  • Day 1 Nadi   Hello and welcome to Fiji! Meet your Trip Manager and travel crew at the kickstart meeting, where you’ll run through the trip and get to know each other. From there, we'll ease into island time - it's all blue waters and island views from here. Locations Visited: Nadi FJ.
  • Day 2 Nadi to South Sea Island via Port Denerau and Malamala Beach Club   Today’s the one where it all properly begins. Grab breakfast on the go, throw on something beach-ready and get set for your first real taste of island life. First stop: the marina. Think cafes, shops and polished harbour views as you board the ferry. Then it’s out onto open water, cruising towards the Mamanuca Islands with nothing but blue in every direction. We'll touch down and step straight into beach club mode. Spend the morning swimming, snorkelling or drifting between the infinity pool and the sea. In the afternoon, a local marine biologist will give us the lowdown on reef conservation before your chance to try out your snorkelling skills in the water. The rest of the time is yours—food, drinks and extras on hand if you like. Next, we'll transfer across to South Sea Island and settle in for our overnight stay. Spend the the rest of the day however you like—kayak, paddleboard, snorkel or jump on the glass-bottom boat to see what’s beneath the surface. And once the day visitors head off, and the island becomes your space—just our Contiki crew and the ocean all around. Dinner’s on us, as we wrap up the evening with a fire dance performance. Locations Visited: Nadi FJ, Port Denerau FJ, Malamala Beach Club FJ, South Sea Island FJ.
  • Day 3 South Sea Island to Nacula   Wake up to ocean views and grab your island breakfast. Then it’s time to roll—we'll leave the South Sea and Mamanuca island's behind and cruise north. Think open water, scattered islands and plenty of time to just sit back and take it in. We'll arrive into the Yasawa islands  - a quieter, more remote side of Fiji and check into our bure at Oarsman’s. The afternoon is yours to play with. Swim, snorkel, beach walk or do absolutely nothing. Dinner’s at the resort, followed by a relaxed evening with the crew. Locations Visited: South Sea Island FJ, Nacula FJ.
  • Day 4 Nacula   Today’s yours to ease into. Spend the morning however you like - swimming, snorkelling, beach time or just settling into the rhythm of island life. Later, we'll visit Nacula Village where you'll meet the locals, learn about daily life, traditions and community, and get a closer look at what life here is really like. The rest of the evening is free for some more exploration before we grab dinner at the resort. Locations Visited: Nacula FJ.
  • Day 5 Nacula to Naviti   One last morning in the north. There’s time to relax or, if you’re up for it, head out on an optional visit to the Sawa-i-Lau Caves—an iconic spot known for its clear waters and limestone chambers. Back at the resort, we'll grab a quick lunch before packing things up and getting a move on. Hop back on the boat and cruise south to Naviti Island, in Fiji's Manta region. Once you've settled in, we'll dive straight into a traditional Fijian dinner experience. First up: a demonstration of the lovo, Fiji's centuries-old method of cooking food. Then it's time to dig in and enjoy the feast for yourself. As the sun goes down, we'll gather around a beachside bonfire and soak up island life. Locations Visited: Nacula FJ, Naviti FJ.
  • Day 6 Naviti   This morning, we’ll head out at low tide to harvest nama (sea grapes), learning about its cultural significance and traditional harvesting methods before tasting this local delicacy for ourselves. If you're keen, join an optional experience for the chance to come face-to-face with manta rays as they glide effortlessly through Fiji’s crystal-clear waters. Later, learn about the importance of coconut in island life and get an introduction to preparing traditional Kokoda. Then, as the sun sets, join a Sunset Drift, floating on inflatable rings with a drink in hand and front-row views of the colours overhead. Dinner tonight? Fresh Kokoda and one last evening on Naviti. Locations Visited: Naviti FJ.
  • Day 7 Naviti to Kuata   Swim, snorkel, explore—or just take one last easy morning today. After lunch, we'll pack up and jump back on the boat, heading to our final island stop. Settle into your safari-style tent, tucked among the trees with views over the beach. Today, we'll meet a local marine team to learn about reef conservation and the incredible work being done to protect Fiji’s marine ecosystems. After getting the lowdown, roll up your sleeves and help regenerate the reef by planting coral. Later, enjoy dinner by the water before a free evening to relax, settle into your new island base and soak up the laidback vibes. Locations Visited: Naviti FJ, Kuata FJ.
