- Day 1 CALGARY Welcome to , home of the Stampede! Your Tour Director is on hand from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. to answer any questions.
- Day 2 CALGARY Welcome to the Stampede -- "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth." Your hotel is conveniently located on the CTrain line, making it easy to come and go from Stampede Park throughout the day! Dust off your cowboy hat and mosey through the gates of Stampede Park with your included admission. Experience the traditions and culture of Indigenous Peoples at Elbow River Camp, sample Western favorites at the Midway, enjoy live entertainment on multiple stages, and browse exhibits showcasing Western art and culture. This evening, watch the heart-stopping Chuckwagon Races as drivers and their teams race for the finish line in one of the Stampede's signature events. Afterward, enjoy the spectacular Grandstand Show featuring hundreds of singers, dancers, and musicians.
- Day 3 CALGARY STAMPEDE GROUNDS AND RODEO Saddle up for another day exploring the Stampede grounds and grandstands for the famous Calgary Stampede Rodeo. Fuel up for the with a traditional pancake breakfast at Fluor Rope Square at Stephen Avenue Mall. Return to the Stampede grounds this morning to see anything you may have missed the day before, or browse the vendors for cowboy hats, shirts, or boots and other Western wear. Then, take your seat in the grandstands and cheer on your favorite rodeo contenders as top riders and ropers compete in events including barrel racing, steer wrestling, saddle bronc, and thrilling bull riding. Beyond the rodeo arena, enjoy live music, square dancing, Western entertainment, livestock exhibits, shops, bars, and restaurants throughout the grounds.
- Day 4 CALGARY-BANFF NATIONAL PARK This morning, enjoy a city tour of Calgary. Highlights include downtown, Fort Calgary, Stampede Park, the Saddledome, and Canada Olympic Park. Then travel west through the foothills into Banff National Park for a two-night stay. Enjoy an orientation tour upon arrival.
- Day 5 BANFF NATIONAL PARK Enjoy your day exploring , Canada's first national park. Hike the many trails, stroll through the Banff townsite, or relax at the hot springs. Lift your sights higher on an optional helicopter ride offering spectacular aerial views of the Canadian Rockies. Or if you prefer to stay on the ground, join the Panoramas & Peaks* optional excursion to visit stunning Moraine Lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks.*This optional excursion begins operating in early June.
- Day 6 BANFF NATIONAL PARK-LAKE LOUISE-COLUMBIA ICEFIELD-JASPER NATIONAL PARK Head north to Lake Louise, where turquoise waters reflect the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Then travel to the Columbia Icefield for a ride aboard the Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier. Continue along the Icefields Parkway through the heart of the Canadian Rockies, passing rugged peaks, glaciers, and mountain valleys. Later, consider joining an optional float trip on the Athabasca River. Enjoy an orientation tour upon arrival in Jasper.
- Day 7 JASPER NATIONAL PARK Today is free to explore . Consider an optional narrated cruise on Maligne Lake to Spirit Island*. Enjoy hiking the area's scenic trails, browsing the shops, or watching for wildlife. Your Tour Director will have suggestions for additional activities and dining.*This optional excursion begins operating in late May/early June.
- Day 8 JASPER NATIONAL PARK-MOUNT ROBSON-PRINCE GEORGE Depart Jasper and follow the Fraser River to the base of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Continue to Prince George, British Columbia's "northern capital," for an overnight stay.
- Day 9 PRINCE GEORGE-SMITHERS-VIA RAIL THE SKEENA-PRINCE RUPERT Today, board VIA Rail's Skeena train for an all-daylight rail journey through the Coast Mountains and along the Skeena River, often called the "River of Mists." Follow historic First Nations trading routes and the paths of early fur traders while watching for bald eagles, black bears, moose, and other wildlife. Disembark in Prince Rupert for a two-night stay.NOTE:Train travel is subject to unforeseen delays.
- Day 10 PRINCE RUPERT After an orientation of , visit the North Pacific Cannery National Historic Site for a guided tour of British Columbia's oldest surviving salmon cannery. Learn about the salmon-canning process and discover what life was like for the people who lived and worked here during the industry's peak. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. (CB)
- Day 11 PRINCE RUPERT-INSIDE PASSAGE CRUISE-PORT HARDY Early this morning, embark on one of the world's most beautiful ocean voyages! The scenery is spectacular, with towering mountains, waterfalls, forested islands, and rainforests. Marine life abounds, with sightings of sea lions and porpoises --and perhaps even an orca. Late night arrival into Port Hardy. (CB)NOTE:Cruising time through the Inside Passage is approximately 18 hours. Please come prepared with all medications, eyeglasses, and any other items you will need.
