- Day 1 Arrival In Calgary (Tuesday) Arrive at Calgary International Airport. Individual transfer to your centrally located hotel. After a check-in the remainder of the day is free. The tour director will contact you in the late afternoon to give details on joining the tour. Explore the Old West at the Glenbow Museum or Fort Calgary on your own, browse through the Eau Claire Market, ride up the Calgary Tower for a great view and savour the great restaurants and dynamic nightlife. - Day 2 Calgary To Banff National Park (Wednesday) We begin the day with a city tour of Calgary. Leaving the city, we travel west on the Trans-Canada Highway into the rolling foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The majestic peaks of the Canadian Rockies soon fill the horizon as we approach Banff National Park, our first of several in the Canadian national parks system. We soon arrive in the charming resort town of Banff. Overnight in Banff. Breakfast included.
- Day 3 Banff National Park (Thursday) Today we will enjoy a tour of the region around Banff. The area became Canada's first national park in 1885 to protect its natural hot springs. An optional Helicopter Sightseeing Tour will give you the chance to see the eastern ranges of the Rocky Mountains. Alternatively, you can take an optional gondola ride to spectacular Sulphur Mountain. Bring your camera! The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the surroundings of Banff, stroll along Banff Avenue, or relax and enjoy the scenery. Overnight in Banff. Breakfast included.
- Day 4 Banff National Park To Jasper National Park (Friday) Today's journey through Banff and Jasper national parks promises to be a highlight of your tour. Shortly after leaving Banff we visit the famous scenery of Lake Louise, one of the most photographed lakes in Canada. Afterwards, we travel north on the famed Icefields Parkway through a rugged wilderness flanked by dramatic mountain ranges. At the Columbia Icefield we board a specially constructed Ice Explorer to ride on the surface of the ancient Athabasca Glacier. Two optional activities are also available - marvel at a kaleidoscope of projected stars in the Jasper Planetarium or enjoy a production of 'From Jasper with Love' presenting a fun and lighthearted look at the highlights of this iconic town. - Day 5 Jasper (Saturday) Today is a day of adventure! Close to Jasper, you have the chance to go on an optional raft trip on the Athabasca River, your experienced guide revealing the natural and human history as you raft through short rapids and stretches of calm waters. Alternately, you may choose to go on an optional cruise around the still, crystalline waters of Maligne Lake. For a casual, relaxed pace experience you may indulge an optional foodie tour of Jasper, discovering a rich blend of local and international flavours. Overnight in Jasper. Breakfast included.
- Day 6 Rocky Mountaineer - Jasper To Kamloops (Sunday) Board the Rocky Mountaineer and enjoy a delicious breakfast as your day long journey through and over the Rockies into British Columbia begins. From the large, sightseeing windows, marvel at the ancient forests and sheer cliff faces, surrounded by azure lakes and primeval valleys below. Arrive in Kamloops late in the afternoon. Overnight in Kamloops. Breakfast and lunch on-board included.
- Day 7 Rocky Mountaineer - Kamloops To Vancouver (Monday) Boarding your train again in the morning, continue on to Vancouver, traversing the lush valleys that produce some of the countries most bountiful fruit farms and wineries. Arrive in Vancouver where you disembark and are transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Vancouver. Breakfast and lunch on board included.
- Day 8 Vancouver (Tuesday) After breakfast, set out on our morning sightseeing tour of Vancouver. Highlights include Stanley Park, English Bay, Gastown, Chinatown, Capilano Suspension Bridge and much more. The afternoon is free for independent exploration or relaxation. Overnight in Vancouver.