  • Day 8 Kuata   One last day in island paradise, and it’s a big one. For the ultimate Fiji brag, join an optional reef shark snorkel and watch these powerful ocean predators glide through the crystal-clear waters below. Back on shore, there's time to swim, unwind or simply soak up the scenery. Tonight, round things off with a final dinner together, followed by a vibrant meke performance and traditional kava ceremony for a final taste of Fijian culture, connection and community. Locations Visited: Kuata FJ.
  • Day 9 Kuata to Nadi   You've got one last morning in island mode. Take it easy with a swim, a walk or just one final stretch of beach time before packing up. We'll head back by boat to the mainland, cruising past the islands one last time, taking in those azure views as they slowly fade into the distance, arriving into Port Denarau. And just like that, our Fijian adventure has officially come to an end. Don't be blue, hug it out - there are plenty more islands left for us to explore together. Locations Visited: Kuata FJ, Nadi FJ.

  • Highlights

    • Dining Summary - 7 Dinner (D). 7 Breakfast (B). 7 Lunch (L).
    • Included Experience - Port Denerau: All aboard! The Yasawa Flyer is your ride between Fiji’s island gems. Settle in as you cruise across open water, passing remote islands, bright-blue coastlines and stretches of beach you’ll want to screenshot for later. There’s time to relax, grab a drink onboard and take it all in. It’s a simple transfer, but one that delivers on views from start to finish.. Malamala Beach Club: Cruise over to Malamala and spend the day at Fiji’s first island beach club. Grab your welcome coconut,  then take your time to explore the island. Think beach lounging, infinity pool dips, snorkelling, paddleboarding or just switching off with a view. The island’s small enough to walk around and food and drinks are available throughout the day.. Malamala Beach Club: Take a guided session with a local marine biologist who'll introduce us to Fiji’s reef ecosystems. You’ll learn about reef protection efforts, including how crown-of-thorns starfish impact marine life and what’s being done to manage them. Then it’s time to put theory into practice with a snorkelling intro around Malamala. It’s a relaxed, supportive way to get comfortable in the water and sets you up for later conservation experiences.. South Sea Island: Castaway, but make it Contiki. Arrive at South Sea Island and settle into a small coral-sand island surrounded by ocean in every direction. Spend the afternoon swimming, snorkelling, kayaking or just finding your spot by the water. As day visitors leave, the island shifts—suddenly it’s just your group, with a more exclusive, after-hours feel. In the evening, enjoy a three-course Fijian dinner and a fire dance performance before winding down island-style. Come morning, wake up to ocean views and a buffet breakfast before the next adventure.. Nacula: Swap the sand for a glimpse of everyday life in the Yasawas. Visiting Nacula Village offers the chance to learn more about Fijian culture, community traditions and the strong connection locals have to the islands they call home. Meet members of the community, hear stories passed down through generations and experience the warm hospitality Fiji is famous for. Beyond the beaches, this is a chance to connect with the people and culture that make the islands so special. Remember, respectful dress and behaviour expected throughout.. Naviti: Discover one of Fiji’s most important food traditions with an introduction to the lovo. Learn how this centuries-old cooking method uses hot stones, banana leaves and local ingredients to create a feast designed to bring people together. From preparation to plate, it’s a chance to learn more about the role food plays in Fijian culture, community and celebration.. Naviti: Get hands-on with some of Fiji’s most iconic flavours. Learn about nama (sea grapes), discover why coconut is known as the "tree of life" and see how these ingredients are used across island life and cooking. You'll also be introduced to Kokoda, Fiji’s signature coconut-cured dish, gaining insight into the ingredients, techniques and traditions behind this local favourite.. Kuata: We'll kick off with a guided talk from marine expert and learn about the marine life that depends on the reef and why protection efforts are so important. Then, you'll have the chance to plant your very own coral and support ongoing restoration work. It’s a practical way to give back while learning how responsible travel can help protect these environments for the future.. Kuata: Watch a traditional Meke come to life as local performers share stories of island life through energetic song, dance and storytelling. Then, take part in a kava ceremony, Fiji’s time-honoured tradition of bringing people together, where the drink is prepared and shared as a symbol of welcome and connection. Expect big smiles, plenty of culture and an unforgettable evening spent.