- Day 12 PORT HARDY-CHEMAINUS-VICTORIA Depart Port Hardy this morning and travel along the eastern coastline of Vancouver Island, passing through Campbell River, known as the "Salmon Capital of the World." Continue south to Chemainus, where you'll stop to see the town's famous outdoor murals depicting the region's history and pioneer heritage. Arrive in Victoria late this afternoon.
- Day 13 VICTORIA Morning sightseeing includes the Inner Harbour, Bastion Square, and Thunderbird Park, home to an impressive collection of totem poles. The rest of the day is yours to explore . Perhaps have afternoon tea at the Fairmont Empress Hotel, visit the Royal BC Museum, or join an optional excursion to Butchart Gardens to enjoy its 55 acres of spectacular floral displays. This evening, consider a stroll along the scenic waterfront.
- Day 14 VICTORIA-FERRY CROSSING-VANCOUVER Today, sail across the Strait of Georgia through the Gulf Islands, an archipelago known for its Mediterranean-like climate. Arrive in Vancouver and take a sightseeing tour including beautiful Stanley Park and other city highlights. This evening, perhaps explore Vancouver's diverse culinary scene for dinner.
- Day 15 VANCOUVER Enjoy a free day to experience Vancouver. Consider taking a water taxi to lively Granville Island with its bustling Public Market, street musicians, and waterfront cafés, or visit historic Gastown with its cobblestone streets, antique shops, art galleries, and iconic Gastown Steam Clock. Your Tour Director will have plenty of suggestions.
- Day 16 VANCOUVER (EMBARKATION) Say goodbye to your Tour Director and embark on your Alaskan cruise ship. Your package price includes Holland America's 'Have It All Premium Cruise Package. (D)
- Day 17 SCENIC CRUISING: INSIDE PASSAGE Spend the day cruising one of the world's most spectacular waterways. Stretching along the coast of British Columbia, the Inside Passage is the longest sheltered inland waterway in the world. Watch for orcas, humpback whales, seals, and bald eagles as you sail past forested islands, snow-capped peaks, and quiet coastal communities. (B,L,D)
- Day 18 JUNEAU Located at the foot of towering mountain peaks on Gastineau Channel, Alaska's capital city of is the gateway to Mendenhall Glacier and the Icefield. - Day 19 SKAGWAY is historically considered the gateway to the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898, when thousands of hopeful prospectors passed through the city and endured treacherous winter conditions on their way to the Yukon Territory. Explore Gold Rush history at the Trail of '98 Museum or the Red Onion Saloon, where memorabilia includes photos of Klondike Kate, Peahull Annie, and other historic figures. - Day 20 SCENIC CRUISING: GLACIER BAY With snow-flecked, forested mountains defining its shores, Glacier Bay National Park offers some of the most dramatic scenery in Alaska. Keep your binoculars and camera on hand as you cruise Glacier Bay to the mile-wide Margerie Glacier, where you may have a chance to witness the spectacle of ice calving. Wildlife abounds in Glacier Bay, so keep a watchful eye for the fluke of a humpback whale breaking the surface or a lone grizzly bear wandering a windswept beach. (B,L,D)
- Day 21 KETCHIKAN Named Alaska's "First City," is the first major port of call for many cruisers entering the fjords of the Inside Passage. The town clings to the banks of the Tongass Narrows, flanked by forests nourished by abundant rainfall. An important hub of the salmon fishing and packing industries, offers the opportunity to try your luck on a sport-fishing excursion, savor fresh seafood at a local restaurant, or explore the cultural heritage of the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian peoples. - Day 22 SCENIC CRUISING: INSIDE PASSAGE Arguably one of the greatest cruising routes in the world, the Inside Passage stretches through stunning landscapes, from Misty Fjords National Monument to famed Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve. Sailing the Inside Passage offers opportunities to spot some of Alaska's most iconic wildlife, with humpback whales and orca plying the bountiful waters alongside the ships, bald eagles soaring overhead and brown bears lumbering on the shoreline.
