetown. Overnight in Charlottetown.
  • Day 10 Charlottetown To Baddeck   Today's journey takes you past Orwell Corner Historic Site to board the ferry across the Northumberland Strait to Nova Scotia. Drive through tranquil scenery and small communities that continue to encompass Nova Scotia's' Scottish, Indian and Acadian identities. Arrive at the narrows of the ocean and eastern reaches of the Northumberland Strait at the doorstep of the island of Cape Breton near the tip of St Georges Bay. Continue on through gentle rolling fields of the bay area as it transitions into the beautiful Bras d'Or Lake lowlands. Arrive in Baddeck, often known as the gateway to Cape Breton Highlands. Overnight in Baddeck.
  • Day 11 Baddeck   A highlight of this area is the Cabot Trail, leading into the highlands of northern Cape Breton. The trail runs past lochs and glens settled by Scottish Highlanders and along scenic coastlines settled by Acadians. Meander through the rugged Cape Breton Highlands National Park, enjoying stunning views of sea-swept headlands, steep cliffs and tranquil beaches. Hiking trails lead into the interior of the park where stunning vistas appear at each turn. Return to Baddeck through the lush Margaree Valley. Overnight in Baddeck.
  • Day 12 Baddeck To Halifax   Travel southwards again down the coast towards Halifax. We recommend the scenic route along the "Marine Drive". Stop at Sherbrooke Village, a living museum where costumed interpreters bring history to life. Overnight in Halifax.
