Free time allows you to explore the historic downtown, browse unique shops around Market Square, or visit award-winning Kingsbrae Garden, one of Canada's premier public gardens. Or for a memorable Atlantic Canada experience, consider an optional whale-watching and wildlife cruise.

On the return to Saint John, stop at Reversing Falls, where the powerful tides of the Bay of Fundy create a fascinating natural phenomena.

  • Day 4 SAINT JOHN-CHARLOTTETOWN   Before leaving Saint John, visit the historic Saint John City Market, Canada's oldest continuing farmers market dating back to 1876. Then leave New Brunswick and cross the 8-mile/12.9 km-long Confederation Bridge, spanning the Northumberland Strait, en route to Charlottetown, the capital of Prince Edward Island.

This evening, perhaps don a bib and pass the butter at an optional lobster supper, a classic Maritime dining experience.

  • Day 5 CHARLOTTETOWN   Tour Prince Edward Island with a Local Guide and experience the island's distinctive red sandstone cliffs, beaches, and coastal scenery at Prince Edward Island National Park.

Stop in the fishing village of North Rustico to learn about the island's renowned lobster industry, then visit Green Gables Heritage Place, the inspiration for Lucy Maud Montgomery's beloved Anne of Green Gables novels.
