  • Day 1 Overnight Flight   Enjoy a true taste of the Iberian Peninsula. Your tour begins with an overnight flight.
  • Day 2 Malaga, Spain   Welcome to Malaga, an Andalusian city renowned for its easygoing lifestyle, historic charm, and breathtaking Mediterranean scenery. As travelers’ arrival times will vary, there is no scheduled sightseeing today. Spend the day as you wish, exploring the city independently. This evening, join your fellow travelers for a welcome reception.
  • Day 3 Malaga   Immerse yourself in the heart of Málaga, exploring its art, traditions, and daily life with the guidance of a passionate local expert. Start your journey at the Picasso Museum, where the legacy of Málaga’s most iconic figure reveals the city’s creative spirit and rich cultural heritage. Wander through the historic city center and bustling market stalls, savoring the local flavors, stories, and customs that bring the city to life. The experience reaches new depths when you meet a member of the Sepulcro Brotherhood to learn about the role these religious traditions play in local culture.
  • Day 4 Malaga - Frigiliana - Malaga   Journey to Andalusia’s enchanting white villages, starting with Frigiliana, often hailed as one of the region’s most beautiful gems. Stroll through its narrow cobblestone streets, lined with whitewashed houses and steeped in history. Upon returning to Malaga, enjoy a heartfelt farewell with an intimate, home-hosted gathering in the homes of local residents — a warm and unforgettable way to bid the city goodbye.
  • Day 5 Malaga - Setenil de las Bodegas - Cordoba   Travel to Setenil de las Bodegas, a remarkable town famous for its houses built directly into dramatic rock formations. Like many of Andalusia’s white villages, Setenil reflects a rich Moorish heritage rooted in the Arab presence that once shaped the region. Enjoy free time to explore its unique streets and cliffside dwellings at your own pace before continuing to Cordoba and concluding your day with a leisurely stroll through its enchanting streets.
  • Day 6 Cordoba   Begin your day immersing yourself in the culture of Cordoba when you admire the rows of patios* filled with colorful flowers and plants. The tradition of decorating patios dates back to when Cordoba was under Muslim rule. Houses were built with inner courtyards to provide a cool, private space for families. Later, tour the magnificent Mezquita (UNESCO). Originally built as a mosque, it was converted into the city’s cathedral when the Christians conquered the region in 1236. Conclude your day with a visit to a charming family-run winery, where a hands-on culinary experience awaits. Discover the art of preparing traditional local dishes while soaking in the serene beauty and laid-back ambiance of the late afternoon — a delightful fusion of flavor, culture, and setting.
  • Day 7 Cordoba - Seville   Your taste of the local culture continues today. Head to an award-winning olive grove and learn about this family-owned business. Try their unique olive oil before arriving in Seville, Spain’s “cultural capital.” Upon arrival, get acquainted with the city before setting out on a leisurely walk to the Mirador Setas viewpoint, where you’ll take in sweeping panoramic views of Seville at sunset.
  • Day 8 Seville   Today in Seville, choose how you want to start your morning, because it’s your choice! Begin the day either alongside a local expert on a walking tour of the quaint Santa Cruz quarter, where cascading bright flowers, whitewashed buildings, and winding streets reflect the city’s rich history -OR- learn the secret of ceramics in a dynamic hands-on workshop. Afterwards, come together to explore the magnificent Seville Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. Admire its ornate architecture and see the tomb of Christopher Columbus. Later this afternoon, during an Impact Moment, participate in a flamenco lesson at Fundación Cristina Heeren de Arte Flamenco, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the art of flamenco in Spain and internationally. After your lesson, enjoy a traditional flamenco performance.
  • Day 9 Seville - Estremoz, Portugal - Lisbon   Say adios to Spain and travel to Estremoz, a historic town whose marble can be found in Portuguese monuments throughout the country. After savoring a lunch brimming with local flavors, set off toward Lisbon, nestled along the serene banks of the Tagus River. This charming, coastal city will be your welcoming home in Portugal. Enjoy an evening at leisure to do as you please.
  • Day 10 Lisbon   Olá Lisboa! Get ready to discover Europe’s second-oldest capital through one of its greatest pleasures: food. Today, explore Lisbon on a guided walking food tour through the historic neighborhoods of Chiado and downtown (Baixa). As you wander through lively squares, elegant streets, and traditional cafés, you’ll sample a variety of local flavors while learning about Lisbon’s culinary traditions and everyday life. Expect a mix of classic tastings, neighborhood stories, and stops at beloved local eateries. Return to your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring independently. This evening, you may choose to join an optional experience to see local artists perform traditional fado music (UNESCO).
  • Day 11 Lisbon - Sintra - Portuguese Riviera - Lisbon   Head to the town of Sintra (UNESCO), a favorite summer residence of Portuguese kings for six centuries.
