  • Day 2 LAS VEGAS-GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, ARIZONA   Life is Grand Leave the sparkle of Las Vegas behind and travel across the storied Mojave, with a stretch of legendary Route 66 leading you toward one of the world's most awe-inspiring natural wonders. Arrive in Grand Canyon National Park and enjoy time to walk the rim, join a ranger-led program or simply watch the canyon glow as the sun begins to set. (B)

Later, travel north to the brilliant blue waters of Lake Powell, where sandstone cliffs rise dramatically above the shoreline, creating a striking contrast of water, rock, and desert sky. (B,D)

Follow a local Navajo guide through the canyon's smooth, sculpted sandstone walls as sunlight filters through the narrow passageways, creating the glowing colors and dramatic light beams that that made this iconic slot canyon famous around the world.
    WATER'S EDGE
    Experience the spectacular scenary of Glen Canyon on this half day float trip along the Colorado River. Enjoy peaceful waters, dramatic red rock cliffs, and incredible views.

Enjoy free time to relax by the pool beneath wide desert skies or visit Goulding's Museum and Trading Post, home to movie memorabilia and Native American artifacts. Later, continue north to Moab, a red-rock adventure hub surrounded by towering mesas, sandstone arches, and dramatic canyon landscapes. Settle in for a relaxing 2-night stay, then enjoy dinner with a southwestern flair in downtown Moab. (B,D)

Begin in Arches National Park, home to more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches, including the world-famous Delicate Arch, and watch for desert bighorn sheep along the cliffs. Continue to Canyonlands National Park before visiting [LF] Dead Horse Point State Park for sweeping views of winding rivers, deep canyons, and layered desert landscapes. (B)
